"Sight Module is working fine... Okay... try moving around"
The robot ran around the large room and then took off into the air performing a variety of tricks.
"I never said test the flight module but it seems that it's working as well. Well then! Congratulations! You passed testing with flying colors! I have high hopes for you."
"Thank you your majesty..."
"Leave now, I will call you back later... I have something big in store... for you and the rest of my robots! Soon the time shall come.... soon..."
5/11/3072 10:35 AM Ponyville
It had been three days since Scootaloo had disappeared from Ponyville. The citizens of Ponyville were frantically searching but they had uncovered nothing after three days of nonstop searching. They had scoured practically scoured every inch of ground within Ponyville. Some ponies were beginning to give up, it seemed as though they would never find her. One such pony wasn't giving up, and that pony was Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash soared through the sky scanning the ground below. She frantically flew, looking under every bush and in every tree. She had not slept in three days, her mind wouldn't let her. She had tried on three separate occasions each resulting in her panicking and rocketing out of her bed right into a wall. It seemed that until Scootaloo was found that this mare wasn't going to get any sleep.
She looked down and saw Twilight dashing around, as she too was looking for the missing filly. Rainbow Dash made a sharp turn and descended, landing cleanly in front of Twilight."
"Twi-light" said Rainbow Dash, breathing heavily "Have you *Huff* seen anything *Huff*"
"No... not yet... And I've got more bad news...." said Twilight who was looking more crestfallen by the second.
"What? What's going on? What do you need to tell me?!" said Rainbow Dash who was beginning to panic.
"The mayor... she's calling off the search... I'm sorry Rainbow Dash..." said Twilight as tears began to run down her face
"What? Well we'll see about that!" said Rainbow Dash who rocketed away intent on forcing the mayor to change her mind
"Wait!
Rainbow Dash flew into the air and rocketed towards town hall. Instead of stopping in the conventional manner she instead slammed straight through the front door. Standing there was the shocked mayor of Ponyville.
"You! Your the one who's calling off the search huh?" said Rainbow Dash as she moved towards her "Well I don't I like that very much!"
"I'm sorry Rainbow Dash, but you have to face it... she's gone..." said the mayor
"No she isn't!" shouted Rainbow Dash "We are going to keep looking!"
"Rainbow Dash! I am not going to force my citizens to do this any longer!" said the mayor "They can't take it!"
"That's fine by me then!" shouted Rainbow Dash "I'll keep searching!"
With that Rainbow Dash rocketed out of the town hall.
"I'LL NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!" she shouted as she sped away
9/8/3072 3:03 AM The Residence of Rainbow Dash
It seemed as though Dash could keep her promise no longer. She was tired and weak, she couldn't sustain this lifestyle much longer. She had spent countless hours searching. She had not spoken to her friends in weeks, or anyone for that matter. It had taken a huge tole on her health. She was practically starving and sleep deprivation had taken a huge tole on her thinking skills. Rainbow knew she had to stop... she couldn't do this anymore...
Have I wasted all this time... did I make the wrong choice...
That day was filled with extreme self doubt. She searched as she normally did but yet she didn't have her heart in it anymore. Rainbow Dash, who said she would never give up, was finally losing hope.
No! I won't give in!
She began to increase her speed. She sped faster and faster, as if trying to escape her troubles, or maybe she was just panicking. Finally she reached the speed necessary to perform a sonic rainboom. As the colors erupted from thin air she began to plummet out of the sky.Her body had finally failed on her... With a sickening crash she slammed into the side of Applejack's barn and instantly blacked out.
9/8/3072 8:45 AM Ponyville Hospital
Rainbow Dash's still form suddenly bolted upright.
"What? What happened... where am I?" muttered Rainbow Dash
"You're at the hospital sugarcube!" said Applejack "You ran right into my barn, we brought you here as quickly as we could!"
"Applejack... why can't I feel my wings?!" said Rainbow Dash who was once again panicking "Applejack! WHERE ARE THEY!!!"
"Umm.... that might be a hard one to explain..." said Applejack
Rainbow Dash slowly turned around and took a look at her wingless back.
"AUGH!!!!!!" screamed Rainbow Dash "MY WINGS! WHERE ARE THEY!!!
"Your wings were mutilated in the crash.." said Applejack as a tear ran down her cheek "They had to remove them... I'm so so sorry Rainbow Dash..."
