Chapters It was at least six months after Nightmare Night, and Pipsqueak was sitting in his class, dazing off into day dream land. It was at least one day away from hearts and hooves day, and Pip had no idea who to give his to. The only pony he could think about, is the very lovely princess of the night, Princess Luna.
Pipsqueak has loved Princess Luna since his very first Nightmare Night. He knew she would probably visit Ponyville next year, but he didn't know that for certain. She could just as easily go into the next city, like a famous city like Manehatten, or Los Pegasus. He meant when he said, she was his favorite Princess ever. And here he was, making a Hearts and Hooves Day card for Luna, who he wasn't sure if she would even get it.
As he continued to make the card, Snipps and Snails trotted up to him, and saw what he was making.
"Awwww, how cute. Little Pipsqueak has a little crush on the Princess." Snipps said sarcastically.
"Yea, uh, you don't even know if she reads any of those silly cards anyone sends them." Snails added. The two colts then began to laugh at little Pip. Pip just looked at them with an annoyed look, but inside, he was feeling the same way. What if Luna didn't care? What if she gets it, doesn't even open it, and throws it away?
Pip just shook the thought out of his mind, and directed his attention to the colts. "Well, I guess it's the thought that counts, right?" he said. "I mean, maybe she does read them, and that's good enough for me."
"Yeah right, and going to school and not worrying about getting a good grade is okay with you too." Snipps said. "She doesn't care about little town ponies like us, we're just peasents to her, she's a princess. Just give it up."
The school bell then rang, signifying the end of the school day. Pip put the last touches on his card, and put it in an envelope, and finally left school.
"Good bye Miss Cheeralee." Pip said before leaving.
"Have a good Hearts and Hooves Day Pip, see you tomorrow." she replied.
Pip then went to the mail box, and was prepared to drop his letter in, when he thought about what Snails said. He was just a common pony, not even a full grown stallion, just a tiny colt. And the stallions in Canterlot would probably intercept his letter, so it probably wouldn't even get to Luna. It would just be a waste of paper then.
Pip sat there and slumpped in his thoughts, but then finally perked up, and got the nerve to put the envelope in the mail box.
"Ah, what do they know? She'll probably love it, and who knows, she may even send a letter back to me. I think she'll get like it." Pip said. ".... but, what if she doesn't. What if she only thinks I'm just cute, but doesn't want to be my friend?"
Then the thought dawned on him. "HEY! What if I paid her a visit? Maybe if I get somepony to teleport me to her, maybe I'll be able to see her again, and see if she'll be my friend. And if she didn't get the card, then I'll tell her all that I did with it, and how I made it special for her."
He was all excited at first, but then reality hit him. All of the adults wouldn't dare do anything like that and get in trouble. He would never be able to get there. But wait.... his friend Sweetie Belle is a unicorn. And not only that, but her teacher is one of Princess Celestia's best students. He was sure she could help in some way.
So, with his mind made up, he went home, asked his mother if he could go see Princess Luna, and his mother seemed very understanding where Pip was coming from, and allowed him to go. So now, there was only one last place he had to go before seeing Luna, and that was to see Sweetie Belle to have her help him.
Sweetie Belle was busy in the Cutie Mark Crusader clubhouse, looking for a new topic for the CMC's next Cutie Mark attempt. She had come to the conclusions of either tight-roping, dog training, or canoeing. She was just about to make a final decision, when she heard a knock at the door. Sweetie was a little concerned, because it wasn't the Cutie Mark Crusader secret password door knock.
"Who goes there?" Sweetie said, trying to sound intimidating.
"Hi Sweetie Belle. It's Pipsqueak. I need your help. Can I come in please?"
"Pip, you know that non Cutie Mark Crusaders can't enter unless they wish to join." Pip felt a little embarrassed and discouraged. "But, since you are so nice to me in class, and are pretty much the nicest colt in class, come on in." Pip felt happy again, and gladly trotted inside the clubhouse. He'd never been inside before, and it looked nice. It wasn't grand, but it was nice for a colt or filly.
"So what can I help you with Pip? OOO! This could possibly help me get my cutie mark!"
"Um, if it does, then I'm glad I could help you. But I need your help with something pretty big." Pip had no idea how Sweetie would react to his request. She could be glad to help him, or will she just laugh like the rest of the kids at school.
"Would you see if you could teleport me somewhere?" Pip asked.
"Teleportation? Me? I thought only Twilight could do that kind of stuff. What and where do you need to teleport to?" Sweetie enquired.
"Well, and please don't laugh at me too. I want you to see if you could teleport me to the Canterlot Palace. I want to see Princess Luna again. I want to see if she received my Hearts and Hooves Day letter. Plus, I want to tell her how I feel, and that I want to be her friend, and I want her to be mine."
"Awww~." Sweetie Belle said. "That's so sweet Pip. I had no idea that you felt that way about Luna."
"Wh-What? No, I don't "love" love her, I just want her to be my friend." Pip said with a nervous smile.
"Alright "Romeo"." Sweetie said with a little giggle. "Now keep in mind, I've never tried anything like teleportation before. But if it'll help you get closer to Princess Luna, then I would be happy to help you. Plus, it might even help me FINALLY get my cutie mark."
Pip and Sweetie Belle both grew very excited to the fact that good things might happen to both of them. But Pip was the most excited, he was finally going to see Luna again after so long, he was so excited he could burst.
"Okay Pip, are you ready?" asked Sweetie.
"Absolutely!" exclaimed Pip.
With a nod, Sweetie Belle then began to concentrate on her magic. Her horn began to glow, and Pip was ready. Her horn glowed brighter and brighter and brighter, until....... nothing.
