Hailing from a distant land, Guāngyǐng qiánfēng (which means "Shadowlight Striker" in common pony tongue), is a hardened warrior who has been training his entire life in an almost completely forgotten art known as Xiao Ma Fu. The purpose of his training? To defeat the ultimate evil, Huǐhuài (Destruction). However, upon arriving in Ponyville, a small rural town where Huǐhuài is to supposedly appear, he meets several ponies he learns to care for. His training is pushed to the limits, as he learns not to fight only as a duty, but also to fight for those he cares about. Follow Shadowlight as he journeys not only through Ponyville, but through himself in this tale of self discovery, action, love, hate, loss, and pain.
