Again...Techno paced in the Canterlot throne room, Princess Celestia, Luna and... He gulped. Twilight Sparkle was standing right in front of him. "So, can I go now..?" Prince Techno looked down at the ground, shuffling his hooves. "Of course." Celestia replied. Techno smiled before bowing. He started to walk away and Twilight started walking beside the black and navy blue alicorn. "What was that all about..?" She asked, punching him lightly in the arm. He looked at her, his heart began to pound. He's been feeling like this for a while now, but he didn't know why. He couldn't put his hoof on it. This always happened when he saw Twilight. They walked down the hallway in silence. "What's wrong..?" Twilight finally said. "Are you mad at me..? You haven't talked to me for weeks now..." "I don't know what’s going on with my head... This pony I know, she keeps on finding her way into my head..." Twilight blinked and giggled. "Sounds as if you're in love." Techno blushed furiously at that comment; he had never thought of that before...In love..? With my best friend? He asked himself. "Who is it?" the question caught him off guard and he looked at her blankly. "I-" He looked down at his hooves. "Can't tell anyone." A forced smile appeared on his face. "Uh huh..." Twilight grinned. "Or can you just not tell me?" She turned her head so that they were face to face, their muzzles touching. "Uh, uhm..." His face was flushed red now. Twilight pulled away, giggling. "You should see the look on your face." she smiled warmly. "Very funny..." techno frowned, pushing her over. *** He stepped back into his house and he plopped down onto his couch. “Ugh...” He looked up at his ceiling. “Why does everything have to be so complicated...” The black and blue colt groaned rolling over to his side. He clicked on the TV with his magic and watched for a few hours, almost dozing off before his door bell rung. He scrambled to his hooves and opened the door. He peeked out the door and saw some pony he hadn’t for a while. “Why hello Doctor Whooves.” Techno greeted. “Please do come in.” He moved so that the Doctor could get in. They sat in the dining room and Techno was the first to speak. “What brought you to Canterlot Mr. Whooves?” He asked. “I need help with something prince Techno.” The stallion replied, taking a sip of the tea that Techno had gotten him moments before. “Of course, anything...” Techno said getting to his hooves. “Tomorrow?” Whooves nodded. “Until then, good day to you sir.” Doctor Whooves said before exiting the house. Techno watched him and smiled slightly. “I wonder...” Techno pondered and shrugged it off. He trotted into his research room and pulled out a book, beginning to read it over. Around 12:00am he turned out the light and walked upstairs to his room, the dark still gave him the creeps, but he didn’t mind. He leaped into his bed and looked outside. “Luna has been doing a wonderful job lately...” He smiled before falling asleep. *** The next morning Techno’s eyes fluttered open. He stretched out his wings, yawning loudly. His eyes gleamed as he looked at the time. Getting to all fours he trotted downstairs. He walked outside, inhaling the fresh air and he began to move in the direction of where Twilight was standing. “Hello.” He said, standing next to her. “Hi.” Twilight smiled. “How are you today?” She asked. “Good. You?” “I’m fine.” Twilight looked him in the eyes. “Have you seen Dr. Whooves?” Techno tilted his head. Twilight shook her head, no. It was happening again. Techno turned his head and frowned. “I just... Don’t want to hang out with you anymore Twilight...” “Then why did you come to me!?” Twilight growled. “I don’t know! It hurts my head to think about you at all! More or less to see you!” He said an edge to his tone. Twilight flinched. “Fine then...” Tears welled up in her eyes. “What happened to you..?” She asked him before whirling around, shooting up into the sky like a bullet. Techno watched, wide eyes realizing what he said, and what it sounded like he meant. His tail drooped and he heard clopping of hooves coming his way. “Good day Techno.” Whooves greeted the slumped over colt. “Something the matter?” He asked. Techno shook his head. “Let’s go...” techno sighed and he stood up. They got to a large meadow and Techno looked around. “Huh?” He saw a phone