Trixie held back tears as she stared at the computer screen. Could it really be true? Had her magic been more powerful than she thought? But she still wasnt better then Ivy Bright. All that had come from being an apprentice was making her parents disappear. Fantastic. Not.

Trixie stared at the article that showed up. Featherpen and Inkpen had run a book shop where they would copy old texts to sell them to buyers but as equestria advanced factories got hold of these texts and started printing them making the Pens go bankrupt. The Pens had been planning on moving to Manehattan with Trixies aunts and uncles but they never showed up there. The leaves rustling is a monster creeping through the bushes. The wind blowing was the howl of an animal trixie came into a clearing and heard... A scream? No no it's just the wind. But... It sounds like a voice. No wait, voices. The voices started getting closer. And trixie saw the bushes on the other side if the clearing rustling and heard screams and a growl. Trixie had heard that growl before from her crhildhood, but she had forced those horrible memories out of her mind long before. Trixie stepped back just as the owners if the screams came out of the bushes. Trixie gasped as she saw...
