Somewhere deep inside the Canterlot dungeon has been kept one of the most dangerous secrets Equestria knows. It holds the spirit of winter and summer, No pony knows why. Some say that the spirits are alicorns and some say others say that they are alien. One of those things is right. They are alicorns and even more powerful then Celestia and Luna together, at least that is what they think. They harness the power of the winter, the summer, joy and laughter. The spirit of winter is called Raising Snow, and the spirit of the Summer is called Summer Light. They used to rule the winter and the summer together with the other spirits of the seasons. Falling Leaf; spirit of Autumn, and Blooming Flower; Spirit of spring. After Celestia and Luna came in control of the throne Celestia banished the Spirits of Autumn and Spring. And locked the spirits of winter and summer in the deepest part of the dungeon for all eternity. The reason is still unknown to everypony *** A thousand years have passed since the spirits have been locked away. They are watched 24/7. But today was the day that they will break free from this prison to regain their position as rulers of the seasons. Since they are locked together they have become rather close to each other (In the way of friendship and family). So they will help each other no matter what. They can’t talk to each other physically but their minds can. They talked to each other as they wait for the perfect moment to escape. They have gathered all the strength they could muster over the years of imprisonment and broke out of the Elemental plain into the waking world. The escape didn’t go as quiet as they hoped. Because they blew a large crater in the ground that swept all the guards away leaving them unconscious. “Eh… Snow? You could just make a gap instead of blowing up the whole place.” Summer said while shaking the dust out of her mane. “Nah… what’s the fun in that.” Snow replied. “Well it might be if you didn’t warn Celestia or Luna!” summer yelled. “Relax. We are in the deepest part of the Canterlot dungeons no one could have heard us.” Reassured Snow. “But I must say, you look quiet sexy in your adult body.” He said with a wink as he looked at Summers slim orange body and coat. Her tail and mane were a fierce red and yellow. But what snow was actually looking at was her flank with her unique cutie-mark. A swirling sun with a red heart in the middle. “Urg… we don’t have time to flirt.” Summer groaned playfully. “But you don’t look bad yourself Snow.” She said while overlooking Snows body. He had a ice blue coat with a toned body. His tail and mane were like ice; A bright white with cyan Highlights. His cutie-mark was a blue heart covered with ice filled with snow crystals. Snow gave a light chuckle as they trotted towards a rather large staircase. They both sight as Snow said “Ah, my old enemy. Stairs.” and with that they started to climb the stairs. A mere hour had passed as they made it to the top of the stairs. “Finally… at… the… top…” Snow panted as he placed a hoof on his chest to catch his breath. “We had to take the stairs did we?” he asked. “It is the only way out Snow, you know that. And we have bigger problems right now…” she replied as she points a hoof towards a large group of guards how had gathered while they were talking. “Oh, this is going to be fun.” He said in his demonic voice. Fun fact; snow can for some reason use 2 voices at the time. It is intimidating and downright scary at the same time. Every guard was trembling on their hooves as Snow spoke. They were downright scared as they watched Snows eyes glow an ice blue and ice that was creeping on his body that was forming into an armor. His wings were now partly covered in ice as snow fell of the feathers and coat. “Time to eat…” he said in his demonic voice again which causes to let all the guards faint right there and now, to which Snow burst into laughter. “Hahahaha!! Priceless, the guards have became more pathetic then they already were a 1000 years ago.” Snow said as he was rolling on the floor laughing. “Come on Snow we don’t have time to waste on those guards, let’s get a move on!” Summer said as they rush through the halls of the castle. But what they didn’t know is that the princesses were already expecting them. *** The princesses were sitting on their own thrones when an explosion echoed through the castle. They knew what was going on and were prepared for the attack from the Spirits; Snow and Summer. They were waiting for them together with the Elements of harmony. They waited for a long time to finally face the spirits once again. They knew that after Nightmare Moons escape that the Spirits would follow suit. Everything came down to this day, that they finally escaped to reclaim their title as the spirits of the seasons. “Princess when do you think they will come?” asked Twilight. “Yea! When do I get the chance to kick those spirits flanks!” said Rainbow Dash who was starting to grow impatient. “Simmer down Rainbow, Ah don’ think it’s a good Idea to charge right at them when they enter the room. After tha’ explosion I wouldn’t even want to know how strong they are.” Replied the apple farmer. “I don’t know my faithful student, but I know they will come to reclaim what is rightfully theirs.” Said the Princess, and Right on the cue the door burst open and a flow of cold wind and snow entered the room. Everyone gasped in surprise while Fluttershy hide behind Applejack. After a few second a faint shimmer could be seen in the door opening. It was glowing an ice blue and radiated a intense cold. Rainbow Dash, Twilight and Applejack took on a defensive stance and were ready to attack whatever was standing there. “Oh No! My beautiful mane! Ruined! This. Is. The. Worst. Possible. THING!” screamed Rarity. “Girls, Focus! We need to use the elements of harmony, Quick!” yelled Twilight as she charged her element. Soon everypony was surrounded by the glow of the elements as they fired the Rainbow colored beam. The elements shot towards the faint shimmer in the mist. Once it reached its target the mist grew denser and started to spread around the throne room. The elements were totally drained from their energy as they rested on the floor. “well, we showed that… spirit not to… mess with the Princess.” Said Rainbow while panting. “Oh… that not nice to use the elements on those you haven’t seen in more than a thousand years.” Said the Spirit with a demonic voice that even made the princess shudder in fear. Which Twilight had never seen before. “I can final- *cough* *cough*. God… *cough* doing that just kills your throat.” Said a rather normal male voice. “I warned you… but NO mister freeze-a-lot just wants to make a dramatic entrance. But I must say I am impressed about how long you can hold that voice.” Said a female voice behind the faintly shimmering frame. “Ok I get it… let me just clear this mist, I can’t even see my own hooves right now.” Replied the Male voice again as the mist slowly started to disappear. After the mist was gone they could see two rather large ponies. They also could make out which voice belonged to which pony. The male voice belonged to a large Alicorn Stallion with a ice blue coat and a White mane with cyan Highlights. His body was pretty toned and well trained. The soft female voice belonged to the other Alicorn. She had a slim body with a soft Orange coat. her mane was a fierce red and yellow that flows like fire. “Ah, that is way better. Now where were we?” asked the stallion. The elements and the princesses (who stopped shaking) looked at the two alicorns with utter disbelieve. When Twilight broke the awkward silence. “Eh… excuse me, but who are you?” she asked. “Hmm?” replied the stallion. “Oh, so you all are the Elements of harmony. Honesty, loyalty, kindness, generosity, laughter and last but not least magic; the most powerful of all. Am I correct?” “And for who I am? You should have heard about me and the others from your beloved princess, who locked us up for a thousand years and banished the two others out this dimension.” The stallion stated. “I am Raising Snow, Spirit and rightful ruler of the winter and this is Summer Light, Spirit and ruler of the summer. We are here to reclaim what is rightfully ours.” Snow stated with a blank expression on his face. He slowly walks towards the thrones where the elements and the princesses were standing. They could see ice forming on his coat and his eyes started to glow a ice blue as they started to shudder in fear. He was now in front of the Elements who were shaking he leaned in to their faces so they could feel the cold he was radiating. “Boo.” He said as they all fainted right on the spot which resulted in hysterical laughter. “Oh you should see their faces, amazing what a bit of magic can do!” snow said as he wiped a single tear out of his eyes. “Yea Snow, I can see it. I was standing right behind you.” Said Summer from behind. “Oke, where were we? Oh yea, Celly and Lulu. It’s great to see you both again after a thousand years, how are you all?” Snow asked as he moved closer to Celestia’s face. He was slightly taller than her. “No-one calls me Celly accept for Luna.” Celestia replied with venom in her voice. “Oh, cold as always I see. Now then let’s get right down to business.” Snow said. Meanwhile Summer had walked towards the princess of the night, who she pulled into a tight hug. Letting a few tears run down her face. “Oh Lulu, I missed you so much. I can’t believe it has been more than a thousand years and look at you, such a lovely mane.” She said as she continued to hug Luna. “I missed you to Summer,” Luna said as she returned the hug. “I don’t know why Celly had to lock you up but I am glad that you are back. I was so lonely when she did it.” “Snow…” said Luna while she released Summer. She walked towards the spirit of winter who turned around in surprise. “Hmm? What is it Lulu?” he replied. Luna was about to wrap Snow in a tight hug like she did with Summer but before she could reach him he was shot with magic. Luna quickly turned around to see Celestia’s horn glowing, while she was holding an angry expression which quickly changed to one of shock and regret. “SNOW!!” yelled Summer as she ran towards the now heavy breathing spirit. “Why did you do that Celestia!” Summer said with tears in her eyes as she was holding Snow in her hooves who was still breathing heavy. “I-I don’t know, when I saw Luna like this I just reacted.” Celestia said as she did a step towards Snow and Summer. “stay the buck away from him!” Summer yelled. “I never knew the reason why you locked us up, why you banished Falling Leaf and Blooming Flower. But I forgave you because you didn’t cause any harm to any of us. But now you have crossed a line Celestia, one you should never cross.” “Snow is like a brother to me, the only family I ever had.” She began to sob again into Snow’s mane who lost conscious not so long ago. Celestia did a few steps closer to the pair of alicorns on the floor. “I am s-so sorry, it was an accident. I didn’t mean for this to happen.” Celestia said as she walked little by little closer. She was now close enough to see that Snow had a large scourge mark on his chest. “I told you, STAY AWAY!!” Summer yelled once again, but she is now radiating heat like the sun itself so Celestia had to back away. Seconds later Flames started to surround the two and it was getting hotter and hotter with every second. After Minutes of swirling flames they disappeared in a flash of light. The room was now empty accept for the Princesses and the Elements who recently woke up. The only thing that was left was a large scourge mark on the floor. Celestia looked at Luna who was giving her a disappointed look. Then the facts hit her like a brick in the head. “W-what have I done…” she said to herself when she disappeared in a flash back into her chambers. Reunion[reunite] After Summer teleported herself and Snow out of the palace, they landed on a clearing inside the Everfree Forest close to the ruins of the two sister. Which was the only place where they could hide from Celestias eyes. She looked into the sky and said while a few tears were rolling down her cheeks; “Leaf, Flower. We need you...”. and with that she slowly laid down next to Snow who was still unconscious from the attack and cuddled close to him as she fell asleep. Unaware of Two stars blinking into existence. [Planet: Earth, continent: Europe, country: The Netherlands, City: Boskoop. 05:30 in the morning.] It was an early morning, a man and a slightly younger girl laid in a room together. The man was the first to wake up after a restless night, filled with nightmares and strange visions. “Damn that was strange.” He said to himself aware of the sleeping girl next to him. “I could swear I hear someone calling me, it must be my imagination.” He thought to himself as he slowly made his way to the kitchen for a fresh cup of coffee. While the machine was doing its job he walked to the front door and picked up the news paper. “Another murder, this world gets worse with the day.” He said to himself as he made his way back to the kitchen where to his surprise the girl was drinking HIS coffee. He lets out a groan of annoyance as he greeted her. “Morning Sunshine, I see you found MY coffee?” “Morning, yea I am drinking your coffee but I couldn’t really sleep.” She replied. “You too? What was your dream about?” he asked in curiosity. “Mhm... let me think for a moment.” She replied as she tips her chin with her finger. “It was about a strange scene in a forest, I heard crying and a voice that said “Leaf, Flower, we need you...” then everything started to fade. Strange isn’t it?”. “Did you see who was crying? Because I had the same strange dream, but I only could see two strange figures. One was Orange and the other was a bright white. But I couldn't hear anything.” He said while taking a sip from his coffee. After ten minutes of silence and five slices of bread later the man, known as James, went outside off to work. While the girl, known as Scarlet, stayed at home to do some chores. Like cleaning the toilet and living room. James had a rather simple job at some greenhouse where they make all kinds of plants. He always has some attraction to plants because of their colors. He really likes Autumn. The refreshing wind and the brown golden colors of the trees. They radiate beauty and grace, something he clearly lacked. But he was a hard worker, and that was much appreciated. He even got his own business started in the outskirts of the Town. “Hey, James. You got new personal at the front door, shall I let them in?” asked a young man name Ruben as he was standing in a the door way looking at the tired James. “Mhm? Oh, yes Ruben of course you can let them in.” He replied with a yawn. “Rough Night?” Ruben asked again. “You could say that, and it seems it’s going to be a busy day today.” “Aye. Well I will be putting the new hands to work. Will you be okay?” “I will be fine in a few minutes, let them start with removing the weeds at Corner 7, once they are done