All ponies living in Equestria, and perhaps elsewhere, all have special talents. My special talent, for reasons that are unknown to me, is that I am both invisible and inaudible. Yes, I know, it's hard to believe myself, but as far back as I can remember, I have never been able to interact with other ponies. I have even tried with other lives, from loudly stomping through a pack of Timberwolves, to shouting profanity at a hydra. But I'm rambling, I live in a small town called Ponyville, and I currently make my residence in a small alcove within the branches of the giant tree that makes up the Ponyville Library. When I am a Unicorn, I am able to levitate myself the short distance into the branches. When I am a Pegasus, I simply fly into my makeshift home. And when I am an Earth Pony I climb the bark of the tree. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, I, for nameless causes once again, shift between the three races of ponies whenever I fall asleep. It is always random, and I never know which form I will take when I awake. The only rule that I seem to have found is that I must change form, I have never woken up once in the same form that I fell asleep in. The only things that stay the same is my color, gender, and cutie mark. I do not know who my parents were, nor what my childhood was like. The first thing that I can remember was being guided by a bluish-grey male unicorn with a grey mane and beard. He was the only one who ever acknowledged my existence. Out of curiosity, I have also read most of the history of Equestria, though for some reason, I feel as if it is full of empty spots. Again I roam, but I guess that may just be part of who I am. I am a Pegasus today and the Summer Sun Celebration is tomorrow night. My birthday is coming up soon, I wonder if Pinkie will be throwing a party that day? If so, I think I will try to sneak some cake again. I don’t really care anymore that I have to steal from others to eat, when I find money I try to pay back what I can by giving the money to those I stole from. But, still, if it's either I die from starvation or somepony's money stock suffers, I choose to live. I will end here today as sleep is beginning to take me. Woke up to find movers bringing supplies into the library, went through some of the documents the boss had. Found that a student of Princess Celestia, Alicorn of the Sun and Day, is moving into Ponyville. So, the library has a new resident now. Her name is Twilight Sparkle, a unicorn, she and her little dragon friend Spike are from Canterlot. She came here to watch over the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration tonight, and since I had nothing better to do, I followed her around. I first saw her when she met with Pinkie Pie who, as one who loves meeting new ponies, proceeded to gasp loudly and hover in the air until she flew away. Twilight responded to this manner by speaking how weird it was. Ha, if only she knew. The next pony she spoke with was Applejack of the Apple clan. Unfortunately for her, Twilight was caught up in the Apple family reunion, and was forced to stay for lunch. I helped her out a little by sneaking food off her plate, but she still ended up feeling a little bloated afterwards. Her and Spike met with the infamous Rainbow Dash next. The weather mare was, as usual, working on her aerial maneuvers. It seemed as if Twilight didn't think Rainbow would be able to be able to make it into 'The Wonderbolts', a super fast stunt team made of Pegasi, but then I realized that she was actually just goading Rainbow into clearing the sky of clouds. The look on Twilight's face was hilarious when Rainbow proceeded to clear the sky in 10 seconds flat. Rarity was the next pony Twilight and Spike met in Ponyville. It was obvious from first sight that Spike was crushing on Rarity bad. I almost felt bad for the baby dragon, if his attempts to sway Rarity wasn't so funny. After making sure that the preparations for the celebration were ready, Twilight and Spike went off to meet Fluttershy. I grew bored of their companionship once Spike began talking about his life story. So I returned home to find Pinkie putting on the finishing touches of a welcoming party. Predicting a certain reaction from the purple unicorn, I watched from the outside (for the safety of my ears) as Twilight walked into what could be considered a trap. I was a bit disappointed that there was no scream. ================================================= I'm rushing this part here. The Alicorn of legend, Nightmare Moon has returned and plans to make the night eternal. Frankly I couldn't care less, but there might be a chance that an Alicorn could be able to see or hear me. She has probably gone to the old castle in the Everfree Forest where she used to live, and where she was banished. I am grateful for the treks I've made through that place now, for I know a shortcut. ================================================= *wet spots cover the journal in certain areas* I sometimes find it hard to see the positive things in life. I was able to reach the castle before Nightmare Moon and quickly began searching for her. A few minutes later I found her being confronted by none other than the same mare that had just moved into town. At first I tried to gain attention by shouting out at either of them, when that didn't work I tried jumping in front of Nightmare Moon as Twilight began to chant over five spherical rocks. Nightmare just teleported away and in front of Twilight smashing the rocks apart. I decided to just watch as I realized that even an Alicorn could not see me. When the ponies that Twilight had met arrived and began to glow, I realized that they were wielding the legendary Elements of Harmony. The giant rainbow that struck out at Nightmare Moon returned her to the state she was before the darkness took over, Princess Luna, Alicorn of the Moon and Night. With that, the sun began to rise and Princess Celestia reappeared, hope