One thousand two hundred seventy six years ago, dreamwalking was discovered by Princess Luna, a magic which would allow one to enter another’s dreams. In it’s infancy few knew of it, and even fewer could understand it. Sadly, upon Luna’s banishment, this knowledge was lost to the world, never to be found. Over a thousand years, truths became myths, and the myths were eventually forgotten.

However, upon Luna’s return, she discovered it had not been misplaced or hidden away, as once thought, but stolen. Dreamwalking had evolved from a magic of true inspiration and wonder, to a magic of deception and suffering. Criminals had made use of the magic to torment poor souls and retrieve secrets for themselves, all beyond the vigilant gaze of the Royal Guard. By the order of her majesty Princess Luna, a new division was formed, one whose jurisdiction would fall beyond the physical world to combat this corruption.
