Twilight shivered with pleasure as the succulent strip of meat slid past her taste buds, she was surrounded on all sides by the delectable substance, piled high into a mountain of flavorful goodness.
This was her dream, her own guilty pleasure, but every time she tried to truly savor what she loved most she woke up painting in a cold sweat. Twilight wasn't new to this. It was a dream she had been having every night since coming from the human world, well not every night. Some times it was Stake or chicken but the bacon dream was the most common. She felt so wrong, so dirty, that she had kept the secret from everyone. She had even got an enchanted dream catcher so Princess Luna could not look into her dreams.
“It just not fair” She thought to herself. “Why did I let Roxxy convince me to try the local human cuisine, AND WHY WAS IT SO GOOD?” Finally she rolled over and looked at her alarm clock. It looked like it was about ten minuets until she had to get up anyway so she rolled out of bed and as her hooves hit the floor she used her magic to open the curtains. She squinted as the newly risen sun stung briefly in her eyes. She briefly considered waking up spike as usual but since she was waking up early she decided to let sleeping dragons lie, for now at least.
Twilight had a schedule she followed every morning. she brushed her mane, took a shower, ate a quick breakfast of Hay FlakesTM and brushed her teeth afterward. However as she was doing this she was thinking about her first encounter with meat, the memory of the cafeteria fresh in her mind. Endless chicken steak and bacon free to every student enrolled, egged on by human versions of her friends (except Faith, she was a vegan) She took a bite of meat and there was no going back.
As she finished up her morning ritual she checked her checklist for the day, but she already knew what was on it. The apple family where having a barn raising today and she was finally able to go to one. she had cleared her schedule just to go because she felt she needed to spend more time with her friends. They would all be there Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and even Rarity. She left spike a note explaining where she was going and what chores she expected him to do and went out the door.
The Apple family barn raising Hadn't started yet but Twilight liked being early, partly because it gave her time to collect her thoughts but mostly because she hated being late. Apple jack had just finished her breakfast when Twilight arrived. Twilight saw apple jack as the orange mare trotted towards her.
"Howdy Twi, you sure are early today," She said.
"Yes, I woke up early so I decided to leave Spike a note and get an early start."
"Well alrighty then, But the barn raisin don't start till about an hour or so from now. Do you think you can wait While i do my mornin chores." She said with an Ernest smile.
"Oh, Why don't I help." said Twilight .
"Well a guess you can help me give little Piggington a bath."
Twilight froze,"P- Piggington?"
"Yes, I bought her from a gryphon family that was going to cook her up and eat her, Isn't that just awful?"
"Um Y-Yeah" Twilight started to sweat.
"Well shes right this way" Applejack continued oblivious to Twilight's thoughts.
They turned a corner to find the largest pig Twilight Sparkle had ever seen.
Well large would have been too nice. That Pig was FAT.
That pig was so fat her BMI is measured in acres. That pig was so fat that if she went to the movies she would have sat next
to everyone. That pig was so fat her waist size is equator!
That pig was so.. Well you get the point.
Twilight's mouth watered at the sight of all that glorious pig flesh covered in mud as if it where covered in gravy. the pigs eyes where hidden under mounds of succulent flesh. That pig has enough bacon to last for monthsHer eyes watered at the thought and her body began to tremble and shake at the concept of months of bacon.
It was then that applejack noticed her friends condition.
"You alright sugar cube you look like your coming down with something fierce"
"U-Um no..." Just then twilight had an idea. A plan so cunning and so devious and so brilliant she had to return home to finalize it
"um actually yeah i am feeling a little under the weather"
"Well shoot ahm awful sorry about that Twi, Do you need to go home And get so-"
"YES I NEED TO GO HOME" twilight interrupted
"Uh Ok Get well soon i guess." Apple jack said slightly confused.
Twilight quickly flew away looking to get rid of her bacon fever.
And there was only one cure.

So be honest this is my first fic how am i doing so far?
I'll continue this if people want me to but if i cancel it feel free to take it from me.
As Twilight flew back to the library she remembered the first time she had the succulent delicious treat that was bacon.
She went into the school cafeteria for breakfast after having slept in the library and taken a shower in the school locker room she mentally kicked herself for not bringing any bits with her as she could have rented a hotel room if she had sold the gold in exchange for American money.
She took a seat next to rainbow dash and Fluter- I mean Roxxy and Faith She was still getting used to the fact that she was now friends with her pony friends human duplicates. It was also a little weird Lying to them and convincing them she was a foreign exchange student from Canada. She had gone through the line and picked up some toast and some Eggs not really knowing what the rest of it was.
"Whoa hold up", Rainb- Roxxy said to her. "How could you not have bacon with eggs?"
"Bacon?" Twilight asked
"Yeah Good old American bacon not that crappy Canadian bacon like you're used to, Twi."
"Um"
"Here Try some" Roxxy said as she shoved a strip of what looked to be sunset shimmers hair into her mouth.
"Rothy i mont..." she said with her mouth full before her taste buds registered the glory they had come in contact with.
Her mouth exploded with flavor as her irises opened wide as if they too wanted to taste all of the strips of joy that entered twilight mouth.She hadn't read all that much on human mythology but if their was a heaven she was in it.She looked again at roxxy as a giant smile spread across her face she swallowed and said to herself.
"Where have you been all my life?"
