Posey,
We stuffed up again, didn't we? Tell me, god of healing, is there even a right path? Are we really coming back here again? I'm sick Posey, sick and tired of running? Why couldn't we do what everypony else did? Except fate and move on? We were meant do die 105 years ago.....

It was a mid-summers night, the clouds settled over the moon gently. A small, frail pony looked up at the night sky, one she knew all too well. It was as if she'd been looking at the same sky for centuries. A faint, but refreshing smell painted the air, it smelt of fresh flowers emerging form the oncoming field. The frail pony looked miles ahead of her, what were there were fields of flowers. All she could see, was yet another dead end.

Why Posey? I thought we had it right this time, everything we did worked out. Even the purple hero had wings this time. I thought we had broken it, I thought......

She took a delicate step forward, the long grass entangling her foot. Behind her in the shadows were five other slightly bigger ponies, looking on towards them. Because what they saw was a hooded zebra, standing next to a wooden shrine. What the small pony saw, was the beginning of the end.

Two more cycles, Posey. Only two, okay? If we don't finish by then, I'll give up. Maybe you can't change fate after all.

The zebra took a few steps forward, so she was in throwing range of the small pony. The slowly removed her hood to reveal a golden necklace, with a Butterfly in the center. It was pink and shiny, and matched the four necklaces that were hidden just behind the small pony. She heard the five shadow lurkers gasp and shriek. All the small pony could think of was what was beyond here.

When we enter the next world, what will we do differently? You'd think by now we've done everything. Then why, why have I never made it past June 2010?

The frail pony took one last look at the moon lit sky, and glanced to her right, as if she was staring right through a figure. She gave a concerning nod, then slowly raised her entangled hoof from the patch of grass, and reached inside her saddle. On it was a pink butterfly, one that resembled the necklace the zebra was wearing. She dug around for a minute, and revealed from it a dagger, already blood stained.

Are you ready, Posey? This pain I go through, time after time, and all you do is watch. I can't take this anymore

She points the knife at the glaring zebra, then turns it around so it faces her temple. She engulfed a giant breath, then, with all her might, dug the knife in to her temple. Screams from the five shadows echoed around the field, but this was nothing the small pony hadn't done before. However, the small pony didn't stop, not even when she hit her skull. She just kept digging and digging, until she eventually dropped to the ground, her eyeballs filled with nothing.

The zebra smiled at first, then roared with laughter. "I won! I won!" She screamed, then used her hooves to smash down the shrine next to her. Almost, as if it was planned, the five shadow ponies dropped to the ground, dead. A gas like substance filled the air, wiping out every thing in it's way. The flowers around the small corpse were blood stained, standing out from the green field surrounding it.

Do you feel that Posey? That falling feeling? I can smell that all too familiar smell, death and blood mixed together. It's sad to think that tomorrow, I'll wake up and do it all over again. Can't you understand what I go through? I'm so sick and tired....

The gas had reached Ponyville by now, and had begun wiping out ponies everywhere. Some, were choked to death by the gas, others lost their eyeballs in a struggle. But, at the very top of a cliff, 3 ponies stood there, scratching and scratching at their necks. They clawed and clawed for hours, while mass destruction occurred behind them. However, blood never surfaced. Instead, maggots fell from the gashes and wounds the ponies had conjured.

It was midnight, July 1st. Ponyville was no more. All around for miles, were corpses of ponies, some mangled, some completely unharmed. Still on the cliff, were the 3 ponies, now surrounded by maggots. All in sync, the 3 ponies turned around to discover the mass death. Before them stood an empty city, bodies of innocent ponies for miles. Even the building were shattered.

The 3 ponies looked up at the night sky, the clouds had drifted from the moon by now. Then, almost as if they were spirited away, they vanished. If you listened, you could hear a soft whisper in the delicate wind.

Somewhere between life and death, stood two ponies. One was small and frail. Another, looked pure and fresh, almost ghostly. They stood there, frozen in each others gaze for a while. The ghostly one was slightly taller than the frail one, however she looked much younger. The small one looked much more experienced in life, almost as if she'd been through life more than once.

They eventually dropped the gaze, and turned ahead of them. Instead of the field that was before them, there now stood about 1272 mirrors. One of the blank ones suddenly lit up. It was full of clippings from the previous life, featuring 5 ponies smiling, laughing, and acting as if the world would never end.

"What...happened to my normal life in Ponyville?" She small pony pondered. A tiny tear fell down her right eye. Pain was something she hadn't felt in decades. This setting was way more familiar than it should be. She glanced over to her right. Where only two empty mirrors stood.
"Only.....two left?" She asked, but the ghostly pony had vanished from thin air. "Very well," The small pony muttered, She walked up to one of the mirrors, and pressed her fully healed hoof to it. Without fear, she let the glass become dust, and let it evaporate her in to a portal of darkness, where the only way was down.

Falling and falling, something we do a lot, huh Posey? I wonder if maybe this world is the one.
At the end of the darkness, was a light, a light only the sun could give off. A different sun for each world.
I'm.....just so tired of running.
