Disobedience in Ponyville
The stress
Previous ChapterIt was early in the morning and the sun had been lifted over Ponyville. Twilight paced the library, levitating several pieces of parchment in front of her and reading them intently. Spike came down the stairs with a pile of books and set them down on a desk. He saw Twilights look of concern and padded over to her.
"What's wrong Twilight? You look upset." He asked her. She lowered the letters and looked at him calmly.
"I'm fine Spike, but I've received multiple amounts of complaints about a lot of noise being made by some of those students the past couple of nights." she explained, trying to keep her cool. "I have no idea how to keep them all under control! I'm a princess now, I should know how to handle things like this!" Spike could tell she was starting to panic and moved towards her, but she flailed her arms around as she continued to rant. "I need to keep everyone happy. These ponies are young and deserve to have a good time, but I'm in charge of Ponyville for the time being and I need to be more concerned about the residents I am in charge of!" Twilight screamed. Spike jumped back, startled and tried to think of ways to help but his mind went blank.
"You're going to be okay Twilight, maybe you just need some rest." he added.
"I'd love to Spike, but I need to fix this before it gets out of hoof." Twilight finished and began making her way to the town hall. She had a talk with the teachers who were '.' of the students and assured the people who complained that it wouldn't happen again. She managed to stay calm, but the stress was really getting to her.
In sugarcube corner, Jazz Rhythm was getting ready to leave. She'd thought that Rosie had been at home the night before but Pinkie Pie said she hadn't been there since they left for the concert. Jazz was going to go and look for her, she wouldn't be able to stop worrying otherwise. She shouted to Pinkie that she was going and walked into the brisk morning air. Jazz checked the concert arena and the area around it but there was no sign of her. She went to the places where all of their friends were staying and again nothing. By around noon she was really panicking. She had gotten all of the people she knew to help with the search, even Rainbow Dash, but nothing. She went to sit on a bench in the park and sighed heavily. She could burst into tears any second. Then she felt somepony else sit beside her and she jumped, and saw that it was Midnight. He was now considered as a very good friend and they talked for a while.
"Any sign of her yet?" he asked. Jazz shook her head. Midnight thought for a second. " Hey, maybe she went with that guy she was with last night! Do you know who it was?" he said hopefully. She stiffened and nodded. They stood and he looked at her puzzled.
"Follow me." Jazz said and she started walking towards sweet apple acres. "I have an idea."
