I sat myself down, two days had passed since the Summer Sun Celebration, and now the element's effect's had almost worn off.
Yesterday I saw my first sunrise.
It was beautiful, the warmth hit my skin, the sensation was brilliant! Never before had I felt the sun's warmth! But now... Well, that was probably the last time I'll ever feel the sun's warmth.
I wish I could be cleansed everyday, but, if there is no evil to be cleansed, the elements may kill me.
I sighed heavily, my sky blue hair swayed, I admired it. It looked so, pure. So very pure.
"Luna? Open up," I pouted, I definitely wanted time. Alone. "I have breakfast!" "Better have something" I thought; my back slumped, I pushed my hands against the floor.
Soon, I was up.
I poked my head out of the door; her face gave me a worried look, "Luna? Can we talk?" Celestia softly whispered, "Ok..."
Celestia stepped into my room, "It's so dark in here, maybe we should let some light in," "Haha, very funny" I cut her off, she giggled, "Oops, sorry Luna..."
"So?" I asked, "What do you want?"
"Luna, have been... Thinking."
"Yes?"
"And, I was wondering"
"Uhuh..."
"If you could be cured, would you cure yourself?"
I stopped. I didn't know how to react. Was this some kind of sick joke? Not likely. I took a deep breath,
"Tia, I would not of cared a while ago. But now, I want to be cured. Yes, but how? Our other attempts were useless, and other cures involve... Sacrifice. You know that. It just... Seems too hard."
Celestia nodded; "My doctors gave found a solution."
I went to object but Celestia cut me off,
"It is quite particular though. It may take a while."
My eye-brow raised, "How?"
Celestia blushed, "Don't worry, it's stupid anyway..."
"Tiaaaaaa...!"
"Fine. You have to..."
"You know to umm... One of the element bearers?"
I was taken aghast, "Celestia! I shall do no such thing!"
"I know, I know, the doctors are very close to a break-through though."
I nodded, "How long?"
"I don't know... Soon?"
Celestia smiled, "I know your frustration sis, but we must keep positive!" She kissed me on the cheek, I forced a smile.
"Ok."
I may as well make the most of what I have.
Especially when the royal chef's make a killer cloud cake!
I looked at the stars, the weather patrollers had done an especially good job today. My stars were absolutely gleaming, and I was extremely happy.
I stepped out of the balcony and into my room.
I took off my royal headdress, gown, slippers and necklace.
I needed some serious cheering up.
"Are you sure the princess is down with this?"
"No, but she'll never know..."
"Luna, your getting more fun everyday!"
I nodded; "I guess, now, don't you have something to do?" I gestured to the empty stage, "Aw, yeah! You just relax ok?"
I gave her a skeptical look; "Relax? In a place like this?" I looked around the nightclub, "I'll try."
"Soda, Sweet Apple Cider, Water or Juice?"
"Soda thanks," The waitress looked at me, "Have I seen you somewhere?"
I stretched out my legs, "No" I lied, I didn't want any attention. "Ok, that'll be 2 bits." I grabbed a few bits out of my pocket and slid them across the table.
The waitress picked them up then walked towards the bar, her pink hair bounced up and down. I frowned, her cutie-mark, it was on her arm; a picture of a daisy. Interesting.
"Ok everybody! DJ PON3 is ready to rock this!"
I found myself bopping my head to the music, it was really good.
"Here's your soda..." The waitress passed my a bubbly pink drink, "Thankyou. By the way," the waitress stopped and turned to face me, "What about your cutie-mark?"
"Huh? Oh..." The waitress gulped, "My talent is gardening..."
I nodded, "Would you like to work at the royal canterlot gardens?"
The waitress' eyes bulged, "Really?" "Follow me, but first," "Yes?!" "Your name?" "Petal Shine."
I waved to the DJ as we left, whom, waved back.
I smiled, Petal really will like working at the gardens. I'm sure of it.
