Hinata's Adventure in Equestria

It's been several years since Hinata, now Sun Sprinkle, was born in Equestria, and her new live couldn't have been any different if she tried. She had quickly proven herself to be a prodigy in magic, while Twilight took a bit longer to learn. despite that, the two were enrolled in Celestia School for Gifted Unicorns at the same time. Sun went first, and she had to pass a written test and perform some basic magic spells, like levitation. Needless to say, she passed with flying colors and was allowed entry into the advanced level.

Twilight needed to do a similar written test, but when it came time for the practical, a dragon's egg was wheeled in, and she was instructed to try to hatch it. Sun was concerned, but didn't interfere, even as Twilight showed signs of failing. It was when there was a sudden explosion that Twilight's magic was kickstarted, and the dragon egg hatched. But her magic didn't stop there as it quickly overwhelmed her, encasing her proctors in a magic bubble and turning her parents into potted plants. It also aged the dragon into an adult catching Celestia's attention, who quickly went to investigate. Celestia managed to calm Twilight down, and took the purple unicorn on as her personal protege, while also showing that Twilight earned her Cutie Mark.

Several years have passed since then, and both Twilight and Sun had recently graduated from Celestia's school. Sun had decided to stay with Twilight despite that, since the purple mare seemed worried about something.

"Twilight, if you keep working like this, you'll burn yourself out!" Sun said.

"Don't you know what's coming up?" Twilight asked Sun, looking for a book.

"Of course I know. It's the Summer Sun Celebration. But why does that worry you?" Sun asked as she watched.

"It worries me because it's the thousandth year of the Summer Sun Celebration. Don't you remember the story of Nightmare moon? She was sealed away one thousand years ago. And according to the myth, she will make her escape a thousand years after she was sealed. That means she'll escape during this Summer Sun Celebration! I've had Spike send the princess a letter. Hopefully I'll get a response soon."

It was at this moment that Spike gagged, before burping a letter out, he opened it and read it, but the contents weren't reassuring to Twilight. despite that, the three packed for an extended stay in Ponyville.

The next day, it didn't take them long to reach Ponyville, and they climbed out of the chariot after landing.

"Now, we're herd on business. We need to check on the food, weather, decorations, and music. I'll handle the food and weather. I want you to handle the decorations and music. Can you do that?" Twilight asked as she divided the tasks.

"I can. My special eyes should be able to help." Sun said. Twilight gave a slight shiver. Sun's eyes still freaked her out a bit. She nodded all the same and they split up, Spike going with Twilight as she headed to Sweet Apple Acres.

Sun headed in the direction of Town Hall, and when she reached it, she used her Byakugan to check if anyone was inside. Her veins bulged as she peered through the walls and saw a pony just starting to get to work. She turned her Byakugan off, causing her veins to return to normal, and she entered the building.

She approached the white unicorn who was busy with the decorations and cleared her throat.

"Excuse me, I'm Sun Sprinkle, and I'm here to check on the decorations." She said as she introduced herself.

"Don't bother me right now, I'm 'in the zone' as it were. Please come back later if you want to check up on me." The white unicorn said. Sun nodded and left the building.