"Oh. what's wrong with this thing?" Sweetie said, as she tried to tinker around with her horn. Pip sighed with disappointment.
"At least you gave it a good try Sweetie." said Pip in a very disgruntled manor. Pip thought he would never get a chance to see or talk to Luna, ever. Until, there was another light coming off of Sweetie Belle's horn. She was trying again. Pip got himself ready, for she wasn't giving up on him. Her light grew brighter and brighter and brighter until......... Pip felt a tingle through him. He had never been teleported before, so he didn't know the feeling.
Then after a minute of trying, Pipsqueak vanished in a second of light. Sweetie Belle opened her eyes, and saw that Pipsqueak was gone.
"YES! I DID IT!" exclaimed Sweetie Belle, bouncing around with delight. She then thought about it, and took one look at her flank to see if she got her cutie mark.
"Awww man, still nothing." she said, disappointed.
All Pip could see whenever he opened his eyes was a bright light. He had to keep them shut so he wouldn't blind his eyes. He had never been teleported by anypony, so he didn't know how long this light would last. And then through his eyelids, he saw that the light was dying down. Pip was now confident enough to start opening his eyes.
So he opened them slowly, and saw that the light had finally died down. But now he faced another problem: it was too dark now. Pip was also sneezing a lot too.
"Achoo! Achoo! Ugh, where did I land? I hope it's still Equestira, let alone Canterlot."
Pip started to feel his was through the pitch black, hoping to find his way through back to light. He trotted for a minute, until he finally saw an opening in front of him. He was so happy, he ran to the opening, foolishly closing his eyes while he was going through. He finally reached the exit, and ran out into the light.
"I made it out! I made it o-." Pip's speech was cut short as he all of a sudden, ran into something. Something........ sticky.
Pip looked, and he saw he was covered in spider webs, and a lot of it. Pip tried his best, he flailed and wiggled, but he couldn't get free. Pip was now truly frightened. Where in Equestria did Sweetie Belle send him? How will he get back?
All of his questions were not answered at the moment, for Pip suddenly heard the ghastly sound of lips smacking each other. Pip looked up to the source of the sound, and to his horror, he also found the source of the web. A spider was perched up at the top of the web, and looking straight at him with all eight eyes. But this spider, was HUGE. It had to be the size of a carriage. if not bigger.
Pip screamed with fear, as the eight legged demon began it's descendance toward the helpless colt. Pip tried once more to loosen the grip of the web, but it was no use. The spider was getting closer, and closer. Pip could even feel the spider's breath upon him. Pip tried one last time to get free, and with one big pull, he finally got himself free.
He then ran for his life, for the spider was about to give chase. As Pip looked at his surroundings, he saw that he wasn't outside. He was inside, in a palace from what it looked like. It looked very beautiful, and so big. Then again, all castles look big. Right now, Pip wasn't worried about the size of castles (yet), he was more worried about the giant spider that was gaining on him.
"PLEASE. SOMEPONY! ANYPONY! HELP ME!" Pip screamed. The spider was almost right on top of him.
When all of a sudden, the spider stopped, turned tail, and ran away. This both relieved, yet worried Pip. If the giant spider was running away, then obviously something bigger was coming. Now that thought did worry little Pipsqueak. Maybe it would be friendly, or just as hostile as the spider, or.....
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
Pip felt the ground below him shaking, and getting stronger with every loud thundering boom. Pip looked all around, and tried to find the source of the earthquakes. It wasn't until he saw a shadow creeping up behind him. He took one look, and jerked his neck back to look up. He saw a huge mass of purple fur, stomping his way.
Pip let out another scream, and ran for his life again, only this time, this giant was moving faster, since it was bigger. Pip looked behind him again, and took a better look at the giant stomping toward him. There was something familiar about this giant.
"Princess T-Twilight?" Pip said. Indeed, it did look like Twilight. "TWILIGHT! HEY! DOWN HERE!" But there was no use, she couldn't hear him. Pip couldn't run anymore, so he got the idea to stop, and let her step over him, which she did. Her booming steps shook the world around and below him. She seemed to be humming a tune as she trotted. Pip saw her belly loom over him, like a giant purple furry cloud flowing by. And with one huge brush of her tail, she finally trotted over him.
"Wow, that was way too close." Pip said. "Why was Princess Twilight so big? And that spider? And this palace?" A short time after asking himself all of these questions, he got an answer. "THEY'RE NOT BIG, I'M SMALL!!!"
Pip had to look around a little more closely to see where exactly he was. The tall ceiling, the awesome architect, and the beautiful stain-glassed windows confirmed his curiosity. He was in the Canterlot Castle. Sweetie Belle's teleportation spell actually worked.
"Wow, I can't believe it actually worked. I'll have to tell Sweetie Belle when I get back. That is....... if I get back. How in the world did I get so small?" Pip said these to himself, until he felt the ground shaking again. He looked around, and saw that it was Princess Twilight once again, coming his way. Only this time, she wasn't alone. Her little assistant Spike was on her back as always.
"I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MANY HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY CARDS WE RECEIVED TWILIGHT." boomed Spike.
"I KNOW. I DIDN'T KNOW HOW MANY PONIES LOVED ME." Twilight replied. "THEY'RE ALL SO SWEET."
Pip then got his hopes up. Maybe Luna will be able to get his letter. Maybe she will like it. But at the moment, he had to stop worrying about that same pair of giant hooves that tried to crush him before, were coming back for another try. Pip turned tail, and ran for his life. Twilight seemed to be trotting faster, which wasn't good for Pip. Pip did the same thing as last time, and let Twilight step over him. Again, she did with no harm to Pip.
