Weirdly enough the house was silent. I look sleepily at my alarm clock. It was 12:00 already I over slept! It was already time to go to the reaping. Wait did I read it wrong? Oh ok it was 11:00 I still have 1 and a half hours. So I finally get up out of bed to put on my camouflage jacket and fly down from Clouds Dale. I see my friend holding her gala dress and waving it in the summer air. I smell flowers all around me, but especially I smell just baked muffins! I look around for the muffin stand. “Am I to late?” I ask. “Of course not Derpy you know I leave the best muffins for you!” Mrs. Cake says with a sweet smile. Then I see the twins in the back. “May I see them?” Mrs. Cake nods as I fly to the back of the bakery. “Hi you two muffins!” They start giggling because they love being called muffins. I look behind me and see the whistle is about to blow! Quickly I kiss the babies and fly off. I am a mother who is 16. It’s weird, but I adopted from my sister who is 31. I finally get home when I see a little filly unicorn with a pale purple coat and a blonde mane crying in a corner. “Mommy why do I have to go to the reaping?” she asks “Muffin it is a long story, but for now we need to go.” I say. “Mommy,” she says as we trot towards the reaping which starts in 20 minuets. “did you buy me some thing?” I derp as she says it. Then I fly to the stand seeing there is no one there. I sadly trot back and say “Sorry muffin but there was nothing there.” she frowns at the words coming from my mouth. I go into the square of the reaping up in Cloudsdale. I see Dinky standing on a cloud because of Twilights magic. “Ok every pony we are about to start!” says the reaping master Fleur Dis Lee “And we are about to select one courageous stallion and mare for this years Equestrian games!!! As I always say mares first!” Ok this is Dinky’s first year she wont be chosen will she no of course not. I look at the unicorn as her magic digs down to the bottom of the bowl. I flash back to when Dinky put in her card. “I’m scared to be the first one but oh well.” the card drops to the bottom of the bowl. No, no, no, NO!! I try to think of some thing but then the reaping master say “Dinky Doo!” I can’t breath! No this cant be happening to me! “I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute!” No what have I just done! I risked my own life! “MOMMY NO YOU CANT LEAVE.” she tries to grab me but I fly up. I look down on her. “Good bye my little muffin!” I say as a tear drops to the ground. “Good bye my mother my big, big muffin.” I look at her as she cries but then a couple peace ponies push me to the stage. “Now time for the stallions! Time Turner!” I look around to see what he looks like. I take a good look at him, but he looks tough and I have to try to kill him. For my little muffin. “Your districts tributes. Time Turner and Ditzy Doo!!” Chapter 3: The PlaneAs we are taken away we have to go through the police, or the peace ponies, to make sure we are safe enough to go on the plane. When we are about to get on, Fleur comes right in front of us. "Oh you two are in for a big treat. This is the biggest plane ever made. They have a dining room a bed room a little spot so you can see how it looks on the wings." she goes on but I don't listen. All I can think about is Flutters and poor Dinky. They must be all alone. The plane gets going so we have to sit down or lie down. We finally take off. "So you two are going to meet your mentor! She is a very nice lady.If you ask me she is a ruffian." She whispers the last part as she goes in to the room where the mentor is kept. "Hello *hiccup!* girls and men! *hiccup!* Nice to meet you 6!" I wave my eyes in front of the unicorn with glasses, a blue mane, and white fur. I see her cutie mark is a note. "Ok let me tell you *hiccup!* one thing! *hiccup!* District Clouds Dale *HICCUP!* has never won! I am *hic* from a different *hiccup* district." she speaks like she is about to die. We talk as we try to figure out stuff. Finally its time for bed. ...................................... I have a dream that i am back home and Nightmare moon was defeated. Dinky, Flutters, and I are all out playing. I wake up. "OK what did I say last night there was a big party and when I'm drunk I lie!" I hear out mentor scream. I sit up take a shower, wash my face, brush my teeth, and brush my mane. I go into the dining room. "I am not from a different district I used my magic to make me walk on clouds! Sorry about that. My names Vynil." We shake hooves and then go off. "So how do we find shelter?" asks Doctor Hooves. "First you need to know this. These ponies will hunt you down and gut you like a fish. Especially the careers. Their names are Star Hunter, Sunset Shimmer, Cloud Kicker, and Blue Bonnet." I stare out the window. I go out on to the wing. I fall asleep on the wing. "DITZY TIME TO GET OFF!" Scream Fleur. I wake up and quickly get ready. I see all the ponies. "I HEART DERPY!" says all the ponies. 'DOC. DOC." They scream.They all have signs with our cutie marks. then we step into a big room. Chapter 4: The ParadeTwo ponies, a pin one and a blue one, pop out. "I'm Aloe!" says the pink one. "And I'm Lotus!" says the blue one. "And we are you're stylists!" They both say in unison. "My name is Ditzy Doo or Derpy Hooves an..." they cut me off as I am talking and they throw me into a chair. "Her hair is so soft." they say and they fluff it up. Then they put in some braids, a barrette, and finally they put me in my dress. "Aww you are perfect!" I stare in the mirror. The dress is turquoise, with bubble bracelets and clouds on the back of it. My hair was a big bun with a braid wrapped around it. It was nice. "THE PARADE STARTS IN 4 MINUETS!" screams a pony in a striped shirt. I see Star Hunter and Sunset Shimmer in the back in dresses and tuxes of the sun. Then i remember that Celestia lives there now with no wings. I think about poor Luna. Nightmare Moons real name is un known. I think back to the parade because we go out in 10 seconds. Out carriage is a cloud pulled by peace ponies. All of the ponies are out but us. We start being pulled and as the ponies go faster our cloud bursts and we are both standing on separate clouds. Then our clothes bring clouds flowing out of them with a spectacular sight. People are throwing us flowers and money. Wow I hope my daughter is watching this! I think as we are pulled. Every pony is screaming. I see Flim and Flam the directors. They are yelling and laughing and I can tell they are happy. Then Doctor touches his wing to mine. I pull it away "C'mon they'll love it!" he whispers. I