I am Musical rose, a crystal pony. I'm like any other young filly, I have my mom and dad, Dance and DJ, I have my friends and such. My only problem is that I am blind. I don't know what anyone looks like but I have a good vision of what everyone looks like. My mother tells me I have the most beautiful bright blue coat like my father and her gorgeous golden hair. She pulls my hair into a bun every morning, she says she dose it so I don't trip over it, but I think she only pulls it up so she can see my milk white eyes. At least she lets my tail drag behind me. my mother and I wear artificial wings because my father is a Pegasus and my mother is a unicorn. I have a horn like my mother, but so we can visit grandma and grandpa, mom and I have to wear fake wings we control with our magic, but because I cant see, my mom has to control them until I can.
Today we are going to ponyville to see one of my mother's best friends Rarity. I am so excited, I have never met Rarity but just by how my mother explained her I visualize her as a white coated filly with curled purple hair and dazzling blue eyes. Mom and dad said we will be staying with her for a few days. So I told my mom to pick out the most stunning dresses I have. I wanted Rarity to be impressed by my wardrobe. We are not rich, at all. The most dazzling dresses I had were all patched and bland, I heard my mom say once. I wouldn't know just how bad they are even if i wanted to.
We boarded the train at 12:00, we are supposed to be at ponyville at exactly 2:00. I fell asleep soon after the train started moving. I'm not sure how much time passed, but I woke up to the sound of loud bangs, I heard mom and dad scream and I felt teeth picking me up by my carrying harness I wear so my mom or dad can pick me up quickly if i get lost. I heard the soothing voice of my dad telling me to be quiet. There was something wrong in the way he said it. He sounded scared I heard mom whimper in fear as I heard more loud bangs. What was That noise? Why was it getting louder? We suddenly stopped and i whispered
"Dad, whats going on?" he hushed me and said he loved me, mom wailed and pinned a note to my harness, and I felt something heavy placed in my mouth, it was my suitcase. Mom and dad hugged my and said they love me and that they are truly sorry I didn't know what they meant.
"Mom, dad why are you sorry? We are okay!" I wailed. Mom was making me cry too now.
"We love you so much sweetie, we are so sorry. we will miss you so much." Dad was crying too now. We were all crying and hugging now. "Stay safe sweetie. please just stay safe. oh, please god, keep my little baby safe."
"Daddy what do you mean? Whats going on? Are you leaving me? Please, tell me, Mom?" I heard a door break open and they hugged me one last time my mom placed a necklace around my neck. and she threw me out the window, i floated and started flying, I could tell but the sensation of wind in my face. Then i fell. I couldn't get up. Then I heard a voice i didn't now I was filled with fright.
"Poor,silly child, why don't you get up, child." the voice said. I squeaked and fumbled for my case. "my child, why are you so... clear? are you sick? my child, let Zecora fix you up. come, lets get to my hut." I began to cry and pound my hoofs into the dirt.
"No, please! don't take me, I don't know what you look like, I don't know where you are and who you are! Just let me be, I have nothing to do with you, I need to get to ponyville!" I wailed and the thing fell silent. "Please, just let me be!" I looked around lost.
"Child why are your eyes so white and colorless? are you blind my child, i'm right in front of you!" she sounded angry. "Anyway, I live near ponyville come along she threw me onto her back and trotted off.
"I am blind." I whispered sadly. she hummed and I heard more voices, they were laughing. "I-I need to get to someone called rarity. she I my mums friend." I got off Zecora's back and trotted beside her. She grabbed my leash, I could tell because I felt like I was being slightly chocked.
"Ah, yes, Rarity..... My child, what is your name? I never caught it." Zecora asked. I smiled and blushed.
"My name is Musical rose, but you can call me music... I sing to flowers in my free time. mum says I have a knack for it. For singing." She stopped and called out Rarity. I herd more hoofs running toward us. I also herd six more voices.
"Wh-who is that?"
"artificial wings? COME ON, WANNABE!"
"RAINBOW!"
"HIIIIIIII! DO YOU WANT A BALLOON?!" I felt lighter suddenly.
"She is a total mess!"
"She sure dose look hungry"
"girls, girls, clam yourself. This is Musical rose-" I herd a gasp and hoofs wrap around me. "Rarity, she said something about you" Zecora let go of my leash and trotted away before hollering goodbye.
"You look just like your mother and father Musical rose! Where are they? Are they on their way and you went ahead of them? OOOH iI cant wait to see your mother! how much has she changed?!?" She let me sit up she must have looked at my eyes. "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EYES?!?!?!"