This time, Pip thought it would be safer with a "giant", than being alone on the floor, and getting eaten by bugs. Pip sees Twilight's tail approaching him, and with one good jump, he grabbed a hold of her tail and was instantly carried off. Pip saw the world around him move very fast from his point of view.
The two giants continued to talk to each other, and Pipsqueak began to climb up her tail, determined to get the Princess's attention. At least her tail was soft, and easy to grasp. But the bad thing was, it was long. Pip held on so tightly, and scaled higher and higher. Until he finally made it to Twilight's flank. She was still trotting, so bouncing around on her rump was very uncomfortable.
"PRINCESS TWILIGHT! SLOW DOWN!" screamed Pip. But of course she couldn't hear him.
The two giants then went into the throne room, where there was Princess's Celestia, and Luna. Pip saw Luna, his heart instantly began beating away hardly. Pip was so happy to see Luna again, that he was on the verge of tears. Then again, Luna was now towering over him like the goddess figure that she was suppose to be.
"AH, TWILIGHT SPARKLE. I SEE THAT YOU HAVE OUR YEARLY HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY LETTERS." boomed Princess Celestia. Pip instantly shook in fear, for Celestia towered even bigger than Luna. Spike then dismounted Twilight to organize all of the cards. This was Pipsqueak's chance to now move off of Twilight's flank, so that way he won't fall off as easily.
When he finally made it on Twilight's back, he was hoping that none of the Princess's would see him, and think he's a bug. Spike began saying who's card went to who. A lot went to Celestia, and some went to Twilight, but no letter seemed to go to Princess Luna.
"How could anypony not send her any letters on Hearts and Hooves Day? Wait, then where's mine?" Pip thought out loud. He looked at Luna, and saw the sadness and disappointment on her face. She really was sad that she didn't receive any cards. And Pip was confused that his card was nowhere in that pile.
"I'M SORRY LUNA." Twilight said.
"OH, I'M USE TO THESE THINGS BY NOW. NO ONE TRULY LOVES ME EVEN A LITTLE." Luna replied. This really made Pip sorry for the Princess.
"THAT'S NOT TRUE SISTER, I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH." said Celestia, embracing Luna in a hug.
"I KNOW YOU DO, BUT NOPONY ELSE OUT THERE LOVES ME. UNLIKE YOU PONIES, WHO GET LETTERS ALL THE TIME."
"LUNA! I LOVE YOU! I SENT YOU A CARD! HEY!" Pip tried to say to Luna above him.
She sighed. "I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NIGHTMARE NIGHT, AGAIN." Luna said, before trotting off to her dorm, with a sad look as she did.
"OH BY THE WAY TWILIGHT, YOUR SISTER-IN-LAW IS COMING TO PAY YOU A VISIT TOMORROW." Celestia told Twilight.
"CADANCE IS COMING?! YAY!" Twilight said, jumping for joy. Pipsqueak on the other hand, was not happy at all. Twilight was jumping, and making Pip loose his grip of the massive mountain below him, until he couldn't hold on anymore. He lost his grip, and flew in the air. He soared for about, from his point of view, about fifty feet away, and a thousand feet high off the ground. This was bad, because he then started to fall again. This time, the floor was going to break his fall.
Pip screamed in fear, thinking this would be his end, and he never got a chance to talk to Luna. Her sad image was all he could see as he fell to his sure to be doom. When just before he hit, he landed in something soft. He opened his eyes, and saw that he landed in grass. Did he land outside?
That was what he thought, until he felt the grass was moving, and him too.
"Wow." said Pip. "There's tons upon tons of grass here. This would last me forever. Or at least, until it goes bad."
Pip then began to nibble at the giant blades of grass. He didn't eat any lunch, so he was starving by now. He didn't care where he was, butr that he was hungry. That was a mistake. For in the midst of his eating, the grass he was in began to shake. He looked all around, but nothing was in the grass. He then looked up, and saw a giant royal guard trotting his way to him. He seemed to have his eyes set on him.
"Oh no." Pip said. "I'M SO SORRY. I-I DIDN'T MEAN TO INTRUDE. I ONLY WANTED TO SEE LUNA AND THEN I ENDED UP IN THIS PILE OF GRA- WOAH! HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"
Pip felt himself and the grass being lifted by the guard. The giant now fixed his gaze ahead of him, and began trotting forward. Pip had no idea where exactly he had landed. He trotted forward as best as he could without loosing his balance, until he was stopped. He rubbed his head for he had hit something blunt, and hard. He removed the grass that was blocking the view of what he hit, and saw something weird.
It seemed to be made out of tile, and it was white. He looked higher and saw it had a long blue stripe over it. In fact, he saw that blue stripe stretch all around the area he was in. It sort of looked like a.......
"I'M IN A BOWL!!" Pip realized. Just then, Pip was knocked off his hooves again with another quake. Only this was really powerful. What he didn't know, is that the guard was carrying this bowl of grass up some stairs. He seemed to be taking this bowl to somepony.
Pip tried hard to climb the walls of the bowl to get out, but it was too slippery, and much too high. All Pip could do now is wait. He watched the giant guard stomp forward, having no clue of the micro pony he was carrying. Pip then heard the sound of a door opening. He saw the guard step into the door frame, and into another room.
The room seemed to be very dark, with the exception of some lighted candles. Pip was a little frightened. Was he going to a dungeon? To the dogs? To the TRASH?! His thoughts though were interrupted by the booming sound of the guards voice.
"YOUR HIGHNESS, DINNER IS SERVED." he said.
"Your highness? Dinner?" Pip said to himself.
"THANK YOU ROYAL GUARD. YOU MAY PROCEED." said the voice of what seemed to be a Princess. And even better for Pip, it sounded like.......... LUNA! The guard set the bowl in front of her, and when she loomed over the bowl, she was massive, but beautiful.
