Chapters Mikael looked closely at the orb of light, and wondered "Why were i dragged here? ". "Could this be one of the sources of the radiation? But, the newspaper said nothing about radiation here. Hmmmmmm... " Mikael said to himself. He looked around to see where he was, and was surprised to see he was not far from home. "If this thing is outputting radiation, and i have the same symptoms as those other people, it must this thing that made me grow this horn. ". Mikael got an idea, and opened the newspaper, luckily he had hold on to it, and analyzed the map showing the places in the world were the radiation is showing up. "No places near here, and it seems to be randomly spread over the earth. this can't spread much radiation, or else it would have been discovered by now. someone will find it eventually though ". Mikael was just about to touch the orb, when someone, or something, started talking to him "Who are you? what are you doing here? ". Mikael looked around without seeing anyone, and then heard it, it must definitively be an it, again "Answer now, don't you know who i am? "
"If i try to just think an answer, maybe the voice will hear me " Mikael thought and was immediately answered "That is correct. why don't you know this? Every unicorn is trained at this. ". "Unicorns? " Mikael thought confused. "Yes, are you not a unicorn? Only a unicorn or a alicorn could send a mental signal like that. " "I'm not a horse with a horn, as for an alicorn, i don't know what that is. ". Mikael was getting really confused when the voice in his head asked a very peculiar question "Where in Equestria are you? ". "Equestria? where is that? I'm in North Europe. " It was like Mikael had been hit with a confuse ray. "you're not in Equestria? Where are you then... no. it can't be... are you of a bipedal race? " "What? yes, of course i am, what else would i be? Oh wait, unicorn, apparently ". Mikael moved his arm closer to the orb. "That is what i thought. But you shouldn't be able to send out a mental signal ". Mikael touched the orb, and everything immediately turned white.

"Princess... Princess! " Twilight Sparkle asked. "What is it Twilight Sparkle " Princess Celestia answered. "You were suddenly so quiet and distant. Is everything alright? " "Yes, my faithful student, everything is fine ". Twilight Sparkle checked her checklist and then said "I think somepony else should take over here now, i feel really tired and besides, most of the work is already done ". "That is probably the best solution " Celestia answered "I'll get a replacement, go and get some sleep. "
"Oh, what a wonderful field of books! there are even books growing on the trees! " Twilight sparkle said. "Twilight, Twilight! " someone yelled in the distance. The sound grew stronger. "Twilight! ". "TWILIGHT! ". Twilight Sparkle woke up violently, only to see that Spike were trying to wake her up. "Oh, it was just you ". "Of course it was me, who else could it have been? " Spike asked puzzled. "Ugh, never mind, i was just having a dream " Twilight answered, and yawned. "Why did you wake me up so early anyways? ". "Princess Celestia has asked for you and the elements to come to the containment control base. She didn't say why " Spike answered, and continued "I've made a light breakfast for you, want some". "Yeah, sure. I'm pretty hungry" Twilight said, and got out of bed.
"Spike, go fetch Rainbow dash and tell her to get Fluttershy " Twilight said, and continued "Applejack should be here soon with Pinkie Pie, so i should go to Rarity and get her to come too ". Twilight walked to the Carousel Boutique, and wondered why the Princess would need them. "Maybe the outbreak is worsening? " Twilight thought while she knocked on Rarity's door. After a short while Rarity opened the door "Darling, why do you wake me up so early, you know i need my beauty sleep ". "Sorry Rarity, but the princess has asked for all six of us to come. She didn't tell why. " Twilight answered, getting a little frantic. "But you need to hurry up, we can't be late, the princess is waiting for us! ". Rarity sighed, and said "But a lady simply can't go undressed to meet the princess! ". "Ugh, we don't have time for this " Twilight said, and started pushing Rarity. "But, Twilight, you can't mean that i should go undressed? " "Yes i do, now stop struggling and we will get there faster. "
"I hope Princess Celestia don't have anything scary to tell us " said Fluttershy, getting scared. "It's nothing for the fastest Pegasus in Equestria " Rainbow Dash almost yelled out. Twilight cleared her throat "The princess has asked for our audience, and we need to hurry " Fluttershy refused to move "Fluttershy, Darling, there is probably nothing to worry about. " Rarity said, trying to calm her down. "So there's a probability?" Fluttershy said, getting more frightened by the second. "We don't have time for this " Twilight said, using her magic to drag Fluttershy along.

