It was late at night in the land of Equestria, and Princess Celestia was getting ready for bed, as she thought she had deserved a rest considering her day of excruciating work of raising the sun that morning as well as trying to keep herself attentive to her duties as ruler, when a guard came into her bedchambers. he looked breath taken and shocked as he tried to tell his mistress what the other guards had found at the entrance of the castle. "My Lady, there's somepony at the gate and he looks gravely injured." The guard said. "Bring him inside quickly." Celestia ordered. "Of course." He said nodding and ran off. The rest of the guards carried the young Unicorn in and lay him on the bed, and when she saw him, Celestia knew who the stallion was but had decided to let nature take it's course to allow him to regain his memories. "Wh-where am I?" he asked groaning at first as his eyes began to open when suddenly he awoke quickly observing his surroundings. "Who are you? what have you done!?" he asked angrily, his horn glowing instinctively thinking the ponies around him were a threat. "Calm down young one. You're among friends here, Don't be frightened. I am Princess Celestia, and you are in my bedchamber. Can you tell us what happened to you?" she asked. "The last thing I remember I was at home but it was being destroyed by...that's it. I can't remember anything else." He said. "mmm. Well, your mark is very strange. I have never seen these markings before." Celestia stated nodding to his tale, then to his flank. "What?" the young Stallion asked and was brought a mirror. He then began to scream clutching his head, his face in a look of anguish. The guards went to help him but Celestia stopped them unfurling her wings in their path. "No, I think he's remembering something." She said. The Stallion stopped his screaming and took his hooves from his head slowly and opened his eyes. "That mark. The wings are that of an Angel as well as the gold circle which is called a Halo. Then the sword like object is called a Keyblade." He said surprised at the fact he remembered. "So you remember something. That's good." Celestia confirmed. "Yeah. I guess so." He said sadly wishing he could remember more. "Well we'll need to call you something. How dose Angel Knight sound? For Now at least." Celestia asked. "Angel Knight." the Stallion repeated. He then looked up at her and nodded his face in a look of pride mixed in with slight sadness to the fact he couldn't remember his own name. yet somewhere he felt like the name Celestia had given meant something to him. "Good. Now try to get some rest and we'll find you a place to stay in the morning." Celestia said turning to the door. "But..This is your bedchamber. I don't want to-"Angel started. "It's alright. I have to be up soon anyway." Celestia pointed out looking back at him with a smile. Angel nodded and fell asleep. "do you find it wise my lady?" one of the guards asked when she had stepped out of the room. "I do. He seems harmless enough so until I find evidence he is evil we will help him." Celestia said and left not telling the guard of her previous thoughts. "I hope you're right my lady." The guard said in a worried tone and followed her to the spare bedroom across the hall to guard her. //-------------------------------------------------------// Introductions to friends and enemies //-------------------------------------------------------// Introductions to friends and enemies The next morning Angel woke with a yawn as the sun reached his eyes. "Good Morning." Came a voice at the door. Angel looked to see a Purple Unicorn with dark blue hair and a purple streak on the front. "Hi. Good morning. I'm Angel, Angel Knight." Angel said. "Twilight Sparkle. So what brings you to the Castle?" she asked. "I was found at the steps and was put in Celestia's bed to rest. I'd tell you more but I can't really remember anything." He said. "Oh I'm so sorry. Is there anything I can do?" she asked him "Actually there is." came Celestia's voice from behind her. "Teacher. I didn't see you there." Twilight said embarrassed. "It's quite alright." Celestia said smiling. "So what is it you need me to do?" Twilight asked. "I need you to take Angel here to Ponyville and take care of him as well as have your friends meet him. I have a feeling he will be a great help to you and the others should evil rein its head." Celestia said. "Oh, alright." Twilight said and smiled and walked out of the room. "Celestia, are you sure about this?" Angel asked. "Of course. Now go on." Celestia said pushing him out the door playfully. "Alright. Thank you for your help my lady." Angel said kneeling respectfully. "Any time young one. Goodbye." "Goodbye." Angel said as he followed Twilight out to the chariot. *************************** It had taken a while to reach Ponyville but they finally made it. As Twilight stepped off she welcomed him to the Village and showed him around and after they went to Applejack's farm to meet up with the other girls. "Hi guys this here is Angel Knight. He'll be staying with us for a while." Twilight said. "Hello." Angel said nervously. "Howdy. I'm Applejack." Said the tan pony with a cowboys hat and southern accent. "Names Rainbowdash." said a blue pony with a rainbow main and tail. "I'm Pinkypie." said a pink pony. "I-I'm Fluttershy." said a tan pony with pink main and tail "And I'm Rarity." said a white pony with purple hair. "A Pleasure to meet you all." He said. "Well now that the introductions are over, who