legends of the bloody hill
a lone crusader knight stood atop an unnamed hill,surrounded by enemies on all sides.on the level ground below many a good knight and many an eastern warrior lay slain or wounded. he knew he would not make it out of this alive.with a shout to the heavens,he readied for the inevitable charge his foes would make.with a shout in reply the eastern warriors surged up the hill,swords and spears held high.the knight swept his sword to the left,taking the head from a foeman.he thrust forwards,plunging his blade into the eye of another.he raised his sword for a third swipe,but was stopped by an arrow in the back.the archer had gotten a lucky shot and the arrow slipped between the links of his chainmail shirt.this wound was soon followed by a sword blow to the head.and then a spear to his gut.under a hurricane of blows,he crumpled up into a bloody ball,praying for salvation and deliverance. the final blow was a sword blow that severed his head from his neck.
