She just needed to figure one other part of the spell out and she could do it correctly. Page after page of nothing, and Twilight was about to give up. CRASH! "Sup egghead!" Rainbow Dash called. She flew over to Twilight and looked at what she was doing. Rainbow Dash didn't see Twilight rolling her eyes at her. "I'm working on an important spell Rainbow. Maybe you can be my test subject." Twilight responded with a little groan in there too. "Sure I already finished with the weather. Man it was hard today. My wings are a little sore right now actually!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. Twilight grunted and her horn started to glow. "My work is a lot hard than yours Rainbow. I've got to study these spells, and make sure Spike is in good health. It's harder than you think." She responded. "Hey! My job is harder than yours! You just sit around and read all day! I go out there and do actual work!" Rainbow Dash spat back. Twilight screamed and without realizing she did the spell. There was a big flash of purple and blue, and everything went black for the two friends. What happened?Rainbow Dash stood up, but her legs shook and she fell back down. Then she noticed the pain from her wings were gone. That's why I can't stand up I'm in a hospital bed. The doctors must have fixed me up and from that explosion from Twilight's house. Rainbow Dash thought. She opened her eyes again, and noticed she was covered with a white cover. "Hey, are you OK?" A voice asked. ”Um yeah the doctors here are great." Rainbow Dash replied. "You're in the dark, who are you?" The pony had a huge smile when she came out of the darkness. "Pinkie pie you’re here!" "Yeah I did! I made you some cupcakes!" Pinkie pie exclaimed. She held up a plate of cupcakes that were nicely decorated by her. Rainbow Dash licked her lips and took one from the pile. These look good! I know they're good if Pinkie made them! She thought happily. "Why don't you use your horn?" Pinkie pie asked. "Very funny Pinkie," Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Well I've got to get these cupcakes to the other patients. You know how they like their cupcakes! Oh and see you at the picnic tomorrow!" Pinkie responded while walking out of the room. Something puzzled Rainbow Dash. When Pinkie had asked her why she didn't use her horn, she sounded really serious. Pinkie wasn't joking when she said that. Rainbow Dash thought. I wonder what happened. She noticed that her hoof was different for the first time. Instead of being a light blue she was a purple color. Rainbow Dash took her other hoof (which was the same purple color) and touched her hooves together. Then she pinched herself with them. "Ouch!" She shouted. "This definitely isn't a dream." Rainbow Dash stood up and went up to a mirror in the room. She looked in the mirror and Twilight Sparkle stared back at her. Pinkie must have put a joke mirror in here. She loves a good prank as much as I do.Rainbow Dash thought trying to be positive. She put her hoof up to the mirror and realized that this wasn't a prank. She had to hold back a scream by shoving her hoof in her mouth. Or should we say Twilight's hoof. Rainbow Dash decided to see where her body was. She walked down the hall of the hospital looking for a nurse. Rainbow Dash found one and walker up to her. "Excuse me, do you know where Twi...Uh I mean Rainbow Dash's room is?" She asked nervously. "Yes go down the hall and take a left." The nurse responded pointing a hoof down the hall. Rainbow Dash followed the nurse's instructions and walked to the room. When she walked in she saw herself sleeping in a bed (or Twilight in Rainbow Dash's body). Rainbow Dash went up to Twilight Sparkle and shook her awake. "Ugh...What is it now?" Twilight moaned tiredly. Twilight opened her eyes, and noticed her own body standing over her. Twilight got out of the bed showing no concern. She walked up to a mirror and noticed she was Rainbow Dash. "Is this what that stupid spell was supposed to do?" Rainbow Dash asked. "No, something went wrong." "Well can't we fix it." "I don't know how!" Rainbow Dash wanted to punch Twilight in the face, but she'd be punching herself. So she took her hoof and punched her (Twilight's) face. "What are you trying to do to my body?!" Twilight Sparkle demanded. "Getting payback for this mess you got us into!" Rainbow Dash spat back. "What I did? You're the one who disrupted my work!" "Arguing with you is just like arguing with Rarity!" “I’m nothing like that stuck up snob!" "You're both annoying and hard to work with!" "You want payback?! I'll give you payback!" Rainbow Dash didn't know what to say after that last sentence Twilight uttered. Questions buzzed through her head like: What could be the worst she could do? And like: Will she do anything to me? Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash, her devilish smirk started to frighten her a little. "So, we’re living each other’s lives until we find a cure." Rainbow Dash reminded. "Yes, we should leave this hospital. It's getting late and I....I mean you have to feed Spike." Twilight responded. They soon signed out and left without another word. On the way to Twilight's house Rainbow Dash saw Twilight flying with her wings. "Darn it Twilight, why couldn't your parents have been pegasi?" She muttered with anger in her voice. When Rainbow Dash got inside Twilight's house Spike was eating a bucket of ice cream. He looked up to see her and imminently threw the bucket. Ice cream flew out of the bucket onto the floor. "Oh really Spike really?!" Rainbow Dash asked. "Uh I'm sorry Twilight. I'll clean it up for you." Spike replied nervously. Rainbow Dash walked up to Spike. "No that's not what I meant at all Spike." Spike was starting to sweat. Oh no I'm really in for it now! He thought. "Spike, you can't have ice cream without toppings!" "What?" Spike asked surprised. "Aren't you angry to see me up at ten o, clock at night eating ice cream?" "Spike, I'd be angry if you didn't share!" Rainbow Dash replied smiling. Spike handed her a bucket of ice cream and he smiled. They ate so much they soon became drunk with sugar. At least one person reading this has done that in their life. "Yum...yum...yum...Ice cream goes down my throat." Rainbow Dash sang without realizing. "Sounds....Good to me throats and ice cream. Hey....Twilight...are you sure this.....Is OK?" Spike responded. "I'm not Twilight! I'm Rainbow....Dash.....A cool flash spell made us..Switch bodies." She laughed in return. "Huh? You and...Twilight did what now?" Spike asked sounding serious. UGH Rainbow Dash woke up the next morning with a splitting headache. She looked at Spike who had a bucket of ice cream on his head. That made her chuckle slightly. "Spike, you have a bucket on your head!" Spike woke up with a jolt and the bucket flew across the room. They both burst into laughter when it hit the door. Then Rainbow Dash looked out the window and saw her body talking to Twilight's neighbors. "Uh Spike we've got trouble!" Rainbow Dash called to him. "Twilight's coming!" Spike immanently started to clean himself with wet paper towels, while Rainbow cleaned up the mess. They hurriedly cleaned the house top to bottom. When Rainbow Dash finished she ran to Twilight's bed and pretended to be