Nothing but a bother

"Well... Thanks, I feel a bit better now" Scootaloo said, wiping her mouth.
"But why were you sad in the first place?" The pink earthpony asked her little friend.
Scootaloo considered telling her the truth, and decided to since she really could trust Pinkie Pie.
"Sweetie Belle got her cutiemark today and... To be honest I'm jealous. Sweetie is my best friend, and I should be happy for her, I really should, but I don't, I hate the fact that she can controll her horn and I can't even fly..." She stopped when she felt the warm embrance of Pinkies fur. She felt safe in her hug, and started to cry as she dug her face deep in the bakers neck.
"Oh poor little filly, you'll get your mark eventually" Pinkie said and looked her in the eyes
"Just be..."
"Patiant!" Scooaloo interupted.
"Im sick of everypony telling me to be patiant and wait for it to come, what if it never comes! What if I'll never even fly!"
"Scootaloo, I'm sorry I just..."
"I'm sorry, Pinkie Pie, I shouldn't have yelled like that... Thanks for the cupcakes, but I think I just need to be alone now" Scootaloo said and left her friend, who could only watch a sad filly walk away.

Scootaloo didn't know where to now. Normaly she'd play with Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, but now was different. She decided to find a nice spot in the sun and take a nap. She entered the Everfree forest and began to walk along a path she knew like the inside of her pocket, well, if she had one.
