Route 116
Day 3 Part 2
Previous ChapterI decided to head toward the building that looked somewhat like a fish store.. I didn't go there yet and I thought that more supplies could be helpful. I walked slowly to the place, making sure i didn't make any loud noises that could have alerted the zombie ponies. Luckily, no zombies showed up. Once at the little building, I decided to sneak in to be careful. I slowly opened the front door, which was the only thing that wasn't blocked by a plank or something else. There was an horrible rotten fish smell inside the place and the place was a total mess. There was a lot of garbage on the floor and some broken rods. I saw three zombie ponies, all in a corner.
I didn't see what they were doing and I didn't even want to know. Again, I got lucky. I've been able to sneak in without a sound and I found a metal fish net, four hooks with strings on them and a cleaver. I slowly made my way out and I heard a loud noise. The same kind of noise I heard when that militia pony saw me at the restaurant yesterday. I didn't even get the time to turn around that I heard a very big explosion noise coming from behind. I turned my head and saw the same militia pony with his machine gun aimed at the this fishing building. he shot at the structure and The building seemed to be half destroyed. The zombie ponies probably got killed.
I ran toward the gun store and I tripped over something. I knocked my head on the ground quite hardly but I didn't stay on the ground for too long. I knew I had to go away quickly. I looked and saw that I tripped over a baseball bat. I thought it could be very useful and I put it in my backpack. I went back to the gun store before it got dark outside. When I got inside, I saw Ian on the work bench. He was working with a lot of stuff.
He turned around and asked me "Hey, do you have a baseball bat, by any chance?" I felt surprised, since I found one a few minutes before.
I replied "Well, what do you need it for?"
He smiled at me."You'll see" he said. I shrugged and tossed him the baseball bat and he nodded a"thank you". He put the bat on the bench and said "Uhm, I don't really like people looking at me when I work. Do you mind looking away for a moment?" That was a strange question, but I didn't say no.
I simply replied "sure" and I turned around to look at the door. I heard a lot of "Bang! Bam! Boom!" noises for about 5 minutes and then nothing. I heard hoofsteps coming closer to me. He said "alright, you can look now."
He was holding a spiked baseball bat in his left hoof. When I looked at his face, he said "Take it! I made it for you."
I smiled and said "Thank you very much, but are you sure you don't want it?"
That made him giggle a little and he replied "No, don't worry about me." I took the spiked bat and he walked toward his stuff.
"What a nice stallion" I thought to myself. He looked over to me and said "Hey, do you have a flashlight or something like that?" I didn't hesitate and I gave him the glow-stick I found yesterday.
He quickly took it from my hoof and went in a dark corner of the store. After a few minutes, he came back with a big crate on his back. He put it on his sleeping bag and started to take the stuff that was inside out of it. There was one big ammo crate inside which seem to have some bullets since I heard a noise coming from it when he moved it. He stood up and went back in the darkness. He came back quickly with a Henry rifle in his mouth. He sat on the ground right next to his sleeping bag to look carefully at the rifle. He said "It's fully loaded! I'm lucky!" Then he took the box he found inside the crate and threw it at me. He said "Here. You can have this."
I looked at him, very surprised, and replied "Oh. Well, thank you very much, that's very nice of you." He winked and said "Hehe, you're welcome!"
I don't know why but I started to blush. I never had anyone so nice to me, it felt great. I asked him "So, you're gonna stay here for the night, right?" He replied "It's already night outside?!" with a very surprised face.
I giggle and said "Well, yes, it is. You've been here all day and I was away. I almost got killed again but I've been lucky and ran away. I think you should stay here, it's too dangerous to go outside at night and even more if you're alone."
He smiled and said "oh, I thought you couldn't come with me, hehe!"
I blushed even more and said "Oh, hehe, well, not at night."
He laughed and said "Nah, it's alright. I guess we should just go to sleep now." as he was slowly taking his clothes off. I just stood there, watching him taking off his shirt, his boots and his belt. He slowly got in his sleeping bag and tried to make himself comfortable. I was blushing like crazy. Oh my, that stallion was so...so...I don't even know what to say to describe such a handsome pony. He asked "You're not going to bed?"
I looked at him, still blushing, and said "W-well, I-I don't have a-anything to s-sleep on. D-Do you mind i-if I sleep w-with you?"
He didn't even notice that I was blushing even more! He smiled at me with a very sweet smile and said "Sure, come with me."
I said "Oh, thank you" and I started to take my dark blue hoodie off. I kept only my light blue shirt I had under it.
I slowly walked toward him, nervous and happy at the same time. He moved a bit to give me some space and I slowly got inside with him. The warmness of his body was just so sweet. I missed that feeling. The feeling to have someone right next to you, that you can talk to and maybe even hug. I looked in his sky blue eyes and said "Well, hehe, goodnight Ian."
He seemed to blush and said " 'night Sunrise." We both closed our eyes and slept for the night in this small but very comfortable sleeping bag.