With that Rainbow Dash collapsed on the floor and sobbed. It was her wings after all, the wings that let this pony fly. And we all know how important flying is to Rainbow Dash. Applejack tried to get Rainbow to stop crying but after two hours she finally just gave up. Applejack trotted back into the hallway.
"So..." said Twilight "How did she take the news?"
"Pretty badly..." muttered Applejack
"Well that doesn't matter now!" said Twilight enthusiastically
"Umm.... what are you talking about..." said Applejack who was utterly confused
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Celestia has wings for Rainbow Dash! She'll be able to fly again!" said Twilight excitedly
"Really?" said Applejack as she began to smile "Where is she getting these wings from?"
"I don't know! It doesn't really matter I guess." said Twilight "Quick! Lets tell Rainbow Dash!"
They burst through the door of Rainbow Dash's room to see Rainbow Dash still curled up in a ball on the floor.
"Guess what Rainbow!" said Twilight "You'll be able to fly again!"
"Ha ha, very funny Twilight" said Rainbow Dash dejectedly "Already making fun of me... so that's how it is...."
"No! I'm serious! Celestia told me she could get you new wings!" said Twilight
"Celestia said that? Well then she must be telling the truth! That is AWESOME!" said Rainbow Dash as she began dashing around the room in excitement
"You just need to be in Canterlot tomorrow!" said Twilight "She said that she'll meet you at her palace."
"OhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygoshOhmygosh!"

"This is perfect! Soon the greatest flier in all of Equestria will be under my control! All thanks to you Test Subject 01764. And guess what? You'll get to see you're old mentor again! Isn't that special! Not that you remember anything about your old life, but still!"
"Your plan is perfect your majesty, it cannot fail. Haha haha haha haha"
"Bwahahahahaha!"
Welcome to Your Worst Nightmare
9/9/3072 10:00 AM Royal Castle, Canterlot
Rainbow's footsteps echoed off the walls of the massive hallway as she walked slowly towards the royal throne room. She was ready for whatever she had to do, she was ready to get her wings back, her life back. She would do anything for it. As she walked down the hallway she noticed someone walking towards her, a pony much larger than her... with long flowing, multicolored hair...
"Princess?" asked Rainbow Dash as the pony approached.
"Why hello Rainbow Dash! Twilight sent you, yes?" said Celestia as she came to a stop in front of Rainbow
"Yeah! She sure did! She said you could get me these" Rainbow nodded to where her wings were "back."
"Let's get right on that! This way please!" said Celestia as she walked towards the door on their right.
Rainbow followed into the darkness of the hallway. This next hallway was dark, almost pitch black, and very narrow. They continued out of the hallway into a large room, still under the shroud of darkness. Celestia stopped and turned around...
"Lights please!" she shouted gleefully as the large overhead florescent lights snapped on. The light revealed a lab full of strange devices, machines, and the strangest thing... robots... lots and lots of robots...
'Princess? What's going on?" said Rainbow who was quite frankly a little bit frightened.
"Guards!" she shouted as two robots stepped out of the crowd. "Seize her!"
The guards quickly dashed over, pinning Rainbow Dash onto the ground with their steel hooves.
"What is this!?" shouted Rainbow Dash, looking up at the Princess
"Welcome to your worst nightmare Rainbow Dash!" said Celestia "Welcome to place your life ends, and a new, upgraded, superior life begins... welcome to AliCorp Rainbow Dash!
Rainbow Dash struggled against the robots but too no avail. She slumped over panting.
"Let-Let me go..." whimpered Rainbow Dash
"Sorry Rainbow but I don't think I can do that" said Celestia "You see Rainbow, I need you! Who better to lead my robot army than the element of loyalty herself!"
"Lead? Robot Army?" Rainbow Dash yelled "And why would I do that?"
"Because you'll have no choice darling..." said Celestia "Your mine now, and I'll do whatever I want..."
"But you can't... YOU CAN'T" screamed Rainbow Dash
"Oh but I can! Soon you will be my cyborg! Soon you will be the most powerful pony in all of Equestria!" shouted Celestia
Rainbow Dash struggled again to escape, straining against the metal hooves of her captors, but once again failed.
"Well Rainbow, this is goodbye." said Celestia as she walked out of the room "Enjoy your new life. HAHAHA!"
