Starswirl and the Doctor
Starswirls Discovery
Load Full StoryNext ChapterThe stars twinkled in the sky as brightly as fire. Ah, Starswirl loved her job, just watching the stars and getting paid a very nice salary. 200 bits a months is nothing to scoff at! Not to mention free housing on prime Canterlot land, and free coffee! It's very expensive these days in Canterlot.
She picked up her fifth coffee cup of the night and slurped it up. It was three in the morning, and she was falling asleep at the telescope. She was itching to go home and sleep, but she ignored that feeling, looked into the telescope and gulped down the last of her cappuccino. However fun her job could be, hours were crazy in the summer with less viewing time. She was lucky to get six hours of rest. Starswirl spent every waking hour examining stars and looking for prophisises and meteors. It was a demanding job, but in Starswirls eyes, was quite worth it.
Eyes drooping over dark circles looked into the telescope. Her main priority right now was to look for prophisises; Celestial was had been very paranoid after four villains had almost taken over. Starswirl could hardley blame her for that, but that didn't stop her from complaining about her boss. She was about to write "Nothing of interest," in the star journal, but then she saw something strange. Starswirl, intrigued, got a closer look. There, plummeting through the sky, was a blue box.