booth like thing and recognized it. “You still have the Tardis?” “Yeah, but I need help fixing it.” Whooves walked towards the machine, gesturing for Techno to follow him. “So you want me to go in there and re-wire it?” Whooves nodded. “Exactly correct.” Techno rolled his eyes, stepping into the Tardis. He pulled out some fried wires, replacing them with new ones and smiled slightly. He finished a few minutes later and whipped sweat from his face. “Abort! Get out now!” Whooves called. “Something’s going on! You might have pulled a wrong wi-“Techno didn't get to hear the rest, before being plunged into total darkness. He blinked rapidly as he saw himself underneath some familiar trees. He shook his head, fully waking up and he looked around. Techno saw nothing but trees and he quickly got up to all fours. He hid behind trees as he worked his way towards canterlot and he gasped as he saw ponies in armour march by the tree he was hiding behind. He slipped out from behind it and continued on. He reached the edge of the forest and looked out. Everything in Canterlot was either on fire or ruins! What happened here...? Something grabbed the back of his scruff, tugging him backwards. He cowered on the ground, seeing 3 pairs of hooves standing in front of him. He looked up, two of the ponies were wearing all metal and the one in the middle was wearing a tattered black suit, a head band wrapped around a messy mane and an eye patch on one of her eyes. “Twilight..?” Techno asked, looking up at the familiar mare. Chapter 3: Moving inThat took Techno off guard. “Who said I wanted to join?!" He asked, his ears flattening. "I did, you need somewhere to stay, don't you?" Twilight looked around. She seemed to be shaking, Techno couldn't blame her. It was going to rain Techno could feel it. “Yeah... I guess.” He said. Twilight smiled and her gaze drifted off into the sky. “Let’s get going.” Twilight turned around and walked deeper into the forest. Techno felt drips of rain starting to fall and he frowned. His blue eyes locked on the mare that trotted beside him and he smiled. “What?” Twilight asked then sneezed. “Nothing.” Techno chuckled and extended a wing over his friend. She looked up at him in shock but made no effort to speak; she didn’t want to break the silence, mostly because there might have been a patrol around. About ten minutes later, a building came into view; it looked like it was a 3 floor house, quite worn down by the looks of it. Five ponies were guarding the outside. “Who are they?” Techno looked at Twilight, whom was still under his wing. “Uh... You’ll see.” She snapped out of a daze and smiled weakly. They approached the five; and Twilight nodded. They took off their helmets and Techno grinned at the sight of his friends. Rainbow dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack. Rainbow dash had a scar going down her left eye. Her body was covered with shining, silver armour, and a smirk was plastered on the mares face. Apple jack had a saddle bag, most likely filled with ammo. She had a knife strapped to her left hind leg and the thing that surprised Techno the most, was that Applejack wasn’t wearing her pappy’s hat. Rarity looked about the same, but her mane was in a braid. Fluttershy seemed to have black streaks in her mane and she had pistol in her hooves. She had a leather helmet on her back and she peeked through her mane at the colt. Now Pinkie pie, her mane was straight and she wore a frown. This had Techno by surprise; he had never seen his friend like this. “You most likely know who these are.” Twilight spoke after he finished examining the five guards in front of them. Techno nodded and smiled, his gaze returning to the five mares. Rainbow dash stepped forward, her smirk still planted on her face. “Wow Twi, you just found this guy and you’re already close to him!” Twilight blushed and looked up at Techno, who snapped his wing back to his side. “Uh, I could tell she was getting kind of cold so I...” He trailed off. “I’m playing, recruit.” Rainbow laughed and she trotted up to him. “What’s your name?” “Techno, prince Techno.” Techno replied. “Ah, a prince.” Rainbow dash winked at Twilight, who looked away quickly. “Stop teasin’ dash.” Applejack punched her friend in the shoulder. “But it’s fun!” Rainbow grinned, pushing the farmer over. “GIRLS!” Twilight