they can go to corner 6 etz. Till they are at the front of the garden.” Instructed James to which Ruben gave a small mocking salute. It was around 10 o’clock and it was time for a small break. James called Ruben and the new hands for Coffee which they accepted. During the break they had a small conversation about the current state of the company and about some privet subjects. “hey James, how is Scarlet doing lately?” asked Ruben. “Eh... she is doing just fine, but things are a little tense at the moment.” He replied. “How come?” “Well, we have been getting strange dreams lately. Mine are without sound while the once Scarlet has are the complete opposite.” Ruben didn’t respond because he was clearly interested in the dreams. “It’s most of the time some sort of scene in a dense forest. And sometimes even a castle of sorts. All I could see last night were two figures, one was a fierce orange while the other was a bright white.” James let out a deep sigh as he told the story Scarlet told him this morning. “Scarlet’s dream was completely different from mine, she was also in a dense forest but all she could hear was sobbing, and not so long later a voice that said; “Leaf, Flower. We need you...”. and that is where her dream stops.” Its took Ruben a few minutes to let it all sink in before saying something that shocked James. “I knew this day would come sooner than expected.” Ruben took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “James, could you come here for a second?” he said as he pointed outside the room. James followed Ruben, or whoever he is, outside when he suddenly heard Ruben snipping his fingers and a flash of light filled the space around them. James even had to shield his eyes for the light. Once it faded, he noticed that Scarlet was standing next to him. “Welcome in space!” announced Ruben. “W-what!!” they yelled in unison. “How is that even possible!” “Magic of course, how ells?” Ruben stated as James raised an eyebrow. “Oh, yes of course. No memory...” “What the hell is going on Ruben!” yelled James while Scarlet was trembling in fear. “Ruben was just a cover to keep an eye on both of you.” He snips his finger again and disappeared into a cloud of smoke. Once the cloud was gone they could see a young pony with a horn and wings with a black coat and a long White mane. With on his flank a mark in the form of a large shield with wings behind it “My name is Argent Dawn, one of the Protectors of Earth and former member of the council of Celestia. At your serves, Falling leaf and Blooming Flower.” He said with a grin glued on his face. “What is going on!” James yelled at Dawn. “Who are Falling Leaf and Blooming Flower?!” “You two of course,” yelled Dawn back at James and Scarlet still holding a smug grin on his face. “You James are Falling Leaf and you Scarlet, are Blooming Flower. The spirits of the seasons autumn and spring. You may guess who is who.” Dawn cheered. “This is madness!” yelled James as he tried to hit Dawn in the face. “Ohhh, a little angry are we? Let me fix that. Then it’s time that I explain some things to you to clear it up a little.” Dawns horn began to glow white as light strings surrounded James and Scarlet. Once the strings were gone the only thing that was left of the two humans were two rather large ponies both with wings and a horn. Both James and Scarlet were literally flipping out when the saw each other. James was a rather well muscled alicorn with a light brown coat and a darker brown mane. While scarlet had a slim body with a soft pink coat and a butter coloured mane. The both had a heart mark on their flank only James had a leaf behind it, and Scarlet a purple flower. They both were trying to find balance as they were walking on four legs. They only didn’t notice that Dawn was slowly making his way towards the wobbling ponies. He cleared his throat to get their attention. “As I was saying I am going to explain everything it a-. WILL YOU BOTH SHUT UP!” Yelled Dawn as James and Scarlet were both still freaking out. After a moment they both fell silent so Dawn could explain everything. “Alright now I got both your attention let me begin my explanation.” Dawn said as he sat down on his haunches. “It all started about 1000 years ago in another universe called Equestria. It was filled with nature and living creatures, always living in harmony under the rule of the Goddesses of the sun and the moon. Named Celestia and Luna. As you may have noticed, Celestia raises the sun and rules the day, while Luna raises the moon and she rules the night and watches over everypony during the night. They were both alicorns such as us three.” Dawn told them everything about Equestria and how Celestia didn't trust the spirits of seasons as they might wanted more power to control the others as well. “That is the reason why Celestia banished you two away from Equestria. I was there when it happened. I was once a member of the Celestial order and was the only one against your banishment.” Dawn hung his head low in sadness. “I could see the fear in both of you as Celestia banished you. I wish I could have done something, so I betrayed the order in order to keep an eye on you, and to keep you both alive.” “But what are those dreams. What do they mean?” asked Scarlet who clearly calmed down. “Those dreams are a sigh, that Snow and Summer have escaped. But something went wrong later on, because it seems that snow was attacked by Celestia during their escape.” Dawn explained as he stood up. He slowly made his way towards James and Scarlet before saying; “It is time that the Spirits of Autumn and spring return to Equestria to help Summer and winter to regain your position as rulers of the seasons.” And with that Dawns horn begins to glow once more as two strings of light made their way towards James and Scarlet before connecting to their heads. “I will return all your memories to you two before I sent you back to Equestria. It’s going to be one hell of a ride but it will be worth it. Once you have landed meet up with Snow and Summer and help Snow with his wound As soon as possible.” After a moment the minds of James and Scarlet went blank before filling with all the memories before their banishment. They both fell on the ground gasping for air as the rush inside their head faded away. Scarlet was the first to wake up. “L-Leaf?” she said shakily as she nuzzled Leaf in the neck. Dawn watched with pride in his eyes as Leaf slowly raised from the ground returning the nuzzle. “Oh, Leaf... I have missed you so much!” she squealed in happiness. “W-what happened, I remember Celestia shooting a spell at us and then everything went white.” He asked but Dawn beat Flower in reacting. “You were banished to earth Leaf, together with Flower. It’s been over a thousand year on Equestria but here on earth time goes slower so it’s been 30 years.” He said with a smile. Leaf quickly turns around to see the black alicorn. “Dawn? Is that you?” he asked. “The one and only, It’s good to have you back.” Dawn replied happily. “But there is no time for hugs. Snow is wounded and I need to sent you back to Equestria.” Before one of the two could react Dawn body began to glow a bright white as red eyes started to glow. “It’s good to see both of you normal again but... this meeting comes to an end and my power starts to drop. I both wish you good luck and please, say to Celestia that I am doing well.” Leaf opens his mouth to say something but was silenced by a white light that shot the two alicorns back to Equestria. “Good luck, Falling Leaf and Blooming Flower. May your journey lead you to your goal.” Were Argent Dawns last words before flying back towards earth. [Equestria, Everfree Forest.] Summer was still lying next to the unconscious Snow as a white light woke her up from her slumber. To her own delight two alicorns appeared in front of her. Tears of joy rolled down her cheeks as she tackles both the ponies, while hugging them tightly. “Oh my god! You have returned! I missed you both so much!” she half yelled as tears wet the coats of the two ponies before they say in unison; “It’s good to be home. And we missed you to Summer, we missed you dearly...” So... what now?