Chapters Friendship is an Open Wound
He sat next to her.
She blushed.
He smiled.
"I'm Starswirl. I love to study and read about magic! I hope we can become great friends, Princess." He exclamed as bright as a sunny day.
"Yes, Starswirl. I think we'll become the best of friends."Celestia said.
Luna was just getting out of class when a familiar figure came into sight.
"Tia!" She squealed with delight as she went to hug Celestia.
But some pony else was with her. Starswirl was walking right by her side and he was loving every second of it.
"Come on, silly. We've got to go home." Celestia spoke in a calm, almost motherly voice.
"Okay! But...Who's your little friend?" Luna asked mischievously.
" I am Starswirl. It's an honor to meet you, my lady." He smiled, but in such a way that it was almost egotistical in itself. It became one of his quirks. Especially the canine that somewhat stuck out in his top row of teeth.
"Wow! You met a gentleman, Tia!" Luna whispered to Celestia.
When they got to the castle, Celestia paused.
"Starswirl, where do you live?" She inquired.
" I know this might be weird... But I live in the castle now." He whispered.
Celestia and Luna froze in their tracks.
" What?!" They both screeched as Starswirl casually stood in front of them.
"Yes. Haven't your parents at least told you, Tia? I'm also your new suitor!"
In Celestia's mind, this was the oddest shock of her life. She ran into the castle, and was shocked to find her mother casually playing cards with her father.
"M-mother... When were you going to tell me about Starswirl?"
Her mother froze.
" I um... Forgot?" She wheezed.
" But.... But how!?" Celestia whispered, obviously hurt.
"I'm only in eight grade!"
Friendship is an Open Wound
" Darling, when we first gave birth to you, we knew that you were to rule after us." Celestia's mother stated.
" Yes. And you need a king to help you in that rule." Her father chimed in, his eyes sympathetic to her daughter's tricky situation.
" But-but he's just my good friend, father!" She sobbed. Celestia knew well what happened when her suitor came. She then had to stop going to school and train to run the whole country.
"He's not even an alicorn. What happens if he dies ? She woefully inquired.
" That answer will come when he is the most powerful unicorn in Equestria. Of course, there are two ways he can turn in his destiny. He will decide." He mother calmly said, almost sending shivers down Celestia's body. She ran out, not bearing anymore.
Luna was jealous. She sat on her cushions, looking into the night sky she rose. Her stars twinkled and lit the oasis that most feared. No one payed her attention. Everyone obsessed over Tia, and her suitor friend. She buried her hoof into the pillow, trying to hide where the kids at the academy used to punch her. She was called useless constantly. But she survived. She wished she wasn't royalty, that her talent was like her sisters. An elaborate talent, like raising the sun. She began to sob, pulling her razor out again, rolling up her sleeve.

A new year, a new disaster.
It's year 59 of the Canterlot order.
Things couldn't be better for the king and queen, and their beautiful daughters couldn't agree more.
But Celestia and Luna went throughout what we all go through as fillies. And it was the worst. Puberty .

And then off they went, into the main streets of Canterlot and throughout alleys whizzing and whirling to get to class. Living in a castle made things hard for the girls. Sure, they were royalty, but it wasn't all it was rumored to be. They were constantly at school, and their summer solstice break was spent training to raise the sun and moon.
It wasn't fun for Luna, for she wanted to play buy cool things.(yes, she was generic.)
Celestia was bummed because she couldn't call her friends and go to the dress shop as often.
But they survived, and learned how to fully harvest their talents. They each had their flanks adorned with cutie marks. Luna, a moon, and Celestia, a sun. Luna was jealous of Tia's wonderful mark, for she believed it made hers look like a cheep Nightmare's Night tattoo.
When they got to the academy, Luna entered her class to be teased and tossed around like a salad. She was then scolded for her tardiness and disruption of the class.
Celestia galloped like a beauty into the easily perverted classroom. She twirled her bouncy pink ponytail and smiled a smile only a vixen could. Her cutie mark shone through her short dress, and she flowed in a bit too elegant to be late. Her wings opened to stretch a bit, then closed again. She was the definition of middle school beauty.
She sat, only to be bombarded by greetings and gifts for the first day celebration at their school. But she heard a large smash, and looked to see a short,stout blue unicorn. He had dashing glasses and a wonderful look in his clumsy physique that made her so very fascinated. She was stunned by this one new colt.
And his name was Starswirl.
