"This is so frustrating!" screamed Rarity.
"Calm down, Rarity. You'll eventually finish this project or whatever it is," said Rainbow Dash
"You don't understand, it's not just a little project. It's a whole collection I have to design. Hoitey Toitey wants me to design ten original wedding dresses for his boutique by Sunday!"
"Rarity, you're an amazing designer. You'll figure it out by then. You have almost a week to do so," said Rainbow Dash in a calming voice.
"I don't know what ever could be wrong with me. I never have problems thinking of designs."
"I'll tell you what's wrong with you. You don't have any passion in your life. No romance, or anything," Dash flirtatiously said.
"What in the bloody hell does passion have to do with anything?" Rarity questioned.
"Um it has everything to do with why you can't design a dress! How else will you be inspired without passion?" Rainbow dash asked as she threw her hands in the air.
"Dashie, my dear. I don't need romance or passion to design a dress," explained Rarity.
"I guess you don't, but you do if you want to design a beautiful dress that will please Hoitey Toitey."
All of the sudden, the door opened and a beautiful woman walked into Rarity's shop. She had a long, dark blueish-purple hair. Her eccentric green eyes lit up the whole room. Rainbow Dash stopped and starred at this beautiful mare.
"What ever are you starring at, Dash?" Rarity asked as she had just looked up from her sketch pad.
"The hottie that just walked in here," Rainbow Dash explained.
Rarity rolled her eyes and said, "Of course. All you ever do is check out other women."
Dash looked puzzled, "Other women? I'm not committed to anybody. I can look at any girl I want. And am I detecting a hint of jealousy?"
Rarity's eyes widened, she was bewildered.
"Jealousy? Darling, I'm not a lesbian," Rarity deliberately explained.
"Yeah, but I am, and I can totally tell when other chicks are jealous," said Rainbow Dash smoothly.
"Rainbow Dash! I am not jealous!" screamed Rarity.
The beautiful mare had walked up behind Rarity just as she started yelling. After Rarity's outburst she looked very taken aback.
"Um…" she muttered.
"Oh my good heavens. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry you had to hear that," Rarity apologized to the mare.
"Oh it's totally okay," she said.
"Is there anything I can help you with, ma'am?" Rarity asked.
"Actually yes. I'm looking for a really tight, hip mini dress that I can wear to a party this weekend," she explained.
"Wait, would that by any chance be Vinyl's huge party this weekend?" Rainbow Dash excitedly asked.
"Actually yes. You're going too?"
"Hell yeah I am! It's going to be huge! I invited Rarity over here, but she said no because "Vinyl's parties are classless." Rainbow dash said.
Rarity rolled her eyes and ignored Rainbow Dashes comment.
"Man, that sucks. Looks like you're going to miss out on an awesome party, Rarity."
Rarity looked extremely agitated. She looked like she was about to strangle somebody. She looked the woman up and down. She was thin. She wore black sneakers with skin tight jeans and a zip up periwinkle hoodie. Rarity couldn't help but notice the size of her breasts. How could someone so thin have breasts that big? No wonder Rainbow Dash was starring.
"So since Rarity isn't going with me, would you like to?"
"I'd love to!" the woman exclaimed.
"Wait, Dash. If you really really want me to go, then I will," Rarity pleadingly said.
"Nah it's alright, Rarity. I wouldn't want to force you to go," Rainbow Dash empathetically said.
"So what did you say your name was?" Rainbow Dash asked the woman.
"Kelsey," she said in a flirtatious tone.
"I like that name," Rainbow Dash said back flirtatiously.
Rarity once again rolled her eyes at Rainbow Dash's typical flirtation with other women.
"I would've gone to that party. I'm sure I'm more fun at parties anyway. It's not like Kelsey knows how to party like I do anyway," Rarity thought to herself.
Rarity didn't realize it, but the only reason for her jealousy, was because of her love for Rainbow Dash that she wouldn't even admit to herself.
Rarity stayed late that night. Business was slow after Rainbow Dash left with Kelsey. She thought all day about it. She couldn't help but be jealous that her best friend was always flirting with other women. Rarity felt like Rainbow Dash wouldn't even give her the time of day. Every time they hung out all Dash would give any attention to would be other women.
"Oh why is this bothering me so much? I really need to focus on these dresses, but I can't! I simply can't! I hate that stupid Kelsey bitch!" Rarity screamed as she slammed her hands on her desk.
The sun had almost completely gone down. Rarity's shop was half lit and gave off an eerie vibe. The window panes cast shadows that stretched across the whole store. In her hands, Rarity held an unfinished sketch of a wedding dress. A tear began to roll down her face as she whispered to herself, "All my life, all I've ever wanted was to be loved. Dash was right. I have no passion or romance in my life. The only person I've ever been involved with was Prince Blueblood and he obviously didn't love me like I loved him. I'll never find true love. I'll never get my happy fairytale ending."
All of the sudden, Rarity looked up. She looked stricken, she had an epiphany. "Opal! I've figured it out," Rarity excitedly said to her cat.
"I haven't wanted to admit it because I've been afraid, but my whole life, it's been Rainbow Dash that would be my Prince Charming."
The sun had finally set. The sky was a bluish purple. The horizon was outlined with a light pink that faded into the sky. Rarity's shop was dark. She turned on her desk light, and began designing a new dress. She looked confident this time. She finally felt that passionate inspiration that Rainbow Dash had told her about.