"No.....NO!!!!!" Rainbow Dash shouted as the guards pinned her to a table and a team of robots surrounded her, carrying all kinds of medical equipment.
"Sedatives please..." said one of the robots
Another robot handed her a small syringe.
"No you can't! NO!" shouted Rainbow Dash as she thrashed around on the table.
The guards held her down and the robot plunged the syringe into her leg.
Rainbow's thrashing slowed and then ceased as the sedatives quickly did their work.
"Goodbye friends." she whispered as a final tear ran down her cheek "Goodbye Rainbow Dash"
9/11/3072 10:00 PM Somewhere below Canterlot Castle
Rainbow Dash, or what used to be Rainbow Dash, rose from the darkness in a dank, dimly lit room. The only light source was from a flickering light bulb attached to the wall on the far side of the room, away from the door. She rose, supporting herself by placing her hooves against the wall. Her knees where a bit wobbly, but that is to be expected, after all, being turned into a cyborg isn't exactly easy on the body. As her shiny new chrome plating and brass gears rose you could hear them groaning and creeping, twisting and turning, like one of those old fortune telling automatons you used to see at the local carnival.
She finally got on her hooves, her knees still shaking ever so slightly. She adjusted her eye, making the metallic whirring sound you would expect as she focused in on the door. No sound was emitting from outside nor, as far as she could tell, any light. She paced around slowly, still trying to get the feel for her new, cyborg hooves. She sauntered slowly over to the door and pulled meekly on the handle but, as was to be expected, the door didn't budge. She tugged again at the old, metal handle, with even more force than last time. Still the door would not move. She tried again and again and again until finally...
WHIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRR
She felt her vision her lock on, her reflexes heighten, and strength surge through her. She turned and slammed into the door with a force and ferocity only a pony turned machine could have The door flew outwards, slamming into the opposite wall, snapping it in two and sending up a cloud of dust. She pushed herself to her hooves, her adrenaline still pumping. She started sprinting down the hall at top-speed... that is until she remembered....
"Wings..."
She peered behind her and was met with an astounding sight, Out of her back jutted a pair of huge, metal wings which clanked and groaned with their many small gears. They felt strong, they felt stronger than her old wings, even when they were in top, performing condition. She began to flap her new wings, slowly at first, making a nice woosh noise. The she started flapping them faster and faster until it was like a pair of insect wings on her, moving faster than you could even see. She smiled, grinning at that taste in her mouth, she could feel it, she could feel the speed.
Faster and faster she raced down the hallway, kicking up dust and tearing up pieces of the tiled floor. \ As she approached the end of the hallway she began to notice an all to familiar cone.
"Hear we go!"
The cone grew more and more narrow with each passing second, coming closer and closer to that perfect angle when suddenly
BOOM
She reached the end of the hallway and smashed through the wall, a magnificent Rainbow trailing behind her. As the dust settled she noticed the team of scientists standing around in awe and terror at the cyborg who had just opened a hole in their reinforced, steel walls.
"Oh Bravo Ms. Dash Bravo!"
"You..." Rainbow whispered
"Oh, it's me alright" Celestia said "And it looks like we had a slight... error... in removing your memory..."
"Sorry Princess, it seems that I made a slight miscalculation in the equation and I f-" one of the scientist said before being abruptly cut off by an arching beam of magic.
"AUGGH!" the scientist screamed "PRINCESS! HELP ME! OH GOD IT HURTS! IT HURTS!"
"THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR FAILING ME" Celestia shouted
The scientist continued to scream, writhing in pain upon the tile floor of the lab. He started foaming at the mouth and coughing up blood until finally, after one final piercing scream, his back arched and his eyes went dark.
"That should be a lesson to you all" Celestia said "Now get to work removing Ms. Dash's memory, for good this time"
"Yes, your highness!"
A team of highly armed security personal walked up and two of them began dragging her over to the medical table by her wings.
"Hey! Let go! LET GO!" Rainbow shouted
"Sorry Ma'am, Princess' orders..." one of the guards said in a monotone voice
They threw her onto the table where a team of scientists immediately surrounded her.
"Lets sedate her more quickly this time, don't want her struggling like last time" one of the scientists said.
"Here's the syringe Doc" one of the other ponies said, handing her a large syringe
Wasting no time the Scientist tapped the glass a few times and then plunged it into Rainbows arm.
"Not again..." Rainbow said, barely audible "Oh god... not again..."
