The Beginning
The small, dusty town which pride it's self of their orchard was at rest. The moon gave a luminous glow over the houses as the cold wind blew. The Orchard's apples were slowly, but surely regenerating as small bulbs that gradually turned from a healthy green into a bright shiny red that made them appear like rubies as the leaves shuffled around them. Outside of the orchard, a large tent, several large tents, were stationed around the boarders of the trees. Inside were horses with golden armor, and shovels.
Over looking the settlement was a lone figure, fully clothed in a tattered tarp, a five-gallon hat on his sun bleached dark golden head. The tired green eyes closed as a long dark figure trotted up behind him, his ears filling with the sound of hooves and her exoskeleton rubbing together.
"It'll help us both young one..." The voice was female, and sounded as though it had several owners, but it held some pity within. A dark, slender hoof, littered with holes, laid upon the young colt's shoulders. He looked up into insect like green eyes with silted pupils peeked through long skin-thin blue hair while she stroked his mane.
"...I-I know it will... buh-...ugh..." He let his head fall, and the Insect queen nuzzled into the back of his neck.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know how else to help you without-"
"Ah know Chrysalis, ah know...." He rose his head up again and took another look at the town. "Ah built this place from the ground up, plante' all them there trees with mah own hooves. And now, barely 2 years old, and this ma-be the las time am gonna see it..."
"I'm sorry for your plight, but I hope you understand, my changelings, my family, are starving, and your home doesn't have enough love for us to survive... we've given as much of the gems as we could barter with for you all, but we must draw the line somewhere...." She sighed, holding back tears as she kept her regal pose.
"And the only place fo ya was Ponyville..."
"...yes..." A small ball with wings laid on the queen's back, in it's mouth was three large grey orbs on separate silver strings with several quartz crystals. The little changeling gave out a whimper, attracting both the farmer and it's queen's attention. Braeburn smiled at the little thing, It looked more like a big-eyed pony with pointy teeth, light blue butterfly wings, and hole-less limbs than the monster he thought they were. It looked towards the cow-pony's hat, eyes as big as half it's head, shimmering as the moon gave it a sparkling glow, making them look like 2 pale green sapphires.
The yellow pony chuckled at the creature before taking off his hat, and placing it upon the baby's head. "Now ah want tha back in a few days now ya hear?" From it, drew a squeal of joy as the pendants fell from it's mouth only to be caught by a green aura surrounding it, a few inches from the dirt and levitated it up in front of the apple member.
"The gems before you absorb love, and large amounts of it. In order to," She paused to think of another word, but came with no way to sugar-coat it. "Harvest, love, you must be touching the creature for it to absorb the love. It doesn't matter if they love you or something else, but it works more if they do feel for you, dear Braeburn." She levitated the gems around his neck as she explained over the sounds of the young changeling's mews while being covered by the large hat. She was extremely wary of getting the cow-pony in the eyes with the quartz, but something told her that he sort of wanted it to. "They will glow a bright blue when full. Once they do, we will pay you double the amount of gems from the caverns. Is this acceptable?"
She could see the fear and uncertainty within his eyes, but he turned around towards the orchard to see a Canterlot noble picking one of the apples from HIS orchard. The ripened fruit was hovered in the air, perfect in sze, shape and color, all from Appleloosian's hard work, and was thrown into at the bark. This brought a resounding, horrible thud and a crack that tore at Braeburn's heart. A small buffalo came charging at the noble from inside the thicket and stopped the pony. She barley got a chance as her much larger friends came to intervened. The yellow pony's heart broke even more as the guards started to pour out, unable to hear the quiet conflict.
He looked down at the gems, their empty color, the quartz that seemed to glow on their own, and then towards the queen and the little one that poked it's head out from under the rim, giving out fangy smiles with a blue tongue. The buffalo were pushed away by that time, but the smallest one stood her ground until the sheriff came and ushered her away..
"....I'll do it." May Cadence forgive meh for ma transgressions...
Somewhere else
A woman, roughly 15, with amber eyes and yellow hair stood at her window, looking out at the moon in her long grey, silk nightgown. A bandage patch was wrapped around her right eye. Her lips were smeared with a red streak and her skin was a nice tannish color, but held little pink. Around her was a hospital bed, an I.C.U with the tubes on the ground, a discarded robe, and a bed pan laid to the side, red liquid dripping out onto the linoleum floor.