"LUNA!! DOWN HERE!!! IN YOUR FOOD!!" Pip screamed. "Wait........ I'm in her food!" He instantly turned pale.
"OH, YOU RECEIVED SOMETHING IN THE MAIL, PRINCESS." the guard said. He then hoofed over what seemed to be an envelope. Except this envelope looked familiar to Pip.
"THANK YOU AGAIN GUARD." Luna said.
"YES YOUR GRACE." the guard said before leaving the room. Luna the slowly opened the envelope and pulled out a card. Pip instantly saw, it was HIS card. Luna opened the card, and began reading out loud to herself.
Dear Princess Luna,
I know that we only see you once a year on Nightmare Night. And that being here in Canterlot, you must feel pretty lonely up there. But you should know, that every year, I look forward to seeing you. And every night, I look up at the moon, and tell it goodnight, and that I love the moon...... and you. Happy Hearts & Hooves Day.

Princess Luna was tearing up after reading the card, and this made Pipsqueak a little teary eyed too. She received his letter, and she loved it. But what Pip failed to see, was the fork that was hovering above him. Luna had the fork levitating above the bowl, and with one swoop, she scooped up some grass, and popped it in her mouth. The sound of her chewing snapped Pip out of it, and he began to run.
"LUNA! STOP!" Pip screamed. But Luna then scooped up another clump of grass. This time, with him on it. Luna slowly brought the fork to her muzzle. Pip could feel her hot breathe on him, making him sweat.
"OH PIPSQUEAK, I WISH YOU WERE HERE SO I HAD SOMEPONY TO TALK TO. I LOVE YOU TOO." she said, before slowly bringing the fork to her opening mouth.
"LUUUUUUNNAAAAAAA!!!" screamed Pip.
Princess Luna was just about to take another bite of her steamed grass, when all of a sudden, Luna swore that she could've heard a faint scream. It sounded like it was far away, yet, it seemed so close. She shrugged it off, and went to take her bite, and then again, she heard that scream again. This time, she could hear a fainter sound after the scream...... it sounded like crying.
Luna looked all around the room, to see what was crying. Meanwhile, on the fork, Pipsqueak was so scared about being eaten by Princess Luna, that he cried. He didn't even know if she was looking for him or not, but he didn't care at the moment. He was too scared to even think.
He didn't notice that Luna was now really focusing on the crying. She looked all around, until she gave up. She looked at her fork, hoping her scoop was still warm. Then, she saw a little white speck on it. She was about to chuck it at the wall, thinking someone was try to poison her, until she noticed something. The crying was coming from that spot, from that speck.
Pip was to busy in his tears to even notice that Luna was looking at him. Pip then started to think about how much fun it would be to actually have fun with Luna, especially at this size. But she wouldn't notice him anyway. So this made him cry even more.
Luna soon hovered a magnifying glass overtop of the tiny colt, and let out a gasp. Pip could feel the wind tunnels of that gasp from where he was. He looked up, and saw Luna's eye looking closely where he was. And it wasn't the magnifying glass, she literally was looking closely to him. It was so huge, his whole reflection on it still looked small.
"PIPSQUEAK? IS THAT YOU?" boomed Luna. At his size, her normal speaking voice sounded a lot like the royal canterlot voice. Pip had to cover his ears. Unfortunately, she couldn't notice. She was so close though, he could feel hurricane winds, just from her breathing from her nose.
"YES, IT'S ME LUNA!!!" screamed Pip. Luna couldn't hear what he said, but she could hear him, thus, confirming her suspicion.
"OH PIP. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE IN CANTERLOT? AND WHY ARE YOU SO SMALL? YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE." Luna said. This kinda crushed Pip's spirit to hear this. "HERE, LET ME PUT YOU IN MY EAR. I SHOULD HEAR YOU BETTER FROM THERE."
Luna then levitated the fork to her left ear, and allowed Pip to hop in. Pip looked at the cavern, and saw it was fairly clean, aside to some wax on the floors. Pip sat down and screamed, "I'M IN."
"GREAT." said Luna. "NOW WHY ARE YOU IN CANTERLOT IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS IS FORBIDDEN TO OUTSIDE PONIES, UNLESS INVITED TO THE PALACE. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE PENALTY FOR THAT IS PIP?"
Pip then began to cry again. "OH PLEASE LUNA. PLEASE DON'T THROW ME IN THE DUNGEON." He then gasped, he didn't know he called her name, without using "Princess" in it. Pip then got really scared. "PLEASE... D-DON'T HURT ME." Pip tearfully said.
Luna could hear this in his voice, and instantly changed her attitude. "HEY HEY, PIP, PLEASE DON'T CRY. I'M SORRY. I JUST DON'T WANT ANYTHING HAPPENING TO YOU. NOW, PLEASE TELL ME WHY YOU'RE HERE."
"I WANTED TO SEE YOU PRINCESS." he said with a sniffle.
"ME? WHY ME?"
"I WANTED TO SEE IF YOU GOT MY HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY CARD. I WANTED TO SE IF YOU STILL CARED ABOUT ME. EVERYONE LAUGHS BECAUSE THEY SAY YOU'LL NEVER WANT TO BE MY SPECIAL SOMEPONY, AND I THINK THEY'RE RIGHT. I'M SO SORRY FOR INTRUDING. YOU CAN BURN MY CARD IF YOU WANT."
Luna heard this, and her ears dropped, forgetting Pip was in there. Pip felt the ceiling close down on him, but to him, he treated it like it was a hug. "PIP, I'M HONORED THAT YOU WOULD WANT ME TO BE YOUR SPECIAL SOMEPONY FOR HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY. NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THAT BEFORE. THANK YOU PIP."