"Thank you for meeting up on a so short notice " Princess Celestia said, and continued "The reason i have called you here is that last night, one source of pollution let out a burst of energy. I don't know what has caused this, and need all of you to find that out while I go to Fillydelphia. " "We will do our best princess " Twilight answered. "That is reassuring to know. Take care my little ponies " Said the princess, flying away. "Okay ponies, the source of pollution is located just outside of the Everfree forest. Rainbow Dash, i would like you to give us an overview " Twilight instructed the ponies. "Got it " said Rainbow Dash, before dashing of. "Rarity, i need you to help me holding back the contamination, when we find out what has caused the burst in energy " "Of course, i will do anything for our princess! " Twilight was just about to give some instructions to the rest of the ponies when Rainbow Dash came crashing down. When she recovered, a couple of seconds later, she said "I saw something lying besides the source. It wasn't a pony or anything I've ever seen in my life! " And continued "It looked like it was sleeping, or knocked out. " After thinking a little about what Rainbow Dash had said, Twilight said "It must have something to do with the burst of energy. We need to get it out of there, it may be our only hope to discover why this happened. "
"Applejack, you and Pinkie go get the hot air balloon, maybe we can get the thing out of there from the air." Twilight ordered Applejack, who replied "Sure thing sugar cube. come on pinkie" "okie dokie lokie!" Then Twilight turned to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash "I will need you two to get the thing when Applejack has hoisted it up from the Contaminated zone " "Got it! " They said in unison. Fifteen minutes later Applejack and Pinkie Pie was back with the balloon, and some rope. "Okay, Applejack and Pinkie go in the balloon. Rainbow dash and Fluttershy, drag the balloon just over the spot where you saw it. "
"Applejack, this is the moment, you think you can do it? It can't be easy from up here. " Rainbow dash said to Applejack. "Ah can do it my sleep. " Applejack answered, and threw the lasso. it missed. "Ah can do it, bad luck, thats all " "Bad luck, yeah right " Rainbow Dash mumbled. Applejack ignored it, and threw the lasso again. This time it caught what looked like the things leg, and Applejack said "Told ya ". Applejack began to heist the thing up, getting help from Pinkie. When it was out of the zone, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy grabbed a hold in it, and began to fly it back to Twilight with it.
"Ugh, what happened, where am I? " Mikael said while opening his eyes, just to see six pastel colored ponies. "What. The. Fuck "

One thing, when talking about the Confuse ray, yes, I am talking about the most annoying attack in pokèmon history.
Mikael moaned as he got up. The ponies were talking to each other. "Ow, my head... waitaminit... Talking ponies, but that's not possible! How can they do that?" He said out loud, maybe too loud. A cyan colored pony approached him and said "How we talk? That's a fine question coming from a monster like you!" "Calm down Rainbow Dash" A purple pony said. "I'm the monster? you are a winged pony, wait, are you a pegasus?" Mikael replied back. "Am I a pegasus? yes, of course I am, what else would i be?" "And there's a unicorn. And another pegasus. This is impossible!" Mikael continued, like Rainbow Dash hadn't said anything. Then the purple unicorn turned to Mikael and asked "Who are you? What are you? Why did you come here? Answer, I am the student of Princess Celestia herself." Mikael replied "oh yeah, Celestia, i have heard that name before. as for the questions, my name is Mikael, I am a human and I don't know why, or how for that matter, I am here."
The purple unicorn took a pause to think about what he had said. Then she said "Let me get this straight, you neither know how you got here nor where you are, is that correct?" Mikael replied "Yep, you got it. got any food? I am hungry as hell." "Not right here, but we can get some." Mikael was trying to get on his feet, when a pink blur appeared out of nowhere. At first he was startled, nearly getting out of balance, but then saw it was one of the ponies. She was handing him a cupcake, where could she have got that? Mikael took the cupcake and ate it. "Thanks" Mikael said, and the pink pony seemed very pleased. "Now it's my turn to ask questions. Where am I?" Mikael asked, followed by Weird looks from the ponies, except maybe the purple one. The purple one replied "You are in Equestria, the home of ponies of all kinds." "Yeah, I understood that, but Where am I? What planet, which dimension?" Mikael continued. The white pony started talking, sounding very confused. "We don't understand what you are talking about darling, what are a "planet"?" "A planet is a big ball of rocks or gas floating in space, usually around a..." Mikael stopped, noticing the perplexed looks on the ponies faces. "Never mind. Can i get some food, that cupcake was good, but not really filling." The purple pony replied "Sure, we'll get you some food. Can you walk?" "Yep, my legs are fine now."