yelled. “Stop. What if someone hears you?” Twilight glared. “You would have us all killed!” Techno flinched as he watched the purple mare. “Relax Twilight.” Rainbow dash’s eyes were unusually calm. “We haven’t had a patrol come by in weeks.” “I know but we can’t be sure.” Twilight sighed. “I would love for us to stop guarding the hide out.” She turned to Techno. “As for you, do you know how to use a gun?” Techno shook his head. “Never needed to use one.” Twilight rolled her eyes. “That means I’ll have to teach you.” The others nodded and Rainbow dash threw a gun at him. Techno levitated the gun up to his face to examine it. “We call it G.G.” Rainbow spoke after a bit. “What does that mean?” Techno raised an eyebrow. “Glowing Galil.” Rainbow dash replied. Chapter 4: BattleTechno grinned at the name. “Cool.” He said holding it up with his hooves. The gun had a long nozzle and when Techno looked through the scope, he could see past most of the trees. “Enhanced zoom?” Rainbow dash nodded. Her rainbow mane covered her eye as she watched him. Parts of the gun glowed and Techno could guess that’s how it got its name. “Do you know how to fire it?” Twilight asked. She stepped closer to him. “Yeah. I guess so.” “Do you know how to reload?” Techno shook his head. “Here, I’ll show you.” Twilight smiled, taking the gun out of his hooves. “Wait idea.” Her machete appeared in front of her and she grinned slightly. “Here, you should actually use melee weapons for now.” Techno smiled as his horn glowed red. He swung the machete and he nodded. “Sir, Techno is it? Shall we duel?” Came a voice from behind him. He turned around to see Rarity and he smiled. “You sure about that?” Techno asked. She nodded. “Alright then...” Techno jumped back and got ready. “Three. Two. One. GO!” Rainbow dash called out. Rarity dashed forward and made a basic jab towards him. Techno dodged the attack, swinging the blade which hit the metal of Rarity’s sword. Rarity jumped back and swung her sword at him. He just barely caught the blade with the hilt of the machete and sent the blade back to Rarity. He slashed at the unicorn once more, getting her lightly on the cheek. “First blood!” Rainbow cheered. “Prince Techno wins the battle.” Rarity panted and smiled, trotting up to him. “Well done.” She commented. “Hmm... You don’t look too bad for a stray too.” She said examining the colt. Rainbow dash flew up to him. “That was so awesome!” She grinned. “Thanks.” Techno smiled. He shuffled his hooves nervously, looking up at the mare. “Alright girls, give him some space.” Twilight frowned. “He is a new recruit, let him settle in.” “I have a question Twilight.” Techno said. “Yeah?” “Well, since I dimension hopped, does this mean you have your brother Shining armour?” He asked. Twilight looked at him; an expression of sadness had swept over the mares face. “Had.” Techno’s ears flattened. “Oh.” He looked down at the ground. “I’m sorry.” “What about Flash sentry?” This time Twilight’s face had the expression of fury. “Don’t you EVER speak of that backstabbing bastard again you hear me?” Her face whirled around to meet his. Techno gulped nodding. “Good.” Twilight went back to normal and she walked into the house. Techno trailed behind her. “First let’s find you a room.” Twilight started walking up the stairs, each step she took the stairs creaked. She started trotting slower and she wobbled slightly. “You okay?” Techno asked. “Yeah.” She replied. They got to the top and she looked around. “No pony is really on this floor, just me and my friends.” Twilight said. She entered a room and Techno sneezed. “Damn it’s dusty in here.” He frowned. Twilight nodded. “But once you clean it up it’ll be fine.” “Okay.” “Let’s continue our tour shall we?” *** About an hour later they finished the tour in the armoury. Techno looked around at all the weapons and suits. “You collect weapons from Celestia’s patrols I assume?” Techno looked over at Twilight. “Eyuup.” She made an impression of Applejack’s older brother big Macintosh. She looked at the armour and levitated a set of armour over to Techno. “Try this on” “Okay.” Techno looked over the set. It was all black with a red marking on the forehead of the helmet. “That is the symbol of the rebellion.” “I take it this is all custom?” He fit the armour on. It fit well and he saw