nod and then we hold wings. They all start screaming and stomping their hooves. When the carriage stops we all stand before Nightmare Moon, the princess. "Thank you my loyal subjects, and welcome to the 74th annual EQUESTRIAN GAMES!" she yells. Then all the Canterlot ponies start stomping their hooves. "As we all know you are all two from the 5 districts. District one The Crystal Empire, district 2 Manehatten, district 3 Fillydelphia, district 4 Saddle Arabia, and finally. district 5, Cloudsdale!" she says. "all of you will compete to the death until one lone victor comes! Now all of you go!" she disappears into a thing of purple smoke. Then we go off. "That was amazing!" says Aloe then they both crowd me and Dr. Hooves. .......................................................... That night at dinner we all sit down. Vynil and Fleur sit next to each other, of course, Aloe and Lotus sit together, and me and Dr. Hooves sit together. "That was out standing!" yells Fleur finally breaking the silence. "Now tomorrow is training and in 2 weeks you will show the ponies your skills!" says Vynil. I finish my food and say "Well Dr. Hooves can throw a giant hour glass over his head!" I say in excitement. They all look at Time Turner in shock. "Well I'm sure there will be no hour glasses in the arena. Hey you know what my mother said! She said District Cloudsdale may actually have a winner! She wasn't talking to me!" I look at him in surprise, wipe my mouth and fly away. Then I slam my door shut and go to sleep. Chapter 6: Interviews!We all finish our dinner and get ready for the inter views. Time wasn't coming down to the arena with us he would rather go with Aloe. "This is your big day! I think you look fabulous!" says Lotus in her unique voice. "Yeah right." I say. The dress is a cloud crown with little bubbles on them that float up and the dress is a light blue with clouds and more bubbles. I look at my self in the mirror and smile. "Just pretend you are talking to me!" says Lotus. I nod. Flim is on a chair next to the tributes chair. He asks the ponies in the audience if they are ready. They all stomp their hooves and scream. He calls up the first stalion, Blue Bonnet, one of the careers. "So Blue how are you?" asks Flim. He says he is fine and they ask a couple more questions. "Every pony Blue Bonnet!" he yells in an excited voice. Next was Cloud Kicker. "So Cloud are you ready?" asks Flim. "I am very ready." she says as if she were so excited for the Equestrian games she could die. They go through some more ponies. Star then Sunset then Apple Bloom. "So Apple are you good at building? asks Flim A.B. nods. Then its Sweetie Belle. "You like to sing?" he asks. "Yes it is good for calling ponies." she says in her sweet voice. They get through some other ponies. Then they finally get to Scoot. He asks her a couple of questions about her speed and agility. "That was Scootaloo!" he yells, "Now its time for Time Turner! So how are you Time?" he asks. Time says hes fine and then Flim asks him a certain question. "Is there you know any one at home?" he asks. Time shakes his head no, "Oh c'mon tell us is there some pony at home that you know like?" Finally time confesses, "There is one girl but if I did win she would have to die." Flim cocks his head, "She came with me." The crowd gasps and then I faint. ............................................................... When I wake up I'm in the infirmery. "That was quite a fall!" says Nurse Red Heart. I rub my head and think of the interview. I never did the interview. "OK kittens time to go!" says Vynil. I look at Time and think of last night again. When we leae to the tubes Lotus comes with me, not Vynil. I get on a hover craft and they put a tracker in my arm. "Ok derpy *sniff* I guess this is good bye." says Lotus. I start to shake as I am about to get in the tube. I hug Lotus good bye and finally get in the tube. She starts to cry. "Please no." I say. She can't hear me. Then I breath on the tube and write Please don't cry! she waves good bye and then I go up. I look down at my jack and open it up. In side is my little pin that Flutters gave me. The pheonix. Chapter 8: FateI quickly take out a rope and knife out of my back pack and I get ready to throw the knife. Then I see it was just a baby bunny looking for his mother. I smile at it and let it go. When it's time to go I secure the rope on to the tree branch, drop it to the floor, and wait for the fillies to be safe at the bottom. I then take the rope in my mouth and bring it down to the bottom, while flying. "Where are we going Derpy?" asks Sweetie Belle in a hushed tone. I move and bush and point to the river. They all nod when we hear a giggle. Knife still in wing I am ready to throw. I hear the laughing again. I move the girls behind me and throw the knife. It hits a girl from 10. It hits her in the eye. She falls to the ground dead. I didn't see it, but she threw a knife. it shot right through my wing. "AHH!" I scream and the girls look at me. They help me up. I am OK! I am OK! My wing is bleeding bad and the blood drips down to the ground oozing out of the whole where it shot me. I hear a familiar voice. "DERPY! DERPY!" yells the man I had to come here with. I have a crush on and he has a crush on me! I take the girls and put them behind so they don't get killed. Then I hear more hoof steps. "The careers!" I whisper. The girls the take my rope ad throw it up a tree. I half climb up the rope and half fly up the tree.we quickly pull it up before one of the ponies could grab it. Luckily Stars and Clouds wings were broken. None of them could fly up. "Nice job lover!" Says Star. They shoot a couple of arrows at us. "You'll never get us." They all decide to wait me out, wait us out. We all look down on them. Sweetie Belle taps my shoulder and shows me something on the branch next to us. It was a nest of poisonous fruit bats. I then take out my knife and then cut the nest down. One bites me. Then 3 more bite Sweetie A.B. and Scoot. The bats fall to the ground and then we jump Sweetie breaks her legs. I pick her up and run. Cloud Kicker was killed from the bats. The rest were just bit once. When Time comes back he screams at me. "RUN! ALL OF YOU! RUN RUN!!" he yells at the top of the lungs. We all start running. We finally get back to the river. "Sweetie we should soak your leg in the river." She dips her leg in the water and it burns. "Ok sorry but you need to get that bat tooth out of your neck." I say unsure. She starts to freak out. I quickly try to pull it out but she flinches and I poke her eye. "Please calm