began to kindle within my soul once again. I did whatever I could think of to attract attention to myself, even shouting out curses towards both princesses as they began to leave. I next did the unthinkable as I grabbed a rock in my telekinetic grip, and chucked it at the Princess. For a short time, I thought that I had gained Celestia's attention. But when she looked up and all around her she simply shrugged and mumbled about how the roof must be collapsing. It broke me. I laid down and began to cry hard, not caring if a monster somehow heard me and killed me. I fell asleep from the tears and woke up an Earth pony. I have returned to my home and since then, retreated to my alcove, and began to write this entry. Good Night. Still trying to get over the fact that even the supposed 'Almighty Goddesses' couldn't detect my presence, I learned that Twilight had been given two tickets to the annual 'Grand Galloping Gala.' Why only two tickets, when she has six friends? I don't know. I had snuck into the gala a few years back, I was trying to meet the Princess to see if she could see or at least hear me. Now I know that it was a complete waste and she wouldn't have been able to see me, even if I had found her back then. Nonetheless, the gala itself was really boring, the food was small and tasted like old socks. I don't think I'll go this time, or ever again for that matter. Twilight eventually decided that she would rather not go then to have to choose between her friends, and the Princess sent more tickets so they could all go. I swear, somepony's just have all the luck. I don't hate her for it, but it is a bit annoying when one suffers while another lives easily. Time to find dinner, good night. ================================================= Today was, interesting to say the least. Woke up an Earth pony, to find that the cows from 'Sweet Apple Acres' were stampeding towards town. Applejack and her dog Winona were able to steer them away so nothing was damaged, only to have a bunny stampede ransack the place the very afternoon. I went over to the farm to find that Applejack was working herself ragged. My good nature kicked in and I proceeded to help her finish the first half of the farm. I got tired after that, but luckily for AJ, her friends came over and helped her finish the rest of the orchard. Though honestly, I'm surprised she didn't get in any trouble seeing as she poisoned most of the town with her baked bads. (I was lucky enough to miss them.) Good night. ================================================= Pegasus again today, decided to laze about in the clouds when I saw Rainbow Dash hanging out with a Griffin. Since Griffins are rare to Equestria and tend to stay within their own land, I decided to follow after and see what was going on. The griffin's name was Gilda and she was a friends of Dash's back at Flight camp. Which reminds me, I wonder if I am a Gary Stu, like in a few books I have read. I've never needed to learn how to fly. It's probable that I learned it before I lost my memory and my body remembers. It would also explain why I knew basic magic without studying. Some food for thought. Anyway, Gilda turned out to be a bit of a jerk, but fortunately karma found a way, and she left town after making a fool of herself. I wonder why she acted the way she did though, I thought of following after and trying to figure out why, but decided against it and stayed in Ponyville. Good night. I'm an Earth pony today and Ponyville was visited by a traveling showmare Unicorn named Trixie. A real bragger but at least she was able to make us laugh when she rudely pranks Applejack, Rainbow, and even Rarity who's hair she turned green. Though I laughed even more from the fact that Carrot Top had fallen victim to some Poison Joke and had green hair at the time. Even though she had bragged about besting an Ursa Major in combat, she did not fare as well when an Ursa Minor showed up, chasing after two foolish young colts who thought it was a smart idea to wake it up. Trixie refused to be embarrassed, thus do the smart thing and apologize for giving the young colts the idea, and instead fled town boasting all the way. Twilight was thankfully able to put the baby star bear to sleep and kept the town safe. Speaking of Twilight, she definitely proved that she's Princesses Celestia's student, just by the amount of magic she used without going into fatigue. Good night. ================================================= Unicorn today, and I was able to clear up all the cash debts I wrote down thanks to this dragon that decided to take a nap in the mountain cave near Ponyville. I was able to spot it and grab some gems from its hoard before Twilight and her friends showed up and scared the dragon away. Intimidate would be a better word though honestly. Small note while I remember, I should mention that anything I carry, including though magic, becomes unnoticeable just like me. Makes for some good pranks though. Anyway, Twilight and each of her friends tried to persuade the dragon to leave town and not cause the sky to be filled with smoke for the next hundred years. Each failed miserably until Rainbow flew in and kicked the dragon, causing it to get quite mad. Now the yellow pegasus Fluttershy is not one you would see facing danger normally. Rather you would see her taking care of most of Ponyville's animals. But I've seen her wrestle bears just so she can give them a massage, so it came as no surprise when she forced her will onto the dragon by glaring down on it with what she calls 'The Stare.' My birthday's coming up soon, wonder if anything interesting will happen. Good night. ================================================= Happy Birthday to me! I'm 18 years old now by my estimate. Couldn't find a cake though, oh well. Pegasus today, and the weather team has scheduled a big storm for tonight. Zecora's a herbologist , also called a witch doctor or druid by some cultures, but