In her arms was a small stuffed doll with large butterfly wings and a blue flower pinned into it's head. It wore no clothes, had no hair, and had no eyes.
A small light danced around her legs, up her chest, and disappeared before her face as it drew out a tear. The resounding noise was a small and faint whisper that danced around the room
"One more month...." Then the tears began to freely flow. The stars shining brightly and the moon giving off a lustrous glow over the rural town that's becoming a city.

Stiring it up
"BASTARD!!"
A vase soared over the yellow pony's head and crashed into the wall, turning into splinters. He stayed huddled in the corner, a few cuts and bruises over his body and ears pressed flat on his head. He tried to slinked away from the angered colt, wishing that he'd melt into the walls.
The pony's entire being glowed a brilliant dark purple with a golden man that hung slightly over his ruby red eyes, now the size of marbles. "How could you!?!? Leading me on, cheating on me-" He picked up a decorative ball and threw it onto the yellow pony's head, causing a dull 'THUNK' sound. "WITH MY SISTER!?"
"Ah...am sorry..."
The crystal pony scarped his hoof onto the floor with a huff. "Sorry? How? Tell me!" He stomped over to him, causing the other's lime green eyes to shrink even further. "Well? What the buck can you say about this HUH?!"
They sat in the uncomfortable silence in the relatively neat room, ignoring the broken glass. Then the colt on the ground finally spoke.
"A-ah don't think that-am-"
"You don't think your a WHAT?" The crystal pony hissed as he came closer to the sun-bleached pony's head.
"Braeburn!"
"...a....colt...cuddla..." The cow pony screwed his eyes closed as all the ferocity from the other vanished at that one word. His ears perked up to hear hoof step getting fainter, and fainter. He peek his eyes open to see the pony sitting in the center of the room, ears down, and tail covering his legs.
"...M-Maroon...I-"
"Don't." Maroon's head whipped around to glare at the cow pony. "Don't think, for a second, that that excuses you, for going behind my back Burner." The yellow pony's heart pulled as tears fell from the crystal pony's eyes.
He turned back around, and walked towards the stairs. "If I we're you, I'd leave, n-now." And with that, the dark purple colt broke out into a full sprint up the stairs, the pounding of his hooves barely hiding his sobs.
Braeburn stood upon his own limbs and slowly walked out the door into the crystal town, leaving behind an apple shaped ruby, the same as his cutie mark, on the table near the door under the calendar. It was marked 'Best Day Ever, 25 days ago.
Braeburn made himself comfortable as he sat in the lonely box cart with only a few other ponies. His signature vest was being used as a blanket, only until he finds something better. he brought a hoof around his neck to see three beautiful gemstones. They were a bright and vibrant aqua blue that shone and nearly brightened up the entire cart, giving everything a slight blue tint. They glowed so much so that the Appleloosain had to place them behind his back.
'Goin blind ain't on ma agenda... '
"The siblings are not in any misery" Braeburn jumped as a zebra came next to his seat. It was none other than Zecora, the Everfree Forest's mage. "For they no longer hold memories of thee."
"Zecora... Ah need ta git ya a bell!" The pony half-heartily glared at the grinning zebra as she took her seat. The only thing in her possession was a large burlap sack.
"Oh how sweet of you dear cow pony, a way to practice before matrimony?" The earth pony's face turned a brilliant orange as incoherent words spilt out by the barrelful. "Wha-ah ain't-ya-uh!"
"I believe it is true about you settler folk, none of you can take a small joke!" She laughed at the way Braeburn had tried to defend himself, but only succeeding in making his whole face, ears and neck a vibrant mandarin orange. The enchantress had to place her hooves on her muzzle to stop from disturbing the small group in front of her.
"Now yer getting it twisted missy!" The colt tried to get his coat to the natural butterscotch color by digging into his bag for a snack. Where in he hay was the snack cart anyway?
I'm just getting you back. "Calm thy nerve my dear Braeburn, but you must admit, it was my turn."