down." I quickly pull the tooth out and blood starts trickling down her neck. "Uh oh!" I say. Sweetie then pushes my wing away and starts to cry. "I feel, uh, dizzy." She then passes out. We think she passed out. "Sweetie?" asks Scoot. She starts shaking her, "SWEETIE!" She doesn't wake up. I put my wing on her should and a tear runs down my cheek. She knows shes gone. We have a moment of silence for Sweetie and then we bury her in flowers where she died. We stay silent for hours and then we hear some one. Chapter 9: New AllianceI look behind the bush that moved. He came back. I can't believe my eyes. I tell every one to come by and let me count them up. I count 1, 2, 3, and me! I bring them all into a cave and we hear some thing. Speakers. "Hello every pony and I hope you are liking the 74th annual Equestrian games!" Yeah right! I think as he goes on. "This is our one and only announcement! Listen closely. There may be only two victors. They can be from different districts or the same one! There are 8 ponies left. Enjoy the rest of the horror, er I mean fun!" he finishes the announcement with a menacing laugh. "Only two are aloud to win. Ah volunteer to go first." says Apple Bloom. I freeze at the sound of it. "Apple Bloom what are you talking about!" says Scoot. "I'm just saying the rest of you should go home..." she whispers the rest of the sentence in her ear and Scoot starts to cry. I know what she said. She wanted the two Love Birds to leave together. I can't believe I volunteered for Dinky. She knows the wild and resources. She would have new friends,but she would have to watch them die.Or I would have to watch HER die on television. I'm not trying to sound mean, but it's the truth. No one noticed, but Apple Bloom left about 2 minuets ago. "Apple Bloom!?" asks Scootaloo. "She's right the... Apple Bloom!?" i yell. We all go outside and start to look for her "Ok we all split up. You 2 take the sky. I will take the ground." we all split up. I take the skies and start looking. "APPLE BLOOM!" I yell. "DERPY!!" I hear a filly yell. I start lying fast towards the voice. She yells it again and again. I see Apple Bloom and her leg is trapped in a foot trap for animals. I am about to go help her when a knife enters her body. Chapter 10: The BagI grab her and pull the hair out of her eyes. "Shh! Shh! Stars and moons and air balloons. Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again. Teddy bears of Pink. Ducks and lambs of white. Don't you cry dear I'm here now I'll be you nightlight." We both start crying as I sing "Stars and moons and air balloons. Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I then take my wing put it under my stomach and bow down. I start to cry and I fly back home. I find Time and Scoot in the cave when I get back. "Did you find her!?" asks scoot. I close my eyes and shrivel my nose up. She frowns slowly and runs outside. About an hour later I come out side and sit next to Scoot. I hum my song. "Stars and *sniff* moons and air balloons. *sniff* Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again." she falls asleep on my lap and I bring her back in. "Hello we have a feast in the middle. It is something you will he, really need. "Medicine!" I say as I look at Times cut that I made. He grabs my hoof and pulls me down. "I don't need it." I look at him like he's crazy. "Fine! Fine I won't go." We hear a binging noise outside and fly up into the tree where it is and grab it. Yes " found some sweet mushed berries. They only have them in district 2." I feed it to him. "This is good!" he says and then he sees the note Vynil sent me from our sponsor. "No! You... aren't.... go..." "Night night Time!" I say, "Stay her Scoot." She nods and solutes. I go to the cornicopia and see 5 bags. One of them has a cloud on it. I see Apple Leaves run by and grab her bag. Ok now! I start running when some one jumps on me. We roll across the ground. It's Sunset. "You need that bag? Oh well for who? We killed your friend. What was her name? Apple Bloom? Well now shes gone! And you are ne..." A big red Stallion grabs her and hits her against the chrystal cornicopia. "What did you say? You said Apple Bloom!" he yells. "No no I didn't!" "Yes you did!" she starts screaming Star and he bangs her head against the hard wall. She dies with blood dripping from her head. I find out she cut my forehead. "Only this time 5. For Bloom!" he says. Then I notice he grabbed Stars bag. I smile and then I grabbed my bag. I bring it back home, but Time is up. I give him the bag. "What happened to your head?" I tell him what happened. I give him the medicine in the bag. "It's for your cut. here you go." he starts to put it on my head. I then reach in and give him a kiss. He kisses me back. "Uh yeah I'll just leave." says scoot as we blush. Chapter 11: EndThe next morning we all wake up and I look at Times stomach. The cut is completely gone! "Time! Time wake up! Your cut is completely gone!" I say. He wakes up and looks at my cut. "Yours is too!" he yells. We both start laughing and rubbing our wounds. I wake up Scoot and tell her that we have to move on. "Ok were are we going?" She says. "We are going to the cornicopia!" I say and she nods. We all pack our stuff and go. "Hey what time is it?" asks Time "It should be about 12:00!"I say because it is dark. "Probably trying to finish this." We all start walking a little more when we hear a scream then we see Big Mac in the sky. Then we hear a crack in the bushes. I take out my knife. It's Apple Leaves and Star right next to each other. They start to run. They are running from something not from us. Then all of a sudden we hear a roar. It shakes the whole ground. I Turn around and grab Scoot. Time gets behind me, and I am about to throw my knife. Before I can a huge Manticore jumps out and roars again. We start to run and then 3 more come alive. "C'mon scoot! Stay on my back!" I say when she starts falling off. I jump and she gets back on. We are almost to the cornicopia when Apple Leaves trampling us. Instead she trips and she is eaten from one of the Manticores. Scoot screams into my ear and I run faster. There are now 10 Manticores and the are all coming after us. We finally get to the cornicopia. Time and I fly up while Scootaloo has to jump up. "C'mon scoot you can make it!" all of a sudden Star takes Scoots hoof and takes her off of the cornicopia. Then she almost falls. "Ok I will put the filly down if you guys let me kill you!" I cross my legs and stare at him. "Why would we do that?" I ask. He them almost drops her and then he picks her back up. She is crying. "Put