If there was a sky, would I look up? Is there a place I can go to? I am lost for words and I am in an area where birds don't fly. I have been walking for 2 days now. The only things I see are tumble weeds passing by. I have been dead thirsty for 3 hours now. There is no more water that I store. I only have 1 bag of crackers left. No one knows where I am. There is no cell signal. I fear I’ll die here. After 6 more hours of walking. I come by a house. It looks abandoned, but I really just don't care. I knock at the old run down door. For a few minutes, no one answers. I jiggled the door knob but it did not open. I look through the broken window. As the wind gently blows the curtains, I see nothing but the fragile floors. I start to walk away from the abandoned house. In the sky I see a helicopter. With the last of my breath i scream out for help. Right before I can say anything I hear gunshots from behind me. I fall to the ground in pain. Trying to keep my eyes open for just a moment longer. I suddenly awake in a white room on a white bed. To my side I see nurses. They’re saying that all 3 shots to my back are not vital. I sit up once more in pain and see the helicopter once more. What have I got myself into? Was there someone in that house after me? Or was I just an innocent victim.
