The last thing I remember before I died was a shadow looming over me with crimson eyes. I don't remember how I died. All I remember was my life slipping away from the human world, and entering the next and beyond, I was sent into a tunnel that had many portals all around it. Each portal led to different world, and I could tell each was the same, yet different from each other, like different versions. Some of the worlds were peaceful, and some were at war. As I flew through this tunnel, I saw a world filled with Ponies that came in different shapes and forms. And what surprised me the most was that there was magic, something I long to see and use.
As I looked in to this world of magic and Ponies, it was very different from the human world. It seemed more at peace, with no wars and other human problems that I had to deal with in the past. That part of my existence was over, and my next life would begin. As I got closer, I felt a presence that shook my very being to the core. Crimson eyes came into view, the very same that haunted me and that I had seen before leaving the human world. But as to who or what these red eyes belonged, that was a mystery yet to be solved, but I knew I would meet this one very soon. But what was to come next? All I knew is my new journey in life was about to begin. I walked toward my new world and home. What lay ahead I hoped would be a better life than last.
As I entered the portal, bans of light began to race toward me. They engulfed me and began to form a new body. New appendages grew from my head and back. I wasn’t sure why I would need a new form. Was it because I needed a new form to blend in? So many unanswered questions that I knew would never be answered. Then the light began to fade into the void that surrounded me, and I winked out of existence.
Then pale light came into view, my eyes began to open, and I saw the night sky in all its glory. I did not recognize or see any constellations I knew. I looked down and saw a wild and untamed forest. The first thing I noticed was that my sight was enhanced tenfold of what it used to be. For one, I could see in the dark, but most of all, the night seems to be more alive. I could distinguish different animal calls far and near, but then everything went dead silent. A dreadful scream in the dead of night, and something clicked inside me. I felt over whelmed with a predatory instinct that seemed a thousand years old. I smelled blood, such an interesting smell. It smelled like irony heaven. Ha, ha, ha, puns. I began to walk in that toward the smell of the red water. The forest around me was dark and damp, and the path grumbled under my hooves. Each step was getting longer as I raced toward my prey. As I got closer another scream sounded…
“AAAAAAAAH!”
It sounded feminine. I could smell her blood coursing through her veins, and her scent was intoxicating. I could feel fangs descending, ready to sink into her flesh. As I got closer, I could smell others, but they smelled different, almost like a dead corpse. The air felt wrong. Something was amiss; evil was a hoof. I came to an opening. It was some kind of grotto, and trees grew around it. The tree filled with dread as their branches bent and twisted at sickening angles. As shadows whispered in the wind, I knew something was about to happen. Three hooded figures approached the circle where a…mare lay tied down, face up on her back. Her coat was green; her mane was a ghostly white mane along with her tail.
On her flank was a picture of Anglican Cross, but why would…a pony have such mark on her unless? I was in a place that I thought only existed in a TV show. I was in Equestria, how? Why was this happening? I need to stop this … but I was out numbered three to one. So I stayed back. They then dragged a skeleton that had rotting flesh hanging from the bone. But what caught my attention was the undead beating heart. Then I knew something unholy was coming back from beyond the grave. Then they began to chant in an Ancient language.
As the Night wore on the pentagram began to glow red and blood from the mare’s cuts began to flow towards the corpse. Its flesh begins stitch it self back together. Growing over bone and organs grew back in place. Then I felt the presence of a dark soul rise from the deepest of hell. Shadows began to flow toward the body of a stallion. There before me stood a tall dark unicorn whose coat was Black as the night. And behind his very dark mane lay two crimson eyes. The same that had belong to the monster that had taken my life away. And my family who I would never see now, that I had died and could never return home. Then one of the hooded figure spoke.
“ Master how was your trip to the human world,” He asked in question on his masters quest had gone well. If he got who he was after, and if she was the one they had been looking for. A new princess, since they could not convince princess Luna to be their princess of the night. And this new vampire would meet these expectations. Then the dark unicorn turned to them and said this.