"Your tu-" Then e shut his mouth as the memories came flowing in. "Oh. Sorry.."
"Do not worry about a thing, for I had already known about-" The zebra looked around her for any eavesdroppers, but the only ones in the cart were a few filles and a group of pegesi with yellow goggles. She leaned in towards the farmer with a hushed voice. "...your bargain with the changelings..."
Braeburn's ears dropped as she sat back into her seat. The memories of Ponyville, the Everfree forest, Zecora...how he stayed with her trying to purchase a temporary love potion that felt like it was real, how she became a crop for him, how she forgave him, helped him....
"It is a noble cause my friend, however, my only worry is about you by day's end."
"As long as my people are gonna keep their homes and a place for their foals to eat and sleep, then I have to keep up with this..." He pulled the stone from behind his neck and held it out for Zecora to see. As soon as they started to glow, the zebra's smile melted into a frown.
"I see, you have been busy harvesting.."
"It never gets easy, these things feed the 'group' for months, so ya can't imagine how long it takes for one. Am more surprised the ones that go out are barely brakin' even..." He looked to the side of the other isle at a young deep red unicorn colt as his black eyes caught his. For a moment they held their gaze unto those same eyes flashed a light solid blue color and then waved at him.
"It's good for somthin though." He said as he eagerly returned the gesture.
"It is not what you bring that they respect, but how you selfishly turn yourself into lovers reject."
"That don't make it better hun..." A loud whistling sounded out, and soon the train began it's journey. The two passenger spoke more about off topic things such as catching up, and where the colt would be next week. The Southern lands of Coltinshire seemed nice and far away. This time he's bringing some of Zecora's forgetmelots potion with him. Soon, the train pulled into Ponyville station, where a blue pegasus with a rainbow colored mane waited dangerously close to the tracks.
"I'm afraid this is where I say 'til we meet again', But here," Braeburn tilted his head as she dug into her sack to pull out a bottle with a metallic pink liquid and placed it near his flank. "you must use only two drops, understand?"
"...thank ya, Zecora." He trotted up to the zebra and rubbed his neck onto hers, and she return the favor with as much affection.
"I shall see you soon, and if your return, you may get a sonic rainboom." The last rhyme, if you can call it that, made his head turn a vivid orange color once again as he caught a glimpse of a spectrum of colors zooming into their cart and back out. Was there a smile on that tommare? He couldn't tell as the rest of the cart's inhabitants started to fill out and blocked his view. The only thing on his mind was memories of the cloud coliseum with a purple unicorn, and a flirtatious Dash.
"Still breakin' hearts bumpkin?"
Braeburn couldn't tell how far up he jumped, but it was enough that he nearly broke his tail in half on his way down, right on his back. For a few seconds, he saw nothing but bright patches of clouds and a muddy grey sky. Soon, the clouds began to evaporate and the sky turned into a more natural blue. That is until it turned into the shape of a sky blue pegasus.
To say that the settler pony was scared was an understatement. "S-Soarin." His knees jus wouldn't stop shaking as he got up, dwarfed by a hoof of a strong flier while greyish green eyes bore right into his head. No, he wasn't scared, but there's not really a word for how he feels right now in the Equestrian Dictionary.
"I'll take that as a yes."
"A-, sorry..." The pony quickly stepped back towards his seat, as far away form the pegasus as possible.
"So, who is she?" The pony looked up to see the stallion still there, but blocking his way out. Braeburn knew a lot about pegasus anatomy, thanks to Twilight and her blasted essays, he especially knows the fact that they weigh considerably less than an Earth pony. But the fact that they can fly high past the clouds into skin-sheering winds and having light and incredibly dense bones didn't help with the fact that the wonderbolts were built like soldiers.
So a stoic-faced, somewhat stronger pegasus that's quicker than him was a little more than unsettling.
"Wh-wha?" The light blue pony snorted as he ran a hoof through his royal blue mane to get a few strands back in place. ' He really did let it grow out. ' And that was true, it almost touched his shoulders too.
"The zebra stupid."
"Oh, well, sh-she's just a friend."
"Hmm, like Misty?" The settler pony shrunk back as the Pegasus's wings started to unravel.