the kid down." says Time spear I hoof. Star puts her down on the cornicopia. I throw a knife at him before Time could throw his spear. The knife hits him right in the eye and he falls back. He hits scoot and she falls with him. She whispers something. "I love you." she said. I look down on the Manticore now carrying a dead filly with blood dripping down from her head. The sun then comes up and then we hear a microphone. "Welcome to the second finale of the Equestrian Games! There is a slight rule change. The last rule change has been revoked. You two must fight to the death!" Time and I just stared at each other. "They don't need a winner! Eat these on three." I say with blue berries in my hand. "What are they?" "Night lock." he stares at me at the name of the berries. "One." I say. "Two." he says while pushing back my hair. "Wait! Stop! Every pony this years winner of the Equestrian Games!" He looks at me and he picks me up and swings me around. A hover craft picks us up and brings us back to the Capitol. We have an inter view. "Derpy how did you feel when you found Time in the bushes?" "I felt like the luckiest pony ever." I say.The audience awes and then it's time for us to leave. When we get home i see Dinky Doo waving at me on Flutters back. I see she is using magic to hold a sign that says, "Welcome home Mommy Muffin!" I start to cry when Might Mare Moon gives us the crown. I get back to our cottage, and start to pack. "Dinky I have to tell you something." she looks at me, "I'm pregnant." She stares at me and then hugs me. I kiss her on the head and then we go to bed. The end! Chapter 2: The RoomI look at Dinky and I see her crying. Well why shouldnt she be crying! I just left my daughter just to die some where and then a plane will just pick me up to let me rot! I want to kill my self. I mean was it really... worth it? I sit in a small room to wait for visitors. Finally some pony opens the door. "Hello?" I ask anxiously. Then Dinky runs in and squeezes me tight. "Mommy! Please don't take away my mommy!" "Shh shh!" I say. "Stars and moons and air balloons. Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I kiss her on the head. "TIMES UP!" yells a peace keeper and he tugs Dinky away. I hum to my self when my friend Flutter Shy comes in. She hugs me tight. "Oh Ditzy why did this have to happen to you!?" she screams quietly. I hug her back and just close my eyes. She gives me something. A ring with a Phoenix in the middle it is my little pin. Chapter 5: TrainingWe wake up next morning go in an elevator and get to training. When we get there me and Time go to different stations he goes to knotting station and i go to the knives. I take one knife and hit a dummy strait in the heart with it! When I realize what I just did I do it to another Dummy. Hit it strait on the target. I get to show off alittle, but then it's time for a new station. I go to many stations but i'm not good at any of them. "This is hard!" I say to Time. "Yeah it is! Uhh I think you have some shadows." he says. I turn aroun to see a unicorn a pegasaus and an earth pony behind a wall. They all disapear when a take a step towards them. Then the unicorn filly trots up to me and looks at me wide eyed. "Will you mmph?" she asks. "I'm sorry?" I ask as she stares up at me. She mummbles it again, but I still can't hear her. "OH FOR PETE SAKE! Will you allie with the three of us!?" asks a little orange pegasaus filly, with purpleish pinkish hair, and purple eyes. I look at all three of them. The one that mummbled was white with a purple and pink mane, a horn, and green eyes. The one that never talked at all had red hair, yellow fur, and golden eyes. I nod and they all high five. "My names Scootaloo and theese are Apple Bloom, and Sweetie belle." says the orange one. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle wave. "I know your guyses nick names already then! A.B S.B and Scoot!" I say with a big smile. .......................................................... Three weeks later I find out that Apple bloom is from district 3, Scoot is from district 11, and Sweetie Belle is from district 4. We all go in one by one Scoot does amazing speed. Sweetie Belle does singing as in calling for ponies. A.B. does construction as in building housees. Finally its my turn. I show them my throwing skills. I hit about five dummies and then throw a knife at them showing that I hate them. "Thanks for choosing me!" I say with a smile. They stare at me as I leave the room. "Why would you do that!" screams Fleur. "I remembered that I hated them and that those knives just might kill some pony!" I yell. Vynil is happy about me and she sits next to me. We all have dinner. "Ok so tomorrow I will take you to the arena." syas Vynil. I shiver to the thought of the cold dark arena. Then I remember it's for Dinky. Vynil looks at me and sees that I start to cry. "After dinner are some quick interviews!" says Fleur, "Be ready!" Chapter 7: The Games BeginEvery moment you have to turn to check your back. When you find its nothing you shrug. Then you remember Losing means certain death. Winning means fame and fortune The Equestrian Games have begun. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ When I see the pin I feel hope. I think about my little muffin watching this at home with Flutters. I am scared to death. Then I see A.B. Scoot and S.B. They wave at me and blush, and then right next to Scoot I see Time. He is shaking and I can see it across the cornicopia. I find my self standing ready to run. I look up at the sun and all most blind my self and then see my surroundings. A big forest. 46 45 44 43 42 41 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 goes the clock. All we hear are big booms 4 3 2 1 BONG. Every pony running around every where knives bows and then I see throwing knives. Instead I go for the bag. Some one throws a knife at a man in front of me and then I see her. I run and then run into Apple Leaves. We both go in opposite directions I keep running and running and running. then I fall. The knife cuts my back a little. I can just imagine the cornicopia. Boom 1 BOOM 2 BOOM 3 BOOM 4. I stop counting and just listen to them. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! Eleven ponies dead in the cornicopia ready to be picked up and start to rot. I just hope A.B. S.B. and Scoot. I finally fly up to a tree to find three little fillies screaming. "Girls!" I yell. "SHHHHH!" they all say.I cover my mouth remembering that I might kill every pony by yelling. I look at them all and then hug them. Then we hear a rustling in the bushes.