thanks to the muttering of others all anypony calls her is an evil enchantress. I once followed her home to see if the rumors were true, and beheld to my surprise, she was crying herself to sleep that day. It was then that I realized that her problem was similar but at the same time, the opposite of mine. While I can't be seen or heard, Zecora could, but they ignored her anyway. Today thankfully that all changed. Thanks to Applejack's little sister Applebloom, Twilight's gang walked through some Poison Joke the day before, and after some laughs, Zecora gave them the antidote in the form of a bath. Zecora is now accepted in Ponyville and has friends. Curious I decided to see what would happen when she returned home alone for the night, after all, everypony acts differently when they are alone. I was happy to see that she had a skip in her step. At her house she said in her native tongue a phrase that I translated (with help from a book of course) just a few moments ago. Zecora roughly said that she was happy to finally have friends. My heart hurts, but I am happy at the same time. Zecora was finally able to be noticed. I wonder if the day will come that I too can be found. Good night. Apparently somepony thought it was a good idea to bring Parasprites into town. I was barely able to get two meals in my belly before the gluttony incarnates, AKA: Parasprite, ate most of the town's food supply. How Twilight didn’t know about them is a mystery to me, seeing as there is an entry in the Everfree Bestiary of them. I've seen her reading a new book almost every day, how has she not got to that book yet!? What's worse is that she tried to change them with magic. The book explicitly says that trying to use magic on a Parasprite changes their diet from edible food, to inanimate objects. I'm just glad that they couldn't find the cloud I was hiding in. Thankfully Pinkie knew how to get rid of the accursed flying demons. Music tames the wild soul they say. Maybe she read the bestiary. Good night. ================================================= I've discovered that the only way I can beat Rainbow Dash or Applejack in a race is if they are both to focused on each other that they come in last place for the 'Running of the Leaves.' I'm an Earth pony right now, and had decided to participate in the annual autumn race. I didn't think I would do so well, got second place, if I was visible I mean. Twilight placed not too far behind, while the two most athletic ponies in town came in last because they were too focused in beating the other to really be a challenge. But it is also holds a curse that most don't like to think of. It says that no matter what you do, this will always be your most talented skill. I will always be the best at hiding. It made me wonder, what was I like when I was their age, before I got my cutie mark. Were others able to see and hear me back then? If not, then what about my parents, how did they take care of me? I just know I'm going to have bad dreams from these thoughts. Rarity, one such dressmaker, apparently hit creators block or something, and decided to give all her friends dresses that look completely ridiculous. It's just they looked like something children put together, instead of what a pony who took their business seriously would have shown. Now I know what most of you readers are thinking, and I admit it sounds bizarre, but those that live in Ponyville long enough learn that if Pinkie's body is acting up, it's time to take cover. For the rest of the day, I proceeded to trail Twilight who trailed Pinkie, and laughed whenever she had the misfortune of being hit, smacked, and attacked by whatever controls luck. For Twilight had none today. When Pinkie had a whole new 'Pinkie Sense', as she calls them, it lead to Froggy Bottom Bog, and Fluttershy being attacked by a hydra. Everypony escaped, and I even got to see Twilight go into a 'Rage Shift' and light on fire. Well that's enough for now, time to (writing is obscured here by a smudge) And Celestia just fell on top of the tree shaking it. I swear, somepony's just have all the luck. I don't hate her for it, but it is a bit annoying when one suffers while another lives easily. Time to find dinner, good night. ================================================= Today was, interesting to say the least. Woke up an Earth pony, to find that the cows from 'Sweet Apple Acres' were stampeding towards town. Applejack and her dog Winona were able to steer them away so nothing was damaged, only to have a bunny stampede ransack the place the very afternoon. I went over to the farm to find that Applejack was working herself ragged. My good nature kicked in and I proceeded to help her finish the first half of the farm. I got tired after that, but luckily for AJ, her friends came over and helped her finish the rest of the orchard. Though honestly, I'm surprised she didn't get in any trouble seeing as she poisoned most of the town with her baked bads. (I was lucky enough to miss them.) Good night. ================================================= Pegasus again today, decided to laze about in the clouds when I saw Rainbow Dash hanging out with a Griffin. Since Griffins are rare to Equestria and tend to stay within their own land, I decided to follow after and see what was going on. The griffin's name was Gilda and she was a friends of Dash's back at Flight camp. Which reminds me, I wonder if I am a Gary Stu, like in a few books I have read. I've never needed to learn how to fly. It's probable that I learned it before I lost my memory and my body remembers. It would also explain why I knew basic magic without studying. Some food for thought. Anyway, Gilda turned out to be a bit of a jerk, but fortunately karma found a way, and she left town after making a fool of herself. I wonder why she acted the way she did though, I thought of following after and trying to figure out why, but decided against it and stayed in Ponyville. Good night.