"Or like Spitfire?" Soarin took a step closer to the yellow pony who squished his body onto the wall of the cart. Bright fearful greens being attacked by it's emotionless counterpart.
"Or maybe our dear Rainbow Dash? How bout Blaze, Fleetfoot, and sweet little Surprise?" The young stallion's nose was just barely touching Braeburn's cheek by then, each word pinning the Earth pony back more and more until he could smell beads of sweat mixing with paint.
"Were they just friends, Brae?"
Braeburn could only imitate a fish at that moment as he was forced to stare into Soarin's eyes. "I-I cn't UH!!" A wet muscle found it's way upon the pony's cheek and slowly dragged it's self to the corner of his eye before it drew back.
"Sure you will. And when you do," the light blue head nuzzled into Brae's mane, cooing and make noises that made a large lump and an unsettling pressure build up in his stomach. "you'll be touching the clouds and painting them red."
A blue tail flicked at the settler pony's snout as Soarin turned away, wings tuck as though nothing happened, and walked out the cart, but not without flashing a smirk at the paralyzed stallion. He stayed there on the ground as more ponies began to fill the train. Slowly, he got up onto his seat and held his head down, covering slivers of tears.
Two entities over looked two portals, one with a yellow pony on a train, another held the image of a family, some crying, some on the floor, holding onto still limbs of a young girl, a doll's silhouette through the white sheet over her yellow head.
"You have a higher calling than you believe young one."
The voice was disembodied, but there was the form of a young woman in a grey short dress with gloves and long socks, yellow hair hanging in front of her bright amber eyes. And two pairs of dragonfly like wings that pulsed with an invisible substance, yet gave off an eerie glow.
"But, how can help?" She plead up to everything, and yet nothing. "What am I supposed ta do?"
"You must help a lost soul to find peace in his life until he s ready for you to leave. YOU are his guardian fairy, to grant small wishes to protect him."
"Umm, okay, but how will I know what to do when I get there?" She emphasized with a jerk of her head towards her wings. "I don't even know how to move these things."
They are only so you may float and fly, you must only imagine how to do so.
"What about the wishing thing? Do I need a wand?"
It will not have much effect, for it shall be a meager piece of magic, but you may use it to cannel your magic.
"And how do I channel my magic?"
It was quiet for a good while, until the voice returned, "Uhhh, train from experience?"
"Wait, that doesn't make any-"
You shall begin now
"Wait NOW!?" She turned towards the picture with the horse, eyes wide. "Wait, I don't even- I JUST GOT HEEEE!!!" Then, the girl was absorbed into the portal with the horse, and disappeared along with it.
Then again, she did raise some good points.....

A New Friend
"WHOA!" A massive body of feathers and fur flew past the fairy, taking her with it in the tail wind before flinging her away in the air. A light yellow feather floated onto her back and nearly covered her wings as they fluttered at an incredible pace. [color=sliver] " You guys need to take it easy!"
'I can't belive this! Four hours in and I'm already lost!' The little creature was where she needed to be, but she couldn't see it given the fact that she was high in the sky. The only object the afternoon sky, minus herself, was a few stray veils of clouds and the occasionally feathered horses in . "Ones that apparently don't have air trafficking laws...."
Her wardrobe was the same grey dress, but it became more tighter on her body and her socks and gloves gained a frilly boarder. She also had gained a pale golden neck band and green bangles on her arms and legs. The most noticeable features she had was a short golden stick that twisted around her left arms, like it was naturally doing that for hundreds of years and a silver daisy pin in her hair.
Gradually, the all too similar sound of an oncoming airplane's whistle graced her ears. "SHIT!" Without thinking, the little creature dove down into the cooling mist of the thin clouds. A few seconds later, the entire mist had been blown away by a mighty wind, sending the fairy into a downward tailspin for a full ten seconds before stopping to hover upside down.
'What's WRONG with these crazy horses! When did they upgrade from flying pigs!?'
The bottom of her dress flopped onto her chin as she curled in her legs and the strands of her hair was left to dance in the semi-high winds. 'Now where am-' "Oh, wow."
She looked up to see a small cluster buildings on the dry desert plain. Right next to it was an impressively large and organized rows of trees that spread a great distance and stood out against the desolate land. The view was as breathtaking as breathing on a mountain.
