Over A Spot Of Tea

Many years ago, a little filly by the name of Twilight Sparkle. She was very special and was meant for greatness. Princess Celestia knew this and, became her mentor.

Celestia was worried at the start, many times had she tried to teach a mare or colt. And many of those times she failed.

But all was good, as fate would have it Twilight grew up to be a great mare, surrounded by friends.

And now she's a princess.

Celestia sat on the velvet lined, red seat.

To the right of it was a coffee table which held, a kettle filled with Everfree Tea.

The princess used her magic to pour two cups of the steamy liquid and waited for her guest to arrive.

"P-p-princess! I'm soooo sorry I'm late!"

Celestia smiled, "Twilight, sit down, please."

The lavender alicorn nodded and carefully sat down into a seat. She went red, why was she nervous? It must be upsetting that Celestia's most faithful student, of all ponies is scared of her!

"So why did you want to see me princess?" Said Twilight politely, levitating one of the tea-cups towards her lips,

"I have to talk to you about matters regarding your new princess hood."

"Oh ok." Twilight leaned back on the chair, it was very comfortable! "Go on then."

"As you may already know, each princess has her own region or area to look after,

In the matter of Cadence, we needed a pony who could watch the Empire, as, Luna and I cannot.

But with you..."

Celestia strummed her lip, then stopped to think;

"Well we do not know, yet. But I am quite sure you would rather stay with your friends.

Am I correct?"

Twilight nodded silently, taking a small sip out of the tea. It was sweet, like honey. Yet very warm.
