Fall of a Time Lord

"Hurry up Ditzy! We need to get going!" Doctor Whooves shouted, sticking his head out of the TARDIS.

"Okay Doctor! Just let me finish, huff! Getting these muffins! huff! Into this bag! Huff!" said Ditzy Doo struggling to stuff some muffins into an already full bag.

"You don't need that many muffins Ditzy! We need to go!" shouted Doctor Whooves.

"Just one more second... there we go!"  said Ditzy Doo as she zipped up her bag.

                              Suddenly the bag opened again, sending muffins flying in every direction. Ditzy Doo ran around frantically, trying to stuff them back into the bag.

"Oh no you don't..." said Doctor Whooves as he dragged Ditzy into the by her tail.

"Hang on Ditzy!" shouted Doctor Whooves as he pulled a lever causing the TARDIS to shoot off through space and time.

"Where are we going this time Doctor?" shouted Ditzy Doo

"Equestria! Millions of years in the future!" shouted Doctor Whooves

"Wow! I wonder what it's going to be like?!" shouted Ditzy

"Then lets see." said Doctor Whooves as the TARDIS arrived at it's destination.

                               Ditzy slowly opened the door of the TARDIS and gasped in shock.

"Doctor... a-are you sure this Equestria?" stuttered Ditzy

"From what the TARDIS is telling me, no this is not Equestria, it's a large asteroid... one capable of having a small atmosphere in fact." mumbled the Doctor 'This can't be right! This would imply that my TARDIS is malfunctioning or..."

"What is it Doctor? Is something wrong?"

"Ditzy... don't panic... but I think Equestria has been destroyed, pieces of it scattered across the stars... this is just one small piece of what used to be your world..."

"What! But I don't want Equestria to be destroyed!" said Ditzy Doo, panicking "Nonononononononono!"

"Don't worry Ditzy, the event that caused this probably happened millions of years in the future from your present time!" said Doctor Whooves"Nothing to worry about... Now lets get to exploring!"

                                 The Doctor stuck his head out of the TARDIS and got his first look at the asteroid that used to be Equestria . It was a bland grey surface with scattered boulders and a pitch black sky.

"Wow... this isn't to much to look at is it..."  said the Doctor "Wait a minute... OVER THERE DITZY! A BUILDING! AH HAH! YES!"

                                  The Doctor dashed off in the direction of the building leaving Ditzy in the dust.

"Wait... Doctor! It might not be safe! And I hurt my wing remember! I can't fly!"Ditzy shouted as she ran after him.

                                  But the Doctor kept running and after a while of dashing across the cold hard rock they finally reached their destination.

"Well this is interesting..." muttered the Doctor "Looks to me like a biotech research lab, not of Equestrian origin. Well we should at least have a look inside!"

                                   The Doctor trotted right into the building but was greeted by a not so pleasant surprise.

"Ditzy...you might want to come see this..."

                                   Inside were the dead bodies of any researchers that had been there, and they were not ponies.

"What could have killed them ..." said the Doctor "And why were they here? It makes no sense!"

                                   He kept trotting forward until a pony stumbled out of an open doorway.

"Woah!" shouted the Doctor, stumbling backwards "Didn't see you there!"

"Are you another one of those scientists? Can you help me?" said the stallion has he moved towards Doctor Whooves.

"Help you? Wait a minute..." said the Doctor, finally coming to a terrible realization

"Ditzy! DITZY RUN!" shouted the Doctor

"Doctor? What's going on? I'm coming in there!" said Ditzy as she entered the building

"NO! DON'T! IT'S NOT SAFE! JUST RUN!" the Doctor screamed frantically

                                   The Doctor turned and ran straight out the door with Ditzy running right behind him.

"Help me! HELP ME!" the pony screamed as he chased after him.

"Don't look back Ditzy! Keep running!"  the Doctor shouted to Ditzy who had taken a quick glance backward.

"Doctor! I think he's catching up!" shouted Ditzy, looking back again.

"Keep running!"  shouted the Doctor.

"Doctor! DOCTOR!" said Ditzy as she stumbled.

"DITZY!" the Doctor shouted as he turned around and ran back.

The pony jumped on Ditzy but with a quick flick of her hind legs he went flying backwards. Ditzy began running towards the TARDIS again. Ditzy and the Doctor dashed through the door and slammed it shut.

"Doctor *gasp* what was that *gasp*" Ditzy said, breathing heavily.

"He was infected with a disease... one those unlucky people at the lab were trying to study..." said the Doctor "And if my theory is correct Equestria was decimated to stop the spread of it..."

"Are we infected?" said Ditzy who was nervously glancing around.

"Nah! We should be good, as long as he didn't make contact with an open wound we should be good." said the Doctor "You don't gave any open wounds do you?"

"O-Of course n-not..." Ditzy said, stuttering a bit.

Good! Well I guess that it's for this place... you ready to go?" asked the Doctor

"Of course! Let's go already! " said Ditzy

                        With that the Doctor pulled another lever and the TARDIS shot of back to Equestria. Ditzy fidgeted holding her wrist behind her back, a wrist that had a large cut on it, one that had been touched by that strange pony...