asleep. Spike did the same with his. KNOCK! KNOCK! "Hello? Rainbow Dash Spike you there?" Twilight called. "Twilight, try to be quiet!" Rainbow Dash whispered harshly. "You almost woke Spike up! Even though I'm trapped in a wingless body I have some responsibility!" Twilight frowned at her. "I'm sorry I didn't know he was asleep. Anyways the picnic is soon." Rainbow Dash started to sweat. "Wha- um...Yeah Yeah of course I'll be there!" CRAP! Is it that late! Darn it Twilight! Rainbow Dash thought. Spike walked down the stairs to see the switched up friends. He gulped and started to run up the stairs, but he tripped and fell back down. "Spike, ph no!" Twilight yelled. She flew over to him to see a bruise. "Rainbow Dash!" "What? How is this my fault?! I thought he was upstairs asleep?!" Rainbow Dash yelled in return. She walked up to them and helped Spike up. "Spike aren’t you a little confused?" Twilight asked him curiously. "No, Rainbow Dash told me everything!" Spike exclaimed. Twilight gave Rainbow a stare that said:"Really Rainbow Dash?" She started to sweat a little. Rainbow Dash stared nervously at Twilight. "Well it's getting late. The others will start to wonder where we are. Now remember Rainbow and Spike we act like nothing happened." Twilight instructed calmly. "So I've just got to act like an egghead?" Rainbow Dash started to laugh, and Spike joined in. ________________________________________ Applejack, Pinkie pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity waited for their friends. They had the blanket spread out and the picnic basket on it. Applejack was asleep on the blanket snoring loudly. Pinkie pie was blowing up some balloons with a goofy grin on her face. Fluttershy was looking at the squirrels running up the trees. Lastly Rarity was making sure there were enough plates. "Look! There's Dashie in the sky!" Pinkie pie chirped. The others looked up to see "Rainbow Dash" flying towards them. They noticed something on her back. "Do any of y'all know what's on her back?" Applejack asked drowsily. "It looks like Spike." Rarity replied squinting at "Rainbow Dash" in the sky. "Spike, what is he doing on Dashie's back?" Pinkie asked trying to examine Spike on the blue pegasus's back. When "Rainbow Dash" (Twilight) landed she smiled at her friends. "Hi Rainbow Dash glad you are here!" They all said to her. "Hi- I mean sup slackers!" Twilight responded nervously. "Where's Twilight?" Fluttershy asked her. "She's right behind us!" Spike pointed behind them. "Twilight Sparkle" or Rainbow Dash was almost there. She was smiling as she walked towards her friends. When Rainbow Dash came up to them they greeted her happily. "Hello darling!" Rarity cooed to her. "Maybe after this we can get a hooficure!" Twilight nudged Rainbow Dash so she's say yes for her. "No!" Rainbow Dash whispered harshly. "Even though I'm in your body doesn't mean I do things that I don't want to do! I'm not getting a stupid hooficure just to make you happy. "Remember when I said I'd get payback for you hitting my body." Twilight whispered back. "I'm getting it now." The other ponies had already started their own conversations. They'd ignored Rainbow Dash and Twilight's conversation. "Hey Rarity," Twilight said calmly. "Yes Rainbow Dash?" She asked gleefully. "I'll take Twilight's place in getting a hooficure." The ponies stared at her. Especially Rainbow Dash who wasn't expecting this. Her jaw had dropped. I seriously had to say that. She thought with rage. Rarity smiled at Twilight. "Finally deciding to be like your real hero huh?!" Rarity exclaimed. "We can get makeovers! Oh Rainbow! I can't wait let's go now!" She grabbed Twilight and they ran off to the spa. "Well...Rainbow has changed." Applejack commented. "Maybe it's for the good!" Fluttershy said excitedly. Rainbow Dash couldn't take much more of this. She started to run towards the spa in anger. "Twilight, you forgot Spike!" Pinkie pie called. "Keep an eye on him!" Rainbow Dash yelled back. She had to hurry if she didn't want her body to be tampered with. Thinking about it made her shutter. Switches and Glitches Switches and Glitches Rainbow Dash made it to the spa just in time. She ran in grabbed Twilight by her wing, and pulled her away from the front desk forcefully. They stared at each other with anger in their eyes. The other four ponies had followed them into the hallway of the spa. "What in tarnation is going on here?" Applejack yelled at them. Twilight and Rainbow Dash looked at her, and then the other three ponies. They decided to explain everything to them. From the beginning with the flashes to what had just happened. "Well that explains a lot," Rarity commented. "Well what are we going to do about this?" Fluttershy asked. They all fell silent. "Everypony, we all know this is Rainbow Dash's fault and-" Twilight started. "Hey!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "What are you angry about? It's obviously your fault!" Twilight responded with anger. "No it's not! You said that your job was harder than mine first!" Rainbow Dash argued. Pinkie pie got in between them before they ripped each other apart. They were trying to at least give the other a black eye. Then out of nowhere Twilight's horn (controlled by Rainbow Dash) started to glow. There was a blinding light of light blue and purple again. ________________________________________ Is it fixed? Am I me? Rainbow Dash thought frantically. She looked at her hooves, they were still purple. Wait, if we didn't change who did? She looked around the room and saw Applejack on the floor. Her eyes were covered as if she was scared. "Applejack are you alright?" Rainbow Dash asked walking towards her. "I'm fine!" Applejack called. The sound of her voice didn't come from her shivering on the floor. The sound came from across the room where Rarity was standing. "Why y'all looking at meh like that?" She asked Rainbow Dash nervously. "Applejack, you're Rarity!" Rainbow Dash yelled at her. Applejack examined herself. She walked across the room to her body shivering on the floor. Applejack took her hat and put it on. "That's better," She remarked happily. Twilight sat up and looked at Spike. He was jumping around and giggling. Something is not right here. Twilight thought still looking at Spike. "Um...Spike?" Twilight asked still examining him. "Oh! Hey Twilight! It's me Pinkie! Lookie here I'm a dragon!" It was Pinkie pie. She was giggling and jumping around in Spike's body. "Roar roar roar!" "Well then where's Spike?" Twilight asked curiously. Whoever was in Pinkie's body walked up to her. "Hey Twilight," Spike groaned. At least I know where Spike is, Twilight thought. Pinkie pie jumped over to Spike and giggled. "Oh my gosh! Isn't this great Spike?! EEE! I'm you and you're me!" "It's just great," Spike mumbled back. "Is it over? Can I look now?" They heard Fluttershy's voice in the distance. It was coming from a scared looking Applejack. She stood up and looked over herself. "Oh dear this isn’t right!" Lastly Rarity was in Fluttershy's body. She walked up to her. "Finally, I can do you're mane without you fidgeting! Too bad I couldn't be Rainbow Dash. She really needs help with her mess of a mane! Hey Twilight, can you make me Rainbow Dash next!" "It would be good for revenge," Twilight muttered. "So is that a yes?" Rarity asked impatiently. "I'll try to get her to put it on herself," Twilight whispered. Rarity cheered happily and gave Twilight a quick hug. Rainbow Dash and Applejack walked over to the others. "So what do we do now?" Applejack asked them. "Let’s go to the library. They probably have a book there!” Twilight responded quickly. ________________________________________ By time they got to the library Twilight's back (which is actually Rainbow Dash's) was aching. Rainbow Dash made sure her back wasn't broken. "Sorry Twilight. I guess I'm a lot heavier in Pinkie pie's body." Spike apologized to her. Twilight nodded as if to say:"It's alright Spike it's not your fault." "You should be sorry Spike!