Sooner than what seemed possible i found myself in school. Annabelle and I found ourselves thrown into separate schools. I was accepted into a military school and she a school for engineering. We kept our friendship alive via letters, post cards and, rarely, a visit here and there. She had found a mustang that she loved. I hated the sound of that. It brought me to tears that i had lost her. however at the same time, I was happy that she had found someone that I hoped to dear Celestia treated her well. a postcard has been included in my journal.

Nothing made me happier to see the cards she took the time to send me.

As days turned to weeks. I felt myself getting stronger and smarter. Friends came and went while i was in the school. None of my friends were able to survive the school. I graduated as an average soldier in the Equestrian civilian guard. Which meant nothing special happened. maybe a few brawls here and there but the most that ever happened was the changeling attack...that didnt turn out so well....nearly losing my head was an experience. I actually won a medal and a promotion to Lance Corporal.
