Once Upon A Time

Twila and Scootaloo finally arrived in Ponyville. “Ok kid why don’t you tell me where you live, so I can drop you off.” Scootaloo closed the book and said “1234 Not Telling You Street!” Twila slammed on her car breaks and got out of the car. She walked over to the other side of the car and opened the door “Look its been a long night and its almost 8:15?” Twila said, she thought it had been much later than that. Scootaloo got out of the car and looked up at her and said “That clock hasn’t moved my whole life. Times frozen here, the evil queen did it with her curse.” Twila looked down at her and laughed “So you’re telling me that the Evil Queen sent a bunch of storybook characters here?”

“Its true!” “Then why can’t everybody just leave?” “They can’t. If they do then bad things happen.” Just then a man walked up to them “Scootaloo, what are you doing out here this late? And whose your friend here?” the man asked. “Just someone trying to give him a ride home” Twila said. “She’s my mom Flim” Scootaloo told the man. “Oh I see,” Flim said. Twila saw this as an opportunity to find out where the girl lived “You know where he lives?” She asked. “Yea, take a turn a Maple street the Mayor’s house is the biggest one on the left.” She turned towards Scootaloo “You’re the Mayor’s kid!” They got back into the car and drove towards the Mayor’s house.

“I say we fight!” Flash yelled while standing up from his seat facing everypony that was sitting at the round table in the room. Twilight Sparkle was sitting in the chair next to his with sad look on her face. Next to her were the seven dwarf ponies and then Granny with a Red Riding hood Applejack standing behind her. Then there was Flam with a little colt next to him on the floor. On the table in front of him was a cricket. After them were some of the prince’s guards. Then a cricket spoke up and said “Giving into one’s dark side accomplishes nothing.”

Flash Sentry looked down at the cricket and asked “And how many wars were won with a clear conscience? We need to take the Queen out before she can enflict her curse.” Then one of the dwarf spoke up “Can we even trust Discord?” Flash answered the question “I’ve sent my men into the forest, the animals are a buzz with Sunset’s plan. This is going to happen unless we do something.” Right when he said this, Twilight said

“There’s no point, the future is written.” “No I won’t believe it, good can’t just lose.” “Maybe it can” Twilight said while looking off to the side. Flash saw the sadness in his wife’s eyes and sat down by her side grabbing her hoof, “No, not as long as we have each other. If you believe him about the curse then you must believe him about our daughter. She will be the savior.” He said to his wife reassuringly.

Right then Celestia walked into the room with guards flowing her carrying a tree. “What the hell is this?” Flash exclaimed. Celestia replied “The only hope we have of saving that child. The tree is enchanted if fashioned into a vessel it can be used as a weapon. Geppeto can you make such a thing.” Geppeto looked up at the fairy and patted his son’s head, “Me and my boy we can do it.” Flash and Twilight were so happy until Celestia said “But all magic has its limits and this will only protect one.”

Twilight was pleading with Flash not to go without him. “But we won’t see each other again until her 28th birthday.” “But what is 28 years, when you have true love?” Flash reassured his wife, but just as they were about to share an embrace. Twilight backed away grabbing her stomach in pain. “What is it?” Flash asked with a worried look. “The baby its coming!”

A dark cloud started to head toward the palace. Inside the castle, screaming could be heard coming from the bedroom of the royal couple. Flash was holding Twilight’s hoof as she panted in deep pain, “I can’t have this baby now!” “Just a few more minutes Twilight and the wardrobe will be ready.” Flam walked into the room and told them the wardrobe was ready. But when Flash Sentry tried to pick her up and move her to the wardrobe, Doc stopped her and told them that she couldn’t be moved.

A black carriage was ahead of the dark cloud heading to the castle. Soon enough, a baby cry could be heard. Twilight and Flash smiled down at their new born filly. The filly was wrapped up in a baby blanket that had her name monogrammed on the side. Then Twilight frowned as she looked up from the baby, “The wardrobe… It only takes one.” Sunset Shimmer’s guards could be heard from the outside.

Twilight and Flash looked up at the door, “Then our plan has failed. At least we are together.” When Flash said this Twilight looked up at him and handed him Twila, “No, you have to take her. Take the baby to the wardrobe.” “Are you out of your mind?” Flash said while staring at Twilight in disbelief. “No, it’s the only way to save her.”

“No no no, you don’t know what you are saying.” “But I do! We have to believe she will come back for us. We have to give her her best chance.” Flash looked up at Twilight knowing that she was right. As tears rolled down his face he kissed his daughter on her head. Twilight looked down at her daughter for one last time, “Goodbye Twila.” She said tears rolling down her face she kissed her daughter and handed her to Flash Sentry.

He took his child, but before he ran out he grabbed a sword and looked back at his wife one last time before running out of the room. As soon as he ran out, Twilight began to cry knowing that she would not be able to see her daughter again for 28 years.

When Flash ran into the hallway, he saw some of Sunset’s guards killing two of his. The two unicorn guards looked at him ready to kill him and the baby. When they ran towards him, they tried to stab him, but Flash was too quick he dodged the weapons and fought them.

One of the unicorn’s swords almost hit Twila, but Flash stopped the sword just in time. But one of the unicorns cut his shoulder. He stabbed them both. He ran into the nursery and opened the wardrobe. He placed Twila in it, “Find us” and with those last words he closed the wardrobe. As soon as he did this though, some more of Sunset’s men came into the room. He tried to fight them, but one of them stabbed him. Flash Sentry fell to the ground and as he watched the guards open the wardrobe to find nothing in it, he smiled to himself and closed his eyes. The guards left the room to go inform their Queen.

Soon Twilight, was walking weakly into the room, but when she found her true love on the floor she tried to run to his side. “No, no! No! No! No! Please… Please come back to me.” She said pleadingly to her husband’s body. She thought True Love’s kiss might awaken him, but it did not work. “Oh, don’t worry dear, in a few moments you won’t even remember you knew him, let alone loved him.” Sunset Shimmer said as she walked into the room. Twilight looked up at her while holding Flash Sentry in her arms, “Why did you do this?”

“Because this is my happy ending” the queen answered in a sinister way. One of her guards came up and told her that the child got away and when Twilight heard this she smiled and looked up at her “She got away... You’re going to lose. . I know that now. Good will always win.” Sunset walked over to Twilight and said in an evil voice, “We’ll see about that.” The ceiling of the room breaks apart and a twister starts to form in the room.

“Where are we going?” Twilight asked while holding her husband’s body closer to hers. “Somewhere horrible. Absolutely horrible. A place  where the only happy ending will be mine.” Right after she said that the windows shattered and a dark smoke filled the room engulfing everything and everyone in the room.
