//-------------------------------------------------------// Rainbow Dash picks up Scootaloo from school -by Billiamiscool- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Asking the filly on my back //-------------------------------------------------------// Asking the filly on my back Exuse the grammar, spelling (which I think is the same thing), and gerneral lack of story quality, as I've said before, this whole story was written on my PS Vita. My wings blue steached out wide, my rainbow mane flapping in the wind. In other words, total bliss. Saddly, my bliss will end extreemly quickly, but I can blame myself for that. Manly because of my amazing speed. Example: I started for the schoolhouse less then 5 minutes ago, and I'm already here. Makes perfect sense that I have a fan club. I look around the schoolyard for somepony to talk to. I see Rarity and Applejack talking a couple of meters away, thank Celestia! I was scared I wouldn't be able to talk to anypony. "Hey girls! What's up?" I called, flapping over to the two ponies. Poor Rarity almost jumped out of her coat, while Applejack just looked over to me with a smile on her face, "hia Rainbow, ah'm fine, how 'bout you?" The orange mare asked. "I'm good, thanks." I replied. I looked over to Rarity, who appeared to have regained her composure, "please Rainbow, don't sneak up on ponies like that!" "Sorry Rarity..." I mumbled. "That's quite alright Rainbow Dash." Said Rarity. The three ponies began to shuffle uncomfortablely, "so, ahh, Rainbow, what are ya doin' here?" Asked Applejack. "I'm here to pick up Scootaloo, I offered to take her home ane she accepted." I replied. Ring. Ring. Ring. An army of fillies spilled out of the school. Three cutie mark-less fillies began charging towards us. One orange. One white. And one yellow. Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom. "Hey ya silly filly, how was ya day?" Asked Applejack, walking away with Apple Bloom. "Hello Sweetie Belle, how was your day?" Asked Rarity, walking away with her little sister. I tured to Scootaloo and decided to copy my friends actions, "sup Scoots, how was your day?" I asked. The little filly looked like she was about to burst, and who could blame her? "My day was awesome thanks to you Rainbow Dash! I was excited all day just from the thought of you picking me up!" I leand to my side and drapped my wing until it was touching the ground, "hop on." I said to the excited little Pegasus. She wasted no time jumping onto my back, and in no time at all, we where in the air. I turned my head to the little filly on my back, I was going to use this alone time between us to learn more about Scootaloo, but I had to start slow. "So... what are you learning in school?" I asked. "Nothing interesting, right now we're learing maths." Answered Scootaloo. "Any particular type of maths?" Scootaloo looked confused, "there are different types of maths? Now I'm glad I wasn't paying attention!" I chuckled at Scootaloo's attitude to school, it was almost identical to mine. "Scoots I hate go say this, but you should really pay attention to maths." Both me and Scoots shiverd at the words that left my mouth. "Whatever," said Scootaloo, waving her hoof dismissivly, "all I want to learn about is flying!" I smiled a cheaky smile, "well maybe I should ask Cheerilee if I can come in for one of the your classes." Sccotaloo's smile was so big it sbould have broken the universe, but luckly for all existance, it didn't. "Really? You'd do that for me?!" "Corse I would, I'm awesome!" I said simply. I decided this time would be as good as any to ask the question I'd been wanting to ask all day, "so Scoots, where do ya live?" The smile on Scootaloo's face disappeared, which confused me, "oh, uhh, you don't have to fly me all the way home..." Said Scootaloo. "Yeah, I don't have to, but I want to." I said. "No seriesly, just drop me off here!" She cried. I stopped and looked her right in eyes, "Scoots, tell me where you live!" "No, no! Please!" Scootaloo shouted. I spun round and grapped Sccotaloo by the sholders, and began shaking her, "where do you live?!" I shouted, much to harshly, "tell me!" Tears began spilling from Sccotaloo's eyes, "nononono no!" She cried, shaking her