The year was 1931. I was just brought into Alcatraz after bringing down a rival gang. As expected, we weren't concragulated by the police station like we had hoped, instead we was thrown into the back of a police car and brought to the boat station where we was then cuffed and prodded onto a boat like we was cattle. Of course, I didn't go alone. I was with five other guys, Micky, Johnny, Kelly, Al, and Fin. As soon as we was being pushed into our cells, I, the genius, started to come up with a plan to break us out.

"Johnny, you get the disguises as I asked?"

"Yes sir boss man!"

"Micky, you done buildin' the boat?"

"Yea."

"Al, you done with the distraction?"

"Yes sir, explosives are ready!"

"Fin, you snagged some of the shooters from the gun room without gettin' seen."

He simply nodded.

The plan was finally in motion. We had planned for months to break out of this goddam shithole. Of course, I had contributed as well. When I say 'we' I meant that I had created the plan and created the secret meeting room. The nincompoops I worked with couldn't shoot a gun if I wasn't there to direct them on how to do it. 'They're all idiots. Once we're out, I'm gunna get rid of 'em, and find better associates to work with.' I thought to myself as I grabbed a disguise and a Tommy Gun. The rest of my gang followed suit.

"Now then, let's drag this boat out to the docks and hightail it the fuck out!" Mickey said, getting ready to drag the boat out.

"Hold your fucking horses Mick, we still have to wait for Kelly." Al replied, checking the rounds for his MG.

Micky let go of the boat. It was at that moment that Kelly decided to come in, fully drunk on his cheap booze.

"Alwrights bicthes, letsth go!" He said, falling face first into the concrete.

I sighed and signaled for Mickey to help me get him onto the boat.

"Argh, he is deceptively heavy." Mickey said, picking up Kelly.

"Yea, yea, we just gotta focuse on getting out." I said. Whoopsie daisy, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Billy, leader of the Syphill Gang. I personally would have preferred The Whites, but I gotta live with what I get or it's the Chair for me.

Anyways, back to the scenario. We loaded him into the boat, and started to pick up the Jerry-rigged boat when our plans went south; about 7 guards with Tommy Guns and rifles entered the room and started shooting at us. I instinctively rolled towards cover and pulled out my shooter. The rest of my men did so as well. Sadly, Kelly didn't do it in time (after all, he was unconcious) and was torn open with tommy gun bullets. His guts were splattered upon the walls and his head went flying off his body. I cocked my shooter and crawled out from cover.

"You fuckas are gonna go ta hell for what you did to Kelly!" I yelled, letting loose my bloodthirsty desires upon the guards. My gang, upon also seeing Kelly's corpse, got up and started spraying as well. However, our revenge was in vain. Johnny took a bullet to the head, Al was ripped apart from the bullets, Fin tried rushing one with a shiv, but it was turned back at him and was stabbed through the eye. Last of them, Mick tried to be a hero, but was fucking shredded by the bullets. The only one left was me. I took the secondary pea-shooter I had, aimed it at my temple, and pulled the trigger.

I was met with darkness.

Cold, cold darkness.

And then, color. Lots of color. I couldn't believe it. Was I going to heaven? Or is this just purgatory where I would face the dead that I had killed? Then, my question was semi answered; a bright flash of light, and then I was in a dark and damp forest, with the rest of my gang laying unconcious in the middle of a clearing. I got to my feet, and fell face first into the dirt. I tried standing up again, and successfully got to my feet. I looked around for a shooter, and noticed it near a bush.

I scrambled towards my shooter, only to see a small pair of paws or so grab it and pull it into the bush. I grabbed the shooter as well and tugged on it, pulling out a raccoon in the process. Fucking asshole animals. I shot the raccoon a look that could probably overpower a flak cannon, and usually the stare would make people go away. However, the little fucker felt like disrespecting me. It stuck its tongue at and started to try to bite me.

For some reason, I lost my cool. I unholstered my .357 Revolver and blew the bastard's brains out the back of it's head. Although, the bits of it's brain and it's blood looked off. Like something you might see in a cartoon. I disregarded this and walked over to where my associates lay. They looked alright to me, no bullet wounds or injuries. This was what worried me. If this was a sort of purgatory, it was sure as hell a semi clean one. I shook Mick awake.

"Wake up Mick." I said.

He slowly opened his eyes