[So... what now?] It was early in the morning and the small group of spirits were all huddled together, as soon as Celestias sun began to shine through the tree tops they started to awake from their slumber, accept for Snow who was still unconscious from the attack. Leaf was the first to recover while rubbing his eyes with his hooves to remove the sleep. "God, I haven't slept like that in years." he yawns once before turning around to face the others. smiling slightly at the sight. The evening they arrived at Equestria, Dawn had a small surprise for Celestia. When he sent the two back to Equestria, he had just enough energy left to pay the princess a visit. [Earlier that evening] Celestia was pacing in her room, why had she attacked Snow? She couldn't honestly say. All she wanted to do was protect her sister from those who meant harm. But why was she feeling jealous? Her thoughts were interrupted by a blinding light that filled her room, once the light had faded away she was standing eye in eye with the one who she thought she would never see again. Argent Dawn. "Ah, it's been a while since I have seen your face. How are things around here?" He asked as he move inch by inch closer to her. "What do you want Dawn. I don't have time for this!" She yelled as she tried to teleport out of her room. But was quickly countered by Dawn himself. "No, no. Celestia. it's not nice to teleport while you are having a conversation with one of your subjects." He mocked. "But I must say, you look more stunning then a thousand years ago." "Stop this nonsense, Dawn." She snorted in anger. "Why are you here." "I am merely here to tell you that the four are reunited." He replied with a his trademark grin. "You better prepare, or you might want to give them a chance to prove they aren't power hunger like you thought all those years ago." "Maybe you are right Dawn, Maybe I need to give them a chance. BUT, if they fail, I won't even bother to banish them." she replied with a another angry snort as he could spot some smoke coming out of her nose. "Now, be gone with you. You are no longer welcome in Equestria, Argent Dawn." Without a word he turned around and flared his horn to teleport away, not before saying; "Keep in mind that they aren't who you think they are. And also know that whatever you do, I will always be watching." After that he disappeared in a flash of light. [back to present] As leaf was looking at the group, Summer and flower started to stir as they opened their eyes only to close them as they were attacked by the light of Celestias sun. "Urg, why do my eyes want to murder themselves every time I wake up?" said Summer as she rubber her eyes to seize the pain. "I know right, like the sun hates us or something." replied a tired looking Flower also rubbing her eyes with her hoofs to remove the tiredness. Only shortly after to be met with the muzzle of Leaf, locking each other in a kiss. "Aww, aint that sweet." said Summer as she looks at the still snoring Snow next to her, But she still couldn't believe why Celestia would do something like this. All we did was something we did all those Eons, Controlling the seasons so everything would go smoothly. Not a moment later the three spirits were interrupted by a groan coming from Snow who tried to sit up. Summer quickly runs to his side to support him as he sits down. he slowly moves his left hoof over his chest and winches as he accidentally presses to hard on the wound. All Flower and Leaf could do was watching him, wondering what had happened to him. "Summer, what happened to him." asked Leaf as he looks at snows chest. "It was Celestia, after our escape from the Elemental plain we entered the throne room where Celestia and the Elements of Harmony were waiting for us. They attacked us but the elements only banish those with evil within their hearts, so they were useless. After a short moment we were reunited with Luna. I couldn't be more happier then that but then Celestia made the biggest mistake in her life, She shot Snow in the chest with her magic. I could see the anger and fear in her eyes when we were talking to Luna like we were going to eat her or something, but the moment Snow hit the ground something snapped inside of me, after that I just teleported away." After Summer was done all she could do was hug Snow, who accepted the hug without second thought. "Oh god. *cough* what happened, all I remember talking to Luna before something hot hit me." Snow said as he breaks the hug with Summer. He looks up and spots Leaf and Flower. "Oh, hey Leaf, Flower..." then realization hit him "Leaf! Flower! Your back." he practically yelled as he pulled them in a back breaking hug. "When did this happen?" he asks as he continues to hug them. "Well to make a long story short, we were banished to a planet named earth where we lived for like 30 years until Argent Dawn helped up." Leaf explains as he tries to escape the bear hug. "All in all Snow, can you please release us!" Flower yelled. Soon after Snow releases them he chuckles lightly, before once again realization hit him right on the back of his head. "Wait you were helped by Argent Dawn?! Like in THE Argent Dawn?!" he said in excitement while jumping up and down with his wound totally forgotten. "Yes, Snow. THE Argent Dawn. he helped us regain our memories before sending us back here." Flower explains. "We own him our lives." [Ponyville, train station.] While the Spirits tell stories about how things were going during their banishment. The Elements of Harmony returned in Ponyville, Twilight was the first to leave the train. she was still trying to figure out why all this happened. "Girls, Why do I have this feeling that spirit didn't deserve to be attacked. And did you see Luna? In all my years I've never seen her so upset." Twilight said as the group of mares walked through Ponyville. "I know what you mean darling, I also can't get the look Luna gave Celestia out of my head." Rarity replied. "Uh... I hope that stallion is ok..." Fluttershy said in her ever shy tone. "Girls if they weren't dangerous then why were they Banished?" Interrupted Rainbow with her hooves crossed over her chest. "If you ask me we might be better off without those spirits." "Holt it right there Rainbow, what do ya even know about them?" said Applejack as she raises and eyebrow towards the cyan Pegasus. Who stayed silent after. "That's what Ah thought. But Twilight, do ye think there is a book about them?" "I honestly can't say Applejack, but it is worth a shot." Twilight replied. "Let's go everypony! we've got research to do!" After that the group of mares run towards the large tree known as the Golden Oak Library. [Somewhere unknown] "Would you look at that! They are already gaining allies, even if they don't know it themselves." said an unknown shadow as it watches both groups through a mirror. " This is going to be so much fun!"
