Midnight Blue, a lonely pegasus, works for the Cloudsdale Weather Factory. He makes sure that all the weather goes directly as planned in Equestria. Some ponies would say it's fun, but not him. When his boss gives him a rookie location, Midnight isn't happy, but the location is the least of his worries. When tragedy strikes in his location, Ponyville, he meets a unicorn, Lyra Heartstrings. Can Lyra cheer up Midnight and bring him out of his gloom, or will Lyra only assist in making matters worse?