Chapter 1: ReapingI wake up another miserable morning just to hear my younger daughter crying. Weirdly enough the house was silent. I look sleepily at my alarm clock. It was 12:00 already I over slept! It was already time to go to the reaping. Wait did I read it wrong? Oh ok it was 11:00 I still have 1 and a half hours. So I finally get up out of bed to put on my camouflage jacket and fly down from Clouds Dale. I see my friend holding her gala dress and waving it in the summer air. I smell flowers all around me, but especially I smell just baked muffins! I look around for the muffin stand. “Am I to late?” I ask. “Of course not Derpy you know I leave the best muffins for you!” Mrs. Cake says with a sweet smile. Then I see the twins in the back. “May I see them?” Mrs. Cake nods as I fly to the back of the bakery. “Hi you two muffins!” They start giggling because they love being called muffins. I look behind me and see the whistle is about to blow! Quickly I kiss the babies and fly off. I am a mother who is 16. It’s weird, but I adopted from my sister who is 31. I finally get home when I see a little filly unicorn with a pale purple coat and a blonde mane crying in a corner. “Mommy why do I have to go to the reaping?” she asks “Muffin it is a long story, but for now we need to go.” I say. “Mommy,” she says as we trot towards the reaping which starts in 20 minuets. “did you buy me some thing?” I derp as she says it. Then I fly to the stand seeing there is no one there. I sadly trot back and say “Sorry muffin but there was nothing there.” she frowns at the words coming from my mouth. I go into the square of the reaping up in Cloudsdale. I see Dinky standing on a cloud because of Twilights magic. “Ok every pony we are about to start!” says the reaping master Fleur Dis Lee “And we are about to select one courageous stallion and mare for this years Equestrian games!!! As I always say mares first!” Ok this is Dinky’s first year she wont be chosen will she no of course not. I look at the unicorn as her magic digs down to the bottom of the bowl. I flash back to when Dinky put in her card. “I’m scared to be the first one but oh well.” the card drops to the bottom of the bowl. No, no, no, NO!! I try to think of some thing but then the reaping master say “Dinky Doo!” I can’t breath! No this cant be happening to me! “I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute!” No what have I just done! I risked my own life! “MOMMY NO YOU CANT LEAVE.” she tries to grab me but I fly up. I look down on her. “Good bye my little muffin!” I say as a tear drops to the ground. “Good bye my mother my big, big muffin.” I look at her as she cries but then a couple peace ponies push me to the stage. “Now time for the stallions! Time Turner!” I look around to see what he looks like. I take a good look at him, but he looks tough and I have to try to kill him. For my little muffin. “Your districts tributes. Time Turner and Ditzy Doo!!”
Chapter 3: The PlaneAs we are taken away we have to go through the police, or the peace ponies, to make sure we are safe enough to go on the plane. When we are about to get on, Fleur comes right in front of us. "Oh you two are in for a big treat. This is the biggest plane ever made. They have a dining room a bed room a little spot so you can see how it looks on the wings." she goes on but I don't listen. All I can think about is Flutters and poor Dinky. They must be all alone. The plane gets going so we have to sit down or lie down. We finally take off. "So you two are going to meet your mentor! She is a very nice lady.If you ask me she is a ruffian." She whispers the last part as she goes in to the room where the mentor is kept. "Hello *hiccup!* girls and men! *hiccup!* Nice to meet you 6!" I wave my eyes in front of the unicorn with glasses, a blue mane, and white fur. I see her cutie mark is a note. "Ok let me tell you *hiccup!* one thing! *hiccup!* District Clouds Dale *HICCUP!* has never won! I am *hic* from a different *hiccup* district." she speaks like she is about to die. We talk as we try to figure out stuff. Finally its time for bed. ...................................... I have a dream that i am back home and Nightmare moon was defeated. Dinky, Flutters, and I are all out playing. I wake up. "OK what did I say last night there was a big party and when I'm drunk I lie!" I hear out mentor scream. I sit up take a shower, wash my face, brush my teeth, and brush my mane. I go into the dining room. "I am not from a different district I used my magic to make me walk on clouds! Sorry about that. My names Vynil." We shake hooves and then go off. "So how do we find shelter?" asks Doctor Hooves. "First you need to know this. These ponies will hunt you down and gut you like a fish. Especially the careers. Their names are Star Hunter, Sunset Shimmer, Cloud Kicker, and Blue Bonnet." I stare out the window. I go out on to the wing. I fall asleep on the wing. "DITZY TIME TO GET OFF!" Scream Fleur. I wake up and quickly get ready. I see all the ponies. "I HEART DERPY!" says all the ponies. 'DOC. DOC." They scream.They all have signs with our cutie marks. then we step into a big room.
Chapter 4: The ParadeTwo ponies, a pin one and a blue one, pop out. "I'm Aloe!" says the pink one. "And I'm Lotus!" says the blue one. "And we are you're stylists!" They both say in unison. "My name is Ditzy Doo or Derpy Hooves an..." they cut me off as I am talking and they throw me into a chair. "Her hair is so soft." they say and they fluff it up. Then they put in some braids, a barrette, and finally they put me in my dress. "Aww you are perfect!" I stare in the mirror. The dress is turquoise, with bubble bracelets and clouds on the back of it. My hair was a big bun with a braid wrapped around it. It was nice. "THE PARADE STARTS IN 4 MINUETS!" screams a pony in a striped shirt. I see Star Hunter and Sunset Shimmer in the back in dresses and tuxes of the sun. Then i remember that Celestia lives there now with no wings. I think about poor Luna. Nightmare Moons real name is un known. I think back to the parade because we go out in 10 seconds. Out carriage is a cloud pulled by peace ponies. All of the ponies are out but us. We start being pulled and as the ponies go faster our cloud bursts and we are both standing on separate clouds. Then our clothes bring clouds flowing out of them with a spectacular sight. People are throwing us flowers and money. Wow I hope my daughter is watching this! I think as we are pulled. Every pony is screaming. I see Flim and Flam the directors. They are yelling and laughing and I can tell they are happy. Then Doctor touches his wing to mine. I pull it away "C'mon they'll love it!" he whispers. I nod and then we hold wings. They all start screaming and stomping their hooves. When the carriage stops we all stand before Nightmare Moon, the princess. "Thank you my loyal subjects, and welcome to the 74th annual EQUESTRIAN GAMES!" she yells. Then all the Canterlot ponies start stomping their hooves. "As we all know you are all two from the 5 districts. District one The Crystal Empire, district 2 Manehatten, district 3 Fillydelphia, district 4 Saddle Arabia, and finally. district 5, Cloudsdale!" she says. "all of you will compete to the death until one lone victor comes! Now all of you go!" she disappears into a thing of purple smoke. Then we go off. "That was amazing!" says Aloe then they both crowd me and Dr. Hooves. .......................................................... That night at dinner we all sit down. Vynil and Fleur sit next to each other, of course, Aloe and Lotus sit together, and me and Dr. Hooves sit together. "That was out standing!" yells Fleur finally breaking the silence. "Now tomorrow is training and in 2 weeks you will show the ponies your skills!" says Vynil. I finish my food and say "Well Dr. Hooves can throw a giant hour glass over his head!" I say in excitement. They all look at Time Turner in shock. "Well I'm sure there will be no hour glasses in the arena. Hey you know what my mother said! She said District Cloudsdale may actually have a winner! She wasn't talking to me!" I look at him in surprise, wipe my mouth and fly away. Then I slam my door shut and go to sleep.