"So these horses made all this? I wonder, what about that yellow one?" A sharp intake of air sounded from behind her, but her mind was on other things as she righted her position and placed her fingers on her chin. "How am I going FIND it in all this? I can't just go door to door now. I wonder how these creatures act when they see a human? They might mistake me for a bug, or a tiny ape with wings..."
"Oh my!" The little girl's wings and form stiffened at the sound, less than a meter away. A sharp turn brought her eye to eye with two sights; a house sized yellow furred face with big blue eyes and pink hair, and another face with blue fur, reddish purple eyes and red, orange, and yellow hair.
....
"... uhh...BYE!" The wings had started on auto-pilot before the girl had even realized it. Her eyes had squeezed shut as the wind bite and pulled at her skin. She felt herself falling at an impossible speed, the suddenly she was jerked to the left.
Her hands flew to her mouth as a wave of intense nausea came up into her throat '~OH GOD! My brains are coming out of my-" A sharp turn right sent a wave of pain through her nerves up and down the back portion of her body and spine. Her mind began to black out for two seconds, seeing and feeling nothing, and her eyes were forced open by a loud crashing noise behind her.
"SORRY!" The wind chilled the sensitive muscles, but the sight of seeing rainbow colored hooves that seemed to speed up towards her and past, the strange yet delicate feeling of fur tapping her wing tips, won. "HEY!"
Her head whipped around, trusting the wings that apparently knew what they were doing, to find the blue horse was halfway under another one but with red hair and the yellow one hovering near by. 'They were following me!?'
The three slowly started to disappear in a crowd of limbs. Her only mode of transportation had other plans that flying around. The world had slowly stopped movng, and she suddenly found her self falling like a stone into a dark tunnel. "What the?" The landing was hard, and hurt, but it was the surface that was confounding her; it was almost like a rope, just softer.
She sat cross-legged and tried to get her bearing. There was the opening that she came through, a slight rectangular patch of light that was too dim to help her see. As she leaned back to get a better look, her wings came in contact with a smooth object. She jumped slightly, but calmed down to see what had scared her; an apple.
"An apple as tall as me..." A large wave of chills enveloped her body as the reality of her size came to full swing. "Oh God, and I have to HELP one of them." A torrent of gory images entered her imaginative mind as a chill came through her back. The rest of the contents was a bulgy bag of coins and a small book. The rest was a wall of felt and fabric.
Then, the world around her started to slightly vibrate, like an earthquake before the after shock and saw the world beyond her only exit fill up with a yellow sky. Crap! I got to get out of here!' She jumped up into the air, then promptly fell back to her feet. What the-' She tired again and again, the sounds outside her world began filling up with ever growing voices and more intense shakes. "PLEASE WORK DAMMMIT!" She tried shaking her back, even tried to make them fly, they stayed as limp as her hair.
Her second source of light was suddenly dimmed, not by much, but enough to tell it was gone. "crap..." For a moment, everything around her had shifted, the apples rolled back, the book shifted, and the little girl's feet had instinctively righted herself as the floor moved. Her eyes darted back and forth, looking for any type of warning for what was surely going to happen next.
There was none.
Everything around her was pulled up into the air at a rate that pressed her hard into the cloth. As suddenly as it started, it stopped and everything floated around, almost weightless as though gravity was a nonexistent force.
It all ended as the contents and the girl were slapped into the roof of the container, and forced downwards. Being the lightest, she was spared being crushed by the apple, bag, and book, and landed bottom down onto the velvety cloth as everything else was shoved towards some solid force. She brought a hand up her head to rub away the slight burn. "At least that's over..."
The voices outside were much closer now, mostly a deep yet high one, an audible thudding sound, a high-pitched female voice, and a loud whistling from nearby. "Okaay, they have houses, flying horses, backpacks, and now train stations. I'm hope they're a lot more friendly than us."
She didn't have to sit and wait for long; her container started to jump up several times, rolling the apple she sat on out from under her. Everything then slammed into a solid mass.
