July 2014, 10:24 am, over the Atlantic ocean

It was a clear and beautiful day over the Atlantic. The ocean was calm, and there were only a few small clouds to be seen.

two CF-18's were breaking the silence of the endless ocean, followed by two F/A-18's. They were basically the same aircraft, but with the exceptions of a few modifications. The four jet fighters were roaring their engines, as they come closer to each other, to form a diamond shape formation. Over them was a huge C-17 Globemaster III military cargo plane.

"Hey, do you guys eat moose burgers?" One of the F/A-18 pilot asked to the two CF pilots, who were clearly annoyed by the stereotypical questions."Is that true that you guys ride polar bears? And live in igloos?"

The pilot wanted to ask another question, but his wingman intervened before he could say another word.

"Alright Stevenson, I think they had enough."

"Oh shut up Clark, they are totally eager to answer my questions so if you will excuse me."

Stevenson tilted his jet fighter to the right, and moved forward next to one of the CF-18."Do you have a pet beaver named Maple?"

"OK! Now it's my turn" One of the CF pilots said, as he moved his jet right next to the (question maker).

"Williams please, don't.." His wing men pleaded, but it was too late.

"So, Your name's Stevenson right?" Williams asked.

"Henry, Henry Stevenson, at your service Eh!? friend." Stevenson answered, with a tone worthy of a spy movie.

"So Henry..." Christopher paused, "Is it true that your country has a pretty large debt?"

"Well.." Henry wanted to reply but he was caught off guard by another question.

"Is it true that most Americans or should I say United-Statians, eat big-macs for breakfast?"

"um, I'm not sure if..."

"Is it true that most of your people are fat? Weird because I see no fat on you... You must have been born differently."

That question did it, the two pilots began arguing and were throwing insults at each other. The two others could only watch the scene, and hope it would stop soon.

Forty minutes later-

"Alright, Stevenson, Williams..." Clark interjected. "Can you guys not kill each other today?."

"Well If he!..." Williams wanted to continue but something strange got his attention.

"Williams?" His wing men said, concerned about the sudden silence.

"Do you see that Hopkins?"

"See what?"

"The huge storm." He said

"What storm?" His wing men asked with a bit of a laugh.

"Right in front of you moron!" Williams said, clearly annoyed by the lack of attention his wing men showed.

"Yeah, so what?" Hopkins answered with an eyebrow raised, hidden by his mask.

"Wasn't it supposed to be a clear out today?"

"Well it's kind of normal to have unpredictable storms over the Atlantic."

"Ya, but do you see the size of this monster!?" Williams asked with wide eyes.

This time, Hopkins couldn't say anything. It was true, that thing was huge. It was so big that they can't even see the end of it.

Silence reigned as they slowly approach the huge formation. The sound of thunder could be heard, lighting could be seen as they come closer and closer.

"I don't know guys." Williams said."That shit looks pretty dangerous."

"Ah! Pussy." Stevenson thrown

"Well It is a Big Black Huge Storm with thunder and lightning."

"Looks like a normal storm for me..." Added Clark.

"Can we pass by?" Williams asked. who was nervous to get inside.

"Negative, that thing is huge, it would take a considerable amount of fuel to even get over that monster." Clark replied as he tries to see the end of the odd formation.

With that said, Hopkins put on the communication radio and started to talk.

"Globemaster 1, this is Dagger-1."

"Dagger-1, this is Globemaster 1, what's the problem. Over"

"We wanted to ask if you got the meteorological report? Over"

"Affirmative, we've got them, they say It's only a micro storm, and only a few disturbance zones. Over."

"You guys are sure it's nothing else than that. Over?"

"Affirmative Dagger-1, nothing else."

Hopkins sighed. "Alright thanks for your time"

"No problem Dagger-1, see ya at Paris airport. Globemaster Out."

Hopkins then looked at the clouds in amazement. He saw Globemaster pass through like it was nothing but butter.

"Well, guess we have no choice." Hopkins replied. "Globemaster 1 is already in."

They followed the plane in the storm, and soon got in the darkness of the strange meteorological formation. Only the bright flash of lightnings could be seen. The sound of the thunder was loud enough to block the sound of the engines, as they passed through.

"Hold on tight guys, we gonna pass through a disturbance zone." Hopkins said with a warning tone.

Almost as soon as he said that, the jet fighters started shaking violently. they could hear the creaking sounds of metal being knocked about.

"Shit, That's a disturbance zone for you!?" Williams asked with a surprised tone. "It's like

being on top of my mom's washer!"

"Calm down" Clark added. "These kind of disturbance only last a couple of seconds."

"Well I just hope we get out of this soo-"

Suddenly, a bright flash followed by a huge booming sound, blinded everyone. Without warning, Williams jet dangerously tilted to the right, missing Stevenson by just a few feet.

Stevenson narrowly avoided the incoming jet, and turned his gaze to look at the jet fighter who was now facing downward.

"Williams you moron, what are you doing!? You're going to get yourself killed!" Clark shouted, not amused at all.

" I can't control it, engine one and two are down, and...." He paused, "Holy shit my right wing is on fire!"

Clark focused his sight on the jet fighter, who was indeed on fire.

"Eject now!" Hopkins shouted, hoping for a parachute to come out.

Williams quickly pulled the lever under is seat, but instead of being thrown into the air, only a creaking sound came out.

"Shit, it's jammed!!" Williams shouted out loud.

Still going down, Williams started to panic.

"Will!...." That's all he could hear from the radio as the sound of interference came.

"Damn, I lost contact." He said in his head, as he desperately tried to pull his plane back upwards.

