Twilight sees herself doing something she can not comprehend. Fortunately, she finds a book that lets her fool around with Time-travel just that morning. Thus the universe is doomed for entirely ludicrous reasons.
Time-travel is a bit of a sore subject for Twilight Sparkle. Hence, when the compiled secrets and techniques to do just that drop themselves into her lap, she is not particularly happy. Then she sees herself kissing Rarity, and that's the end of the world...
Unless she can save it from herself. Which she can't, really.