Pip felt a little better, and was finally so happy that he was riding in Princess Luna's ear. It felt weird, but very fun.
"PIP, BEFORE I TAKE YOU TO MY SISTER, ALLOW ME TO DO SOMETHING FOR YOU." Luna said. And with that, she tilted her head, and tiny Pip fell onto her humongous hoof. He could see glass for yards, and then felt pressure of being lifted up, to Luna's muzzle. Luna then squished her lips together, and puckered up. Pip was very scared at first, but saw what she was doing, and then happily prepared himself.
Luna placed her lips on the tiny speck, and gave him the biggest kiss he's ever received. Pip did something unusual to him, and kissed her back. She couldn't feel it, but he felt weird, yet, loving to do it. Maybe Pip was growing up.
Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne looking at the daily reports from Equestria. She was reading on the last report on Manehatten, when she saw her sister trotting in as well. She seemed to have a nervous look on her face. She was also trotting slower than usual.
Inside Luna's ear, Pipsqueak was listening to her hooves thundering on the floor hundreds of hooves below him. He was still getting use to the idea of riding in his crushes ear. And not to mention that he's about to meet Princess Celestia in person, not to mention a giant Celestia.
"LITTLE SISTER, WHAT TROUBLES YOU?" Celestia asked.
"I-I HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM ON MY HOOVES." Luna replied. Pip being called a problem belittled him a bit. Then, rising in view of him, was Celestia's huge hoof.
"YOU HAVE A LITTLE SOMETHING IN YOUR EAR." said Celestia.
"W-WAIT NO, I'M NO-" and with one swipe, Pip was wiped out of Luna's ear, and was descending to the emerald floor. Luna turned white for a second with fear, reached out her hoof, and caught the tiny colt.
"OH, I'M SORRY SISTER. I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WANTED THAT RICE IN YOUR EAR." Celestia said, with a look of confusion.
"THIS IS THE PROBLEM." said Luna, voice a little shaken. "LOOK CLOSELY AT THE "RICE" YOU NEARLY KILLED."
Celestia took a good look at the tiny white thing that Luna is so worried about. Pip was looking up at the huge face of Princess Celestia, who towered over her already towering sister. Celestia looked even closer, making Pip see his full reflection in her eye too.
"OH MY, I-IT'S ANOTHER PONY. A LITTLE COLT NONE THE LESS." Celestia said in awe. "HOW DID YOU GET HERE LITTLE ONE?"
So Pip was placed in Celestia's ear, and he told her the whole story. He apologized to her lots of times, for sneaking into the palace, and almost seeming like he was spying on them. Celestia completely understood his intentions, and told him that it was alright.
"YOU ACTUALLY DID LUNA A FAVOR." Celestia told Pip. "YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE TO GIVE LUNA A HEARTS AND HOOVES DAY CARD, AND YOU DID YOUR BEST TO COME HERE AND SEE IT WAS DELIVERED TO HER. FOR THAT, YOU REALLY MUST LOVE HER."
Knowing that Luna couldn't hear him in Celestia's ear, he replied to Celestia. "Yes, I do love her, a-a lot."
"THEN, I SEE NO REASON FOR YOU NOT TO SPEND THE NIGHT. YOU'RE SHRUNKEN STATE WILL WEAR OFF BY THEN. TELEPORTING ALWAYS HAS A.......... MINOR MISHAP WITH FIRST TIMERS. AND IF YOU AND HER WANT, YOU CAN STAY WITH LUNA."
"YES!" Luna said with excitement, almost hurting Pip's ears. Just then, Princess Twilight ran in, wondering what the fuss was about. Celestia pointed to her ear, Twilight trotted over, and saw a tiny white speck.
"EHH, WHAT IS THAT, PRINCESS?" Twilight asked.
"A VISITOR." said Celestia. Pip waved up to Twilight. Twilight put on a kind of nervous smile. "OH, HELLO THERE TINY PONY." said Twilight. Then upon closer observation, she too saw it was Pipsqueak.
She gasped, making hurricane winds for little Pip. "PIP? OH MY GOSH. HOW DID YOU GET HERE? AND, HOW'D YOU GET SO TINY?"
So, the story was explained again. This time, Celestia explained what happened, and Pip was now in Luna's mane, leaning against her crown. Even though it looked different, Luna's mane didn't feel different. Pip didn't want this day to end, or even want to go back to normal. For once, he enjoyed being small.
After their conversation ended, Twilight and Celestia trotted over to Luna, and looked at Pip. Twilight said that she would take Pip home tomorrow after he gets back to normal. Luna was disappointed by the news of Pip leaving her, but knew he had to go eventually. But she was glad anyway that he was spending the night.
Twilight then levitated Pip to her nose, and put him on top. "HEHE, SORRY ABOUT EARLIER. I GUESS I SHOULD BE A LITTLE MORE CAREFUL WITH MY EXCITEMENT." Celestia must've told Twilight about her sending Pip into the food bowl. Pip nodded in a bowing manner, saying he forgave her. "I'M ALMOST JEALOUS OF YOU LUNA, HE'S SO CUTE NOW." Pip gave a little blush.
Luna then levitated him back to her. She gave a little blush to. Then, she leaned in and nuzzled him. Pip was being hardly brushed from side to side by Luna's gigantic muzzle, but Pip nuzzled back as best as he could.
Nightfall was upon Equestria, and it was about time to retire the sun for the day, and let the moon shine above Equestria. Luna was on her way to her post to raise the moon. Of course, riding in her ear, was little Pipsqueak. Pip had gotten use to this mountain of a pony. How loud she spoke and how much she shook his world. But what would you expect a pony the size of a grain of rice to a alicorn princess.
