Picnics at sunset

In a peaceful cottage on the outskirts of Ponyville, two lovers were packing a picnic basket. One was a lovely yellow pegasus pony, the other a handsome dark skinned human. Today was a special occasion for the two. Three months ago, they had finally come to terms with their feelings for each other and became a couple. As the two packed the basket with sandwiches and other light foods, they smiled at each other. Their adopted daughter was in the safe care of Rarity and Mike, so it would only be the two of them tonight.
“Did you remember the plates, dear?” Fluttershy asked.
“Got them right here. Did you pack the potato salad?” Drew replied.

With a slight grunt, Drew lifted the basket. They most likely had more food than was needed, but this was a special occasion. A romantic picnic and watching the sunset. Both he and Fluttershy wanted the night to be perfect. As the two left the cottage, the sun was just approaching the horizon. As the sun began to sink towards the horizon, a pleasant silence fell upon the two, merely content to enjoy the warmth of each other's presence. As the moon rose, a chill breeze floated past the couple, and Drew snuggled closer to Fluttershy. As he did, Fluttershy wrapped her wing around Drew. The two continued to snuggle as the moon climbed higher into the sky. Slowly, the other ponies in the park trickled out, until the two were completely alone. They picked up the picnic supplies and walked back to Fluttershy’s cottage.