Chapter 6: Interviews!We all finish our dinner and get ready for the inter views. Time wasn't coming down to the arena with us he would rather go with Aloe. "This is your big day! I think you look fabulous!" says Lotus in her unique voice. "Yeah right." I say. The dress is a cloud crown with little bubbles on them that float up and the dress is a light blue with clouds and more bubbles. I look at my self in the mirror and smile. "Just pretend you are talking to me!" says Lotus. I nod. Flim is on a chair next to the tributes chair. He asks the ponies in the audience if they are ready. They all stomp their hooves and scream. He calls up the first stalion, Blue Bonnet, one of the careers. "So Blue how are you?" asks Flim. He says he is fine and they ask a couple more questions. "Every pony Blue Bonnet!" he yells in an excited voice. Next was Cloud Kicker. "So Cloud are you ready?" asks Flim. "I am very ready." she says as if she were so excited for the Equestrian games she could die. They go through some more ponies. Star then Sunset then Apple Bloom. "So Apple are you good at building? asks Flim A.B. nods. Then its Sweetie Belle. "You like to sing?" he asks. "Yes it is good for calling ponies." she says in her sweet voice. They get through some other ponies. Then they finally get to Scoot. He asks her a couple of questions about her speed and agility. "That was Scootaloo!" he yells, "Now its time for Time Turner! So how are you Time?" he asks. Time says hes fine and then Flim asks him a certain question. "Is there you know any one at home?" he asks. Time shakes his head no, "Oh c'mon tell us is there some pony at home that you know like?" Finally time confesses, "There is one girl but if I did win she would have to die." Flim cocks his head, "She came with me." The crowd gasps and then I faint. ............................................................... When I wake up I'm in the infirmery. "That was quite a fall!" says Nurse Red Heart. I rub my head and think of the interview. I never did the interview. "OK kittens time to go!" says Vynil. I look at Time and think of last night again. When we leae to the tubes Lotus comes with me, not Vynil. I get on a hover craft and they put a tracker in my arm. "Ok derpy *sniff* I guess this is good bye." says Lotus. I start to shake as I am about to get in the tube. I hug Lotus good bye and finally get in the tube. She starts to cry. "Please no." I say. She can't hear me. Then I breath on the tube and write Please don't cry! she waves good bye and then I go up. I look down at my jack and open it up. In side is my little pin that Flutters gave me. The pheonix.
Chapter 8: FateI quickly take out a rope and knife out of my back pack and I get ready to throw the knife. Then I see it was just a baby bunny looking for his mother. I smile at it and let it go. When it's time to go I secure the rope on to the tree branch, drop it to the floor, and wait for the fillies to be safe at the bottom. I then take the rope in my mouth and bring it down to the bottom, while flying. "Where are we going Derpy?" asks Sweetie Belle in a hushed tone. I move and bush and point to the river. They all nod when we hear a giggle. Knife still in wing I am ready to throw. I hear the laughing again. I move the girls behind me and throw the knife. It hits a girl from 10. It hits her in the eye. She falls to the ground dead. I didn't see it, but she threw a knife. it shot right through my wing. "AHH!" I scream and the girls look at me. They help me up. I am OK! I am OK! My wing is bleeding bad and the blood drips down to the ground oozing out of the whole where it shot me. I hear a familiar voice. "DERPY! DERPY!" yells the man I had to come here with. I have a crush on and he has a crush on me! I take the girls and put them behind so they don't get killed. Then I hear more hoof steps. "The careers!" I whisper. The girls the take my rope ad throw it up a tree. I half climb up the rope and half fly up the tree.we quickly pull it up before one of the ponies could grab it. Luckily Stars and Clouds wings were broken. None of them could fly up. "Nice job lover!" Says Star. They shoot a couple of arrows at us. "You'll never get us." They all decide to wait me out, wait us out. We all look down on them. Sweetie Belle taps my shoulder and shows me something on the branch next to us. It was a nest of poisonous fruit bats. I then take out my knife and then cut the nest down. One bites me. Then 3 more bite Sweetie A.B. and Scoot. The bats fall to the ground and then we jump Sweetie breaks her legs. I pick her up and run. Cloud Kicker was killed from the bats. The rest were just bit once. When Time comes back he screams at me. "RUN! ALL OF YOU! RUN RUN!!" he yells at the top of the lungs. We all start running. We finally get back to the river. "Sweetie we should soak your leg in the river." She dips her leg in the water and it burns. "Ok sorry but you need to get that bat tooth out of your neck." I say unsure. She starts to freak out. I quickly try to pull it out but she flinches and I poke her eye. "Please calm down." I quickly pull the tooth out and blood starts trickling down her neck. "Uh oh!" I say. Sweetie then pushes my wing away and starts to cry. "I feel, uh, dizzy." She then passes out. We think she passed out. "Sweetie?" asks Scoot. She starts shaking her, "SWEETIE!" She doesn't wake up. I put my wing on her should and a tear runs down my cheek. She knows shes gone. We have a moment of silence for Sweetie and then we bury her in flowers where she died. We stay silent for hours and then we hear some one.