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "You could have broken my back!" Spike lowered his head sadly. He didn't mean to do any harm to his friend. "Rainbow Dash, this is no time to yell! Everypony get in the library!" Twilight barked to all of them. They all ran inside quickly not wanting to get on Twilight's bad side. When they got inside they tore apart the book shelves in anger. All of the ponies (and one dragon) wanted to find a cure. Pinkie pie tied some balloons to her (Spike's) waist. With the balloons tied she floated up to the top shelf. When she got there she threw down books to the others. "Hey! Look at this one!" Rarity called to them. The others trotted to her and looked at the book she had in her hooves. Twilight took the book and flipped a few pages. She smiled when she got to one page. "The spell of transformation, many say it's a curse others say it's a blessing. When two (or more) ponies argue. Also one has to be a powerful unicorn. If the fighting gets too vicious the unicorn's horn glows rapidly. Then there is a flash of the colors of ponies included." Twilight stopped to take a breath and continued. "When the ponies come out of this daze they are found in each other’s bodies. There is one cure to this. It is a long trip into the mountains of......" "Of where?" Applejack asked impatiently. "It doesn't say, there is only this map." Twilight responded holding up the map. The others observed the map. Spike jumped up realizing something. "There's a shaded in path on there!" He pointed out. "Good job Spike! Now we can be on our way." Twilight enthused. "Now everypony go to your homes and pack your saddlebags! We have to fix this quick!" It Begins When the ponies gathered in the middle of Ponyville they looked a little funny. Since they were trapped in each other’s bodies they were wearing their own saddlebags. Of course they had the cutie marks on them. So it looked a little strange to see Pinkie pie (in Spike's body) wearing her saddlebags. "Is everyone here?" Fluttershy asked nervously. "Yup we're all here!" Pinkie Pie called. "Okay good let's head out," Twilight told them. They started to follow the path that was labeled on the map. Rainbow Dash scouted ahead to see the Everfree forest in front of her. "This is our first stop." Twilight started to trot into the forest. "The Everfree forest!” Fluttershy cried. She ducked her head in her hooves again and Rainbow Dash sighed. She grabbed Fluttershy and dragged her along. Fluttershy tried to struggle from her friend's grasp, but she wasn't that strong. She decided to just be dragged. They were walking along until Spike tripped and fell down a hole. He was too stunned to speak he just fell. "Spike!" all of the ponies shouted. Applejack went into her saddle bag and got a rope. She tied it around her waist (Rarity's waist) and tied it to a rock. "Make sure it doesn't come untied!" Applejack called to her friends. "Wait Applejack," Rarity shouted. Applejack looked at her. "Make sure that rope doesn't scratch up my coat! I had just got it done a few days ago." Applejack sighed and ignored her comment. She jumped into the hole to save Spike. CRASH! "OW! Rarity's body isn't tough enough. My body can take a beating!" Applejack muttered. She stood up and looked around. I must be in a underground cave, She thought while she looked. "Help help help!" It was Spike! Applejack ran and she tripped at least seven times. Rarity's hooves were slippery from being polished earlier, so it didn't help. "Don't worry Spike I'll get yah!" She shouted after tripping again. Applejack ran to the sound of Spike's screams. She found him tied up on the floor trying to get out. "Rarity, uh I mean Applejack!" Spike shouted happily. "Never call me Rarity again," Applejack growled at him. Spike chuckled and Applejack untied him. Then she tied him to the other rope and they went up to the others. The other smiled when they saw the two coming up. "We were so worried!" Twilight commented. She ran to Spike and hugged him. "Twilight you're basically hugging Pinkie," Spike told her. Twilight blushed at this awkward moment and stepped back. The other six laughed at the look on Twilight's face. They walked farther without any struggling. The quest to become themselves again has only just begun. There were many more dangers on the other side of the forest. They were just waiting for ponies to come. The mane six and Spike are the next ones to suffer the dangers.. For now they had other things to worry about. “Applejack, you got my coat all dirty!” Rarity complained. “Why is it even a bother? You can take a shower when this is all over. Plus since I’m in use of your body I can do what I want with it,” Applejack replied. “Can’t you believe it was these ponies who tried to stop Twilight and I from fighting. Now they’re fighting it’s strange.” Rainbow Dash commented while walking past them. Rarity and Applejack shrugged and stopped arguing. “Okay this upcoming path goes in three different directions,” Twilight announced. “Spike, Rainbow Dash, and I will go down the middle. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie will go to the left. Finally Applejack and Rarity will go to the right. Are we all in agreement?” They all nodded and went the way they were instructed to go. The Paths Rarity and Applejack walked down their assigned path. I was a little brighter down this one, and there were birds chirping. The birds flew towards Rarity thinking that she was Fluttershy. She tried to shoo away the birds, but they were gathering around her head. Rarity screamed for them to go away. She ran to get them off. In the meantime Applejack was rolling on the ground cracking up. When the birds finally went away Rarity looked at Applejack. "Get off of the ground! You already messed up my coat from the rope. I don't need my mane messed up!" "Have y'all looked in a mirror? You messed Fluttershy's body up and you're yelling at me?" Applejack's comeback made herself snicker. "Yes you're right," Rarity responded. She jumped on top of Applejack, and started to attack. Applejack flipped Rarity over easily and started to walk again. "You don't want to hurt yourself," Applejack chuckled. Rarity stood up and followed her friend with a smile. They kept walking until they reached a big bunch of trees. When they got past the trees they saw a beach. The ocean was beautiful...On most days. This day however the waves were dangerously high and rough. "Today looks like a perfect day to swim," Applejack joked. The two laughed and sat down on the sand. "The