Pinkie Pet

Pinkie stared down at the tombstone with the name "Gummy" engraved into it.

"C'mon Pinkie," Applejack said.

"I'll take the long way home," Pinkie replied in sorrow. She trotted off into the forest to take the long route. After a while, she heard a hoarse laugh. A gray creature pounced in front of her. It was the source of the laughing, it had a crazy look in it's eyes. It, it, it was a hyena.

"Hi there, I'm Pinkie Pie," Pinkie said to the hyena. Pinkie didn't feel like making friends at the moment, so she walked on. But the hyena followed her. Pinkie broke into a gallop. The hyena chased her.

It went on for a while. Finally, Pinkie had to catch her breath. The hyena laughed again.

"I've got an idea," Pinkie said. "If you like me so much, why don't you be my new pet! My dear friend Gummy just passed away and I'm super lonely without him."

The hyena laughed.

"Then it's settled!" Pinkie shouted.

Pinkie and the hyena ran towards her house.  Once they got in, Pinkie immediately realized that the hyena needed a name.

"Stay." Pinkie said to the hyena. She made a trip to the pet store to get some supplies.

She came back with a bowl and a collar each marked with the name: Mr.Giggles.
