Erica Montoro was a happy woman, she had a job at Arches National Park and on her off time was quite the rock climber. Currently she was climbing one of the many fins in the park to repair some damaged weather equipment, in her ears was a set of earbuds, on her belt was a can of bear mace. She was drenched in sweat and her uniform hung heavily on her well toned body which was, needless to say, Gorgeous. She had wonderful curves, wonderful breasts and most importantly. The Humility that should come with such features. Her firey red hair went perfectly with her fiery attitude and her eyes were green with gold flecks, they were covered by a pair of sunglasses.
“Hey Erica? You there yet?” her radio squawked, Erica groaned and halted her assent before taaking out her radio and speaking into it.
“No, Arthur I’m not there yet.” She said before a loud ruckus of laughter followed her statement. “Pervert.” She muttered before climbing the rest of the way to the top of the Fin. There was a small box with its contents ripped out. “Damn.” She muttered again. “Arthur, something ripped this thing apart.”
“Roger that Erica.” Arthur replied. “I’ll get a new thing up to you real soon, just sit tight.”
“It’s 102 degrees Arthur!” Erica protested but no response came. “DAMN IT!” She kicked the now destroyed weather device off the fin sending it to the ground with a crash. She peered over the edge and then lost her footing. With a scream she fell and waited to hit the ground....

Celestia and Luna were standing on the balcony with both their horns glowing, for the first time since Luna’s return there would be a full solar eclipse. ponies from all around Equestria were watching as the two Celestial bodies moved in perfect synchronization. Twilight was in her room with her friends enjoying the party and watching the sun and the moon do their dance when sh noticed something about her window. It had a large purple crystal that she had assumed was useless but as the two celestial bodies aligned it began to glow.
“Twilight? Darling what is it you are looking at?” Rarity asked, Twilight gave no response but kept staring at the now glowing crystal. The as the Moon and the Sun aligned the glowing grew more and more Prominent until finally Twilight Realised.
“ITS A PORTAL!” She shouted in excitement earning several startled gasps from within the room. “Oh Celestia I knew it! I knew it had to do something!” Twilight cheered ecstatically.
“What are you talking about darling?” Rarity said as the Portal Stabilized, she never got an answer as a loud scream filled the room and then a loud splash like something jumping out of water.

Erica felt cold floor rather than the hot sand of Utah, it had rushed up to meet her with immense force. So hard infact she had dislocated her shoulder, her head was aching as was her back and her legs. There was what felt like breathing on her face, fast like a dog or a coyote. She pulled one of her eyes open was assaulted by Pink.
“HI I’M PINKIE PIE!” The strange Pink Equine shouted.
“GAH!” Erica replied as she squirmed backwards, her body roared in protest but she ignored the pain and managed to get into a corner to see that she was not in the desert nor was she in heaven but rather a large bedroom with six Equines. “WHAT THE FUCK! IS THIS SOME SORT OF DREAM!”
“Please do calm down, I find it rather rude that you use such vulgar Language.” A Marshmallow one said.
“WHAT ARE YOU HUH! SOME SORT OF SPACE ALIEN! ARE YOU A SPY!” A Cyan one with rainbow Mane shouted n Erica’s face, she was met by the business end of a bottle of bear mace and just glared at Erca.
“S-S-S-Stay away F-F-F-From me!” She managed to get past the lump forming in her throat, the rainbow maned menace only leaned closer.
“RAINBOW DASH! DON’T BE A MEANY MEANY!” The Pink one shouted eliciting a yelp from Erica as she tightened her body into an almost fetal position.
“I S-S-S-Said Stay Away!” Erica shouted. “This isn’t real, none of this is real. You’re safe and sound in a hospital bed somewhere....yeah thats it.” She said to herself. “Just going to close my eyes and when I wake up I’ll be in the hospital safe and sound.”
“I think its broken...” The pink one said.
“Ah don’t know sugarcube, I hain’t seen notin like that before.” One wearing a hat said
“Umm girls....” A soft voice said.
“It’s obviously sentient, I wonder if it can cast spells or fly...” The lavender Alicorn said.
“GIRLS!” The soft voice was now very loud, all eyes fell on the butter colored pegasus while Erica was rocking back and forth muttering ‘just a dream’ “Um Maybe you’re scaring it?” The Butter Pegsus trotted over to Erica who immediately brought her can of bear mace to bear. “Its okay....I’m not going to hurt you, My names fluttershy, do you have a name?”
“E-E-Erica.” Erica stammered.
“Okay,thats a nice name, um this is Twilight.” Fluttershy pointed at the Lavender Alicorn. “Shes a friend of mine.” Erica looked at Twilight for a moment, her body still ached, to the point where she was near passing out from the exhaustion of not crying out. She felt like every single inch of her was on fire suddenly as the Alicorn’s horn flared.
“GAAAAAAH S-S-STOP!” Erica pleaded causing Twilight to wince and stop what ever she was doing. “Make it stop! Its hurting me!” As if to add insult to injury the door burst open to reveal a very armored and very angry guard.
“WHAT IS THAT THING!” The guard shouted pointing its spear at Erica causing her to curl up into a very tight ball.
“Nothing of your concern but stop pointing the spear at it, its terrified enough without you making it worse.” Twilight said, she looked at the other girls. “Go and get Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They will want to see this.” The girls nodded while Twilight and Fluttershy stayed behind, Erica was now quivering with each passing second as the invisible fire raged uncontrolably on her skin causing her to yell out in pain even louder. Twilight took her horn and placed it on Erica’s head before everything went black.