The breakoutCanterlot Dungeon. Somewhere deep inside the Canterlot dungeon has been kept one of the most dangerous secrets Equestria knows. It holds the spirit of winter and summer, No pony knows why. Some say that the spirits are alicorns and some say others say that they are alien. One of those things is right. They are alicorns and even more powerful then Celestia and Luna together, at least that is what they think. They harness the power of the winter, the summer, joy and laughter. The spirit of winter is called Raising Snow, and the spirit of the Summer is called Summer Light. They used to rule the winter and the summer together with the other spirits of the seasons. Falling Leaf; spirit of Autumn, and Blooming Flower; Spirit of spring. After Celestia and Luna came in control of the throne Celestia banished the Spirits of Autumn and Spring. And locked the spirits of winter and summer in the deepest part of the dungeon for all eternity. The reason is still unknown to everypony *** A thousand years have passed since the spirits have been locked away. They are watched 24/7. But today was the day that they will break free from this prison to regain their position as rulers of the seasons. Since they are locked together they have become rather close to each other (In the way of friendship and family). So they will help each other no matter what. They can’t talk to each other physically but their minds can. They talked to each other as they wait for the perfect moment to escape. They have gathered all the strength they could muster over the years of imprisonment and broke out of the Elemental plain into the waking world. The escape didn’t go as quiet as they hoped. Because they blew a large crater in the ground that swept all the guards away leaving them unconscious. “Eh… Snow? You could just make a gap instead of blowing up the whole place.” Summer said while shaking the dust out of her mane. “Nah… what’s the fun in that.” Snow replied. “Well it might be if you didn’t warn Celestia or Luna!” summer yelled. “Relax. We are in the deepest part of the Canterlot dungeons no one could have heard us.” Reassured Snow. “But I must say, you look quiet sexy in your adult body.” He said with a wink as he looked at Summers slim orange body and coat. Her tail and mane were a fierce red and yellow. But what snow was actually looking at was her flank with her unique cutie-mark. A swirling sun with a red heart in the middle. “Urg… we don’t have time to flirt.” Summer groaned playfully. “But you don’t look bad yourself Snow.” She said while overlooking Snows body. He had a ice blue coat with a toned body. His tail and mane were like ice; A bright white with cyan Highlights. His cutie-mark was a blue heart covered with ice filled with snow crystals. Snow gave a light chuckle as they trotted towards a rather large staircase. They both sight as Snow said “Ah, my old enemy. Stairs.” and with that they started to climb the stairs. A mere hour had passed as they made it to the top of the stairs. “Finally… at… the… top…” Snow panted as he placed a hoof on his chest to catch his breath. “We had to take the stairs did we?” he asked. “It is the only way out Snow, you know that. And we have bigger problems right now…” she replied as she points a hoof towards a large group of guards how had gathered while they were talking. “Oh, this is going to be fun.” He said in his demonic voice. Fun fact; snow can for some reason use 2 voices at the time. It is intimidating and downright scary at the same time. Every guard was trembling on their hooves as Snow spoke. They were downright scared as they watched Snows eyes glow an ice blue and ice that was creeping on his body that was forming into an armor. His wings were now partly covered in ice as snow fell of the feathers and coat. “Time to eat…” he said in his demonic voice again which causes to let all the guards faint right there and now, to which Snow burst into laughter. “Hahahaha!! Priceless, the guards have became more pathetic then they already were a 1000 years ago.” Snow said as he was rolling on the floor laughing. “Come on Snow we don’t have time to waste on those guards, let’s get a move on!” Summer said as they rush through the halls of the castle. But what they didn’t know is that the princesses were already expecting them. *** The princesses were sitting on their own thrones when an explosion echoed through the castle. They knew what was going on and were prepared for the attack from the Spirits; Snow and Summer. They were waiting for them together with the Elements of harmony. They waited for a long time to finally face the spirits once again. They knew that after Nightmare Moons escape that the Spirits would follow suit. Everything came down to this day, that they finally escaped to reclaim their title as the spirits of the seasons. “Princess when do you think they will come?” asked Twilight. “Yea! When do I get the chance to kick those spirits flanks!” said Rainbow Dash who was starting to grow impatient. “Simmer down Rainbow, Ah don’ think it’s a good Idea to charge right at them when they enter the room. After tha’ explosion I wouldn’t even want to know how strong they are.” Replied the apple farmer. “I don’t know my faithful student, but I know they will come to reclaim what is rightfully theirs.” Said the Princess, and Right on the cue the door burst open and a flow of cold wind and snow entered the room. Everyone gasped in surprise while Fluttershy hide behind Applejack. After a few second a faint shimmer could be seen in the door opening. It was glowing an ice blue and radiated a intense cold. Rainbow Dash, Twilight and Applejack took on a defensive stance and were ready to attack whatever was standing there. “Oh No! My beautiful mane! Ruined! This. Is. The. Worst. Possible. THING!” screamed Rarity. “Girls, Focus! We need to use the elements of harmony, Quick!” yelled Twilight as she charged her element. Soon everypony was surrounded by the glow of the elements as they fired the Rainbow colored beam. The elements shot towards the faint shimmer in the mist. Once it reached its target the mist grew denser and started to spread around the throne room. The elements were totally drained from their energy as they rested on the floor. “well, we showed that… spirit not to… mess with the Princess.” Said Rainbow while panting. “Oh… that not nice to use the elements on those you haven’t seen in more than a thousand years.” Said the Spirit with a demonic voice that even made the princess shudder in fear. Which Twilight had never seen before. “I can final- *cough* *cough*. God… *cough* doing that just kills your throat.” Said a rather normal male voice. “I warned you… but NO mister freeze-a-lot just wants to make a dramatic entrance. But I must say I am impressed about how long you can hold that voice.” Said a female voice behind the faintly shimmering frame. “Ok I get it… let me just clear this mist, I can’t even see my own hooves right now.” Replied the Male voice again as the mist slowly started to disappear. After the mist was gone they could see two rather large ponies. They also could make out which voice belonged to which pony. The male voice belonged to a large Alicorn Stallion with a ice blue coat and a White mane with cyan Highlights. His body was pretty toned and well trained. The soft female voice belonged to the other Alicorn. She had a slim body with a soft Orange coat. her mane was a fierce red and yellow that flows like fire. “Ah, that is way better. Now where were we?” asked the stallion. The elements and