wants to play tag?" Twilight asked to which all the girls said yes and Angel just tagged along. "Okay. You're it Angel." Twilight said and tagged him and ran off. "oh, you're gonna get it." Angel said playfully angry. Everyone started to run off as the game started. But little did they know they were being watched. Suddenly as the game was about over a Black creature with yellow eyes attacked Twilight. "ahh! what is that?" she cried out. suddenly a wave of memory hit Angel like a brick to the face. he shook his head a bit to relieve the daze and recalled the name of the creature as well as realizing that it was the same creature that had attacked him before. "A Heartless!" Angel said and suddenly a sword that looked like a key appeared beside him floating. He ran at the Creature he called a Heartless and slashed his Keyblade at it making it disappear in a puff of black smoke. "Girls I need you to get out of here they might be trying to steal your hearts." Angel called to them "No we wont leave you behind." Twilight said. "I'll be fine just go!" Angel said as he slammed his Keyblade on a Heartless from the air. "What do we do Twilight?" Rarity asked. "I say we help him. no way a creature like that is stealing our Hearts!" Rainbowdash said getting cocky. "B-but what if they?" Fluttershy started to ask. "It won't happen Fluttershy. C'mon girls lets go!" Twilight said and they raced off to help Angel. "Thunder!!" Angel called pointing his Keyblade to the sky and bolts of Lightning came and destroyed the heartless surrounding him. he then noticed the girls helping him. "I thought I told you to run?" Angel asked. "We all agreed to help Angel so that's what we're gonna do." Twilight said. Angel smirked and continued his assault. finally all the heartless that were left ran away. "YEEHAW! we did it!" Applejack said. "Thanks girls. I appreciate your help." Angel said. "Any time Angel. now lets get you to your house." Twilight said. Angel smiled and nodded following them back to Ponyville. //-------------------------------------------------------// New Home //-------------------------------------------------------// New Home It had taken a while to get to Angel's new home but they finally made it. it was similler to Twilight's house as far as it was a tree and the windows and door were in the same places but the color was a dove white and had a gold Cross on the door. "well, Here we are." Twilight said. "wow. it's really nice." Angel said. "you like it?" she asked. "yeah. it's awesome." he said and stepped inside with Twilight and the other girls following. the interior was to him just as good as the exterior. it had a small library for Angel to collect books, a dojo for him to practice his fighting, a bedroom, bathroom, and all the necessary things. "well, I thank you girls for helping me. I shall repay your kindness one day." Angel said bowing to them. "oh there's no need. we were glad to." Twilight said. "well, If you insist." Angel said standing. he walked over to one of the book cases and placed a small book on the shelf. "what's that book Angel?" Twilight asked. "it's my new journal. Princess Celestia gave it to me before I left to chronolize my stay here, how ever long that may be." he said. "oh." Twilight said. "well I would like to throw you a party welcoming you to Ponyville if that's alright Angel." Pinkie pie said getting excited. "a party?" Angel asked then began to think on it," I guess that will be alright." he said putting his hoof down. "YAY!" she said then started to ramble on on what her plans were and after she dashed off. "she is so random" Rainbow dash said. "I guess so." angel said and cleared his throat," well I thank you again for your hospitality but if you'll excuse me I have some work to do." "Of course Angel. I'll come get you for the party when Pinky is finished with everything." Twilight said. Angel nodded smiling. he walked them to the door and waved goodbye when they left and shut the door behind him. "well Guess I'll start unpacking." Angel said and got started. *********************************************** After a few hours Pinkie pie had informed Twilight that the preparations were ready and Twilight was on her way to get Angel. "Angel you home?" she called Knocking on the door. the only answer she got was of him screaming. worried for her new friend she barged in. "Angel are you alright?" she asked. "in all the darnedest things to happen." Angel said to himself behind a table of beakers, test tubes and the like."Oh Twilight I didn't hear you come in. please take a seat." he said and started to limp on his right front hoof. "Angel what happened?" Twilight asked. "oh it's nothing just burnt my hoof on a Potion. he said washing it. he walked back over to her and sat down. "so I take it Pinkie pie is ready?" he asked. "Y-yes she is. Angel I didn't know you were into magic." she said. "Oh that?" he asked indicating the small lab," Technicaly it's Alchemy but I dabble in Magic as well." he said. "Alchemy?" she asked,"What's that?" "it is the Process of Comprehension, Deconstruction, and Reconstruction of an object. like turn lead into gold for example." he said. "huh. you'll have to explain more on the subject." Twilight said getting interested. "Yes but now is time for the party." he said and stood. "right." Twilight said and smiled walking to the door. "Fillies first." he said opening the door. "oh thank you." Twilight said blushing. "my pleasure." he said and after she exited he followed her to Pinkypie's.