Twilight smile. “Yes. You actually look good in that. Slimming.” Techno grinned. “Really?” He saw Twilight’s face go a light shade of pink. “Yeah.” “Well. Thanks.” Techno stepped closer to her. “That means a lot.” He leaned in and closed his eyes. Twilight did the same. “Hey guys what’s up!?” Rainbow dash burst in. “AH!” twilight fell backwards, a light blush on her face. “Wha-?” Rainbow dash raised an eyebrow before a look of realization swept over her face. A grin spread from ear to ear and she laughed. “Whoops!” “So Techno here IS your special somepony eh?” Rainbow looked over the colt who also was blushing and he looked away quickly. “N- No.” He said. The alicorn stepped back and Rainbow dash lifted his chin with her hoof. “I can see it in your eyes.” She laughed. Techno gazed off into the mare’s rosy eyes and he frowned. “No.” “Whatever you say, new guy.” She sung. Twilight face hoofed. “How old are you again sergeant?” “Two.” Rainbow dash replied with a snicker. “Alright, two year olds get stripped of their flying privileges then.” The purple mare said. “N-No! Anything but that!” Rainbow dash landed. “Go see Spade.” Twilight ordered. Rainbow dashes face lit up. “I haven’t talked to him in a while.” She said thoughtfully. “Okay.” And with that, she was out the room. “Rainbow dash...” Techno and Twilight both sighed. Twilight looked over at the colt and giggled. “Now that we’re done with the tour, it’s about lunch time; we should go back to the dining room.” Twilight said and started towards the door. “Coming?” “Yep.” Techno said before catching up to her. *** They sat at the table, Techno at one end of it, Twilight at the other. Every pony else surrounded the table. It was a few minutes before dishes were whisked across the table to every pony. Salad was on each of the plates with an apple beside of course. “Today’s supper goes to Techno, our newest recruit.” Every pony cheered. Now that Techno got a closer look at every one, he noticed there were more than just three alicorns. There where at least five. One was red with a navy blue mane. He recognized her. And then there was an all-white one. Twilight must have noticed him looking at the two. “This is game dancer,” She gestured to the red mare. “And this is frost.” She pointed to the white colt. “They are both generals.” Chapter 5: Cleaning dutiesGamedacer smiled, her green eyes locked on to the colt. “I know this is kind of rude, but you kind of remind me of my brother...” She said. Techno’s heart stopped. So there’s a second me here..? The colt snapped out of the thought. “Yes. You also remind me of my sister,” He replied. Techno looked around the table before every one began to eat. The colt quickly finished his food and servants took his plate, retreating to the kitchen. “May I be excused?” Techno asked and Twilight nodded. He trotted out of the room and up the stairs, careful not to fall through. He entered his bedroom and looked around, the walls were grey and cobwebs decorated the corners. All that there was in the room, was a dusty bed and wardrobe. He opened the doors to the closet, and immediately fell back when thousands of bugs scattered. “Ack!” He cried and landed on his hind. “Are you okay?” A voice came, and his gaze was drawn to the doorway. Twilight was standing there, Techno still couldn’t get over the head band, hair and eye patch but he tried to ignore it. “Yeah, I’m fine...” He sighed and got to his hooves. “I was just going to clean this room up.” He said. “Can I help you..?” Twilight asked. Techno was quite surprised by the mare, but also expected it. It was Twilight after all. “Of course...” He said before his horn started glowing red. He began to get rid of all the cobwebs, while Twilight started sweeping. **** After a few hours they had finished, and Techno plopped down onto his bed. “Finally!” He breathed. “Yeah...” Twilight sat next to him. “I don’t think I could have gotten it done without you, Twi.” He said looking up at the mare. He noticed that she had taken off the head band, and her hair was matted to her head with sweat. “Here, let me help you...” He said and his horn glowed. He levitated a brush over to her, and brushed her hair back to its normal cut. Her old normal cut anyways... She looked up at him with curiosity, and trotted over to a mirror. “I...” She began. Techno