others might end up here too. We might as well wait." Meanwhile Pinkie pie and Fluttershy were walking down their assigned path. This path was darker and no animals were in their field of vision. Fluttershy was crawling through holding onto Pinkie pie's (Spike's) tail. If you were walking up to them it would look like this: Applejack crawling on the ground with Fluttershy's saddlebags on. Then you would see her holding onto Spike's tail in fear. "This isn't so bad!" Pinkie pie shouted happily. Fluttershy looked up and shook her head. "There's no need to be scared Flutters!" Fluttershy shivered even though Pinkie tried to comfort her. "Well...There are.... Unknown things.... In this forest...." Fluttershy cried softly to Pinkie pie. "There's nothing to be scared of," Pinkie pie reassured. Soon enough a stick fell on Fluttershy’s head. She screamed and ran for her life. Pinkie pie ran after her in a hurry. She found Fluttershy stuck in a bush. "H-help," Fluttershy stuttered. "Fluttershy, you're in a bush!" Pinkie pie was cracking up ignoring the fact that her friend was stuck. "Um can you help?" Fluttershy asked. Pinkie pie nodded and pulled her out. They both fell and went past a big bunch of trees. Fluttershy screamed in midair while Pinkie whooped and hollered. They fell with a crash on top of Applejack and Rarity. "Oh hey y'all," Applejack greeted. "Where are Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Spike?" Fluttershy asked nervously. "They're still going down the middle path," Rarity explained. "Then we will wait!" Pinkie pie exclaimed. Meanwhile the last three were walking down their assigned path. Rainbow Dash groaned looking at whom she was stuck with which didn't make her too happy. "Twilight, why did you want me to go with you and Spike?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight looked at her feeling annoyed already. "You have my magic, I don't want it going off again like before. No thanks to you." "To me?" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Yes, you were controlling my horn," Twilight responded calmly. "I didn't do it purposely!" "You're still using it!" "Stop!" Spike shouted at them. "You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. You guys are best friends! You don't need to fight like this!" Rainbow Dash started to walk away from the group. She was getting fed up with Twilight. Rainbow Dash kept walking until she realized she was on the edge of a cliff. She looked over to see the other four sitting on a beach laughing. "Rainbow Dash you jerk!" Twilight hollered. She was running up the cliff to where Rainbow Dash was. By this time the others were walking towards the two. Twilight ran towards Rainbow Dash quickly. Rainbow Dash jumped out of the way and Twilight fell. "Twilight!" all of the ponies shouted (including Spike). Twilight screamed before she hit the water with a splash. They stood in shock looking at the ocean. Rainbow Dash jumped off the cliff after her. "Rainbow Dash no!" The others tried to stop her, but it was too late. "Wha-what do we do?" Fluttershy cried. "There's only one thing to do." Applejack replied. She took off her hat and looked at the ocean. She jumped off and closed her eyes tightly. "She's right," Rarity sighed. She led the others into the ocean. "Yes we're going swimming!" Pinkie pie yelled while she fell. "It's going to be much fun!" Spike screamed. All of them yelled as they fell. Saving their friends was important, and they would do whatever it took. Rainbow Dash and Twilight were good friends of theirs, so they must be saved. Dear Princess Celestia Princess Celestia was sitting in her room. Then a letter arrived for her. She opened it up and started to read it: Dear Princess Celestia, A few days ago Twilight and I got into a fight. It caused her to mess up a spell and it made us switch bodies. It wasn't too long until the others switch too. We have a learned a lesson from this little mix up (me especially). I learned that to be a good friend is to always be kind and caring to your friends. Even if you're angry at your friend. If your friend is in a jam never remember the fights, think about your friend. Your faithful subject, Rainbow Dash Princess Celestia put down the letter and smiled. She was remembering a fillyhood incident somewhat like this. It just made her happy. Waves Crash Rainbow Dash stuck her head above the water and got a gasp of air. She started to swim where she had seen Twilight fall. The waves made Rainbow Dash spin. She went under the water and she felt a pull. Rainbow Dash pulled in return until Twilight was in her hooves. "Twilight, wake up!" She shouted at her. Twilight coughed and opened her eyes. "Rainbow Dash... You saved my life!" Twilight yelled with glee. They looked at each other happily. They knew that their feud was over. They could finally work this problem out without fighting constantly. "This calls for a party!" Pinkie pie's voice was heard from a few feet away. They turned around to see Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, and Spike. They smiled and hugged Rainbow Dash and Twilight. They were all so happy. For a moment there they forgot about the whole body swap thing. They decided to get onto land, and then they started to have a party. Pinkie pie started a limbo contest. "This is so much fun!" Fluttershy enthused. "Yeah, I knew it was a good idea to party!" Pinkie pie responded. "It really gets your mind off of things," Twilight commented. They partied into the night with screams of joy filling the air. They started a bonfire after the sun went down, and they started to chat. "So, how are we supposed to turn back?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I'm not sure. The map says the cure is supposed to be right here." Twilight responded pointing at the map. "Then how do we turn back?" Rarity asked. "I guess we don't," Spike responded sadly. "I guess we should go back to Ponyville," Applejack told them. The other nodded knowing it was right. They got their saddlebags back on and started to walk back. All of them went through the big bunch of trees and walked down the path. None of them said a word to each other. Twilight lead the way back to Ponyville. It was going to be a long trip back. They got to Ponyville around midnight. When they got to Twilight's house they fell asleep on her floor. It was too dark to see anything that night, so Twilight didn't see the others fall asleep on her floor. She just went upstairs and fell asleep. Twilight woke up on her floor. She looked around to see the body swapped ponies around her. Applejack's body started to move. Twilight knew Fluttershy controlled it, so there was nothing to worry about. "What's fer breakfast?" Fluttershy mumbled. Twilight knew it was Fluttershy, but it didn't sound like her. "Fluttershy?" Twilight asked nervously. "Who ya callin' Fluttershy?" She asked in return. "Applejack, you're in your body again!" Twilight shouted happily. Applejack looked at herself and smiled. "You are too Twilight." Twilight looked at herself and grinned. "Yes I am!" Rainbow Dash stumbled down the stairs from Twilight's room. She looked at Twilight and Applejack and waved her hoof at them. She sat down with them. "I'm me!" Rainbow Dash shouted. She hugged her friends and smiled.