head. Sccotaloo struggled out of my grasp, she pizzed her wings as hard as she could. She didn't gain any altertude, but she did sofen her landing. She began to run, crying. "Buck." I said simply. I flew saddly back to Ponyville. Suddenly I felt myself be dragged to the ground, when I landed I saw a pink fluffy shape infront of my face, "Hey Rainbow!" Cried Pinkie Pie, "why so down?!" I sighed heavily, "I upset Scootaloo, and now I don't where she is." "Really? How?" Asked Pinkie. "Well, I don't know, I asked her a queastion and she got upset." I said. "Oh, then let's go find her!" Cried Pinkie. I smiled, "let's go!" We walked through Ponyville, calling Scootaloo's name. I hung my head low, "uhh, we'll never find her." We started to walk to the Everfree, "Pinkie, are you sure Scoots would be in the forest?" I asked. "Well, we we've looked everywhere else, so she has to be in the Everfree!" Pinkie looked over to me, "do you think that Scootaloo should be a professional 'hide and seak' player?" I chuckled, no matter the situation, Pinkie could always make me or anyother pony laugh. I started to see the big and terrifing trees that marked the Everfree forest. "Scoots! Scoots! Where are you?!" I sbouted. "Maybe she's in the trees?" Suggested Pinkie. "Well, maybe..." Before I could think about it anymore, Pinkie Pie ran off into the trees. I followed her. After a short walk we began to hear a mumbled voice, "what do you think, Stickie?" The voice said. We sighlently pushed the bushes aside, behind the bushes was a small clearing. In the clearing there was a mat with a blanket and a pillow, there was a fire pit, some pots and pans, and a scooter. But I didn't care about any of these things. What I cared about was the orange filly and the timber-wolf she was hugging. The wolf looked over at me and Pinkie and began growling angryly, "what's wrong, Stickie?" Asked Scootaloo. I sighed, now's as good a time as any. I stepped out of the bush, "Scoots, what is all this?" Before I knew whay was happening there was a pony at my hooves, "please Rainbow Dash, don't tell anypony! If anypony learned they'd all hate me and no pony would wont to be around me and I'd be kicked out of school-" I put my hoof in Scootaloo's mouth, "slow down, Scoots, I don't even know what I'm being banned from saying!" Scootaloo sighed and did a sweaping motion with her hoof, "welcome to my home." She said saddly. "Wait," I said, confused, "are you... homeless?" Scootaloo began to cry in my hooves, "please please please! Don't tell anypony! I know they'd all hate me!" I hugged the pony beneth me, "why do you think ponies would hate you?" I asked her. "Why would anypony like a homeless pony like me?" She asked, tears staining her cheaks. "I like you, no matter how or where you live, but I do want to know one thing, why did you get all upset when I asked you where you live?" Scootaloo began to suffle uncomfortably, "well... when you started asking me I got scared that you'd learn my secret, then you kept asking me and I got more and more scared... then I ran away..." Pinkie walkex up to us, "I think you've both learned a valuable leason, Scootaloo, you've learned that you shouldn't hide your true self, because ponies don't care how or where you live, and Rainbow, you've learned that if somepony doesn't want to tell you something, don't pressure them." Me and Scootaloo looked over at the pink pony, "Pinkie, sinse when were you so smart?" "Ohh! Look! A butterfly!" And just like that Pinkie Pie became Pinkie Pie again. "Now Scoots," I started, "how about I get you and your wolf a proper home." Scootaloo beamed, "you mean...?" I smiled, "I sure do!" Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that no matter how much you want to know something, and no matter how unimportant you think something is, you can't pressure somepony into saying something. From your most loyal and awesome subject, Rainbow Dash. And dear Princess Celestia, Today I learnt that you shouldn't hide your true self, no matter how embarrasing you think your secret is, because no matter who you are, your friends will always love you. From Rainbow Dash's adobted sister, Scootaloo. Author's Note I know, I know! It sucks. But hopefilly it's enjoyable.
