Daniel "Dano" Masset is an average college kid in an average college, but after an accident that leaves him on death's door he is placed in a prototype machine. He slips into a coma as his family waits for him to heal, but a terrible disease destroys humanity as he sleeps. Dano awakes to an empty world and he sets out to survive, but an encounter with a shy woman with long pink hair soon drags him into a war for survival even bigger than he expected.