stopped her. “Hey, it’s the least I could do.” “I... Thank you...” She sighed. “I haven’t had this mane cut for years...” Her gaze rested on him. Techno trotted up to the mare, and smiled weakly. “You look amazing with any mane cut.” He said. Twilight blushed slightly, and looked out the window. “Curfew is in a few minutes.” She whispered. “Curfew..?” “The lights need to be out by a certain time, patrols come by most at night.” “But Rainbow said-“ Twilight rolled her eyes. “During the day,” She said. “During night is different.” “Yeah...” Twilight trotted out of the room, flicking the light off and closing the door behind her. Techno blushed as he realized he had watched her leave. “She didn’t see anything so I’m fine.” He declared falling back onto the bed. **** The next morning, Techno woke to the sound of a trumpet and he fell off his bed. He looked up groggily, to see a blue mare standing in front of him. “Good morning recruit; I’m your battle trainer for today.” Rainbow Dash grinned. “Alrighty, captain.” Techno said, getting to his hooves. They stood in the courtyard, and Rainbow Dash threw a sword over to Techno. He caught it in his mouth, and Rainbow held hers in her hoof. It had a strap to go around her hoof to keep it in place. “Ready?” She asked the colt. “Yep.” He smiled and took a ready pose. “Right, Three, two one!” She said and dashed forward. Techno started to panic now, then he realized. "You really don't know me... Do you..?" Twilight shook her head. "Look kid, we don't need more ponies trying to kill us alright? So we'll make this quick." A machete appeared in front of the alicorn and she held it to Techno's throat. He clenched his eyes close and he waited for the end. He felt the earth shift violently underneath them and he opened his eyes quickly. "Every pony find cover!" Twilight commanded as the ponies scrambled to shelter. Twilight grabbed Techno's arm and dived into a near-by ditch. "What-" Techno started before Twilight clasped a hoof over his mouth. She held her other hoof to her mouth, indicating that she was telling him to be quiet, Techno nodded as he moved her hoof. "What's going on" he whispered. "Celestia's patrol." Twilight replied quietly. Techno raised an eyebrow. "Why are you hiding then?" "You must be one of them lucky ones." Twilight sighed. "Celestia is trying to kill me and my friends, how do you not know about that..?" She looked at him curiously. "Well... I was helping Doctor Whooves with the Tardis-" He was cut off by the purple mare. "Doctor Whooves died like...Ten months ago. How is that possible?" "You're not as smart as you used to be Twi. There are multiple doctors for each dimension." Techno rolled his eyes. "You aren't suggesting you dimension hopped now are you?" Twilight's ears flattened. "I did." Techno Replied. Twilight frowned and she turned her back to him. Techno looked over the edge of the ditch. "I think they're gone." He said. Twilight nodded, climbing out of the ditch and she held out a hoof. About ten minutes later, a building came into view; it looked like it was a 3 floor house, quite worn down by the looks of it. Five ponies were guarding the outside. “Who are they?” Techno looked at Twilight, whom was still under his wing. “Uh... You’ll see.” She snapped out of a daze and smiled weakly. They approached the five; and Twilight nodded. They took off their helmets and Techno grinned at the sight of his friends. Rainbow dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack. Rainbow dash had a scar going down her left eye. Her body was covered with shining, silver armour, and a smirk was plastered on the mares face. Apple jack had a saddle bag, most likely filled with ammo. She had a knife strapped to her left hind leg and the thing that surprised Techno the most, was that Applejack wasn’t wearing her pappy’s hat. Rarity looked about the same, but her mane was in a braid. Fluttershy seemed to have black streaks in her mane and she had pistol in her hooves. She had a leather helmet on her back and she peeked through her mane at the colt. Now Pinkie pie, her mane was straight and she wore a frown. This had Techno by surprise; he had never seen his friend like this. “You most likely know who these are.” Twilight spoke after he finished examining the five guards in front of them. Techno nodded and smiled, his