"SHIT!" She was pushed into a corner as one side of the bag was pulled up, rolling the apple right onto her legs and the bag dangerously close to her head. The fruit pounded into her legs with every movement in the space; slammed downwards onto the solid mass, jerk upwards away from the solid wall. This kept repeating it's self for several minutes, drawing out a squeal of pain every second time. As the fruit bared down on her, a tugging on her back started to pull as soon as the apple was left in the air.
"Oh, NOW you work!"
She found herself hovering in a small space that made her curl up into a ball. That was the only place that wasn't being shoved into the wall to the side of her, thanks to the jostled notebook that apparently was holding down her tormentor. The smell of food and dirt started to waft through the air. Then, a small sliver of light. It was only detectable since it flashed into her eyes and not behind her head. A few inches away from her, there was a tiny crack in the folds. Taking a huge chance at being spotted, she pushed the flap up and shot her head out.
"Is this some kind of movie set?" Even though she had to keep an iron grip on the fabric as it jostled her view, the sight was one of wonder. All around her were the strange sentient horses of this world, many with hats, boots, ties, even gowns, dresses and fashionably done up hair style of an old west movie. The fact that horses here had the choice of wearing clothing was one thing, but what floored the poor child was the fact that they looked A LOT like what they had on Earth.
'If we're even in the same dimension....' They had stalls and booths, there were horses doing all kinds of things; from pulling carts to dancing, to even painting on easels. A small little horse was carrying a plate of food in one stall, but dropped it on top of the head of another that was hammering his hoof on a nail. The older looking creature just laughed it off as the smaller one tried to eat the junk from his head. Memories of family and friends came by slowly, the glow of her wings died down as a frown crossed her face.
"Braeburn! Your back" The girl was jerked from her memories as the female voice came from ahead of her. It was some kind of stocky deer? It had a purple and white striped headband under it's orange puffy hair with black-tipped white feathers. Her legs, which gave the girl the impression of a deer, were soo thin, but her chest was large, considering proportions. "She's looks so cute thought. Like a lil'! Pocahontaus"
"Howdy Strongheart." The voice sent more vibrations through the bag, and finally gave her the courage to look at what was causing her so much discomfort for the past half hour. She crawled a little towards the edge of the corner of the bag, most likely a clasp to hold it, to see the same wall of yellow fur from before.
She was first met with a large wall of fabric and thick rope far in front of her. that seem to stretch on around the body of, whatever it was. High above her, she saw a large round disk that sat on top a river of sun-bleached hair and yellow ears poking out. "It's him!"
She watched on as Strongheart's face filled up her view of the world, noticing a certain chubbiness in her cheeks before the world started moving again. The female, deer?, trotted close by, so close the new fairy could smell the air her fur gave off. Instead of the wild musk that many furry creatures seemed to carry, she smelt a lot like flowery spices and muddied water. And she instantly liked her. 'She looks like a puppy!' A really large, strong, and furry puppy...
~10 minutes later~
'Are all buffalo that small so cute?' The little fairy wondered as she watched the sweet gigantic creature walked out into the plains with other larger ones in the distance.
She sank back down into the sack, mostly to rest of the bag of coins that acted like a primitive massage chair. surprisingly, the dragonfly like appendages were as strong as the were flimsy. And as she listened in on the two creatures, she learned that they had veins, arteries, and muscles.
As certain topics came up and the thudding in the creature's heart increased, the light around her can turn into a pale pinkish purple hue. When she started getting tired, the wings started to tilt. And when she felt the confined space had collapsed slightly, they began to wrap around her, which took several minutes to release given the surprising strength of such fragile looking things.
A loud series of rock hitting wood jarred her temporary home to a tilt and then leveled out. From what she could put together, there was a door being unlocked and the horse had closed it far behind her. She found herself floating upwards a bit and peeked out of the bag. Everything was made from a warm colored wood, there were portraits on every wall, a green couch in the middle of the room, a fireplace to the side of her, and a stair case and entrance to a kitchen in the back.
"Why am I not surprised?" The horse had stopped in his track in front of the couch, nearly sending the girl flying out who was anchored inside by her unpredictable appendages. The upper flap was ripped from away so suddenly that she free fell onto dent of the apple, her back making first contact .
