Many years ago, before Granny Smith was called 'Granny' and before Sweet Apple Acres had quite so many acres to its name, the very few citizens of that tiny frontier town called Ponyville knew the Everfree Forest only for what exited it.

Those who chose to settle in Ponyville knew the risks in living so near to the wood. But when a pack of deaf timber wolves threatens to attack the town, it's up to four ponies to find a way to chase them off—or to find a new home.
