Spike and Twilight have a strong friendship, more so than any of her other friends. They have been with each other since she hatched him as a young filly.

Now, Twilight is an Alicorn, thinking about all of what her friends have done to bring her where she is now, and when Spike crosses her mind, she thinks back to when they first got to know each other—when an amazing friendship started between unicorn and baby dragon. She soon realizes just how much he meant to her.