Some time later Mikael found himself in a little shop, selling cakes and other treats. "Now, before we continue with the questioning, maybe we shall tell each others names? My name is Mikael, what is yours?" Mikael said. The ponies told him their names, although the one named "Rainbow Dash" seemed reluctant. "Maybe she is still skeptical of me " Mikael thought. "Know, what do you want?" Pinkie Pie asked "Hay fries, daffodil sandwich, cupcakes, I can make nearly anything!". "Daffodil sandwich? Yuck, I don't eat flowers! and what the heck is hay fries?" Mikael replied, and Pinkie Pie looked sad. Mikael noticed that and said "I'm sorry, I've had a bad day, and the reason i said that wasn't because i think you are a bad cook, but because I really can't eat flowers. I'm sure you are a wonderful cook". Pinkie Pie brightened up. "So, what do you eat?" Twilight asked. "Bread and other baked goods, vegetables and fruit, meat" Mikael said. the group went quiet. "With meat you mean parts of animals bodies? good heavens, you can't possibly mean that" Rarity replied. "Well, I do". Mikael looked around to see how the ponies reacted. Twilight, standing closest, had an understanding look on her face. Rainbow Dash looked like she was now certain he was a real Monster. Pinkie Pie wasn't paying attention. Applejack had a horrid look on her face. Rarity fainted. Fluttershy didn't look like she was in anyway surprised or shocked, which was odd, as she struck Mikael as very shy, timid and easily shocked. surely she just hadn't heard him. "Would you like some apple pie" Pinkie Pie asked Mikael "Sure. we can discuss my eating habits after I have eaten, okay?". the ponies nodded, except of Pinkie Pie, which was already making that pie.
One apple pie and several cupcakes later Mikael was stuffed, even though Pinkie Pie ate half of the pie. "Now, to the subject of me eating meat. Listen, it's what i do, my species are supposed to eat meat. It's natural, in my world anyway. If being myself is wrong, then I want to stay wrong". The ponies were speechless. "Of course, I am not myself in any sense anymore, so that shouldn't be a problem" Mikael muttered under his breath, avoiding any of the ponies hearing. "So, do anyone have a mirror?" Mikael asked. "Oh, I do, I do!" Pinkie Pie shouted and wizzed away. A couple of seconds later she wizzed back again, with a small mirror in her hoofs. Mikael wondered how she could hold it with her hoofs. Mikael looked at his face with the mirror, or more correctly at his horn and the surrounding area. He saw that there had begun to grow red fur in the surrounding area. "Damn, looks like i have to talk to some of these ponies about this." Mikael said.

Fun fact: there is flowers humans can eat, for example dandelions. The flowers from dandelions can be used to make wine and it's leaves can be eaten.
"God, why can't i sleep?" thought Mikael. It was three o'clock at night, and Mikael had to get early up the next morning. But still, something was bothering him. It was a headache, but unlike anything he had ever experienced. Most of the pain were coming from about the middle of his forehead. When he put his hands on his forehead he could feel a small hump. "I must have bumped my head into something" he thought, and closed his eyes and tried to sleep again. "I hope the headache is gone by the morning" Was the last thing he that was on his mind before he fell asleep.
When Mikael woke up, he was relieved that the headache was gone. Yet, something was different, he felt that something was different, until he banged his head in the shelf in his bedroom, or; not his head, but rather something that was poking out of his head. When he got to the bathroom, he saw the horn. It was a red-ish colored horn with a spiral shape, that was about 10 centimeters long. "What the fuck" he said out loud, and studied the horn some more. "How did i get this?" .

