Sombra deserted Equestria for greater power to get revenge on a certain pony. Twilight goes after him. They meet up(and fight) at the place where Celestia and Luna fought a thousand years ago.

Really just an excuse to see how many times I can have Twilight be kicked in the face before someone calls me out on it. Teen for language and slight gore…Okay, maybe at one point someone can no longer use their foreleg, but… There is an undertone of 'Twilight+Sombra', but really I'm just melding the relationship Naruto has with Sasuke, and making it more girly… I don't bring much more attention than Naruto did to it, so…
Oh, and Trixie gets to be Itachi. Yes, Sombra, Equestria's King of Darkness, is second to Trixie.