gaze returning to the five mares. Rainbow dash stepped forward, her smirk still planted on her face. “Wow Twi, you just found this guy and you’re already close to him!” Twilight blushed and looked up at Techno, who snapped his wing back to his side. “Uh, I could tell she was getting kind of cold so I...” He trailed off. “I’m playing, recruit.” Rainbow laughed and she trotted up to him. “What’s your name?” “Techno, prince Techno.” Techno replied. “Ah, a prince.” Rainbow dash winked at Twilight, who looked away quickly. “Stop teasin’ dash.” Applejack punched her friend in the shoulder. “But it’s fun!” Rainbow grinned, pushing the farmer over. “GIRLS!” Twilight yelled. “Stop. What if someone hears you?” Twilight glared. “You would have us all killed!” Techno flinched as he watched the purple mare. “Relax Twilight.” Rainbow dash’s eyes were unusually calm. “We haven’t had a patrol come by in weeks.” “I know but we can’t be sure.” Twilight sighed. “I would love for us to stop guarding the hide out.” She turned to Techno. “As for you, do you know how to use a gun?” Techno shook his head. “Never needed to use one.” Twilight rolled her eyes. “That means I’ll have to teach you.” The others nodded and Rainbow dash threw a gun at him. Techno levitated the gun up to his face to examine it. “We call it G.G.” Rainbow spoke after a bit. “What does that mean?” Techno raised an eyebrow. “Glowing Galil.” Rainbow dash replied.
Chapter 4: BattleTechno grinned at the name. “Cool.” He said holding it up with his hooves. The gun had a long nozzle and when Techno looked through the scope, he could see past most of the trees. “Enhanced zoom?” Rainbow dash nodded. Her rainbow mane covered her eye as she watched him. Parts of the gun glowed and Techno could guess that’s how it got its name. “Do you know how to fire it?” Twilight asked. She stepped closer to him. “Yeah. I guess so.” “Do you know how to reload?” Techno shook his head. “Here, I’ll show you.” Twilight smiled, taking the gun out of his hooves. “Wait idea.” Her machete appeared in front of her and she grinned slightly. “Here, you should actually use melee weapons for now.” Techno smiled as his horn glowed red. He swung the machete and he nodded. “Sir, Techno is it? Shall we duel?” Came a voice from behind him. He turned around to see Rarity and he smiled. “You sure about that?” Techno asked. She nodded. “Alright then...” Techno jumped back and got ready. “Three. Two. One. GO!” Rainbow dash called out. Rarity dashed forward and made a basic jab towards him. Techno dodged the attack, swinging the blade which hit the metal of Rarity’s sword. Rarity jumped back and swung her sword at him. He just barely caught the blade with the hilt of the machete and sent the blade back to Rarity. He slashed at the unicorn once more, getting her lightly on the cheek. “First blood!” Rainbow cheered. “Prince Techno wins the battle.” Rarity panted and smiled, trotting up to him. “Well done.” She commented. “Hmm... You don’t look too bad for a stray too.” She said examining the colt. Rainbow dash flew up to him. “That was so awesome!” She grinned. “Thanks.” Techno smiled. He shuffled his hooves nervously, looking up at the mare. “Alright girls, give him some space.” Twilight frowned. “He is a new recruit, let him settle in.” “I have a question Twilight.” Techno said. “Yeah?” “Well, since I dimension hopped, does this mean you have your brother Shining armour?” He asked. Twilight looked at him; an expression of sadness had swept over the mares face. “Had.” Techno’s ears flattened. “Oh.” He looked down at the ground. “I’m sorry.” “What about Flash sentry?” This time Twilight’s face had the expression of fury. “Don’t you EVER speak of that backstabbing bastard again you hear me?” Her face whirled around to meet his. Techno gulped nodding. “Good.” Twilight went back to normal and she walked into the house. Techno trailed behind her. “First let’s find you a room.” Twilight started walking up the stairs, each step she took the stairs creaked. She started trotting slower and she wobbled slightly. “You okay?” Techno asked. “Yeah.” She replied. They got to the top and she looked around. “No pony is really on this floor, just me and my friends.” Twilight said. She entered a room and Techno sneezed. “Damn it’s dusty in here.” He frowned. Twilight nodded. “But once