7 Hours earlier

"Man this heavy."Griffin says as he carry a ammo crate

"Well Griffin , we need all the ammo we can get on the Blackhawk  just in case if anyone attacks during the Grand Galloping Gala."

"Why do you name a event that?"

"Well I know that a Gala is a dance so.. I guess they used to gallop to the party."

" Whatever it is,Griffin says as he loads the ammo crate, I really don't wanna know."

"Alright gentlemen." John says as he walks out of their building.

*He places down a map of canterlot*

"Alright Anderson, I've secured permission for you to provide cover fire form the palace.

"Cooper your flying the copter for air support and to scare the shit out of anyone that try's to attack.

" Griffin, your on me." He turns and walks toward the copter. Cooper gets in the pilots seat. Anderson in the co-pilot, ans John and Griffin in the troop bay.

All that could be heard on the ride to canterlot was the sound of the rotors.

"I'm gonna play some music." Copper said as he slid a disk into the CD player.

Anderson turns and looks at John.

"Well this looks like something easy to guard.Griffin says as he walks off the copter.

Well John here we are doing you job guarding multiple ponies. Couldn't you just stay to shooting terrorists that want to set the world on fire.

They a complete black helacopter talk off form it's waiting place at canterlot castle and fly straight toward thier position. The blakchawk gets ready to land, kicking up dirt and leaves coming down before it touches the ground like a feather.

"Well you love showing off don't you cooper."

"Well you know back home the Blackhawk can do anything from weapons platform to troop drop off to medic copter."

"Yea,yea,yeah i know."

"Well boss, do you expect her to know. He motions to her. They live in a place without flying machines so.....

"Alright Alright cooper i get it."

"Anyway Spitfire, hahah that's ironic."

"What?"Spitfire says looks quite strange at John.

"Your name is spitfire. The mini guns on the Blackhawk spit fire." He says as he walks beside the Minguns and hellfire missiles.

"Maybe some other time when were not on duty."

He looks as he says this and notices a rather strange stallion mainly keeping to himself over near the .

The helacopter slowely takes off before gaining speed and heading back to its makeshift landing pad.

"Well you guys are an interesting bunch, what are you doing at a event like this?"

"Guarding the princess and making sure nothing happens."

An explosion knocks John off his feet throwing him multiple feet knocking him out.

He opens his eyes looking into orangish eyes.

"What the hell?"

"Terrorist pony just exploded a bomb."

"We'll they have another thing coming."

In the mass chaos a beacon of hope, John stands up and he aims his M4A1 at the terrorists and begins firing adding even more chaos and confusion. A terrorists aims his crossbow at John but has his face explode into a thousand pieces.

'Thanks Anderson.'

'No Problem.'

"Alright no to the real problem." He says as he activates his mic.

'Griffin find the princess and protect her, I'm after the terrorists."

'Actually I think their moving toward the princess as we speak.'

'Copper we need you to get into the sky and begin firing at the terrorists.'

'Sir Yes Sir.'

John begins running though the chaotic crowds missing ponies and hitting a few all while firing at the terrorists who return fire forcing John to take cover. John throws a grenade at the terrorists to try to get them but he misses and a explosion is seen.

"Dammit." He slides into a wall of a fountain.

'Anderson I need to you hit some of these guys so I can move.'

Three .50 BMG rounds are heard. After a second of flying,three pony heads explode while the body slumps to the ground

John gets up cautious, looking around for anymore terrorists . He notices Griffin behind cover he also sees princess Celestia hiding with him.

"That's nice." He says before preping himself

"LEYROY JENKINS!"he shouts.

John runs straight at griffin's cover not caring about the terrorists shooting at him while Griffin and Anderson cover him.

"Hey John long time no see." He says as John jumped over his cover.

"Get down!" John says as they get down while bolts fly all around them."

A terrorist explodes and catches on fire throwing fire guts every where allowing Cooper to see who were bad guys as the Blackhawk's guns began firing spitting fire.

"Well."Spitfire said watching the whole ironic scene going down.

"I guess that's why he questioned the whole best performance team in equestia thing."

"Alright princess follow us." John says as they get up and he motions the princess to follow them.

They move though the destroyed courtyard passing dead bodies and destroyed fountains

"Princess did you know of anyone that was important at this party. John says as he looks around.

"Well prince Blueblood was here. I think the terrorists won't even go near him."

"Alright anyone else." He says as they round a corner.

"Spitfires following us."

He looks back noticing spitfire following them.

She waves back.

"Ok anyone other than her."

"Twilight."

"Well... Wait Twilight Twilight."

"Who else?"