Chapter 9: New AllianceI look behind the bush that moved. He came back. I can't believe my eyes. I tell every one to come by and let me count them up. I count 1, 2, 3, and me! I bring them all into a cave and we hear some thing. Speakers. "Hello every pony and I hope you are liking the 74th annual Equestrian games!" Yeah right! I think as he goes on. "This is our one and only announcement! Listen closely. There may be only two victors. They can be from different districts or the same one! There are 8 ponies left. Enjoy the rest of the horror, er I mean fun!" he finishes the announcement with a menacing laugh. "Only two are aloud to win. Ah volunteer to go first." says Apple Bloom. I freeze at the sound of it. "Apple Bloom what are you talking about!" says Scoot. "I'm just saying the rest of you should go home..." she whispers the rest of the sentence in her ear and Scoot starts to cry. I know what she said. She wanted the two Love Birds to leave together. I can't believe I volunteered for Dinky. She knows the wild and resources. She would have new friends,but she would have to watch them die.Or I would have to watch HER die on television. I'm not trying to sound mean, but it's the truth. No one noticed, but Apple Bloom left about 2 minuets ago. "Apple Bloom!?" asks Scootaloo. "She's right the... Apple Bloom!?" i yell. We all go outside and start to look for her "Ok we all split up. You 2 take the sky. I will take the ground." we all split up. I take the skies and start looking. "APPLE BLOOM!" I yell. "DERPY!!" I hear a filly yell. I start lying fast towards the voice. She yells it again and again. I see Apple Bloom and her leg is trapped in a foot trap for animals. I am about to go help her when a knife enters her body.
Chapter 10: The BagI grab her and pull the hair out of her eyes. "Shh! Shh! Stars and moons and air balloons. Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again. Teddy bears of Pink. Ducks and lambs of white. Don't you cry dear I'm here now I'll be you nightlight." We both start crying as I sing "Stars and moons and air balloons. Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I kiss her on the head and leave her to be picked up by the hovercraft. "I love you my little muffin." I say to the camera I can see to a tree. I then take my wing put it under my stomach and bow down. I start to cry and I fly back home. I find Time and Scoot in the cave when I get back. "Did you find her!?" asks scoot. I close my eyes and shrivel my nose up. She frowns slowly and runs outside. About an hour later I come out side and sit next to Scoot. I hum my song. "Stars and *sniff* moons and air balloons. *sniff* Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again." she falls asleep on my lap and I bring her back in. "Hello we have a feast in the middle. It is something you will he, really need. "Medicine!" I say as I look at Times cut that I made. He grabs my hoof and pulls me down. "I don't need it." I look at him like he's crazy. "Fine! Fine I won't go." We hear a binging noise outside and fly up into the tree where it is and grab it. Yes " found some sweet mushed berries. They only have them in district 2." I feed it to him. "This is good!" he says and then he sees the note Vynil sent me from our sponsor. "No! You... aren't.... go..." "Night night Time!" I say, "Stay her Scoot." She nods and solutes. I go to the cornicopia and see 5 bags. One of them has a cloud on it. I see Apple Leaves run by and grab her bag. Ok now! I start running when some one jumps on me. We roll across the ground. It's Sunset. "You need that bag? Oh well for who? We killed your friend. What was her name? Apple Bloom? Well now shes gone! And you are ne..." A big red Stallion grabs her and hits her against the chrystal cornicopia. "What did you say? You said Apple Bloom!" he yells. "No no I didn't!" "Yes you did!" she starts screaming Star and he bangs her head against the hard wall. She dies with blood dripping from her head. I find out she cut my forehead. "Only this time 5. For Bloom!" he says. Then I notice he grabbed Stars bag. I smile and then I grabbed my bag. I bring it back home, but Time is up. I give him the bag. "What happened to your head?" I tell him what happened. I give him the medicine in the bag. "It's for your cut. here you go." he starts to put it on my head. I then reach in and give him a kiss. He kisses me back. "Uh yeah I'll just leave." says scoot as we blush.
Chapter 11: EndThe next morning we all wake up and I look at Times stomach. The cut is completely gone! "Time! Time wake up! Your cut is completely gone!" I say. He wakes up and looks at my cut. "Yours is too!" he yells. We both start laughing and rubbing our wounds. I wake up Scoot and tell her that we have to move on. "Ok were are we going?" She says. "We are going to the cornicopia!" I say and she nods. We all pack our stuff and go. "Hey what time is it?" asks Time "It should be about 12:00!"I say because it is dark. "Probably trying to finish this." We all start walking a little more when we hear a scream then we see Big Mac in the sky. Then we hear a crack in the bushes. I take out my knife. It's Apple Leaves and Star right next to each other. They start to run. They are running from something not from us. Then all of a sudden we hear a roar. It shakes the whole ground. I Turn around and grab Scoot. Time gets behind me, and I am about to throw my knife. Before I can a huge Manticore jumps out and roars again. We start to run and then 3 more come alive. "C'mon scoot! Stay on my back!" I say when she starts falling off. I jump and she gets back on. We are almost to the cornicopia when Apple Leaves trampling us. Instead she trips and she is eaten from one of the Manticores. Scoot screams into my ear and I run faster. There are now 10 Manticores and the are all coming after us. We finally get to the cornicopia. Time and I fly up while Scootaloo has to jump up. "C'mon scoot you can make it!" all of a sudden Star takes Scoots hoof and takes her off of the cornicopia. Then she almost falls. "Ok I will put the filly down if you guys let me kill you!" I cross my legs and stare at him. "Why would we do that?" I ask. He them almost drops her and then he picks her back up. She is crying. "Put the kid down." says Time spear I hoof. Star puts her down on the cornicopia. I throw a knife at him before Time could throw his spear. The knife hits him right in the eye and he falls back. He hits scoot and she falls with him. She whispers something. "I love you." she said. I look down on the Manticore now carrying a dead filly with blood dripping down from her head. The sun then comes up and then we hear a microphone. "Welcome to the second finale of the Equestrian Games! There is a slight rule change. The last rule change has been revoked. You two must fight to the death!" Time and I just stared at each other. "They don't need a winner! Eat these on three." I say with blue berries in my hand. "What are they?" "Night lock." he stares at me at the name of the berries. "One." I say. "Two." he says while pushing back my hair. "Wait! Stop! Every pony this years winner of the Equestrian Games!" He looks at me and he picks me up and swings me around. A hover craft picks us up and brings us back to the Capitol. We have an inter view. "Derpy how did you feel when you found Time in the bushes?" "I felt like the luckiest pony ever." I say.The audience awes and then it's time for us to leave. When we get home i see Dinky Doo waving at me on Flutters back. I see she is using magic to hold a sign that says, "Welcome home Mommy Muffin!" I start to cry when Might Mare Moon gives us the crown. I get back to our cottage, and start to pack. "Dinky I have to tell you something." she looks at me, "I'm pregnant." She stares at me and then hugs me. I kiss her on the head and then we go to bed. The end!
