The wind whistled on the outskirts of the city. In the hospital many young infants cried, but one in particular had everyone staring. A young pegasus colt slept soundly in his crib, smiling happily. His mane and tail were a bright orange and yellow and his coat was a brilliant shade of red. He looks like he was made of fire everyone thought. Even more amazing, he was born to a earth pony and a unicorn. The father stared in disbelief as the mother softly stroked his mane. Every now and then his little wings would flap and he was giggle. He opened his eyes and revealed them to be a lime green. A young unicorn, a colt as well, sat in the crib next to him, smiling as well. "Mrs. Script, Mr. Hoof, I'm afraid it's time to decide." the young blue nurse walked in, her horn sparkling as she held up to blue blankets, a small medallion hanging from her neck in the shape of a medical cross. The two parents sighed and the mother cried softly, her own pencil shaped medallion shaking as she sat down.

The nurse walked to the two young colts, first carefully picking up the young pegasus. She picked up the unicorn, smothering him and ruffling his gray and red tipped mane. He pushed his small head through the blue ruffled blanket, his brown coat getting pulled as a result. He shuck his head and slowly opened his light blue eyes. They were carried into a small room marked employees only. The unicorn laid the two colts on a scale. The pegasus weighed much more than the unicorn. She carefully picked up the pegasus once more as she motioned a yellow stallion to pick up the unicorn. The yellow colt picked up the unicorn and dropped the blanket.

"Here is your son" The unicorn nurse said as she handed a little blue buddle over to the mother. "Th-thank you." The mother studdered as she wiped the tears away. The nurse walked back to the room, the parents walked out of hospital with the young red pegasus and the yellow stallion walked out to the everfree forest.
