Chapter 4: Survival

It was time for the Cutie Mark Crusaders to get their cutie marks. Only one mare could help them do this. She led them deep into the Everfree forest, preaching how the answer to all their cutie mark questions is there. They fell into a deep pit, and there was a steel grid placed on it, so there was no way they could escape. This pony told them how nopony would ever come out here, and that she would return in a few days for only one of them. They would have to fight to the death, and the survivor would go free.

For the first day, they were talking of ways to escape, but they could think of nothing that would work. By the end of the day, they were all arguing angrily at each other, and blaming each other for their fate. On the second day, they were all panicing and growing paranoid. Nopony could trust any of the other phillies. Each one was afraid the others would kill her. No one spoke o the third day. They all just sat there watching each other, with hatred growing in them. Halfway through the fourth day, it all just happened suddenly.

They all started fighting each other. Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo were bucking and punching each other hard. Applebloom was the first to draw blood, and then she punched Scootaloo in the head, giving her a concoction. Sweetie Bell then slammed Applebloom into the walls, and then bit off one of Scootaloos wings. Applebloom then punched one of her eyes out. It was at this moment that they got their cutie marks, but they were too busy fighting to realize what they were. Applebloom got a dead and hollowed out apple tree with rotting apples. Sweetie Bell got a symbol of greed with bloody daggers on the side of it. Scootaloo got a pony skull for a cutie mark. It was then that Applebloom stomped on Scootaloo’s head repeatedly until it was bashed in, and parts of her brain were coming out of her eyes and ears, as well as the dents in her skull. Then, Sweetie Bell jabbed her in the lungs with her horn, and as she was pulling it out, Applebloom punched her in the face and then brought her to the ground and put her hooves over her neck until she was choked out. Right after that, she coughed up blood and the puncture in her lung had caused her to die. It was just a few minutes later that the twisted mare came to find their three dead bodies.