“Master, how was your trip to the human world,” He asked. If he got who he was after, and if she was the one they had been looking for - A new princess, since they could not convince Princess Luna to be their Princess of the Night. And this new vampire would meet these expectations. The dark unicorn then turned to them and said this.
"The Order of the Shadows will rise…
I wasn’t sure what he meant by “the Order of the Shadows shall rise”, but whatever this order did, I wanted nothing to do with it. So I quietly began to back away from the scene and make my way out of this forest. I wasn’t sure how or why this was happening, but I knew I had been caught up in a plan to stake claim among the elite of Equestria. I followed the path I now walk upon, I now saw the canopy begin to thin out and saw a small cottage. Dawn was rising, I knew what would happen since I had become a vampire, but I couldn’t hide right now. I have a mess of a new life I had to pull together. So I decided head down the path and into town, I saw ponies starting to rise from their homes. This place had homely feeling to it, I could feel the warmth of the sun start to creep over the tops of thatch roofs, and this pushed me further into the shadows. This world seemed…It had much more warmth more live then I ever saw back home it seem like I was finally free. I saw other ponies pass by, so full of life and hope but…I was dead. I had lost everything to that monster a single tear fell down my face as I remembered the dying screams of my family. I put my hoof to my still un-beating heart; I felt so lost and alone but I knew I had to keep moving despite the great loss I felt.
As I made my way into this town I kept a low profile for as long as I could, I needed to find a library so I could get a better lay of the land and this world. I came to the middle of town and saw a fountain with a mare standing on her hind legs; she must have been the founding pony of this town. Or it was just a stone mare purely chosen for decoration either way it mattered to me very little, now I made my way toward the town library. But all I found was burnt remains and a hole in the ground, I let out a defeated sigh. How was I supposed to start a new life after all that had occurred? I didn’t know where I was nor did I know why he brought or chose me for that matter.
I looked back on the town and knew I didn’t belong here, for I was something that they should all fear. Now I had to get a lay of land before I left this small village, but where to begin? I rubbed my forehead trying to calm my mind into focus, when I noticed the sky becoming dark and it was still morning. This was perplexing. Then, there at the station, stood a tall stallion: Mane black as night, it flowed on an eerie breeze. He coat was very, very dark brown, it almost seemed black.
His dark brown eyes scanned the crowd till they landed on me ‘found her’ he thought to himself. He had gifted me with strong magic but an alicorn was something he wasn’t expecting, a unicorn nonetheless, he was pleased.
He saw me disappear after I saw him approaching me, I made my way to the park and it was sunny out at least here anyway. I debated whether to step fourth into the very light that could very well destroy me.
Every day, a little death, another day, another week.
Another month, another year it would be all the same another day another night. Where I would kill until its day again where nothing would change, every day would shuffle by like the day before. And the night would come again where death paces the floor where the dead lay under the blackest of skies and a little bit of me would die even more than I am now.

And I know why
I felt emptier then I had every felt in years and this song and it proved that. I was to be cursed, a beast, forever to drink the blood of the innocent. And the sun no longer my friend, I now belonged to the night itself. A single tear fell on the ground, I step fourth into the sun to stop myself from harming anyone or in this case any pony. I felt the heat of the sunbeam down me, I began to burn soon, and flames adored my form. Finally, pony else would be safe, but it was not to be so. I saw six mares come running this way.
“Rainbow Dash, make it rain and put her out.” The purple alicorn said, her friend began gathering clouds. She was moving at a much faster pace to, so that she could put the fire out that had engulfed me. I curse them for getting in the way of my death, rain began to pour down and extinguishing the flames. Pain started to set in I felt weak, I fell to the ground and felt my self-fading from consciousness. They were coming toward me, the last thing I saw were they taking me to the hospital in this town after that I blacked out.