Chapter 2: The RoomI look at Dinky and I see her crying. Well why shouldnt she be crying! I just left my daughter just to die some where and then a plane will just pick me up to let me rot! I want to kill my self. I mean was it really... worth it? I sit in a small room to wait for visitors. Finally some pony opens the door. "Hello?" I ask anxiously. Then Dinky runs in and squeezes me tight. "Mommy! Please don't take away my mommy!" "Shh shh!" I say. "Stars and moons and air balloons. Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again. Teddy bears of Pink. Ducks and lambs of white. Don't you cry dear I'm here now I'll be you nightlight. Stars and moons and air balloons. Fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows Smiles to cure the frowns. Twirling and tumbling in laughter. Someday life will always be happily ever after." she smiles. I kiss her on the head. "TIMES UP!" yells a peace keeper and he tugs Dinky away. I hum to my self when my friend Flutter Shy comes in. She hugs me tight. "Oh Ditzy why did this have to happen to you!?" she screams quietly. I hug her back and just close my eyes. She gives me something. A ring with a Phoenix in the middle it is my little pin.
Chapter 5: TrainingWe wake up next morning go in an elevator and get to training. When we get there me and Time go to different stations he goes to knotting station and i go to the knives. I take one knife and hit a dummy strait in the heart with it! When I realize what I just did I do it to another Dummy. Hit it strait on the target. I get to show off alittle, but then it's time for a new station. I go to many stations but i'm not good at any of them. "This is hard!" I say to Time. "Yeah it is! Uhh I think you have some shadows." he says. I turn aroun to see a unicorn a pegasaus and an earth pony behind a wall. They all disapear when a take a step towards them. Then the unicorn filly trots up to me and looks at me wide eyed. "Will you mmph?" she asks. "I'm sorry?" I ask as she stares up at me. She mummbles it again, but I still can't hear her. "OH FOR PETE SAKE! Will you allie with the three of us!?" asks a little orange pegasaus filly, with purpleish pinkish hair, and purple eyes. I look at all three of them. The one that mummbled was white with a purple and pink mane, a horn, and green eyes. The one that never talked at all had red hair, yellow fur, and golden eyes. I nod and they all high five. "My names Scootaloo and theese are Apple Bloom, and Sweetie belle." says the orange one. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle wave. "I know your guyses nick names already then! A.B S.B and Scoot!" I say with a big smile. .......................................................... Three weeks later I find out that Apple bloom is from district 3, Scoot is from district 11, and Sweetie Belle is from district 4. We all go in one by one Scoot does amazing speed. Sweetie Belle does singing as in calling for ponies. A.B. does construction as in building housees. Finally its my turn. I show them my throwing skills. I hit about five dummies and then throw a knife at them showing that I hate them. "Thanks for choosing me!" I say with a smile. They stare at me as I leave the room. "Why would you do that!" screams Fleur. "I remembered that I hated them and that those knives just might kill some pony!" I yell. Vynil is happy about me and she sits next to me. We all have dinner. "Ok so tomorrow I will take you to the arena." syas Vynil. I shiver to the thought of the cold dark arena. Then I remember it's for Dinky. Vynil looks at me and sees that I start to cry. "After dinner are some quick interviews!" says Fleur, "Be ready!"
Chapter 7: The Games BeginEvery moment you have to turn to check your back. When you find its nothing you shrug. Then you remember Losing means certain death. Winning means fame and fortune The Equestrian Games have begun. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ When I see the pin I feel hope. I think about my little muffin watching this at home with Flutters. I am scared to death. Then I see A.B. Scoot and S.B. They wave at me and blush, and then right next to Scoot I see Time. He is shaking and I can see it across the cornicopia. I find my self standing ready to run. I look up at the sun and all most blind my self and then see my surroundings. A big forest. 46 45 44 43 42 41 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 goes the clock. All we hear are big booms 4 3 2 1 BONG. Every pony running around every where knives bows and then I see throwing knives. Instead I go for the bag. Some one throws a knife at a man in front of me and then I see her. I run and then run into Apple Leaves. We both go in opposite directions I keep running and running and running. then I fall. The knife cuts my back a little. I can just imagine the cornicopia. Boom 1 BOOM 2 BOOM 3 BOOM 4. I stop counting and just listen to them. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! Eleven ponies dead in the cornicopia ready to be picked up and start to rot. I just hope A.B. S.B. and Scoot. I finally fly up to a tree to find three little fillies screaming. "Girls!" I yell. "SHHHHH!" they all say.I cover my mouth remembering that I might kill every pony by yelling. I look at them all and then hug them. Then we hear a rustling in the bushes.
