Princess Celestia ponders how to save her country from the return of her sister's inhuman form, Nightmare Moon. As it turns out, the Elements of Harmony are essential, as through their power Nightmare Moon was banished in the first place. Losing whatever connection she had with elements she had in the first place when ridding the world of her sister (if only temporarily), Celestia must look to her ever faithful student, and obvious wielder of the Element of Magic, Twilight Sparkle to gather the other five bearers of the elements.

This story is humanized and follows Twilight and friends in the military to try and save the country of Equestria from many different threats. As this story starts of as a retelling of the first two episodes, it clearly isn't canon. I will however try to incorporate canon characters and story arcs (discord, chrysalis, sombra, etc.) while giving them the tweaks needed to stay within the boundaries of the world around my story.

This is my first story (fan fic or otherwise) so I would appreciate any and all comments. Also I am labeling this as teen for right now as there are swearing and violence (and very light gore). If the story proves itself to be mature I will label it as such.