"I though there might be another Twilight"

"Catch ya later, Copper be ready." He says as he begins to turn around. "Griffin get the princess to the palace."

He begins to quickly run trying to find Twilight.

Of fucking course twilight is the one who is captured or hurt somewhere.

He heard a kinda soft almost inexistent.

"Help me."

It was barely audible but he knew who had said it.

"Twilight."

He began sprinting becouse he knew she was almost dead.

He found her with a crossbow bolt lodged near her neck.

"Freeze bitch!"

Fifteen terrorist ponies surround John and the nearly dead twilight.

'Cooper anytime now.'

"What was that!?"

"I said ANY FUCKING TIME COOPER!!!!'

The Blackhawk flies over the courtyard firing at the terrorists scattering them all while killing them. Cooper flies the Blackhawk  over Johns head while all the while shooting.

'You know Cooper can I tell you something? She almost fucking dead!'

"Alright."

Cooper brings the bird down while shooting. John climbs on while holding twilight getting into a comfortable position in the cabin.

"Where to boss?"

"A hospital would be nice."

"Right a hospital." 'Hey griffin can you ask the princess what a hospital looks like?'

'It's white and has a Red Cross on it.' He responds.

'Well smartass if the boss kicks your ass not my fault.'

'Fine.'

'They look almost the same here as they do on earth just more white.'

'Thanks Griffin.' Cooper turns the helicopter toward the biggest white building in canterlot, not including the castle.

The blackhawk lands at the hospital. John runs into the hospital.

"What's her problem?"

"She's almost fucking dead."

"Right this way sir."

The doctor gallops in front of the sprinting John. John nearly runs faster than the doctor onward the emergency room.

One week later.

"Where am I?"

"Your in the hospital, your friend I suppose but savior. Who hasn't told us his name yet, ran you here before you died. We operated on you saved your life and today is the first day that you haven't been on meds.

Twilight looks to her left seeing a sleeping John in his full and bloody combat gear along with his guns.

"You rescued me?"

"Yeah."

John said without even moving and not giving any mention that he was awake.

"Even though I'm this badass soldier doesn't mean I can't save someone whose gonna die everyone in awhile."

"Actually I believe you saved more people than you think John."

John sat up looking at Celestia and Luna followed by his men, spitfire and miscellaneous ponies.

"You saved more than you think, I know you risked life and limb for twilight but you rescued every single one of us but Luna.

Luna. Celestia turns to look at Luna.

"Have you ever noticed that you never get involved with anything like this?"

"Nnope."

"Anyway we're all just happy you saved us, so we threw you a party."

"A PARTY!!!!!!!"

A pink pony appeared out of no where, and began throwing confetti every where.

"Pinkie you know this isn't a party situation."

Twilight said beginning to try to get out of bed.

Well I think we're all done here, but I want to have a word with John."

John gets up following Celestia to the balcony while everyone else talks.

"That was a rather heroic thing you did there John."

"Well Celestia it's what SEALS do. It's kinda our job."

"Yea but that was outside the normal. Saving me was heroic but you saved twilight. Why was that?"

"I guess..... It was kinda because I thought I owed her. I know you heard about the train. I said some pretty bad things on the train. She took it rather bad, and I'm not the best at apologizing. Since I did that I deiced that since she was shown all the bad things I could do I thought I should show her a good side, and rescue most of the Grand Galloping Gala and save her life."

"Are you sure there's nothing more than friendship."

"I mean really, no like no. I doubt that's even possible if it went further."

He turns back and looks at twilight mingling with the people.

"I just thought it was the right thing to do the best thing to do."

"Well I want you to be the first to know that we have almost discovered who payed them to do it. We think its the griffins but we could always be wrong."

"I would say we could go as diplomats, but sending soldiers as diplomats is technically a  act of war. I mean if war happens we kill take out their king or prince without any

casualties for my men but there could be a few for Equestia or the Griffin empire.

"Well nice talk with you captain."

Celestia turns and walks away.

Could what she said really happen? I mean me and twilight it could be possible but aww fuck no.

"So watcha thinking about?"

Twilight walks out onto the balcony.

"Nothing much just about what's happening in the last week and a day."

"What did happen while I was out?"

"After they got the bolt out you mainly slept. Walking up every once in awhile to eat or use the restroom."

"Then why did you stay?"

Mainly because I wanted to see if the person I saved would live. I mean it's awesome to see the one you went life and limb to save live. Most of the time when we kill someone like Faruk Al-Bashir, we just hear about what we save we actually never get to see. And saving you was the first time I got to see someone I saved nearly die then live. I guess it showed me the importance of a life.
