Intro + Chapter 1 *The Story*

INTRO

Ponyville was a peaceful place, home to many brave ponies, but today something

bad will happen to Ponyville that will require the mane six along with the princesses to work together and stop the threat and save ponyville, maybe all of Equestria. And this is where the story begins.

    “Spike!” yelled Twilight, “ How many times have I told you to not leave books lying  around in the library!” She knew Spike wasn't at the library but, she liked to yell what he did when he wasn’t at the library sometimes. “ That dragon, sometimes he is so irresponsible.” Twilight said was she was calming down. As she was putting the books Spike left on the floor back into the bookshelves she noticed a book she had never seen before, she knew she had to read because when picks up a book she reads it till she finishes reading it.

“what kind of book is this?” Twilight wondered, “ I’ve read every book in this place at least twice, but I've never seen a book like this before. But I guess it wouldn’t to hurt to look inside it for a bit.” The book was titled Ancient Equestria old tale Legends a book about old tales that happened before Nightmare Moon or Discord. “ Lets see which story shall I read first.” Twilight started to flip through the pages of the book to see which story she will read about. “hmmm this seems like a good story to read … The legend of-”

“twilight I’m back!” As Spike opened the door of the library. “ I’m back from my errands.”

“That's great Spike.” Twilight said without paying attention to what Spike was doing, “ Hey Spike? Do you know anything about a book called Ancient Equestria old tale Legends?”

“Can’t say that I have Twilight.” Spike responded while he was putting his things away from completing his errands, “Why do you ask?”

“Because I found this book lying on the floor while i was putting books away, and I don’t know anything about this strange book.”

“Huh, I guess we have to find out where this book came from.” Spike said while still putting things away.

“Agreed.” Twilight said as she nodding her head in agreement,“We’ll ask around Ponyville to see if anyone once owned this book.”

“Then let’s get to work!”

     CHAPTER 1

“The Story”

    Twilight and Spike asked almost everypony in Ponyville, but they all said the same thing, “ I’ve never that book in my whole life.”

    “ I guess no one in Ponyville owns this book Twilight.” Spike said disappointed

    “ Yea, Guess we should head home now Spike.”  Twilight said still wondering where this book still came from, “Guess this book just fell out of the bookshelves and I never noticed this book until then.”

    As Twilight and Spike were walking back to their home, Twilight saw two figures far from Ponyville, she couldn't make out who they were but all she could see that they looked like two colts just standing there in the distance not moving a muscle.

    “Whats wrong Twilight?” Spike asked confused, “You seem curious about something...something on your mind?”

    “N-no it’s nothing, come on lets get back to the Library.” Twilight said as in almost in a hurry.Twilight decided to ignore what the two colts in the distance were doing and decided to go home and start to read that book she never read.

    “Is it almost time, brother?” One of the colts asked while wearing a mask.

    “Not yet, brother soon we will strike and destroy this wretched place of a town,

    Ponyville.” The other colt replied while too wearing a mask. “ Soon all of Equestria will know the fear and power of the Legend that is us!”

    After Getting to their home Twilight Took the book out of saddle bag with her magic and went to her room with the book and read the book before going to bed. “Finally, I get to read this book … Lets find that page where i was gonna read that story of this untrue legend.” Twilight said while she was flipping through the pages of the book, “Ah, here it is... The Legend of Rune and Void.”

    A long time ago in ancient Equestria there were two little colts with unimaginable power, their names were known as Rune and Void. They were brothers that were born alicorns not related to the Royal Family, The older of the two, Rune, was quite the reader.

He would read books on how to use powerful magic and practice his magic at night when his family is asleep because his parents never liked magic so they never let him learn it. The younger of the two,Void, was like a student to his brother, he would learn from his brother to be like him, so they sneak out of their house at night to learn magic spells like summoning spells, transformation spells, and destruction spells. But one night after practicing spells they saw their house on fire, it turns out that bandits had hit the house with a raid and killed their entire family. After looking at the damage all they could find were the charred bodies of their parents, they built up so much anger that they destroy entire villages to relieve them of their loss of their parents and make people feel what they feel when they lost them, sadness, anger, and hate.

    Twilight laughed as she just finished the story, “ What a lame Legend, but it was a good bedtime story for me. I guess i should be going to sleep now.” Twilight closed the book and put it on the floor next to her bed and tried to go to sleep ,but started to wonder.  Was the Legend true?are there two colts out there with great power? are they still alive?

But all that wondering had made Twilight fall asleep still not believing in that story that she had read.

    “Is it almost time now brother!? My sword thirsts for blood!” Asked the colt still wearing the mask

    “Calm down Void, anyway it is time to destroy this wasted place for a town... we strike at dawn, Void.”

    “ It’s about time Rune, I was really getting bored just planning on destroying this town.”

    “Sometimes planning is the key to a successful battle little brother.”

    “I guess, anyway I'm gonna go rest up for the attack... you gonna rest up aswell Rune?” Void asked taking while off his mask and setting down his sword onto the ground.

    “No, because if I sleep we would miss the perfect opportunity to catch them by surprise and be able to kill more then we need.”

“Alright, night Rune.”

“Sleep well, brother.”

After Void had fallen asleep, Rune started to choose which place they choose destroy first.

“This gonna be the biggest attack we had done so far, I better pick a good target for me, and my brother...I better take that library, it’s perfect for me since it’s wood and my special spells are fire. My brother can attack that building made of sweets, since I know he hates sweets, don’t know why but I think that will be good for him...Beware Ponyville cause Rune and Void are coming to town.”