you clean it up it’ll be fine.” “Okay.” “Let’s continue our tour shall we?” *** About an hour later they finished the tour in the armoury. Techno looked around at all the weapons and suits. “You collect weapons from Celestia’s patrols I assume?” Techno looked over at Twilight. “Eyuup.” She made an impression of Applejack’s older brother big Macintosh. She looked at the armour and levitated a set of armour over to Techno. “Try this on” “Okay.” Techno looked over the set. It was all black with a red marking on the forehead of the helmet. “That is the symbol of the rebellion.” “I take it this is all custom?” He fit the armour on. It fit well and he saw Twilight smile. “Yes. You actually look good in that. Slimming.” Techno grinned. “Really?” He saw Twilight’s face go a light shade of pink. “Yeah.” “Well. Thanks.” Techno stepped closer to her. “That means a lot.” He leaned in and closed his eyes. Twilight did the same. “Hey guys what’s up!?” Rainbow dash burst in. “AH!” twilight fell backwards, a light blush on her face. “Wha-?” Rainbow dash raised an eyebrow before a look of realization swept over her face. A grin spread from ear to ear and she laughed. “Whoops!” “So Techno here IS your special somepony eh?” Rainbow looked over the colt who also was blushing and he looked away quickly. “N- No.” He said. The alicorn stepped back and Rainbow dash lifted his chin with her hoof. “I can see it in your eyes.” She laughed. Techno gazed off into the mare’s rosy eyes and he frowned. “No.” “Whatever you say, new guy.” She sung. Twilight face hoofed. “How old are you again sergeant?” “Two.” Rainbow dash replied with a snicker. “Alright, two year olds get stripped of their flying privileges then.” The purple mare said. “N-No! Anything but that!” Rainbow dash landed. “Go see Spade.” Twilight ordered. Rainbow dashes face lit up. “I haven’t talked to him in a while.” She said thoughtfully. “Okay.” And with that, she was out the room. “Rainbow dash...” Techno and Twilight both sighed. Twilight looked over at the colt and giggled. “Now that we’re done with the tour, it’s about lunch time; we should go back to the dining room.” Twilight said and started towards the door. “Coming?” “Yep.” Techno said before catching up to her. *** They sat at the table, Techno at one end of it, Twilight at the other. Every pony else surrounded the table. It was a few minutes before dishes were whisked across the table to every pony. Salad was on each of the plates with an apple beside of course. “Today’s supper goes to Techno, our newest recruit.” Every pony cheered. Now that Techno got a closer look at every one, he noticed there were more than just three alicorns. There where at least five. One was red with a navy blue mane. He recognized her. And then there was an all-white one. Twilight must have noticed him looking at the two. “This is game dancer,” She gestured to the red mare. “And this is frost.” She pointed to the white colt. “They are both generals.”
Chapter 5: Cleaning dutiesGamedacer smiled, her green eyes locked on to the colt. “I know this is kind of rude, but you kind of remind me of my brother...” She said. Techno’s heart stopped. So there’s a second me here..? The colt snapped out of the thought. “Yes. You also remind me of my sister,” He replied. Techno looked around the table before every one began to eat. The colt quickly finished his food and servants took his plate, retreating to the kitchen. “May I be excused?” Techno asked and Twilight nodded. He trotted out of the room and up the stairs, careful not to fall through. He entered his bedroom and looked around, the walls were grey and cobwebs decorated the corners. All that there was in the room, was a dusty bed and wardrobe. He opened the doors to the closet, and immediately fell back when thousands of bugs scattered. “Ack!” He cried and landed on his hind. “Are you okay?” A voice came, and his gaze was drawn to the doorway. Twilight was standing there, Techno still couldn’t get over the head band, hair and eye patch but he tried to ignore it. “Yeah, I’m fine...” He sighed and got to his hooves. “I was just going to clean this room up.” He said. “Can I help you..?” Twilight asked. Techno was quite surprised by the mare, but also expected it. It was Twilight after all. “Of course...” He said before his horn started glowing red. He began