The Experiment Twilight Sparkle was working on a new spell in the library. She just needed to figure one other part of the spell out and she could do it correctly. Page after page of nothing, and Twilight was about to give up. CRASH! "Sup egghead!" Rainbow Dash called. She flew over to Twilight and looked at what she was doing. Rainbow Dash didn't see Twilight rolling her eyes at her. "I'm working on an important spell Rainbow. Maybe you can be my test subject." Twilight responded with a little groan in there too. "Sure I already finished with the weather. Man it was hard today. My wings are a little sore right now actually!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. Twilight grunted and her horn started to glow. "My work is a lot hard than yours Rainbow. I've got to study these spells, and make sure Spike is in good health. It's harder than you think." She responded. "Hey! My job is harder than yours! You just sit around and read all day! I go out there and do actual work!" Rainbow Dash spat back. Twilight screamed and without realizing she did the spell. There was a big flash of purple and blue, and everything went black for the two friends.
What happened?Rainbow Dash stood up, but her legs shook and she fell back down. Then she noticed the pain from her wings were gone. That's why I can't stand up I'm in a hospital bed. The doctors must have fixed me up and from that explosion from Twilight's house. Rainbow Dash thought. She opened her eyes again, and noticed she was covered with a white cover. "Hey, are you OK?" A voice asked. ”Um yeah the doctors here are great." Rainbow Dash replied. "You're in the dark, who are you?" The pony had a huge smile when she came out of the darkness. "Pinkie pie you’re here!" "Yeah I did! I made you some cupcakes!" Pinkie pie exclaimed. She held up a plate of cupcakes that were nicely decorated by her. Rainbow Dash licked her lips and took one from the pile. These look good! I know they're good if Pinkie made them! She thought happily. "Why don't you use your horn?" Pinkie pie asked. "Very funny Pinkie," Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Well I've got to get these cupcakes to the other patients. You know how they like their cupcakes! Oh and see you at the picnic tomorrow!" Pinkie responded while walking out of the room. Something puzzled Rainbow Dash. When Pinkie had asked her why she didn't use her horn, she sounded really serious. Pinkie wasn't joking when she said that. Rainbow Dash thought. I wonder what happened. She noticed that her hoof was different for the first time. Instead of being a light blue she was a purple color. Rainbow Dash took her other hoof (which was the same purple color) and touched her hooves together. Then she pinched herself with them. "Ouch!" She shouted. "This definitely isn't a dream." Rainbow Dash stood up and went up to a mirror in the room. She looked in the mirror and Twilight Sparkle stared back at her. Pinkie must have put a joke mirror in here. She loves a good prank as much as I do.Rainbow Dash thought trying to be positive. She put her hoof up to the mirror and realized that this wasn't a prank. She had to hold back a scream by shoving her hoof in her mouth. Or should we say Twilight's hoof. Rainbow Dash decided to see where her body was. She walked down the hall of the hospital looking for a nurse. Rainbow Dash found one and walker up to her. "Excuse me, do you know where Twi...Uh I mean Rainbow Dash's room is?" She asked nervously. "Yes go down the hall and take a left." The nurse responded pointing a hoof down the hall. Rainbow Dash followed the nurse's instructions and walked to the room. When she walked in she saw herself sleeping in a bed (or Twilight in Rainbow Dash's body). Rainbow Dash went up to Twilight Sparkle and shook her awake. "Ugh...What is it now?" Twilight moaned tiredly. Twilight opened her eyes, and noticed her own body standing over her. Twilight got out of the bed showing no concern. She walked up to a mirror and noticed she was Rainbow Dash. "Is this what that stupid spell was supposed to do?" Rainbow Dash asked. "No, something went wrong." "Well can't we fix it." "I don't know how!" Rainbow Dash wanted to punch Twilight in the face, but she'd be punching herself. So she took her hoof and punched her (Twilight's) face. "What are you trying to do to my body?!" Twilight Sparkle demanded. "Getting payback for this mess you got us into!" Rainbow Dash spat back. "What I did? You're the one who disrupted my work!" "Arguing with you is just like arguing with Rarity!" “I’m nothing like that stuck up snob!" "You're both annoying and hard to work with!" "You want payback?! I'll give you payback!" Rainbow Dash didn't know what to say after that last sentence Twilight uttered. Questions buzzed through her head like: What could be the worst she could do? And like: Will she do anything to me? Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash, her devilish smirk started to frighten her a little. "So, we’re living each other’s lives until we find a cure." Rainbow Dash reminded. "Yes, we should leave this hospital. It's getting late and I....I mean you have to feed Spike." Twilight responded. They soon signed out and left without another word. On the way to Twilight's house Rainbow Dash saw Twilight flying with her wings. "Darn it Twilight, why couldn't your parents have been pegasi?" She muttered with anger in her voice. When Rainbow Dash got inside Twilight's house Spike was eating a bucket of ice cream. He looked up to see her and imminently threw the bucket. Ice cream flew out of the bucket onto the floor. "Oh really Spike really?!" Rainbow Dash asked. "Uh I'm sorry Twilight. I'll clean it up for you." Spike replied nervously. Rainbow Dash walked up to Spike. "No that's not what I meant at all Spike." Spike was starting to sweat. Oh no I'm really in for it now! He thought. "Spike, you can't have ice cream without toppings!" "What?" Spike asked surprised. "Aren't you angry to see me up at ten o, clock at night eating ice cream?" "Spike, I'd be angry if you didn't share!" Rainbow Dash replied smiling. Spike handed her a bucket of ice cream and he smiled. They ate so much they soon became drunk with sugar. At least one person reading this has done that in their life. "Yum...yum...yum...Ice cream goes down my throat." Rainbow Dash sang without realizing. "Sounds....Good to me throats and ice cream. Hey....Twilight...are you sure this.....Is OK?" Spike responded. "I'm not Twilight! I'm Rainbow....Dash.....A cool flash spell made us..Switch bodies." She laughed in return. "Huh? You and...Twilight did what now?" Spike asked sounding serious.