I'm an Earth pony today and Ponyville was visited by a traveling showmare Unicorn named Trixie. A real bragger but at least she was able to make us laugh when she rudely pranks Applejack, Rainbow, and even Rarity who's hair she turned green. Though I laughed even more from the fact that Carrot Top had fallen victim to some Poison Joke and had green hair at the time. Even though she had bragged about besting an Ursa Major in combat, she did not fare as well when an Ursa Minor showed up, chasing after two foolish young colts who thought it was a smart idea to wake it up. Trixie refused to be embarrassed, thus do the smart thing and apologize for giving the young colts the idea, and instead fled town boasting all the way. Twilight was thankfully able to put the baby star bear to sleep and kept the town safe. Speaking of Twilight, she definitely proved that she's Princesses Celestia's student, just by the amount of magic she used without going into fatigue. Good night. ================================================= Unicorn today, and I was able to clear up all the cash debts I wrote down thanks to this dragon that decided to take a nap in the mountain cave near Ponyville. I was able to spot it and grab some gems from its hoard before Twilight and her friends showed up and scared the dragon away. Intimidate would be a better word though honestly. Small note while I remember, I should mention that anything I carry, including though magic, becomes unnoticeable just like me. Makes for some good pranks though. Anyway, Twilight and each of her friends tried to persuade the dragon to leave town and not cause the sky to be filled with smoke for the next hundred years. Each failed miserably until Rainbow flew in and kicked the dragon, causing it to get quite mad. Now the yellow pegasus Fluttershy is not one you would see facing danger normally. Rather you would see her taking care of most of Ponyville's animals. But I've seen her wrestle bears just so she can give them a massage, so it came as no surprise when she forced her will onto the dragon by glaring down on it with what she calls 'The Stare.' My birthday's coming up soon, wonder if anything interesting will happen. Good night. ================================================= Happy Birthday to me! I'm 18 years old now by my estimate. Couldn't find a cake though, oh well. Pegasus today, and the weather team has scheduled a big storm for tonight. So I moved my blanket and journal inside of the library and into the basement, which has been turned into a lab for Twilight. Going to head to sleep soon. Glad I grabbed some earplugs though, Spike is away on some royal business, but since Applejack and Rarity got caught in the storm they are spending the night here as well. I swear those three are must be making a lot of noise for me to hear it all the way down here. Good night. ================================================= Earth pony today, and both happy and sad at the same time while I write this entry. Now most ponies didn't know this before, but a peaceful zebra named Zecora lives just outside of Ponyville in the Everfree Forest. Zecora's a herbologist , also called a witch doctor or druid by some cultures, but thanks to the muttering of others all anypony calls her is an evil enchantress. I once followed her home to see if the rumors were true, and beheld to my surprise, she was crying herself to sleep that day. It was then that I realized that her problem was similar but at the same time, the opposite of mine. While I can't be seen or heard, Zecora could, but they ignored her anyway. Today thankfully that all changed. Thanks to Applejack's little sister Applebloom, Twilight's gang walked through some Poison Joke the day before, and after some laughs, Zecora gave them the antidote in the form of a bath. Zecora is now accepted in Ponyville and has friends. Curious I decided to see what would happen when she returned home alone for the night, after all, everypony acts differently when they are alone. I was happy to see that she had a skip in her step. At her house she said in her native tongue a phrase that I translated (with help from a book of course) just a few moments ago. Zecora roughly said that she was happy to finally have friends. My heart hurts, but I am happy at the same time. Zecora was finally able to be noticed. I wonder if the day will come that I too can be found. Good night.