In Canterlot, Princess Celestia was having a bad day. Not only had another source of pollution been found, but Luna was also extra moody that day. When she had tried to talk to her, Luna just replied with a small mumble. "Come on sister, we need to help the unicorn teams stop the pollution from spreading" Celestia said, and Luna just looked away. "What is the matter Luna? you aren't usually this moody." Luna mumbled some more and refused to get up. Celestia gave up, and let her sister be in her room. "I hope we can fix this without Luna, or else things are going to get bad. I might even have to call the elements for help."
The pollutions origin was unknown, but Celestia had an idea. She is one of the oldest beings alive after all, at least of beings that can have their age displayed in real numbers anyways. About 2000 years ago, the remains of Discords magic opened several portals to another world, inhabited by bipedal creatures. One grouping of those creatures that had advanced mathematics asked when we would come back. They deciphered the answer to about 2000 years in the future, a prediction that probably wasn't that wrong as it turns out. But, one thing is different. the portals opened 2000 years ago didn't spew out as nearly as much pollution as the pollution sources, almost nothing at all! But a notable thing about the pollution sources is that all of them have different grades of toxicity, several of them releasing next to nothing.
"Guard, what is the situation in Fillydelphia ?" Celestia asked one of her guards. "It's fine, the unicorns are able to cope with the spreading. The earth ponies and the pegasi are cleaning up toxic material from places earlier contaminated by pollution. " "What about in Manehattan? " The princess asked worried, because there was just a smaller amount of unicorns in Manehattan, and if it were a major outbreak, the city might be lost. "Turns out it was a smaller outbreak, we have nearly isolated the various sources. ". Celestia was relieved, and asked "How about Ponyville? " "Another small outbreak, most sources are situated in the Everfree forest. It seems that the forest has it own way to clean up pollution. " "Good, this is better than i feared, the main outbreak is near Fillydelphia, and they are coping. we need to find a way to eliminate the sources... Guard, get the royal unicorn corps on it! " Celestia said. "Very good princess. " the guard answered, and walked out of the throne room.

"Whats up with the hat Mikael? " his dad asked him. "Oh... it's nothing. I just wanted to use it today. It's been a while since last time i used it. " Mikael answered, and took on his coat and boots. "Going for a walk? " "Yeah, I'll be back in an hour or something. ". Mikael started walking. It was some snow outside, but the roads wasn't icy, not yet. As Mikael passed the local supermarket he saw the main headlines: Thousands of Americans sick from radiation, President blames Iran . "Strange, maybe it has something to do with me growing a horn " Mikael thought. Mikael bought the newspaper and read through it. There has been reports of radiation sickness all around the world. At the UN there is chaos, nations accusing each other for using some sort of nuclear weapon. America and the European Union are sending troops into Iran, convinced that their Nuclear program has something to do with all the radiation. "Huh, i can't see that there are any radiation nearby " Mikael thought, but then one article caught his attention: Strange mutations from radiation! "hmmmmm " Two men, one from the USA and the other from Spain. The American has lost his fingers and gained a green color on his hand. the Spanish man has grown several patches of blue fur.
Just when Mikael came out of the supermarket he felt a slight tingling on his forehead, and found himself being dragged by his horn. "Whats going on, where am i going " he said, and put his feet on the ground, trying to stop. It didn't work, and Mikael began trying just to keep on his feet. A couple of minutes later, Mikael found himself standing next to a floating orb of light. "What is this? "

"Have you found out where this pollution is coming from my faithful student? " Celestia asked."No princess, but i have managed to identify why it's coming out of the Everfree forest. It seems that Discords magic preferred the Everfree forest because of it's chaotic nature. Is there places like the Everfree forest near the other outbreaks? " Twilight Sparkle answered, and wrote something on her notebook. "No, but is just what we thought. Discord's magic is chaotic and random after all. " "Okay princess, you will be notified if the situation changes. ". Celestia started flying towards Manehattan, to check the progress in holding the pollution back, when she felt the presence of a mind; a mind filled with chaos, but also order, a mind with both hatred and greed, but also empathy and compassion. A mind clearly not Equestrian.

When i wrote about Celestia being on of the oldest creatures with ages that can be displayed i real numbers, i meant that Discords age would be around 3000 multiplied with the square root of -1, a number that don't exist, ergo unreal.