UGH Rainbow Dash woke up the next morning with a splitting headache. She looked at Spike who had a bucket of ice cream on his head. That made her chuckle slightly. "Spike, you have a bucket on your head!" Spike woke up with a jolt and the bucket flew across the room. They both burst into laughter when it hit the door. Then Rainbow Dash looked out the window and saw her body talking to Twilight's neighbors. "Uh Spike we've got trouble!" Rainbow Dash called to him. "Twilight's coming!" Spike immanently started to clean himself with wet paper towels, while Rainbow cleaned up the mess. They hurriedly cleaned the house top to bottom. When Rainbow Dash finished she ran to Twilight's bed and pretended to be asleep. Spike did the same with his. KNOCK! KNOCK! "Hello? Rainbow Dash Spike you there?" Twilight called. "Twilight, try to be quiet!" Rainbow Dash whispered harshly. "You almost woke Spike up! Even though I'm trapped in a wingless body I have some responsibility!" Twilight frowned at her. "I'm sorry I didn't know he was asleep. Anyways the picnic is soon." Rainbow Dash started to sweat. "Wha- um...Yeah Yeah of course I'll be there!" CRAP! Is it that late! Darn it Twilight! Rainbow Dash thought. Spike walked down the stairs to see the switched up friends. He gulped and started to run up the stairs, but he tripped and fell back down. "Spike, ph no!" Twilight yelled. She flew over to him to see a bruise. "Rainbow Dash!" "What? How is this my fault?! I thought he was upstairs asleep?!" Rainbow Dash yelled in return. She walked up to them and helped Spike up. "Spike aren’t you a little confused?" Twilight asked him curiously. "No, Rainbow Dash told me everything!" Spike exclaimed. Twilight gave Rainbow a stare that said:"Really Rainbow Dash?" She started to sweat a little. Rainbow Dash stared nervously at Twilight. "Well it's getting late. The others will start to wonder where we are. Now remember Rainbow and Spike we act like nothing happened." Twilight instructed calmly. "So I've just got to act like an egghead?" Rainbow Dash started to laugh, and Spike joined in. ________________________________________ Applejack, Pinkie pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity waited for their friends. They had the blanket spread out and the picnic basket on it. Applejack was asleep on the blanket snoring loudly. Pinkie pie was blowing up some balloons with a goofy grin on her face. Fluttershy was looking at the squirrels running up the trees. Lastly Rarity was making sure there were enough plates. "Look! There's Dashie in the sky!" Pinkie pie chirped. The others looked up to see "Rainbow Dash" flying towards them. They noticed something on her back. "Do any of y'all know what's on her back?" Applejack asked drowsily. "It looks like Spike." Rarity replied squinting at "Rainbow Dash" in the sky. "Spike, what is he doing on Dashie's back?" Pinkie asked trying to examine Spike on the blue pegasus's back. When "Rainbow Dash" (Twilight) landed she smiled at her friends. "Hi Rainbow Dash glad you are here!" They all said to her. "Hi- I mean sup slackers!" Twilight responded nervously. "Where's Twilight?" Fluttershy asked her. "She's right behind us!" Spike pointed behind them. "Twilight Sparkle" or Rainbow Dash was almost there. She was smiling as she walked towards her friends. When Rainbow Dash came up to them they greeted her happily. "Hello darling!" Rarity cooed to her. "Maybe after this we can get a hooficure!" Twilight nudged Rainbow Dash so she's say yes for her. "No!" Rainbow Dash whispered harshly. "Even though I'm in your body doesn't mean I do things that I don't want to do! I'm not getting a stupid hooficure just to make you happy. "Remember when I said I'd get payback for you hitting my body." Twilight whispered back. "I'm getting it now." The other ponies had already started their own conversations. They'd ignored Rainbow Dash and Twilight's conversation. "Hey Rarity," Twilight said calmly. "Yes Rainbow Dash?" She asked gleefully. "I'll take Twilight's place in getting a hooficure." The ponies stared at her. Especially Rainbow Dash who wasn't expecting this. Her jaw had dropped. I seriously had to say that. She thought with rage. Rarity smiled at Twilight. "Finally deciding to be like your real hero huh?!" Rarity exclaimed. "We can get makeovers! Oh Rainbow! I can't wait let's go now!" She grabbed Twilight and they ran off to the spa. "Well...Rainbow has changed." Applejack commented. "Maybe it's for the good!" Fluttershy said excitedly. Rainbow Dash couldn't take much more of this. She started to run towards the spa in anger. "Twilight, you forgot Spike!" Pinkie pie called. "Keep an eye on him!" Rainbow Dash yelled back. She had to hurry if she didn't want her body to be tampered with. Thinking about it made her shutter.
Switches and Glitches Switches and Glitches Rainbow Dash made it to the spa just in time. She ran in grabbed Twilight by her wing, and pulled her away from the front desk forcefully. They stared at each other with anger in their eyes. The other four ponies had followed them into the hallway of the spa. "What in tarnation is going on here?" Applejack yelled at them. Twilight and Rainbow Dash looked at her, and then the other three ponies. They decided to explain everything to them. From the beginning with the flashes to what had just happened. "Well that explains a lot," Rarity commented. "Well what are we going to do about this?" Fluttershy asked. They all fell silent. "Everypony, we all know this is Rainbow Dash's fault and-" Twilight started. "Hey!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "What are you angry about? It's obviously your fault!" Twilight responded with anger. "No it's not! You said that your job was harder than mine first!" Rainbow Dash argued. Pinkie pie got in between them before they ripped each other apart. They were trying to at least give the other a black eye. Then out of nowhere Twilight's horn (controlled by Rainbow Dash) started to glow. There was a blinding light of light blue and purple again. ________________________________________ Is it fixed? Am I me? Rainbow Dash thought frantically. She looked at her hooves, they were still purple. Wait, if we didn't change who did? She looked around the room and saw Applejack on the floor. Her eyes were covered as if she was scared. "Applejack are you alright?" Rainbow Dash asked walking towards her. "I'm fine!" Applejack called. The sound of her voice didn't come from her shivering on the floor. The sound came from across the room where Rarity was standing. "Why y'all looking at meh like that?" She asked Rainbow Dash nervously. "Applejack, you're Rarity!" Rainbow Dash yelled at her. Applejack examined herself. She walked across the room to her body shivering on the floor. Applejack took her hat and put it on. "That's better," She remarked happily. Twilight sat up and looked at Spike. He was jumping around and giggling. Something is not right here. Twilight thought still looking at Spike. "Um...Spike?" Twilight