Apparently somepony thought it was a good idea to bring Parasprites into town. I was barely able to get two meals in my belly before the gluttony incarnates, AKA: Parasprite, ate most of the town's food supply. How Twilight didn’t know about them is a mystery to me, seeing as there is an entry in the Everfree Bestiary of them. I've seen her reading a new book almost every day, how has she not got to that book yet!? What's worse is that she tried to change them with magic. The book explicitly says that trying to use magic on a Parasprite changes their diet from edible food, to inanimate objects. I'm just glad that they couldn't find the cloud I was hiding in. Thankfully Pinkie knew how to get rid of the accursed flying demons. Music tames the wild soul they say. Maybe she read the bestiary. Good night. ================================================= I've discovered that the only way I can beat Rainbow Dash or Applejack in a race is if they are both to focused on each other that they come in last place for the 'Running of the Leaves.' I'm an Earth pony right now, and had decided to participate in the annual autumn race. I didn't think I would do so well, got second place, if I was visible I mean. Twilight placed not too far behind, while the two most athletic ponies in town came in last because they were too focused in beating the other to really be a challenge. Just goes to show, you shouldn't get too competitive. Good night. ================================================= The cutie mark of a pony shows their special talent, what they are best at. But it is also holds a curse that most don't like to think of. It says that no matter what you do, this will always be your most talented skill. I will always be the best at hiding. A unicorn at the moment, and a stuffed one at that. Was able to eat quite a bit of food at Diamond Tiara's 'Cutecinyera,' and saw three fillies wanting to grow up too fast. It made me wonder, what was I like when I was their age, before I got my cutie mark. Were others able to see and hear me back then? If not, then what about my parents, how did they take care of me? I just know I'm going to have bad dreams from these thoughts. Good night. ================================================= I despise the winter the most, if I can't get inside a building before nightfall, I have to sleep out in the snow. Glad it's finally over though. Earth pony currently, and drinking some hot chocolate I made in Sugarcube Corner while the residents were out "wrapping up winter." I don't usually help clean winter, others just don't like it when something gets done and nopony has any memory of doing it. It creeps them out, and then they start panicking, ungrateful jerks. From what I heard, this is the first winter wrap up in Mayor Mare's time that Ponyville hasn't been late to finish. Much thanks go to Twilight and her organization skills. I get that some ponies like to look fancy, but it just doesn't click in my head. If clothes are not required then why wear them. All they really do is restrict your movements. Nevertheless, ponies wear clothes, and it even becomes something of a business. Rarity, one such dressmaker, apparently hit creators block or something, and decided to give all her friends dresses that look completely ridiculous. It's just they looked like something children put together, instead of what a pony who took their business seriously would have shown. To quote that silly mail-mare that Ponyville has, "I just don't know what went wrong." Good night. ================================================= Unicorn, and started off my day by watching Twilight use magic to change common items into a suit for Spike to wear. I did however get a small laugh when the rock on his head smashed into his skull. Then Pinkie appeared, and when I saw her wearing an umbrella hat, I ran for cover. Now I know what most of you readers are thinking, and I admit it sounds bizarre, but those that live in Ponyville long enough learn that if Pinkie's body is acting up, it's time to take cover. For the rest of the day, I proceeded to trail Twilight who trailed Pinkie, and laughed whenever she had the misfortune of being hit, smacked, and attacked by whatever controls luck. For Twilight had none today. When Pinkie had a whole new 'Pinkie Sense', as she calls them, it lead to Froggy Bottom Bog, and Fluttershy being attacked by a hydra. Everypony escaped, and I even got to see Twilight go into a 'Rage Shift' and light on fire. Well that's enough for now, time to (writing is obscured here by a smudge) And Celestia just fell on top of the tree shaking it. That's it, I don't care how bright it still is, good night. ================================================= Pegasus today and went to watch the Young Flier's competition in Cloudsdale, for free I feel I should mention. A small benefit of being unnoticeable. Anyway, I happened to find out that Twilight and friends came along to cheer on Rainbow Dash, while I was pinching some rainbows while they were still in liquid state to use for some pranks when I returned home. I learned that too much make up on a pony makes them look hideous. Seriously Rarity, you definitely made sure no-pony wanted to look at anything but your fake wings. Anyway, Rainbow performed a Sonic Rainboom when she had to save Rarity from falling to her death after she got to close to the sun and her wings burst into flames. As I am unable to fully explain how awesome it is to watch such a stunt, I can only tell you readers that it was truly a sight to behold. Before I close for the night, I thought that I should probably explain that even though I can walk on clouds and lie on them while I am a Pegasus, I always return to the ground before I fall unconscious. I don't want to fall and get injured, possibly killed, from turning into an earth pony or unicorn during the middle of my snooze. Good night.
