//-------------------------------------------------------// Fluttershy's Father -by Zaroth123- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Fluttershy's Father //-------------------------------------------------------// Fluttershy's Father As Fluttershy walked in through the living room in her home n Cloudsdale, she saw her Earth Pony Father, Thunder Fist, rolling himself around in his wheelchair. He was a yellowish pony, his fur a bit darker then Fluttershy's, with a balding pink mane. Fluttershy always wondered how her father was able to live in Cloudsdale, him being an Earth Pony, but as he always used to say, his father was an earth pony and his mother was a Pegasus, so he can float on clouds. She walked past as her father was watching the Ponyvision, watching his sports with empty beer cans all around him, as he was laying in his old, dirty Lazy Colt recliner. The living room was a mess: potato chip crumbs were all over the carpet and floor and the carpet was dirty with beer stains all over it. A picture of a small purple Pegasus mare caring with small fillies and colts, all with wide smiles spread across there faces. She walked past him, into the closet, and pulled out the vacuum cleaner, intending to clean up the mess her father had made. As she walked past and onto the carpet, she obstructed his view. He calmly waited as she vacuumed in front of him, and heard a loud cheering when his team, the Mighty Manehattan Mares, got a goal. "Move out of the way, ya dumb bitch", he said, pushing her out of the way, knocking her to the ground. She picked up the vacuum cleaner and walked off. "If he doesn't want to be cleaned up after, he won't be", she thought as she went up to her room to read a book, like she did every day. She loved books. She thought books were wonderful. You could be sent into another universe with a book, and with a book you don't have to talk to those mean ponies. She stared at her towering bookcase, deciding what to read. She was running out of books, and decided she needed to go to the library to get the new book in her favorite series, Daring Do. She picked up her bit-purse, and went out the door, past her immobilized father. As she flew past the clouds, she saw the usual colts.