asked still examining him. "Oh! Hey Twilight! It's me Pinkie! Lookie here I'm a dragon!" It was Pinkie pie. She was giggling and jumping around in Spike's body. "Roar roar roar!" "Well then where's Spike?" Twilight asked curiously. Whoever was in Pinkie's body walked up to her. "Hey Twilight," Spike groaned. At least I know where Spike is, Twilight thought. Pinkie pie jumped over to Spike and giggled. "Oh my gosh! Isn't this great Spike?! EEE! I'm you and you're me!" "It's just great," Spike mumbled back. "Is it over? Can I look now?" They heard Fluttershy's voice in the distance. It was coming from a scared looking Applejack. She stood up and looked over herself. "Oh dear this isn’t right!" Lastly Rarity was in Fluttershy's body. She walked up to her. "Finally, I can do you're mane without you fidgeting! Too bad I couldn't be Rainbow Dash. She really needs help with her mess of a mane! Hey Twilight, can you make me Rainbow Dash next!" "It would be good for revenge," Twilight muttered. "So is that a yes?" Rarity asked impatiently. "I'll try to get her to put it on herself," Twilight whispered. Rarity cheered happily and gave Twilight a quick hug. Rainbow Dash and Applejack walked over to the others. "So what do we do now?" Applejack asked them. "Let’s go to the library. They probably have a book there!” Twilight responded quickly. ________________________________________ By time they got to the library Twilight's back (which is actually Rainbow Dash's) was aching. Rainbow Dash made sure her back wasn't broken. "Sorry Twilight. I guess I'm a lot heavier in Pinkie pie's body." Spike apologized to her. Twilight nodded as if to say:"It's alright Spike it's not your fault." "You should be sorry Spike!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "You could have broken my back!" Spike lowered his head sadly. He didn't mean to do any harm to his friend. "Rainbow Dash, this is no time to yell! Everypony get in the library!" Twilight barked to all of them. They all ran inside quickly not wanting to get on Twilight's bad side. When they got inside they tore apart the book shelves in anger. All of the ponies (and one dragon) wanted to find a cure. Pinkie pie tied some balloons to her (Spike's) waist. With the balloons tied she floated up to the top shelf. When she got there she threw down books to the others. "Hey! Look at this one!" Rarity called to them. The others trotted to her and looked at the book she had in her hooves. Twilight took the book and flipped a few pages. She smiled when she got to one page. "The spell of transformation, many say it's a curse others say it's a blessing. When two (or more) ponies argue. Also one has to be a powerful unicorn. If the fighting gets too vicious the unicorn's horn glows rapidly. Then there is a flash of the colors of ponies included." Twilight stopped to take a breath and continued. "When the ponies come out of this daze they are found in each other’s bodies. There is one cure to this. It is a long trip into the mountains of......" "Of where?" Applejack asked impatiently. "It doesn't say, there is only this map." Twilight responded holding up the map. The others observed the map. Spike jumped up realizing something. "There's a shaded in path on there!" He pointed out. "Good job Spike! Now we can be on our way." Twilight enthused. "Now everypony go to your homes and pack your saddlebags! We have to fix this quick!"
It Begins When the ponies gathered in the middle of Ponyville they looked a little funny. Since they were trapped in each other’s bodies they were wearing their own saddlebags. Of course they had the cutie marks on them. So it looked a little strange to see Pinkie pie (in Spike's body) wearing her saddlebags. "Is everyone here?" Fluttershy asked nervously. "Yup we're all here!" Pinkie Pie called. "Okay good let's head out," Twilight told them. They started to follow the path that was labeled on the map. Rainbow Dash scouted ahead to see the Everfree forest in front of her. "This is our first stop." Twilight started to trot into the forest. "The Everfree forest!” Fluttershy cried. She ducked her head in her hooves again and Rainbow Dash sighed. She grabbed Fluttershy and dragged her along. Fluttershy tried to struggle from her friend's grasp, but she wasn't that strong. She decided to just be dragged. They were walking along until Spike tripped and fell down a hole. He was too stunned to speak he just fell. "Spike!" all of the ponies shouted. Applejack went into her saddle bag and got a rope. She tied it around her waist (Rarity's waist) and tied it to a rock. "Make sure it doesn't come untied!" Applejack called to her friends. "Wait Applejack," Rarity shouted. Applejack looked at her. "Make sure that rope doesn't scratch up my coat! I had just got it done a few days ago." Applejack sighed and ignored her comment. She jumped into the hole to save Spike. CRASH! "OW! Rarity's body isn't tough enough. My body can take a beating!" Applejack muttered. She stood up and looked around. I must be in a underground cave, She thought while she looked. "Help help help!" It was Spike! Applejack ran and she tripped at least seven times. Rarity's hooves were slippery from being polished earlier, so it didn't help. "Don't worry Spike I'll get yah!" She shouted after tripping again. Applejack ran to the sound of Spike's screams. She found him tied up on the floor trying to get out. "Rarity, uh I mean Applejack!" Spike shouted happily. "Never call me Rarity again," Applejack growled at him. Spike chuckled and Applejack untied him. Then she tied him to the other rope and they went up to the others. The other smiled when they saw the two coming up. "We were so worried!" Twilight commented. She ran to Spike and hugged him. "Twilight you're basically hugging Pinkie," Spike told her. Twilight blushed at this awkward moment and stepped back. The other six laughed at the look on Twilight's face. They walked farther without any struggling. The quest to become themselves again has only just begun. There were many more dangers on the other side of the forest. They were just waiting for ponies to come. The mane six and Spike are the next ones to suffer the dangers.. For now they had other things to worry about. “Applejack, you got my coat all dirty!” Rarity complained. “Why is it even a bother? You can take a shower when this is all over. Plus since I’m in use of your body I can do what I want with it,” Applejack replied. “Can’t you believe it was these ponies who tried to stop Twilight and I from fighting. Now they’re fighting it’s strange.” Rainbow Dash commented while walking past them. Rarity and Applejack shrugged and stopped arguing. “Okay this upcoming path goes in three different directions,” Twilight announced. “Spike, Rainbow Dash, and I will go down the middle. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie will go to the left. Finally Applejack and Rarity will go to the right. Are we all in agreement?” They all nodded and went the way they were instructed to go.
