An Alicorn named Unique lives a peaceful life, working as a farmer in a quiet village, and married to a wonderful mare who is carrying his child. His past, however, is not as pleasant; it is a dark one; memories of war, death, and the terrible demons it brought out in him. But that was before; this is now, and right now Unique only wants his family's future to be safe and happy.

But tragedy strikes, and in one night, everything Unique held dear to him is taken from him, and his pregnant wife murdered in front of him by a mysterious hooded alicorn. Before he is killed by this stranger, Unique swears vengeance against him, and all who stand with him.

1000 years later, Unique returns to the world of the living, finding himself in a different Equestria. He also quickly discovers that he now wields an incredible power. Haunted by the death of his beloved 1000 years ago, Unique sets out to find and kill their murderer. Along the way, he will come across extraordinary (and familiar) friends, fight powerful enemies, and above all else, he will learn that his quest for vengeance may ultimately determine the fate of the world itself.

This is my first attempt EVER at writing a story, so don't expect it to be brilliant. However, I will try my best to make this fanfic as worthwhile your time as I can, and so i hope that you will enjoy Unique: Vengeance is Magic.