the princesses (who stopped shaking) looked at the two alicorns with utter disbelieve. When Twilight broke the awkward silence. “Eh… excuse me, but who are you?” she asked. “Hmm?” replied the stallion. “Oh, so you all are the Elements of harmony. Honesty, loyalty, kindness, generosity, laughter and last but not least magic; the most powerful of all. Am I correct?” “And for who I am? You should have heard about me and the others from your beloved princess, who locked us up for a thousand years and banished the two others out this dimension.” The stallion stated. “I am Raising Snow, Spirit and rightful ruler of the winter and this is Summer Light, Spirit and ruler of the summer. We are here to reclaim what is rightfully ours.” Snow stated with a blank expression on his face. He slowly walks towards the thrones where the elements and the princesses were standing. They could see ice forming on his coat and his eyes started to glow a ice blue as they started to shudder in fear. He was now in front of the Elements who were shaking he leaned in to their faces so they could feel the cold he was radiating. “Boo.” He said as they all fainted right on the spot which resulted in hysterical laughter. “Oh you should see their faces, amazing what a bit of magic can do!” snow said as he wiped a single tear out of his eyes. “Yea Snow, I can see it. I was standing right behind you.” Said Summer from behind. “Oke, where were we? Oh yea, Celly and Lulu. It’s great to see you both again after a thousand years, how are you all?” Snow asked as he moved closer to Celestia’s face. He was slightly taller than her. “No-one calls me Celly accept for Luna.” Celestia replied with venom in her voice. “Oh, cold as always I see. Now then let’s get right down to business.” Snow said. Meanwhile Summer had walked towards the princess of the night, who she pulled into a tight hug. Letting a few tears run down her face. “Oh Lulu, I missed you so much. I can’t believe it has been more than a thousand years and look at you, such a lovely mane.” She said as she continued to hug Luna. “I missed you to Summer,” Luna said as she returned the hug. “I don’t know why Celly had to lock you up but I am glad that you are back. I was so lonely when she did it.” “Snow…” said Luna while she released Summer. She walked towards the spirit of winter who turned around in surprise. “Hmm? What is it Lulu?” he replied. Luna was about to wrap Snow in a tight hug like she did with Summer but before she could reach him he was shot with magic. Luna quickly turned around to see Celestia’s horn glowing, while she was holding an angry expression which quickly changed to one of shock and regret. “SNOW!!” yelled Summer as she ran towards the now heavy breathing spirit. “Why did you do that Celestia!” Summer said with tears in her eyes as she was holding Snow in her hooves who was still breathing heavy. “I-I don’t know, when I saw Luna like this I just reacted.” Celestia said as she did a step towards Snow and Summer. “stay the buck away from him!” Summer yelled. “I never knew the reason why you locked us up, why you banished Falling Leaf and Blooming Flower. But I forgave you because you didn’t cause any harm to any of us. But now you have crossed a line Celestia, one you should never cross.” “Snow is like a brother to me, the only family I ever had.” She began to sob again into Snow’s mane who lost conscious not so long ago. Celestia did a few steps closer to the pair of alicorns on the floor. “I am s-so sorry, it was an accident. I didn’t mean for this to happen.” Celestia said as she walked little by little closer. She was now close enough to see that Snow had a large scourge mark on his chest. “I told you, STAY AWAY!!” Summer yelled once again, but she is now radiating heat like the sun itself so Celestia had to back away. Seconds later Flames started to surround the two and it was getting hotter and hotter with every second. After Minutes of swirling flames they disappeared in a flash of light. The room was now empty accept for the Princesses and the Elements who recently woke up. The only thing that was left was a large scourge mark on the floor. Celestia looked at Luna who was giving her a disappointed look. Then the facts hit her like a brick in the head. “W-what have I done…” she said to herself when she disappeared in a flash back into her chambers.
Reunion[reunite] After Summer teleported herself and Snow out of the palace, they landed on a clearing inside the Everfree Forest close to the ruins of the two sister. Which was the only place where they could hide from Celestias eyes. She looked into the sky and said while a few tears were rolling down her cheeks; “Leaf, Flower. We need you...”. and with that she slowly laid down next to Snow who was still unconscious from the attack and cuddled close to him as she fell asleep. Unaware of Two stars blinking into existence. [Planet: Earth, continent: Europe, country: The Netherlands, City: Boskoop. 05:30 in the morning.] It was an early morning, a man and a slightly younger girl laid in a room together. The man was the first to wake up after a restless night, filled with nightmares and strange visions. “Damn that was strange.” He said to himself aware of the sleeping girl next to him. “I could swear I hear someone calling me, it must be my imagination.” He thought to himself as he slowly made his way to the kitchen for a fresh cup of coffee. While the machine was doing its job he walked to the front door and picked up the news paper. “Another murder, this world gets worse with the day.” He said to himself as he made his way back to the kitchen where to his surprise the girl was drinking HIS coffee. He lets out a groan of annoyance as he greeted her. “Morning Sunshine, I see you found MY coffee?” “Morning, yea I am drinking your coffee but I couldn’t really sleep.” She replied. “You too? What was your dream about?” he asked in curiosity. “Mhm... let me think for a moment.” She replied as she tips her chin with her finger. “It was about a strange scene in a forest, I heard crying and a voice that said “Leaf, Flower, we need you...” then everything started to fade. Strange isn’t it?”. “Did you see who was crying? Because I had the same strange dream, but I only could see two strange figures. One was Orange and the other was a bright white. But I couldn't hear anything.” He said while taking a sip from his coffee. After ten minutes of silence and five slices of bread later the man, known as James, went outside off to work. While the girl, known as Scarlet, stayed at home to do some chores. Like cleaning the toilet and living room. James had a rather simple job at some greenhouse where they make all kinds of plants. He always has some attraction to plants because of their colors. He really likes Autumn. The refreshing wind and the brown golden colors of the trees. They radiate beauty and grace, something he clearly lacked. But he was a hard worker, and that was much appreciated. He even got his own business started in the outskirts of the Town. “Hey, James. You got new personal at the front door, shall I let them in?” asked a young man name Ruben as he was standing in a the door way looking at the tired James. “Mhm? Oh, yes Ruben of course you can let them in.” He replied with a yawn. “Rough Night?” Ruben asked again. “You could say that, and it seems it’s going to be a busy day today.” “Aye. Well I will be putting the new hands to work. Will you be okay?” “I will be fine in a few minutes, let them start with removing the weeds at Corner 7, once