The Paths Rarity and Applejack walked down their assigned path. I was a little brighter down this one, and there were birds chirping. The birds flew towards Rarity thinking that she was Fluttershy. She tried to shoo away the birds, but they were gathering around her head. Rarity screamed for them to go away. She ran to get them off. In the meantime Applejack was rolling on the ground cracking up. When the birds finally went away Rarity looked at Applejack. "Get off of the ground! You already messed up my coat from the rope. I don't need my mane messed up!" "Have y'all looked in a mirror? You messed Fluttershy's body up and you're yelling at me?" Applejack's comeback made herself snicker. "Yes you're right," Rarity responded. She jumped on top of Applejack, and started to attack. Applejack flipped Rarity over easily and started to walk again. "You don't want to hurt yourself," Applejack chuckled. Rarity stood up and followed her friend with a smile. They kept walking until they reached a big bunch of trees. When they got past the trees they saw a beach. The ocean was beautiful...On most days. This day however the waves were dangerously high and rough. "Today looks like a perfect day to swim," Applejack joked. The two laughed and sat down on the sand. "The others might end up here too. We might as well wait." Meanwhile Pinkie pie and Fluttershy were walking down their assigned path. This path was darker and no animals were in their field of vision. Fluttershy was crawling through holding onto Pinkie pie's (Spike's) tail. If you were walking up to them it would look like this: Applejack crawling on the ground with Fluttershy's saddlebags on. Then you would see her holding onto Spike's tail in fear. "This isn't so bad!" Pinkie pie shouted happily. Fluttershy looked up and shook her head. "There's no need to be scared Flutters!" Fluttershy shivered even though Pinkie tried to comfort her. "Well...There are.... Unknown things.... In this forest...." Fluttershy cried softly to Pinkie pie. "There's nothing to be scared of," Pinkie pie reassured. Soon enough a stick fell on Fluttershy’s head. She screamed and ran for her life. Pinkie pie ran after her in a hurry. She found Fluttershy stuck in a bush. "H-help," Fluttershy stuttered. "Fluttershy, you're in a bush!" Pinkie pie was cracking up ignoring the fact that her friend was stuck. "Um can you help?" Fluttershy asked. Pinkie pie nodded and pulled her out. They both fell and went past a big bunch of trees. Fluttershy screamed in midair while Pinkie whooped and hollered. They fell with a crash on top of Applejack and Rarity. "Oh hey y'all," Applejack greeted. "Where are Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Spike?" Fluttershy asked nervously. "They're still going down the middle path," Rarity explained. "Then we will wait!" Pinkie pie exclaimed. Meanwhile the last three were walking down their assigned path. Rainbow Dash groaned looking at whom she was stuck with which didn't make her too happy. "Twilight, why did you want me to go with you and Spike?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight looked at her feeling annoyed already. "You have my magic, I don't want it going off again like before. No thanks to you." "To me?" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Yes, you were controlling my horn," Twilight responded calmly. "I didn't do it purposely!" "You're still using it!" "Stop!" Spike shouted at them. "You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. You guys are best friends! You don't need to fight like this!" Rainbow Dash started to walk away from the group. She was getting fed up with Twilight. Rainbow Dash kept walking until she realized she was on the edge of a cliff. She looked over to see the other four sitting on a beach laughing. "Rainbow Dash you jerk!" Twilight hollered. She was running up the cliff to where Rainbow Dash was. By this time the others were walking towards the two. Twilight ran towards Rainbow Dash quickly. Rainbow Dash jumped out of the way and Twilight fell. "Twilight!" all of the ponies shouted (including Spike). Twilight screamed before she hit the water with a splash. They stood in shock looking at the ocean. Rainbow Dash jumped off the cliff after her. "Rainbow Dash no!" The others tried to stop her, but it was too late. "Wha-what do we do?" Fluttershy cried. "There's only one thing to do." Applejack replied. She took off her hat and looked at the ocean. She jumped off and closed her eyes tightly. "She's right," Rarity sighed. She led the others into the ocean. "Yes we're going swimming!" Pinkie pie yelled while she fell. "It's going to be much fun!" Spike screamed. All of them yelled as they fell. Saving their friends was important, and they would do whatever it took. Rainbow Dash and Twilight were good friends of theirs, so they must be saved.
Dear Princess Celestia Princess Celestia was sitting in her room. Then a letter arrived for her. She opened it up and started to read it: Dear Princess Celestia, A few days ago Twilight and I got into a fight. It caused her to mess up a spell and it made us switch bodies. It wasn't too long until the others switch too. We have a learned a lesson from this little mix up (me especially). I learned that to be a good friend is to always be kind and caring to your friends. Even if you're angry at your friend. If your friend is in a jam never remember the fights, think about your friend. Your faithful subject, Rainbow Dash Princess Celestia put down the letter and smiled. She was remembering a fillyhood incident somewhat like this. It just made her happy.
Waves Crash Rainbow Dash stuck her head above the water and got a gasp of air. She started to swim where she had seen Twilight fall. The waves made Rainbow Dash spin. She went under the water and she felt a pull. Rainbow Dash pulled in return until Twilight was in her hooves. "Twilight, wake up!" She shouted at her. Twilight coughed and opened her eyes. "Rainbow Dash... You saved my life!" Twilight yelled with glee. They looked at each other happily. They knew that their feud was over. They could finally work this problem out without fighting constantly. "This calls for a party!" Pinkie pie's voice was heard from a few feet away. They turned around to see Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, and Spike. They smiled and hugged Rainbow Dash and Twilight. They were all so happy. For a moment there they forgot about the whole body swap thing. They decided to get onto land, and then they started to have a party. Pinkie pie started a limbo contest. "This is so much fun!" Fluttershy enthused. "Yeah, I knew it was a good idea to party!" Pinkie pie responded. "It really gets your mind off of things," Twilight commented. They partied into the night with screams of joy filling the air. They started a bonfire after the sun went down, and they started to chat. "So, how are we supposed to turn back?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I'm not sure. The map says the cure is supposed to be right here." Twilight responded pointing at the map. "Then how do we turn back?" Rarity asked. "I guess we don't," Spike responded sadly. "I guess we should go back to Ponyville," Applejack told them. The other nodded knowing it was right. They got their saddlebags back on and started to walk back. All of them went through the big bunch of trees and walked down the path. None of them said a word to each other. Twilight lead the way back to Ponyville. It was going to be a long trip back. They got to Ponyville around midnight. When they got to Twilight's house they fell asleep on her floor. It was too dark to see anything that night, so Twilight didn't see the others fall asleep on her floor. She just went upstairs and fell asleep. Twilight woke up on her floor. She looked around to see the body swapped ponies around her. Applejack's body started to move. Twilight knew Fluttershy controlled it, so there was nothing to worry about. "What's fer breakfast?" Fluttershy mumbled. Twilight knew it was Fluttershy, but it didn't sound like her. "Fluttershy?" Twilight asked nervously. "Who ya callin' Fluttershy?" She asked in return. "Applejack, you're in your body again!" Twilight shouted happily. Applejack looked at herself and smiled. "You are too Twilight." Twilight looked at herself and grinned. "Yes I am!" Rainbow Dash stumbled down the stairs from Twilight's room. She looked at Twilight and Applejack and waved her hoof at them. She sat down with them. "I'm me!" Rainbow Dash shouted. She hugged her friends and smiled.