"I AM SO GLAD YOU WENT TO ALL OF THIS TROUBLE JUST TO SEE ME." said Luna. "ASIDE FROM THE....... LITTLE PROBLEM."
"Thanks Princess Luna. I wanted to make sure you didn't feel alone on Hearts and Hooves Day."
"PIP, CAN I ASK YOU SOMETHING? YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE."
"Of course Luna, you can ask me anything." It grew quiet for a bit as Luna stopped.
"YOUR LETTER SAID THAT YOU LOVED THE MOON........ AND ME?" Pip let out a blush.
"W-Well, I-in a way, I do sort of, l-love your work, and yes, I do love the moon so much."
"YOU DON'T SEEM TO WANT TO GIVE ME THE WHOLE TRUTH............ IT'S CUTE." Pip's blush then gained an even brighter red color. Luna was going to find out that Pip has a huge crush on her. Or so at least, he thought.
"PIP, I WANT TO ASK YOU AGAIN. THIS TIME, DON'T BE AFRAID TO TELL ME. DO YOU LOVE ME?" Pip sat there and thought about it. And no matter how scared he was, he couldn't hide the fact. He did love her, and he wanted her to know it.
"Yes Luna. I do love you. Ever since the first time we met on the very first Nightmare Night, I've always thought of you as my favorite princess. Then as time passed, I realized I love the night, the moon, and you." Luna then gave a little blush, then a booming giggle.
"I KNEW IT. I KNEW THERE WAS SOMEPONY OUT THERE WHO LOVED ME!" she yelled, almost bursting Pip's ears. "OH, I'M SORRY." she said quieter.
"It's alright." said Pip. "I don't mind it at all. I just want to enjoy my one day with you until I have to go back to Ponyville....... and never see you again." His mood was saddened at that thought. Luna though, had no sadness.
"PIP, AS YOU WELL KNOW, I AM THE PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT. I HAVE THE POWER TO SLIP INTO A PONY'S DREAMS. SO EVERY NIGHT AFTER TONIGHT, YOU SHALL ALWAYS SEE ME IN YOUR DREAMS. AND I SHALL ALWAYS SPEND TIME WITH YOU."
Pip's eyes began to tear in happiness. He was going to always have a special visit from Princess Luna, and they'll always see each other. "Thank you Luna." said Pip, in an obvious shaky voice, due to the tears.
Luna giggled. "OH IT'S OKAY PIP. HERE, I AM ABOUT TO RAISE THE MOON. WATCH."
With that said, Pip peered out of the over pass of Luna's ear and watched the sky. He could hear a loud humming, and saw a glow all around him. He looked out and saw Luna's horn glowing. She then began to levitate herself off of the floor, and into the air. "HOLD ON." she said as she began to flap her wings, causing a huge gust of wind to blow by Pip, almost knocking him out. Pip, while holding on, looked out to the horizon, and saw the moon slowly be lifted into the sky.
Pip couldn't believe it. He was closer than anypony could ever be when watching the moon be lifted. And even better, within the pony of his dreams. He watched in awe as Luna lifted the moon, noticing the huge smile on her face. Once the moon was fully in place, she slowly fell back on the floor, and stopped the flapping.
"Luna! That was amazing!" Pip said with glee.
Luna levitated Pip out of her ear, and placed him on her muzzle. All he could see is a giant wall of fur with two gigantic eyes in front of him, and behind him, the beautiful night sky. "I'M SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT." Then she began to trot to her room, Pip having to hold on to her muzzle as the mountain moved below him.
Once Luna finished raising the moon for the night, she went back into her room. Pip was still star struck after seeing the whole process of raising the moon. After Luna went into her room, she hopped onto her bed, almost sending Pip flying. Even though Luna was almost three thousand years old, she still acted very childish. She levitated Pip out of her ear, and placed him in front of her. To Pip, he was very intimidated by the mountain of a goddess before him.
"SO PIP, HOW DO YOU LIKE IT HERE?" asked Luna.
"I loved it so much, and you." said Pip, but being Pip was out of Luna's ear, she couldn't hear him anymore. All Luna did was giggle.
"I BET IT WAS GREAT." she said. She then stood up fully so she could show off her full height to Pip. Pip of course fell over in a bit of fear. Then again, she was a giant version of the mare he loves, so he didn't mind. As he looked at Luna, she had a big smile on her face, a kind of playful smile too.
"YOU'RE SO SMALL." said Luna with a little giggle. Pip opened his mouth to say something, when she bounced lightly into the air. When she hit the bed, Pip was sent flying into the air. He only flew up to Luna's knee, then fell back on the mattress. Luna giggled hard, while Pip saw stars.
"WANT TO DO IT AGAIN?" asked Luna. Pip shook his head, but she didn't see it. Luna went ahead and bounced again, this time, over and over again. The tremors for Pip were massive and uneven. Every time he tried to stand, he was knocked off of his hooves, and immediately bounced into the air. It was like he was in one of those bounce houses.
Luna finally slowed down after a while, and smiled at Pip. She levitated Pip off the bed, and onto the floor. Luna then flew off the bed and landed gently on the floor. Pip tried his best to stay on the floor as Luna finished flapping her wings, causing hurricane winds.
Luna looked down at him with a childish smile. "DO NOT BE AFRAID PIP." she said. "I ONLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME. I WISH NOT TO HARM YOU, AND I SHALL NOT." Pip was confused at first, then saw Luna raising her hoof. Pip saw the shadow over him, and he ran for it, before it plummeted to the floor. The ground shook very hard. She then took another heavy step for Pip, making it shake more.