they are done they can go to corner 6 etz. Till they are at the front of the garden.” Instructed James to which Ruben gave a small mocking salute. It was around 10 o’clock and it was time for a small break. James called Ruben and the new hands for Coffee which they accepted. During the break they had a small conversation about the current state of the company and about some privet subjects. “hey James, how is Scarlet doing lately?” asked Ruben. “Eh... she is doing just fine, but things are a little tense at the moment.” He replied. “How come?” “Well, we have been getting strange dreams lately. Mine are without sound while the once Scarlet has are the complete opposite.” Ruben didn’t respond because he was clearly interested in the dreams. “It’s most of the time some sort of scene in a dense forest. And sometimes even a castle of sorts. All I could see last night were two figures, one was a fierce orange while the other was a bright white.” James let out a deep sigh as he told the story Scarlet told him this morning. “Scarlet’s dream was completely different from mine, she was also in a dense forest but all she could hear was sobbing, and not so long later a voice that said; “Leaf, Flower. We need you...”. and that is where her dream stops.” Its took Ruben a few minutes to let it all sink in before saying something that shocked James. “I knew this day would come sooner than expected.” Ruben took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “James, could you come here for a second?” he said as he pointed outside the room. James followed Ruben, or whoever he is, outside when he suddenly heard Ruben snipping his fingers and a flash of light filled the space around them. James even had to shield his eyes for the light. Once it faded, he noticed that Scarlet was standing next to him. “Welcome in space!” announced Ruben. “W-what!!” they yelled in unison. “How is that even possible!” “Magic of course, how ells?” Ruben stated as James raised an eyebrow. “Oh, yes of course. No memory...” “What the hell is going on Ruben!” yelled James while Scarlet was trembling in fear. “Ruben was just a cover to keep an eye on both of you.” He snips his finger again and disappeared into a cloud of smoke. Once the cloud was gone they could see a young pony with a horn and wings with a black coat and a long White mane. With on his flank a mark in the form of a large shield with wings behind it “My name is Argent Dawn, one of the Protectors of Earth and former member of the council of Celestia. At your serves, Falling leaf and Blooming Flower.” He said with a grin glued on his face. “What is going on!” James yelled at Dawn. “Who are Falling Leaf and Blooming Flower?!” “You two of course,” yelled Dawn back at James and Scarlet still holding a smug grin on his face. “You James are Falling Leaf and you Scarlet, are Blooming Flower. The spirits of the seasons autumn and spring. You may guess who is who.” Dawn cheered. “This is madness!” yelled James as he tried to hit Dawn in the face. “Ohhh, a little angry are we? Let me fix that. Then it’s time that I explain some things to you to clear it up a little.” Dawns horn began to glow white as light strings surrounded James and Scarlet. Once the strings were gone the only thing that was left of the two humans were two rather large ponies both with wings and a horn. Both James and Scarlet were literally flipping out when the saw each other. James was a rather well muscled alicorn with a light brown coat and a darker brown mane. While scarlet had a slim body with a soft pink coat and a butter coloured mane. The both had a heart mark on their flank only James had a leaf behind it, and Scarlet a purple flower. They both were trying to find balance as they were walking on four legs. They only didn’t notice that Dawn was slowly making his way towards the wobbling ponies. He cleared his throat to get their attention. “As I was saying I am going to explain everything it a-. WILL YOU BOTH SHUT UP!” Yelled Dawn as James and Scarlet were both still freaking out. After a moment they both fell silent so Dawn could explain everything. “Alright now I got both your attention let me begin my explanation.” Dawn said as he sat down on his haunches. “It all started about 1000 years ago in another universe called Equestria. It was filled with nature and living creatures, always living in harmony under the rule of the Goddesses of the sun and the moon. Named Celestia and Luna. As you may have noticed, Celestia raises the sun and rules the day, while Luna raises the moon and she rules the night and watches over everypony during the night. They were both alicorns such as us three.” Dawn told them everything about Equestria and how Celestia didn't trust the spirits of seasons as they might wanted more power to control the others as well. “That is the reason why Celestia banished you two away from Equestria. I was there when it happened. I was once a member of the Celestial order and was the only one against your banishment.” Dawn hung his head low in sadness. “I could see the fear in both of you as Celestia banished you. I wish I could have done something, so I betrayed the order in order to keep an eye on you, and to keep you both alive.” “But what are those dreams. What do they mean?” asked Scarlet who clearly calmed down. “Those dreams are a sigh, that Snow and Summer have escaped. But something went wrong later on, because it seems that snow was attacked by Celestia during their escape.” Dawn explained as he stood up. He slowly made his way towards James and Scarlet before saying; “It is time that the Spirits of Autumn and spring return to Equestria to help Summer and winter to regain your position as rulers of the seasons.” And with that Dawns horn begins to glow once more as two strings of light made their way towards James and Scarlet before connecting to their heads. “I will return all your memories to you two before I sent you back to Equestria. It’s going to be one hell of a ride but it will be worth it. Once you have landed meet up with Snow and Summer and help Snow with his wound As soon as possible.” After a moment the minds of James and Scarlet went blank before filling with all the memories before their banishment. They both fell on the ground gasping for air as the rush inside their head faded away. Scarlet was the first to wake up. “L-Leaf?” she said shakily as she nuzzled Leaf in the neck. Dawn watched with pride in his eyes as Leaf slowly raised from the ground returning the nuzzle. “Oh, Leaf... I have missed you so much!” she squealed in happiness. “W-what happened, I remember Celestia shooting a spell at us and then everything went white.” He asked but Dawn beat Flower in reacting. “You were banished to earth Leaf, together with Flower. It’s been over a thousand year on Equestria but here on earth time goes slower so it’s been 30 years.” He said with a smile. Leaf quickly turns around to see the black alicorn. “Dawn? Is that you?” he asked. “The one and only, It’s good to have you back.” Dawn replied happily. “But there is no time for hugs. Snow is wounded and I need to sent you back to Equestria.” Before one of the two could react Dawn body began to glow a bright white as red eyes started to glow. “It’s good to see both of you normal again but... this meeting comes to an end and my power starts to drop. I both wish you good luck and please, say to Celestia that I am doing well.” Leaf opens his mouth to say something but was silenced by a white light that shot the two alicorns back to Equestria. “Good luck, Falling Leaf and Blooming Flower. May your journey lead you to your goal.” Were Argent Dawns last words before flying back towards earth. [Equestria, Everfree Forest.] Summer was still lying next to the unconscious Snow as a white light woke her up from her slumber. To her own delight two alicorns appeared in front of her. Tears of joy rolled down her cheeks as she tackles both the ponies, while hugging them tightly. “Oh my god! You have returned! I missed you both so much!” she half yelled as tears wet the coats of the two ponies before they say in unison; “It’s good to be home. And we missed you to Summer, we missed you dearly...”