Agh! Sonava-that's going to leave a mar- The world started to shake again as it did in the beginning, this time, the apple was the only thing keeping her from falling to the bottom. She found the world started to wave around, almost like a boat would, but with wider waves. The world began to float, as well, but then slammed down and tumbled towards a wall, crumbling the bag and pushing it down to the ground. This time, she was spared being crushed and took to holding onto the stem of the fruit for stability, even though she was half on the bottom and half hung on the woody stem.
Everything was silent, her wings giving off a brighter glow as the adrenaline pumped through her veins. A jerk was felt, than another. Until a large snout suddenly charged in, pushed the bag upwards, sending the fairy to her legs and the fruit backwards as light blinded her sight. The fairy stood in place, to shocked to even move. She blink several times, before realizing she was staring into a dark, disgustingly moist red void with a large pink muscle and hot wet air washed over her.
Then, something hard and wet graze over her knee.
With speed that even she didn't know, the girl pounced out of the way as teeth sank into the fruit with what seemed like a bone crunching noise. But she didn't fall to the ground. She couldn't even move, a pain started to form far behind her body, and she was sank into a dimmer world. Her head jerked back as she moved by another force. 'HE'S BITTING THEM!!' Both semi-transparent appendages had disappeared at the tip by large, strangely furless lips and the red fruit that leaked out it's juices.
The teeth lessened a bit, but her vision was quikly filled with the sigt of the brown handmade bag and green couch. Which is what she was hanging over at a good twenty feet drop.

The adrenaline that coursed through her body had gone towards the trapped appendages, turning them into a bright purple and in turn straightened themselves to a point they began to slip out between the two already slick objects.
And, as all things have a reaction, the fairy fell legs first towards the space between the cushions. Her legs slipped through with little resistance, hissing at the friction burn, and found herself buried chest deep in fabric and itchy cotton, and the dragonfly-like appendages had cute through some of the fabric.
"FUCK! Is this some kind of fuckin' joke!?" Her hands raked the seemingly smooth surface for a handhold, and, when it came as a loss seam, started to pulled with all her might. She slowly, but surly felt herself slide free. After a good while, she was splayed out on her stomach, gasping for air and sweating profusely.
"I bet that this is some kinda sick joke..." She rest for a while, then saw a shadow pass over her.

The settler pony took a bite from the apple he had bought from the Crystal kingdom. There used to be several, but that food cart pony had never came. After he grabbed his gear from the train, he found an irritated griffon asking him how his trip was. He only asked if they serve food from cart to cart like they did in movies. She didn't reply, and stomped passed him out the train. When he departed, he found that same griffon girl, and a few others that rode with him from Ponyville to Appleloosa from the same cart, had all crowded around the conductor.
After watching for a few minutes, a mare came running up to him with his saddlebag in her mouth. He thanked her and tried to walk away, but not before giving the mare the three gems. Her yellow eyes flashed a solid blue and gave him a death hug before trotting away.
After he got his belongings and trotted towards home. Halfway through, he met Lil Strongheart. She always helped him out whenever she could. They talked about nothing really, she not in on his bargain, and then went on her way.
"Just remember to buck a few trees from time to time Brae, your looking a little small!" And the joke lead to a raspberry towards the sassy buffalo before continuing home. It was true, he wasn't the best apple bucker, he'd only done it for a couple of years. He was almost as scrawny as a unicorn, or a pegasus.
He closed his eyes, trying to will away the memories of the events from earlier before they came back. The words weren't present, but the images were still clear as day. Against his own will, he began to remember the first day he met the Wonderbolt.
'At least those bags under his eyes are gone, that's somthun, right?'
He wiped the water from his face, and trotted back downstairs. His bag was tossed onto one side of the couch, some of the meager contents spilt out.
Thee pony's legs were too tired to stay up any longer. The couch was looking more and more comfortable than his own bed at the moment. The last time he woke up in the middle of the evening, he had apparently forgotten to bring his end of the bargain that day and found a sweet little big-like face pressed up into the glass checking up on him.
'Just a quick rest won't hurt.' He thought as he climbed up into the and unceremoniously collapsed, using his own bag as a pillow. His eyes quickly fell shut, and within no time at all, he was out like a light. The only sounds in the house were quiet snores, and near silent squeaks.