to get rid of all the cobwebs, while Twilight started sweeping. **** After a few hours they had finished, and Techno plopped down onto his bed. “Finally!” He breathed. “Yeah...” Twilight sat next to him. “I don’t think I could have gotten it done without you, Twi.” He said looking up at the mare. He noticed that she had taken off the head band, and her hair was matted to her head with sweat. “Here, let me help you...” He said and his horn glowed. He levitated a brush over to her, and brushed her hair back to its normal cut. Her old normal cut anyways... She looked up at him with curiosity, and trotted over to a mirror. “I...” She began. Techno stopped her. “Hey, it’s the least I could do.” “I... Thank you...” She sighed. “I haven’t had this mane cut for years...” Her gaze rested on him. Techno trotted up to the mare, and smiled weakly. “You look amazing with any mane cut.” He said. Twilight blushed slightly, and looked out the window. “Curfew is in a few minutes.” She whispered. “Curfew..?” “The lights need to be out by a certain time, patrols come by most at night.” “But Rainbow said-“ Twilight rolled her eyes. “During the day,” She said. “During night is different.” “Yeah...” Twilight trotted out of the room, flicking the light off and closing the door behind her. Techno blushed as he realized he had watched her leave. “She didn’t see anything so I’m fine.” He declared falling back onto the bed. **** The next morning, Techno woke to the sound of a trumpet and he fell off his bed. He looked up groggily, to see a blue mare standing in front of him. “Good morning recruit; I’m your battle trainer for today.” Rainbow Dash grinned. “Alrighty, captain.” Techno said, getting to his hooves. They stood in the courtyard, and Rainbow Dash threw a sword over to Techno. He caught it in his mouth, and Rainbow held hers in her hoof. It had a strap to go around her hoof to keep it in place. “Ready?” She asked the colt. “Yep.” He smiled and took a ready pose. “Right, Three, two one!” She said and dashed forward.
Chapter 2: ResistanceTwilight stiffened and she narrowed her eyes at the newcomer. "How do you know my name? Are you a spy?" She growled. Techno flinched at the harsh tone of her friend." I'm your best friend remember?" He looked her in the eyes. "Best friend?" Her laugh echoed through the forest as she scowled. "I don't know you." "But it's me! Techno!" Techno started to panic now, then he realized. "You really don't know me... Do you..?" Twilight shook her head. "Look kid, we don't need more ponies trying to kill us alright? So we'll make this quick." A machete appeared in front of the alicorn and she held it to Techno's throat. He clenched his eyes close and he waited for the end. He felt the earth shift violently underneath them and he opened his eyes quickly. "Every pony find cover!" Twilight commanded as the ponies scrambled to shelter. Twilight grabbed Techno's arm and dived into a near-by ditch. "What-" Techno started before Twilight clasped a hoof over his mouth. She held her other hoof to her mouth, indicating that she was telling him to be quiet, Techno nodded as he moved her hoof. "What's going on" he whispered. "Celestia's patrol." Twilight replied quietly. Techno raised an eyebrow. "Why are you hiding then?" "You must be one of them lucky ones." Twilight sighed. "Celestia is trying to kill me and my friends, how do you not know about that..?" She looked at him curiously. "Well... I was helping Doctor Whooves with the Tardis-" He was cut off by the purple mare. "Doctor Whooves died like...Ten months ago. How is that possible?" "You're not as smart as you used to be Twi. There are multiple doctors for each dimension." Techno rolled his eyes. "You aren't suggesting you dimension hopped now are you?" Twilight's ears flattened. "I did." Techno Replied. Twilight frowned and she turned her back to him. Techno looked over the edge of the ditch. "I think they're gone." He said. Twilight nodded, climbing out of the ditch and she held out a hoof. He took her hoof and she pulled him out of the ditch. He scrambled to his feet and looked up at Twilight. "Alright. How long do you think you will be staying here..?" Twilight asked. "About a week." "Good. I have one thing to say to you then." "What?" Twilight turned to the black and blue alicorn. "Welcome to the resistance."