"I FEEL LIKE A GIANT LIKE IN THAT STORY." Luna said with a giggle. Pip never thought about that. 'That's why she's so playful now.' he thought. 'Now that the moon is up, she can play around now.' He was thinking when she started stomping closer to him. Pip then ran the other way and she followed him.
"FEE FI FO FUM." Luna boomed with a giggle as she followed Pip. Pip then had a smile on his face, being how much fun he was having.
As they were playing, there was a knock at the door.
"WHO IS IT?" asked Luna.
"IT'S CADANCE, CAN I COME IN?"
"OF COURSE." said Luna. Cadance then let herself inside, and just barely missing the tiny pony who was heading for the door. She stomped right in front of him, knocking him back.
"CADANCE! BE CAREFUL!" yelled Luna. Princess Cadance looked down and saw the white speck in front of her hoof. She let out a gasp. "OH MY GOODNESS! I'M SORRY PIP." she said. She leaned down close to Pip to see if he was okay, and saw him moving, so she let out a sigh of relief, nearly sending Pip flying.
"HOW DID YOU KNOW PIP WAS HERE?" asked Luna.
"AUNT CELESTIA TOLD ME." answered Cadance. "I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS SO SMALL. I ALMOST STEPPED ON HIM. I'M SORRY PIP."
Pip said it was alright, but Cadance couldn't hear him. So she levitated him to her face, right in front her eye. Pip nodded his head to say it was alright. She saw this and smiled. "AND HE'S SO CUTE TOO." she said. Pip blushed hard. Cadance then set him on the floor again, right in between the two titans.
"WHAT WERE YOU TWO DOING?" asked Cadance.
"I WAS PRETENDING TO BE A GIANT TO PIP." said Luna.
"OH, I SEE. CAN I JOIN IN?" asked Cadance.
"SURE!" said Luna. Pip watched as the two giantess's talked about what they were going to do. Then they looked at Pip.
"OKAY PIP, WE WANT TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK. YOU HIDE, AND WE'LL SEEK. AND WE HAVE TO SEEK YOU BY SNIFFING YOU OUT. OKAY?" asked Luna.
Pip, always up to having fun, agreed to the game. Cadance and Luna just assumed he did and nodded. Cadance and Luna closed their eyes and began counting. Pip looked around for a place to hide, then decided to go behind Luna's bed leg. When they finished counting, they put their noses to the floor, and began sniffing. Pip heard the gusts coming in and out of their nostrils. He watched the two giants search for Pip.
This went on for a while, until he saw Cadance turn to Pip's direction. She began stomping closer to where he was, sniffing away. Pip found himself starting to be sucked in her direction, and held on tight to the bed post. The closer she crept, the stronger the suction. She was so close, Pip could hear her panting, and feel the warm breath from her panting. Cadance was about to be right on top of him, until she turned around and sniffed the other way.
Pip watched the massive frame of Cadance crawl away, and Pip let out a sigh of relief. He turned around, and was met with a surprise. Luna was staring right at him, with her muzzle just a few tiny hooves in front of him. She then pressed her muzzle against Pip, squishing him between her muzzle, and the bed leg. She then acted if she was still searching for him, and kept sniffing. Pip was being rubbed hardly every time she sniffed. She let out a giggle, and said "I FOUND YOU."
Luna placed Pip on he maw, and trotted to Cadance, who then shared a laugh with all three of them. Later, after Cadance left, Luna and Pip were snuggled in for the night. Pip rested in Luna's armpit, using her giant furry arm as a blanket.
"We had a lot of fun today, Luna." squeaked Pip.
"I HAD FUN TOO PIP. AND WE SHALL HAVE MORE FUN WHEN YOU GET HOME, EVERY NIGHT." said Luna. Pip nuzzled Luna's massive body, and Luna in return gave Pip a big goodnight kiss.
"GOODNIGHT MY LITTLE PIP." said Luna with a yawn.
"Goodnight, my giant goddess Luna." yawned Pip, as they both went to sleep.
The next morning, Pipsqueak awakens to the sun being lifted in the sky. He missed Celestia raising the sun. But he didn't bother, for he saw his favorite princess do her job already. In fact, he looked behind him to see how Luna was doing. She had the cutest look to her. A massive bed head, and she was snoring, not loud, but loud to him. Pip looked at the sleeping giantess with a smile, and nuzzled her chest. Her breathing pressed him up and down, even if he was in her arm pit.
Luna then started to lightly roll, applying more pressure on Pip. He started to get a little squished underneath her, and let out a yell. "LUNA! HEY!" Luna couldn't hear him, but stopped. Pip was now very uncomfortable. HE wasn't going to be squished anymore, but now it was uncomfortable, and tight.
After about another ten minutes, Luna slowly woke up, and rolled back over. She looked at Pip with a blush, and lightly nuzzled him.
"MORNING PIPSQUEAK." she said. She then gave him a big kiss, and levitated him in her ear. "I HOPE YOU SLEPT WELL?" she asked.
"Well, yes I did. Then I woke up, and you kinda started to roll over on me." he said. Luna gave another little blush.
"SORRY, I GUESS I HAD TOO GOOD OF A SLEEP."
"It's okay Luna." he said. Luna nodded and headed downstairs. Pip sat in her ear and listened to her hooves. He also watched the castle flow by on the outside of her ear. He saw Princess Twilight walking up on that side. Twilight looked to Luna's ear, and saw Pip was in there. She gave a big smile, and winked at him.
Luna walked into the dining hall, possibly going for breakfast. Indeed she was. She trotted up to the table, and levitated him on the table. Celestia was in there too, prepared to dine as well. When the chefs brought out the food, they even brought out a mini plate for Pip.