Now only the warning sound in the cockpit and his heart beats could be heard. As he made his way out of the gloomy storm cloud, sweat started to form on his forehead. Stress and fear quickly invaded his body as he could see his altitude quickly counting down. The darkness of the storm was slowly fading away, and Williams could see light appear in front of him.

He knew he was going to be dead soon. Perhaps, he would crash in the cold water of the Atlantic. He was going to either drown or die on contact with the ocean below. Not the end he had hoped for in his life, but nobody really chooses these things for themselves anyway. He thought of his time in the RCAF and how he had wanted to go so far. As he got closer to what he assumed was the murky water below, he let go of the wheel. He gave one last salute and spoke boldly.

"Goodbye fair world, it has been an honor serving with you..."

The plane disappeared from the sky.

Williams looked out his window one last time. The ocean looked so... green... Green!? Williams grabbed his steering wheel again, he twisted it as hard as he could upwards.

Everything went black...

Ponyville Square, 12:32 pm:

Twilight, Fluttershy, and Rarity were enjoying a bright and sunny day at Ponyville Square. Puddles were everywhere around Town this day. Ponies all around Ponyville were talking about the massive storm from last night. Nopony had actually given a warning, and nopony had admitted to causing it either. Conversation could be heard through the mass of ponies gathered in front of the town hall.

"Why didn't they warn us!?" A brown earth pony asked.

"That storm almost destroyed my carrot garden!" An orange mare stated.

"The horror, THE HORROR!" A pink earth pony cried out loud.

"They moved by their own? How!?" Another pony shouted all the way back of the group.

Away from the mass of furious folk were the three mares, sitting on a bench waiting for the waiter to show up. Instead of being angry like the others, they were calmly talking about the event last night.

"That was horrible darling, I've never seen such a terribly thunderous storm in all my life. It was so... messy."

"I must agree with you Rarity, that storm was awfully big." Twilight replied.

"It...startled me..." The yellow pegasi said, almost hiding herself under the table.

"well..." Twilight started to talk, but she saw the waiter coming. "Looks like the waiter's here." she simply said.

"Hello there ladies, may I take your order?" the handsome colt asked with a smile.

"I'll take a daisy sandwich please, and a hay sprite." Twilight said. while giving him the menu.

"Excellent choice." The colt stated, while noting it on his notepad. "And for you miss?"

"It will be a small hay salad please, It will be all for me." With that said, the white mare (hoofed) him the menu.

"Perfect." the pegasus colt said with gentleman tone."And for you miss Fluttershy it will be?"

"Oh! Hello Storm Flash, It will be same as yesterday...please"

"Alright." He replied with a smile, and took the menu."Thank you ladies for your time." The Colt said.

As the colt was going to the kitchen, the three mares continued their conversation.

"So, what I was about to say..."

Suddenly Fluttershy's eyes widened, while she looked at the sky behind her beloved friends.

Twilight and Rarity looked at each other confused, and then returned their gaze to her.

"Fluttershy? Are you all right dear?" Rarity spoke first.

Fluttershy didn't give a reply.

"Fluttershy? Heeelllooooo?" Twilight said with a chanting tone, as she waves her hoof in front of the yellow pegasus's face.

The pegasus raised her slowly trembling hoof to the sky. "L...l...look..." she said, stumbling in her words.

The two mares, a bit confused, turned around and looked at the sky. What they saw was something they never seen before.

"Twilight....what is it..?" Rarity gently spoke, not even turning to face her friend.

"I...don't know.." Twilight spoke with a questioning tone.

"Is it coming toward the crowd?"

"I think so...."

Fluttershy remained silent as she looked at the odd thing, burning and slowly descending toward the crowd of ponies.

Twilight jumped out of her seat."Every pony! Look out!" she shouted as loud as she can.

One little foal in the back row turned to look at Twilight, only to see the weird thing on fire. He turned to his dad, taped his shoulder, and pointed the object. The stallion's eyes widened, as he quickly took his foal and put him on his back.

"Run!" He then shouted. Quickly putting one hoof in front another.

More and more ponies turned around and started screaming and running. Panic was now highly present.

With a loud crack, the object crashed on the ground. Smoke and dusk was spread everywhere. The thing continued to move, scraping the dirt below and making the horrible sound of rock hitting metal. Almost 5 seconds after the impact, the object finally came to a stop. Black smoke was still coming from the object, and fire kept burning the right side of it.

One by one ponies peered from their hiding places. Not actually sure what to do, every pony just watch the odd object and said nothing. Twilight Sparkle was the most curious of the group slowly walked towards the front of the weird looking spacecraft.

"Is it some sort of machine?" She thought out loud. Unsure of what she was seeing.

She then looked to the more rounded shape, that she immediately assumed to be some sort of glass made. But she then focused her gaze at the glass, and gasped in high surprise of what she saw. Twilight couldn't believe it, as she stepped back from the object. She was soon rejoined by Fluttershy and Rarity, who were also shocked and confused by what they saw.

Williams was feeling weak, his vision was blurry, and his arms were hurting badly. Being unable to breath normally, he let out moans of pain as he desperately tried to open the cockpit. As he finally reached the button, he weakly pressed it and the glass quickly flew upwards. He could feel the fresh outdoor air filling his lungs. He tried to look around only to see three coloured dots. He tried to get his vision back, but it was useless. Slowly everything went black, and a voice from the radio came up. He recognized a voice. It was Hopkins...

"Chris? If you're still out there, I just want to say that we will not stop searching... until you are found..."