So... what now?[So... what now?] It was early in the morning and the small group of spirits were all huddled together, as soon as Celestias sun began to shine through the tree tops they started to awake from their slumber, accept for Snow who was still unconscious from the attack. Leaf was the first to recover while rubbing his eyes with his hooves to remove the sleep. "God, I haven't slept like that in years." he yawns once before turning around to face the others. smiling slightly at the sight. The evening they arrived at Equestria, Dawn had a small surprise for Celestia. When he sent the two back to Equestria, he had just enough energy left to pay the princess a visit. [Earlier that evening] Celestia was pacing in her room, why had she attacked Snow? She couldn't honestly say. All she wanted to do was protect her sister from those who meant harm. But why was she feeling jealous? Her thoughts were interrupted by a blinding light that filled her room, once the light had faded away she was standing eye in eye with the one who she thought she would never see again. Argent Dawn. "Ah, it's been a while since I have seen your face. How are things around here?" He asked as he move inch by inch closer to her. "What do you want Dawn. I don't have time for this!" She yelled as she tried to teleport out of her room. But was quickly countered by Dawn himself. "No, no. Celestia. it's not nice to teleport while you are having a conversation with one of your subjects." He mocked. "But I must say, you look more stunning then a thousand years ago." "Stop this nonsense, Dawn." She snorted in anger. "Why are you here." "I am merely here to tell you that the four are reunited." He replied with a his trademark grin. "You better prepare, or you might want to give them a chance to prove they aren't power hunger like you thought all those years ago." "Maybe you are right Dawn, Maybe I need to give them a chance. BUT, if they fail, I won't even bother to banish them." she replied with a another angry snort as he could spot some smoke coming out of her nose. "Now, be gone with you. You are no longer welcome in Equestria, Argent Dawn." Without a word he turned around and flared his horn to teleport away, not before saying; "Keep in mind that they aren't who you think they are. And also know that whatever you do, I will always be watching." After that he disappeared in a flash of light. [back to present] As leaf was looking at the group, Summer and flower started to stir as they opened their eyes only to close them as they were attacked by the light of Celestias sun. "Urg, why do my eyes want to murder themselves every time I wake up?" said Summer as she rubber her eyes to seize the pain. "I know right, like the sun hates us or something." replied a tired looking Flower also rubbing her eyes with her hoofs to remove the tiredness. Only shortly after to be met with the muzzle of Leaf, locking each other in a kiss. "Aww, aint that sweet." said Summer as she looks at the still snoring Snow next to her, But she still couldn't believe why Celestia would do something like this. All we did was something we did all those Eons, Controlling the seasons so everything would go smoothly. Not a moment later the three spirits were interrupted by a groan coming from Snow who tried to sit up. Summer quickly runs to his side to support him as he sits down. he slowly moves his left hoof over his chest and winches as he accidentally presses to hard on the wound. All Flower and Leaf could do was watching him, wondering what had happened to him. "Summer, what happened to him." asked Leaf as he looks at snows chest. "It was Celestia, after our escape from the Elemental plain we entered the throne room where Celestia and the Elements of Harmony were waiting for us. They attacked us but the elements only banish those with evil within their hearts, so they were useless. After a short moment we were reunited with Luna. I couldn't be more happier then that but then Celestia made the biggest mistake in her life, She shot Snow in the chest with her magic. I could see the anger and fear in her eyes when we were talking to Luna like we were going to eat her or something, but the moment Snow hit the ground something snapped inside of me, after that I just teleported away." After Summer was done all she could do was hug Snow, who accepted the hug without second thought. "Oh god. *cough* what happened, all I remember talking to Luna before something hot hit me." Snow said as he breaks the hug with Summer. He looks up and spots Leaf and Flower. "Oh, hey Leaf, Flower..." then realization hit him "Leaf! Flower! Your back." he practically yelled as he pulled them in a back breaking hug. "When did this happen?" he asks as he continues to hug them. "Well to make a long story short, we were banished to a planet named earth where we lived for like 30 years until Argent Dawn helped up." Leaf explains as he tries to escape the bear hug. "All in all Snow, can you please release us!" Flower yelled. Soon after Snow releases them he chuckles lightly, before once again realization hit him right on the back of his head. "Wait you were helped by Argent Dawn?! Like in THE Argent Dawn?!" he said in excitement while jumping up and down with his wound totally forgotten. "Yes, Snow. THE Argent Dawn. he helped us regain our memories before sending us back here." Flower explains. "We own him our lives." [Ponyville, train station.] While the Spirits tell stories about how things were going during their banishment. The Elements of Harmony returned in Ponyville, Twilight was the first to leave the train. she was still trying to figure out why all this happened. "Girls, Why do I have this feeling that spirit didn't deserve to be attacked. And did you see Luna? In all my years I've never seen her so upset." Twilight said as the group of mares walked through Ponyville. "I know what you mean darling, I also can't get the look Luna gave Celestia out of my head." Rarity replied. "Uh... I hope that stallion is ok..." Fluttershy said in her ever shy tone. "Girls if they weren't dangerous then why were they Banished?" Interrupted Rainbow with her hooves crossed over her chest. "If you ask me we might be better off without those spirits." "Holt it right there Rainbow, what do ya even know about them?" said Applejack as she raises and eyebrow towards the cyan Pegasus. Who stayed silent after. "That's what Ah thought. But Twilight, do ye think there is a book about them?" "I honestly can't say Applejack, but it is worth a shot." Twilight replied. "Let's go everypony! we've got research to do!" After that the group of mares run towards the large tree known as the Golden Oak Library. [Somewhere unknown] "Would you look at that! They are already gaining allies, even if they don't know it themselves." said an unknown shadow as it watches both groups through a mirror. " This is going to be so much fun!"