"LET US EAT." declared Celestia. And then everyone began to eat. Pip ate too. It was a nicely shrunk egg, busted too. It was the best egg he ever ate, like the grass he ate in Luna's bowl. It was a delectable quizine. And once everyone was done, Celestia looked at the micro pony and nuzzled him. She acted as his oversized napkin. Pip looked up at Luna, who seemed to have lost her smile.
"ARE YOU READY TO SAY GOODBYE?" asked Celestia. Luna started to tear up at that thought, but sucked it up.
"YES." she replied. She leaned down to Pip's body and nuzzled him. "REMEMBER, EVERY NIGHT RIGHT?"
"RIGHT." Pip yelled back. Luna then gave Pip a big kiss, and let Twilight have him. She levitated him to her muzzle, and placed him on. "GOODBYE LUNA." he said.
"Goodbye Pip." Luna said with a little smile. And with that, Twilight flew off. Pip held on for dear life, as Twilight looked at him and smiled.
"DID YOU ENJOY YOUR STAY?" asked Twilight.
"Yes. Very much." Pip replied.
"I WISHED I HAD SOME OF THE TIME TO PLAY WITH YOU LIKE LUNA AND CADANCE DID." she said.
"Can we do it when we get home? Before I get big?" asked Pip. Twilight let out a big smile.
"SURE. I'D LOVE TO." she said. "LETS GET STARTED WHEN I GET YOU HOME."
After a few minutes, Twilight and Pip made it to Ponyville. Even though Twilight was a princess now, it didn't mean she was confined to the castle. She always visited her friends in Ponyville, not just her fellow element partners. Pipsqueak looked around at Ponyville at his new size, and saw that it wasn't any different as how the castle looked. All of the houses were like castles.
Going to see Sweetie Belle was going to be awkward. She was the whole reason why he was small in the first place. He didn't like his new size at first. But as the time went by, he grew to like his new point of view. Also, he got to spend his tiny time with Princess Luna, and nothing would be better than the time with her.
Twilight then went to the Carousel Boutique to go see if Sweetie was there. When she went inside, she was greeted by her good friend, Rarity. When she saw Twilight, she wrapped her in a big hug.
"Twilight!" she said. "It's so good to see you again. What brings you to my boutique? Do you need a new outfit?"
"No, but thank you Rarity." said Twilight. "But what I do need is to see Sweetie Belle."
"Oh my, did she do something wrong? I'll give her a stern talking to." she said.
"No, I just really need to see her." Twi said.
"Okay. She's in my room darling. Tell me how it went." said Rarity. Twilight nodded and headed upstairs to her bedroom. But before she could get to the stairs, Rarity stopped her again. She levitated a napkin to Twilight's muzzle, and wiped. Twilight gasped as she remembered Pip was on there.
"HELP ME!!" she heard tiny Pip scream. Twilight quickly grabbed the napkin from Rarity. Rarity of course was very confused.
"What was that for Twilight?" asked Rarity.
"Do you ever take any consideration for bugs feelings?" asked Twilight. She then quickly walked upstairs, leaving Rarity very confused. Twilight entered the room and saw Sweetie Belle just sitting and drawing a picture for Rarity.
"Oh, hi Twilight." said Sweetie Belle. "What brings you here?"
"Well, as I understand, you helped Pipsqueak with a teleportation spell to teleport him to the castle." Twilight said.
"So it worked? YES!" yelled Sweetie with joy.
"Well...... yes and no." Twilight reassured. "You did send Pip to the castle. But...." Just then, she pulled the napkin out for Sweetie, opened it up, and Pip fell out. It was a short drop though to the table. Sweetie's eyes grew wide when she saw the micro colt in front of her.
"I did that?" asked Sweetie.
"Yes. But don't worry, I can fix him." said Twilight. Sweetie's eyes went back to Pip, and they started getting moist.
"Pip, I'm so sorry for this. I didn't know. You must be really scared." Sweetie said, rubbing him with her muzzle. He was pressed under fur, but he knew that she wouldn't hurt him, even though she shrank him.
"It's okay Sweetie, it was your first try. Now, I brought him here to actually have a play day with him before I turn him to normal. Would you like to join us?"
"Sure!" Sweetie said with joy. Pip had to cover his ears when he heard her. Twilight then picked Pip up and placed him on her back, smiling widely.
"Wanna go on a giant pony ride Pip?" Twilight asked. Pip was a little worried, but nodded. Twilight barely saw it, and smiled. "Okay, hold on Pip." she said, and thus, she began to hop around, like she use to do as a filly. She even added a few "yes's " in the bouncing. Pip felt he was on a roller coaster times ten. He went air born a couple of times, but he never fell off.
When she stopped bouncing, she gave Pip to Sweetie. Sweetie gave him a little giggle. "I know what we can do." she said. "You're the perfect size too." She carried him to her side of the room, and placed him in a toy chair, that would still be huge to him. When Pip looked around, he saw where Sweetie put him. It was in a tea party kind of setting.
"I don't wanna do this Sweetie." said Pip. Of course she couldn't hear him, nor would she really care. She poured her imaginary tea for Pip.
"Dive in Pip, it's chocolate milk." she said. How could he argue with that? He jumped in and of course..... nothing in the cup. Sweetie saw this and just fell over laughing. Pip crawled out and looked at Sweetie with an annoyed look. Sweetie stood back up, accidently hitting the table, making a massive tremor for Pip.
"Oh, sorry Pip." she said.

He guys. Sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately. But due to either lack of inspiration, or too much work to do, I haven't gotten around to do it. It will be finished soon, and then I can go on to a story that I've been wanting to re-tell for a while.