Twilight was standing with Celestia and Luna, watching the strange creature rest in a deep sleep. It was a shock to find that she had absolutely no magic in her body, which explained the pain she felt. If the magic was trying to rush into her body all at once, it would feel like dipping your hooves in oil and lighting them.
“What do you think it is?” Luna asked curiously.
“It looks like a mixture of an Ape and a Diamond Dog, yet it only has a mane and no other fur.” Celestia observed.
“I think it may be a she...” Twilight said, the other two alicorns looked at her. “Its voice isn’t deep, it had genitalia like that of a female though I can’t imagine what those large teets are for. Perhaps they are for feeding the young for extended periods of time, or for attracting a mate. But I do believe it is more respectful to refer to it as a she. She is sentient after all.”
“Very well then, but now we have to see what capabilities it has. If it’s dangerous to our little ponies it may have to be destroyed.” Luna said darkly, Celestia and Twilight looked at Luna with shocked expressions. “We cannot ignore the fact we have no idea how to proceed, do we allow it to roam freely, keep it prisoner, destroy it? We cannot ignore that possibility sister.”
“We are NOT destroying HER, It is sentient and it is scared. Obviously it isn’t going to try anything at the moment, what are the technological capabilities.” Celestia said trying to change the subject.
“Not that there was a lot on her person but from what I saw it is rather advanced.” Twilight said, she trotted over to a table and picked up a can marked ‘Bear Mace’ “We tested this can and found it contains pressurised gas and a type of foam that in none lethal but causes great pain if exposed to the face, eyes or skin.”
“Why would she be carrying these things?” Luna asked.
“Well from what we saw, her clothes seem to be a uniform of some kind. Covered in sand similar to the Marejave desert, and the badge she was wearing said Ranger. So I suspect some kind of Law Enforcement Official.”
“Where am I?” Erica suddenly said, her eyes were covered by a blindfold to ensure she wou;dn’t freak out upon seeing the Princesses. “WHY CAN’T I SEE!?”
“Be calm, you are only blindfolded.” Celestia said, Erica tried to move her arms but found they were strapped to the bed.
“WHAT IS THIS! WHERE AM I WHO ARE YOU!?” Erica shouted as she thrashed in the bed, the pain spell was starting to wear off but thankfully she had already endured the worst of it. The Magic absorption was complete so she would only feel a slight tingle when the spell wore off.
“Its alright, you’re in a hospital. We restrained you because you could have hurt yourself and the Blindfold....well did you have any strange dreams while you were out?” Celestia asked nervously.
“Yeah I was surrounded by talking ponies with wings and horns and I felt like I was on fire.” Erica said plainly, there was an awkward silence. “What? I say something wrong?”
“Uh, That wasn’t exactly a dream...” Twilight said rubbing a nervous hoof behind her neck.
“Bullshit.” Erica said plainly, the silence that followed will go down in history as the most awkward time period ever. Slowly the gears in Erica’s head started to turn, then they started to spin faster until only one phrase could come to her mouth. “This isn’t a dream?”
“No. No its not.” Luna said sensing the nervousness growing in the room.
“I think she was being rhetorical.” Twilight whispered, Luna’s eyes widened.
“Not....A....Dream?” Erica muttered. “THIS ISN’T A DREAM!” Erica thrashed about, the restraints kept her from ripping off the blindfolded and thus she was vulnerable. She felt a strange feeling of energy surge through her hands and as if by some miracle the restraints were off.
“Did she just...” Twilight asked, Celstia nodded.
“If she comes from a place where there is no magic and is now filled with the power of it, she could most likely become a very powerful mage if she was taught.” Celestia said looking at Erica who was struggling to get the other restraint undone, she felt the power run through her again and the restraint relented. She pulled her blindfold off and looked at the princesses, her mouth dropped wide open.
“Al-Al-Aliens...” Was all she could say, Celestia shook her head.
“No you see it is you who are the alien to us.” She explained,
“But we’re in some spaceship right, you just grabbed me from earth. Could you please send me back?” Erica asked hopefully, she justed wanted to get out of here, wherever here was.
“I am so sorry.” Celestia said sadly. “You are infact not on earth, and since you have been exposed to magic and we assume your world has none it would kill you.” Erica’s face dropped like a stone.
“No...No no no no no no no no NO!” She sputtered before looking at her self,she was now only dressed in a hospital gown that looked like it had been specially made. “YOU UNDRESSED ME!”
“Well yes, we had to examine you...” Celestia stopped mid sentence when she realised Erica was glaring daggers at her “To make sure you were healthy.”
“Is that all?” Erica growled, Celestia nodded. “How are you even talking? Ponies don’t have vocal chords.”
“We do, as you can see we are not like your planets species in many ways.” Twilight said, Meanwhile Luna was looking at Erica’s things. She picked up a small square with some wires attached.
“Is that my iPod?” Erica said turning her attention to Luna, the Princesses raised an eyebrow. “Never mind I’ll explain later. Can I have some time to myself....this is a lot to take in.” The Princesses nodded and left the room without a word. Erica sat up in bed and then put her hands over her face, she had ket her emotions bottled up during the discussion but now that the fact she couldn’t go home was setting in all she could do was cry and think of her family, what would they think happened to her?

“Twilight, she needs a place outside of the castle, you know how Blueblood gets.” Celstia said, Twilight nodded.
“She can stay with me, maybe she can help me with the library.” Twilight said happily, the princesses were walking to an observation room, the group looked through the window a Erica.
“Poor thing, I Hope she’s okay.” Celestia said concerned.
“It will be hard for her at first, but she will learn to accept it.” Luna said sadly. “One of the many things I learned from my stay on the moon.”
“Yes...And we should have more garments made for her.” Celestia said. “Something tells me she doesn’t like being naked.”
“I’ll tell rarity and the others about this, goodbye Princess.” Twilight said before turning and leaving, Celestia and luna just sat for a while and watched the woman beyond the two way mirror bawl her eyes out...
